Your agent Angela at Cheaptickets was first-rate in handling my travel needs.I was only going fly from DTW/LGA/DTW but had to change my plans to another weekend.

She changed my reservation and applied the credit from the cancelled flight and billed my account for the diffrence.This was done in a extreamly friendly and efficient manner.

This employee is really an asset to Cheaptickets and the Orbits organization and should be reconized for it.

I had a rather stressful experience with Orbitz on my vacation to Cabo, i expressed by concerns and have been given compensation for my situation. I truly appreciate this and am very impressed with the customer service of these representatives.

I am very sorry this has taken so long but, I finally got a response on FB.

I had made reservations for several hotels on our 12 day trip. I unfortunately, in the rush, booked Burbank and Las Vegas on the same two days.

To make a long story short. The lady I got was just so sweet and assuring while dealing with the problem. She stayed on the phone until I got back to the counter. She went above and beyond what I think her job description is.

Needless to say I was extremely stressed being in LV and no place to stay. Again I can not stress how wonderful she was calming me down and handling the entire process.

The hotel was Harrah's Las Vegas, the date I spoke to the young lady was April 11, 2012. It was around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. The booking was for two nights. Unfortunately I do not have her name.
I hope you take the time to find out who she is and give her Kudo's and job well done from me.!

I had booked a package deal with Orbitz and needed to cancel my hotel, but not my flight. It didn't seem possible, but I called anyway, and customer service agent, Charlie, called the hotel directly and cancelled it with a full refund promised to me! I was shocked and amazed and am very happy with Orbitz and how they helped.

I spoke with Ronni today in customer service at Orbitz regarding a freudulent charge on my credit card. She was awesome! Fast, friendly, extremely helpful!I have never used Orbitz but plan to in the future. Thanks!

I called to get a name correction on my international flight. the customer service person explained the limitation to editing names and was able to cancel the one ticket to allow me to rebook with the correct name

okay it's me again, so i called my bank yesterday and indeed the charges did not fall off of 1848.dollars, so, I called orbitz, and I talked with Jeremiah, he was absolutely phenomenal!!!!we were on the phone for an hour but let me tell you,he would not give up til he fixed my issues!!!He called the airline and they put in a refund for the entire amount, pending for 5-10 days of course, but he was so genuinely concerned, unlike the others I spoke with, one problem I feel Orbitz should correct, if I press one for English I need to speak with a fluent,well spoken English person I can understand, the other people I spoke with got very upset with me because I could not understand their so- called ENGLISH, so I asked them to constantly repeat themselves, this so frustrating!! I felt like they just get tired of the English barrier and get you off the phone saying anything, but Jeremiah,he is so customer friendly, and very determined, I hope Orbitz knows this and recognizes his professionalism, after we see the refund I will be back to Orbitz, hopefully drama free..lol... unfortunately after all this my package we wanted is now over 900 dollars more than it was:( , back to searching!! I will re post after follow up. Thank you Lynne, for posting to my email as well.

I read about all of the negative reviews on here first, and called Orbitz with very low expectations, but decided to give it a chance, no less.

I called, waited for a moderate amount of time (20 minutes), and once answered, the representative took care of my cancellation request very promptly and politely. It was efficient, painless, and I was quite pleased to receive so much of a refund.

My suggestion to all:
-Call the Orbitz customer service number with an open mind first... you may be disappointed or you may be pleasantly surprised, but you should definitely stay positive and give it a fair shake.

I wrote about a complaint I had about a room that my sister booked in Baton Rouge thru Amtrak/Orbitz. We had booked a room with 2 queen size beds for 4 people and on arrival only had 1 queen. My sister and I slept on a loveseat and chair for 3 nights. We contacted Orbitz and with in a week our complaint was handled by Vikki and we were given a partial refund along with a comp. from Orbitz. So I have to thank Vikki once again for helping us with this problem. After reading about all the complaints on here I thought it only fair to say Orbitz treated us fairly and in a very quick manner.

I would like to express my thanks to Vicki from Orbitz. We were very disatisfied with a hotel we had booked. Vicki quickly resolved the issue and got us the refund she promised. I know there are a lot of negative comments on here about Orbitz, but I wanted to make sure to post this positive result. Thank you again Vicki.

I spoke to a friendly man in the Philippines - I always ask where people are speaking from - who helped me use a cancelled flight to pay for another flight in less than half an hour. The line was a bit crackly - but he was most helpful. Try calling in the evenings.

To Orbitz customer's service

To all my respect to Orbitz customer's service department Miss. Franchesca she assisted me to canceled my credit card error payment, which my Australia Commonwealth Bank, and Australian Travelport customer's service can not find out where went wrong with the payment, and also impatiently hung up on me before try to understand my request.

The error payment is 1648.05 USD, non of one company can find out my booking information and help me to cancel it, but Miss. Franchesca she patiently listened to me, with her wonderful understanding skills and under her assistant, she called the bank for me and canceled the payment successfully, it took her for 45 mins, and it was lunch time in America 12;40pm, 4;15am in Sydney, Australia, she is just amazing.

For recently all my bad experience to dealing with lazy and impatiently customer's service agent, I realized how important that to have a good customer's service agent in a such a big company like this.

To be honest, Australia customer's service is such a disappointment, and I am glad that America educated their service well, even though it is such a big country.

Thank you Franchesca, you helped a lot and I will always remember that you've taught me how great the America's customer's service is.

I was trying to book a flight for both me and a friend, and because the airline website was updating their prices and hadn't changed what they were reporting to Orbitz, I couldn't book my flight online.

However, when I called customer service, my representative (Claudia) was so helpful. I was looking at flights directly on the airline website (they were changing as we spoke!) while she was looking at flights too. She booked a flight for me, as well as for my friend, on our two separate credit cards. She was friendly and helpful for the entire half hour our transaction took, and I was very very pleased!

Lynn Napoleon in Customer Relations has resolved and restored our faith in Orbitz. We are very happy with the outcome of this and will continue to use Orbitz in the future. Hi,

I am one of Orbtiz irate customers during the weekend Irene 'visited' the atlantic coast. I was finally able to resolve my issue(change my travel date for a trip to South America) after about being on the telephone for a total of about 7 hours (first time for 2 hours 45 minutes).

While I still believe that Orbtiz's structure (# of available agents, open phone line, etc) to handle its customer load is patetic and requires major upgrade, I would like to state that I can't remember being treated in such a highly professional and respectful manner as I was treated by Orbtiz's agent that resolve my issue. Mind you, I wasn't in my best disposition after being on the phone for over 6 hours. He was extremely understanding, respectful, and tried to see things from my perspective. Better still, he was able to resolve my case with little cost to me. I have been using Orbtiz for over 10 years and I think I will continue to do so, notwithstanding my terrible experience during huricane Irene.

I am rating my last experience as Positive because of the agent that attended to my case (after been on hold for over six hours).

Some good people in USA helping you. Heavens forbid if you have to talk to a supervisor who resides in Philippines. It is a different world. Or I might have been unlucky getting hold of some one who did not want to help

I called to speak with a CS person about possibly booking a trip to Hawaii. I got connected with a female in the Kentucky office...I wish i remember her name, but it was not a common name. She was more than courteous and spent her time with me going over several options. I didn't like the price, but it was what I expected for what I had asked. I ended up booking my own trip through Orbitz a week later, but for a different trip to Hawaii than what I had called to speak about. I have nothing but good to say about my dealings with Orbitz so far and that's not to mention their online site is doing great and extremely easy to navigate.

I have to say I received some of the best customer service today. I made an error in my booking in Feb but did not catch it till now. The customer service supervisor Chris(67127) was fantastic. She spent two days talking with the airlines and looking at options to correct the problem. In the end the I was very satisfied with how it was resolved! THANKS CHRIS!!!!!

I selected Orbitz because I am a hadicapped customer and need wheelchair assistance. I have an injured lower back and was looking for a deal with shorter airport layovers.
I selected a flight itinery for 28th April,11 with Orbitz for a round trip flight from Phoenix to Penang, Malaysia which cost about USD70 more than the other flights deals because of the shorter airport layovers in Hong Kong and California.
I am very annoyed and upset that I ended up receiving 3 flight changes for Air Alaska, my connecting flight to Phoenix on my return flight. With each flight change, an hour of flight time was added to my itinery. From about a 4 hour layover in LA, the hours are now increased to about a 7 hour layover.
This will be my first and last experience with Obitz as my travel agent. The travel company should have given me fair warning of the unpredictibility and unreliability of Air Alaska before I purchased the tickets.
In my 25 years of constant international air travels with other travel agents and Singapore Airlines, I have NEVER experienced any itinery changes to my tickets.
If Orbitz does not come up with a better deal on my return trip in about a month's time, please do not waste my time with further emails for flight deals, offers and whatnots to get my money.
An irate and disappointed customer.

it only shows that customers booking online are not reading the rules and restrictions of the airlines upon booking a reservstion. i had a great experience booking with orbitz!

customers who are always complaining to orbitz are stupid. they don't know whats the process.

i will use orbitz in every flight that i have. customer service is so accomodating.

I will NEVER use orbitz again. There customer service department sucks. I tried booking a hotel through them entered my cc information, and hit submit came back and said error on pg not able to book hotel at this time please try again. I check my back acct and they had already deducted the money from my acct. I called and they said "check back later this afternoon, if its still there check tomorrow (today). check today and its still showing that it has been deducted. I called and she said "im sorry maam for in inconvience but it does take 3-10 business days for the money to go back in your acct." i said why wasnt i told that yesterday??? nothing to say from the rep except IM SORRY.....no you NEED to put that money in my acct.....needless to say i was able to call the HOTEL DIRECTLY and got a CHEAPER rate then what orbitz was offering!!! WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN! and i AM making one last call and MY money will be placed in my acct TODAY.
