I typically don't post reviews, but felt compelled to for NameSilo. As a little background, I needed to transfer a large number of domains from my previous registrar since they were going out of business. I contacted NameSilo and asked if they could help me with my transfers right away due to the circumstances. I was amazed not only that someone was available for an online chat at 11:30 on a Friday night, but that they were able to help me with every part of the process). I don't know if everyone gets this same level of support (I don't see how that would be possible), but I feel lucky to have seen their ad and am happy to report that all of my domains are now safely in my NameSilo account thanks in no small part to the expert support that I received.

Great company, great customer support. I've only needed to contact them twice since their web site is so easy to use, but both times were a great experience. The person that picked up the phone understood my questions and was able to help me in both cases within just a few minutes. I just wish they offered hosting :)

So far so good. I am skeptical of domain registrars based on past experiences, but I own over 500 domains, so unfortunately I have to trust at least one of them. I have only had to contact namesilo once and I got a reply right away - their web site has always been up when I need to load it - the DNS updates are snappy - its pretty easy to manage lots of domains in their interface - and they cost less than any of the other registrars I have used which end up raping you on renewals.

Hopefully they don't screw anything up, and I don't have to switch again.

This is the first registrar I have ever contacted where the person who responded actually understood how DNS works and was not just reading from some support knowledge base. Typically I have very mid-level expectations, and those expectations are typically met. I don't post positive kudos unless I am really impressed and I was genuinely impressed with this registrar - will be moving more of my domains to them.

No problems here so far... unlike my last registrar namecheap. My friend recommended them and I am glad I listened - cheaper domains, but what you get for your money is not cheap. I like their API - my friend that recommended them uses the API and got me using it. I develop web sites for a living and am moving all my client domains over the namesilo.

My tech guy recommended I give NameSilo a shot after GoDaddy had one of my most valuable domains stolen. Not only was the process easy, but the echnicians who man their online chat were able to guide me every step of the way. To say that I am "technically challenged" is putting it mildly and anything related to my domains has always seemed daunting. I am happy to report that NameSilo is the real deal!

Not bad. I have used GD, namecheap, and dotster in the past (dotster by far being the worst). I get better pricing at namesilo and their renewals are cheap too. I usually never contact my registrar - I simply expect them not to screw things up and be available if I ever do need them. I dropped on a support chat to make sure someone does pick up - so far so good. Better prices, good interface, free privacy, and free API access... not bad at all.

Simply put, I could not be any happier with my decision to use NameSilo. Their support is helpful, timely and friendly. NameSilo is a very welcome newcomer to the domain registration industry and I'm sure they'll be around for a long time with such a strong emphasis on customer service... and the pricing's great too!

Better pricing here. They don't seem to suck.. in fact, I would even say they are good at what they do. I guess that's about all I can ask.
