I called the tech support this morning ad they answered it promptly. I was getting an error code 014 and when I reboot sometimes I got 011. The tech guy really is a great help in solving the problem. Is the tech support really from India? I don't think so. Hes has neutral accent and a so professional.

Although my credit card didn't go through (multiple cards actually), I didn't have to contact support. Signed in through paypal and the setup was very easy.

Was streaming a movie through Amazon in about 3 minutes after signing in Amazon with my Prime account.

My experience was good. Something I ordered was not in the box along with the rest of my order. I called and did not wait long to talk to a real person. The rep quickly understood what the problem was and made it right.

However, Roku sent instructions with the unit on how to hook up the system, which was very easy. But they failed to provide clear instructions on how to navigate the system. Some things are set up on the PC, some on the TV. It would have been a better experience if I didn't have to stumble through learning by trail and error, how to select channels and receive the programming I wanted. They should correct this oversight.

Great online customer service...no wait, focused and useful answers. I read all the negative and positive comments. Most of the negative comments seem to be from crazy whiners...people you could not please with a 'pleasing machine'.

Roku Customer Service
I called , and was lucky enough to be able to talk a fellow that is named Janani . He is so good at what he does , he should be teaching others how to treat call-in-customers .
He was patient , very polite , and super knowledgable .

Though he spoke with an accent , his words were very concise .

I sure hope that if I ever need to call Roku again , I could be lucky enough to have him take my call .

I had a very good experience with Roku customer service. I even accidentally sent them the wrong roku player and they found it and sent it back.

I purchased my ROKU to have the priced dropped just a week later. I contacted the customer service by phone and was promptly greeted by a kind agent. The agent listened to my explanation of the price change. He agreed I was due a refund for the difference in price. A few days later the refund appeared on my credit card. The agent was very helpful

Except for the long wait to talk to a real person, I was quite satisfied with customer service. The person with whom I spoke was very polite and quickly resolved my problem. I'd made an error in my on-line order and was advised to cancel the order and re-order with correct information. The confirmation email was not clear, so I hope the order was cancelled. I could not always understand the representative's accent, but she was patient with me!

I just had great customer service. Phone disconnected and they called right back. Very pleased. We have bought 3 of these for family and ourselves.

I have experienced very good customer service from them. Maybe there some posters who resent the outsourcing, but that's an issue for your elected "representatives." Vot out incumbents if you don't like the status quo. The service reps are unfailingly polite, and the ones with whom I've spoken spoke very good English.

I had the best customer service with Roku.
my box quit working i emailed them and they responded quickly then they sent me out a new box after a couple of trial things they wanted me to do to see what was going on with the box.. all sorted with a replacement within the week.
i dont know why some people are saying they have bad customer service i have NOT experienced that at all, they were very helpful and the process was quick and painless

I've had my Roku for awhile now, and I thought Roku has been very professional. I would tend to think that the holiday season has slowed up the mail. I too am waiting for a Roku delivery. (Christmas gift). I'd give them the benifit of the doubt and hang in there a bit. I know the 50% off offer on Black Friday really brought in a lot of business. Thats what the guy said when I called in my order.
