I have been with PayPal for many years and I use them for two reasons.
Security of my credit card, and if I get ripped off which is the case here PAYPAL IS there to help me. But when I call PayPal I seem to always mostly get a young lady name "Rose" I believe she is over seas in another country. But she has to be one of the kindness, sweet, adorable young lady and I hope PayPal realizes what a gem they have working tor them.
When I call its for a problem I am having with a seller or my account. And she listens to every word you say and lets you vent and tell her what the problem is.
She never has lost her sweet voice and was ever rude to me. Like some I have dealt with. I just want to tell PayPal what a beautiful understanding and helpful employee they have working for them. I don't know this lady, but if I ever had the pleasure of meeting her, I would give her the biggest hug I can give. I am a women and we get into problems and I, at least, usually can pick out good people when I speak with them. She is the BEST. Absolutely the BEST person at PayPal.

Today I Had The Nicest Guy When I Called With My Problem Regarding My Paypal Account. He Solved The Problem (after 30 Minutes) Of Trying Different Options. His Name Was Justin 41220. He Never Lost Patience. He Is Definately An Asset To Paypal. Thanks Justin, Audrey Ballon

I am new at pay pal, since 2013.02.08, and my experience was terrible, someone tried to fraud me......now I am so afraid to open e-mails from pay pal that I cancelled everything.
But, thanks to you, everything is ok, I was able to speak to an agent fast and he gave me all the instructions to stop that fraud. I would have been better in french but no one was available.
Thank you pay pal!

My paypal account was frozen because it is linked to my father's account, which has a negative balance. I called at 10:30 am and I spoke to someone within 5-10 minutes. The man was very kind and wanted to help me resolve the issue. He told me the same thing happens to him as he also shares the same name as his father. He put me through to a limitations department person and they told me the only way I can restore my account is if my dad pays off his balance(which I think is unfair). However, I get an email at 1:23 pm that says that my account was restored. I received very good service.

hate to be the bump in the road, but I think Paypal is the greatest thing since sliced bread. They have covered my butt twice with chinesse SCAM artists. I figure that the extra protection PP gives is worth me purchasing thru them. The scamers wanted western union or bank transfer but did accept PP. Called PP and they assured me my purchase would be covered and so it was.Go PP and Thanks

This comment is intended to reach a supervisor named Aaron,
I'm writing this comment with the intention of sending my strongest possible 'KUDO' on behalf of a woman working at PayPal, named Michelle, who helped me with a problem I'm having with a company called 'blowitouttahere' from which I bought two separate Dr. Who DVD packages. The Deadly Assassin, which WAS received and The Image of the Fendahl, which was NOT. In fact, they sent a second package with a completely different DVD than the one I wanted, entitled Sea Prince and the Fire Child. All of this was related to the woman working at PayPal, and she was totally and completely capable of dealing with the problem, including the Claim which she initiated and the stoppage of the money, 20+ USD.
The company in question has already been sent TWO separate emails on the subject, and so far, no response.
I will keep an eye out for their response should they ever decide to send one.
If anyone at PayPal has ANY questions regarding finding a solution to this matter, and I certainly hope you or they do, kindly contact me.
Mr. Z.

I have used PayPal without incident for years, but recently I added my credit card, made it primary, then removed my bank account. Several purchases were made July and August, all with authorization, but I just found out PayPal charged them to my bank account, devastating it down to $11! I called them, requested they reverse the bank charges and reapply them to my credit card . . . they won't help. I closed my PayPal account and will never trust them again. Their error destroyed my bank account, and they won't admit it.

PayPal is not as bad as a lot of people in this forum are saying. I got paid; so I'm happy. I had to change the surname on my account; and I had to send in documents proving that I got married. That process was cumbersome; but how else would Pay Pal prevent someone from hijacking my Pay Pal account?

The young man who handled my call was great. Sorry I don't remember his name, but he was very good being that I was complaining (nicely) about the electronic statement policy. I don't want to receive my statements on line and if that means not having an account, SO BE IT!! Too much electronic jibber jabber.
A statement could be important and I don't want my personal information out there for some hacker to get.
I don't tweet, I'm not linked in and I would rather kiss off than "face up" on someone's "wallpaper" on face-book. So please accept this as a communication from one of your customers. I can't be the ONLY ONE!!
Thank you

Had to call Paypal twice in the last 2 weeks. The first call was less than stellar. The person wasn't rude, but not very friendly either. It only took me 15 minutes on the phone to figure out my problem. The second time was because of a dispute against me over an ebay purchase(wasn't my fault!!). Was so pleased to be connected to a rep immediately who helped me to resolve my issue right away. Very happy with the second call. Just wish it was easy to get the Customer Service number FROM THEM!

I called concerning a postage label I printed and was charged three times for. I was transferred three times but everyone was very nice. I did have a little trouble understanding the last person I spoke too but he was very nice. The first two girls I spoke with were extremely nice. I am disappointed though that it will take up to 15 days to get my money back. I think that is a little long. Holding someones money for a mistake not made by the seller seems a bit unfair.

Honestly, I am surprised to see PayPal on this website because it is so easy to find their number:
1. go to paypal.com
2. click on "contact us" (bottom of the page)
3. click on "call us"

viola! It's pretty simple when you know how to use a computer...or how to read.

I have been a PayPal customer for about 5 years now, both as a buyer and a seller, and I have never ever had a problem. Want to know why? I read the user agreement, I pay attention to the website options, I read the tips PayPal offers on their site, and I know how to use a computer. Quite frankly, PayPal is an amazing service that is very easy to use. The only reason a problem would ever be had with PayPal is due to the fact the users simply did not take the time to actually learn how to use it, or how to use a computer for that matter. Every time I've had to call in they answer immediately. If you know what the reason is that you are calling about, there will be no problem getting to the right department. Their customer service is impeccable and the agents will do everything they can to explain to you what is going on if you have any questions.

If you take your time to research how to use PayPal, and then also take the time to research who you are buying from (before you purchase the item, not after) then I can guarantee that you will not ever have an issue with PayPal or even NEED to call in. Due diligence is necessary in everything, seems like people tend to forget that.

Two thumbs way up for PayPal and their customer service!

I just called the PayPal customer number (888 221-1161) and was promptly given an answer to my question. The agent was knowledgable and polite. I am quite satisfied with PayPal.

I had to add a credit card to my account a couple of days ago,but the system didn't let me, because i messed it up a day before by deleting my account (thinking i wouldn't need paypal, i could use my card directly in shoppings, didn't work).I just sent an email regarding the problem (it was after midnight), and when i woke up in the morning i saw a response email with solution. It was resolved, perfect!
