I bought a new lawnmower. One battery does not work. I have tried for 5 days to reach anyone at Ryobi. No luck. I've spent hours on the phone on hold, I've left call back numbers 3 days, used their chat feature 6 times, texted twice, and sent an email. Nothing has connected me to anyone. I can't believe how poor this service has been. I should have gone with Toro!

chainsaw doesnt run out of box.everything has been checked.on hold for 2 hrs with no answer yet.will return for credit and buy a stihl instead

Service? What service? I was on HOLD for 1-1/2 hours then clicked for a call-back. This is the 3rd time that I have called about the same issue & the first two, I was told that I'd receive a replacement in 8-12 days -- that DID NOT happen! I've now waited 22 days for a replacement 40-volt charger. The original charger generates sparks from the outlet -- a FIRE hazard. I'm currently on HOLD AGAIN -- with no option to call me back. I'm wondering if I should return ALL my Ryobi products.

Ryobi products suck I bought a set and my wife bought a set first week the flashlights in both sets went bad then fast forward a year and one of my batteries went bad fast forward another year now we are down five batteries. Two different sets bought from two different stores.

I tried calling two days in a row now on hold over an hour each time. Eventually hit the option for a call back but unfortunately missed the call each time they called back. I literally just tried calling back at 5:15pm which the message says normal business hours are open until 6pm but once I hit option to speak with customer service rep it now says call back during normal business hours. I will never buy an ryobi product again especially when customer service sucks and is just non existed! I guess they decided to leave early or just shut their phones off.

I called for help from Ryobi with my lawn mower. I was sent to a site that was going to charge $45.oo a month until I stopped using their service. I think this is very shabby service.

Ryobi offers different ways to contact them: phone, text message, chat, return phone call and messaging through their website. Sounds great but I haven't been able to get in touch with them at all. Phone: I gave up after being on hold for over one hour. pressed the option for „call me back" - they never called me. Chat: nothing happened when clicking the button. Contact us page: after filling out the form, entering the serial number and writing the message, I clicked the submit button and the results was that a blank form popped up, like when I started. Text message: I wrote a text message, submitted it and received an instant response- from a robot ? „What is the order number?" my answer: „this is not about an order, this is about a warranty issue" - again: „What is the order number?" - „I didn't order this, it was an instore purchase at Home Depot,". - What is the order number?"
Ryobi obviously doesn't want to communicate with its customers. When I talked to Home Depot it was: „You have to contact Ryobi". 3 years warranty are worthless if a customer is unable to contact the company.

Ryobi/home depot service dept gave me a call bCk number that is not in service. Ryobi leaf blower needs second warranty repair for the same complaint.

So disappointed. I have several Ryobi products and loved them. Decided to buy a mower for $850. Handle cracked right away. When I called customer service I was told they had no authorized repair places in or near St. Louis. I would need to pay and ship this 80# mower to get it repaired. The reason I bought it was because I am older and handicapped and this would allow me to mow for a while longer. Besides the cost, I cannot physically box it up and ship it. So basically the 5 year warranty is worthless and yet Home Depot continues to sell Ryobi products. Very misleading.

I bought Ryobi Chargers and dual Chargers put the battery on there and when it's fully dead takes about 5 minutes it says it's charged it's not charged I brand new batteries that are ruined because of it I called customer service try to get somebody on the line guess what it's going to be 108 minutes before I can talk to somebody that is b******* I give Ryobi a negative 10 on these items

Very disappointed with ryobi customer service! They have an overall decent product line but customer service and replacement parts availability is the worst! Absolutely abysmal! I've decided to replace all of my business's power products with a different brand. Too difficult to get any kind of service satisfaction from ryobi. At least 90 minutes wait time on phone, texting and "chat"customer service is a bot -no help at all, and NO-ONE returns emails,Don't waste your time & money... at some point you will need customer support..and you won't get any .

I am in desperate need of some help with an issue that has been going on for 2 years. I'm getting no customer service whatsoever and this issue needs to be resolved. I purchased a Ryobi riding mower which was under the Ryobi warranty when I took it to Home Depot (Store 0144) the first time on 5/23/21. The mower looked almost brand new and the only issue was the blades wouldn't engage. The shop took 4 months to get the mower back to me. I, of course, had to buy a push mower so I could mow my lawn for those 4 months. When it came back there was oil all over the batteries, pooled under the batteries and all over the back of the mower. This mower doesn't take oil. The manager said another tool broke on top of it and all of the oil spilled on my mower. Not only that, whoever packed the truck, piled stuff on top of the mower which may or may not have been the reason why one tire was broken off and the half inch thick piece of metal on the back of the mower was bent down. I know this because one of the managers took pictures when he was unloading the truck because of how ridiculous it was and showed it to me.

I had the mower sent back to fix the new issues that occurred when the mower was in Home Depot's possession. After another 3+ months at the shop it was returned. The oil was still exactly where it was previously. Nothing was cleaned up whatsoever. The back metal piece was still bent and had paint chipped off of it. The wheel was still broken off. This time the mechanic at home depot put the wheel back on in front of me and pumped it back up. I drove it in the parking lot and it was significantly slower than normal. Maybe this was from the oil spilled on the batteries but I don't know. I'm not sure what was done in the 3+ months it was at the shop since nothing was touched, but it was sent back again.

This is the 3rd trip to the shop. Again, after 3+ months it was returned to me. The home depot employee took me to the outdoor section to check it out. It was filthy. The seat was disgusting and the entire mower was coated with dust and some kind of black dirt. We had to get a rag to clean the seat off just to sit down. Once again, the oil was STILL not cleaned up. The back metal piece was still bent. This time all 4 wheels were flat. I did not bother driving it since nothing was done once again. Again, I'm not sure what they did to the mower for that amount of time. It was sent back again for its 4th visit to the shop.

3+ months later I am contacting Home Depot to see why the mower hasn't been returned yet. They said the transport company lost the mower. Another month went by and it was found inside one of their trailers and delivered back to home depot. It was in the same nasty, dirty condition with nothing done AGAIN. One of the managers and an employee in the tool rental area told me the mower is unrepairable. I contacted Ryobi and they will not help even though it's under their warranty. The new store manager, Zack Tithof, called me and said he was going to get this issue resolved. It was no longer under the Ryobi warranty since the shop had it for a total of 14 months so far. He sent me to Asurion since I purchased an extended warranty. Asurion wanted to send it to the shop to repair it even though it was deemed unrepairable. The shop picked the mower up and kept it for about a month before bringing it back. They said the last shop it was sent to had all the wiring underneath messed up. The mower would not go up a small hill when it was returned to me. Nothing was repaired and it was even slower and less powerful than before. The shop took it for the second time. The store manager, Zack Tithof, e-mails me that 2 of the batteries need to be replaced and that's not covered under the extended warranty. I reminded him that oil was dripped and pooled all over the batteries and that is probably what caused the batteries to be defective. He said there was no evidence of the oil causing the batteries to die.It is from wear and tear.

So, the mower was originally sent to the shop looking almost new with just an issue with the blades not engaging and running fast and powerful like it should be. It is now filthy, dirty, damaged and 2 batteries dead from "Wear and Tear". I haven't had the mower in 2 years and the batteries were perfectly fine when I first sent the mower to the shop. The shop must have been casing the wear and tear on the batteries and there's no way to tell if the oil did not affect the batteries. Zack Tithof is offering me $200 for the cosmetic damages and its being returned to me not working. This isn't how Home Depot treats its customers. I am a huge Home Depot supporter but this is not fair. I've been extremely patient and reasonable over these 2 years and just want a fair resolution. I will never buy another riding mower from Ryobi given the way I've been treated.

Purchased an electric RYOBI lawn mover on 8/23/22 from Home Depot in Albuquerque,NM. Used it 11 times til winter came. Tried to start to mow yard last week and wouldn't start.

Got no satisfaction from Home Depot. No return calls from either Home Depot or RYOBI. Days later received an email from RYOBI stating closest service center is Clovis NM. That's approximately 4 hours away from Albuquerque. And they said I would have to pay shipping for a 30+ lb lawn mower. It will go in the trash as that is what a RYOBI electric lawn mower is - trash!!!!!

One+ Drill & Driver. WHY would Ryobi put out a new model that is missing some of the most important and innovated features? One, the clip to hold driver bits at the bottom. Two, and best of all, the MAGNET! The magnet was a game changer for someone like me who hadn't purchased new tools since 2006.

I love the mower. However, the batterie issue is bad.Roybi said they were sending replacement batteries March 3,2023. I have checked on the chatting and live phone call. I was given the story I can't track it until it ships. Now, it is the 23rd and the order can't be found. So they say they are sending them again. So disappointing

My Ryobi drill peel as I drill. It has no ability to do grasp the screw at all. It's nothing but hard plastic. I want to know if you have metal replacement for the drill bits

I have been going through a very frustrating situation with Home Depot/Ryobi for about 2 years now. I am at the point where I am contacting different social media accounts who review tools and seeing if they want to shed some light on my issue. While under the original Ryobi Manufacturer's warranty, my Ryobi Electric riding lawn mower blades stopped spinning. After speaking to Ryobi on the phone, they told me to take it to my local home depot. I did take it there and they refused to take it. I had to take the mower there a total of 3 times and had to have a ryobi representative on the phone just to get them to take the mower. It was then sent off to a 3rd party repair shop to fix the blade issue. It took over 3 months to come back. When it arrived, there was oil on the back of the mower, pooled inside the battery tray, and all over the batteries. Keep in mind this is an electric riding mower so there is no oil involved. Also, the thick back plate where a trailer can attach to was bent downwards and all the paint was stripped off of it. On top of that, the mower was about 50% slower than previously and would barely go up a hill. I took it back to home depot the same day to show them all of the issues. A manager showed me pictures of the trailer and the transporting company decided to pile loads of heavy items on top of the mower to get everything to fit inside 1 trailer. The oil was from another tool that was repaired that broke during transport and was sitting on top of my mower. They sent the mower back to the shop. It took another 3-4 months to get it back, of course. Once it came back, the oil was still there. It wasn't even wiped off. The back piece was still bent. The speed was the same. My question was...did they even touch it?? This time one of the front wheels came off the mower while it was being moved outside by one of the home depot employees. So, maybe more damage was done from the previous trip to the shop. Anyways home depot sent it back to the shop. This is it's third visit to the same shop.

Mower not even a year old yet broke down. Have to drive over 1 hour to get it fixed. This means almost a 3 hour drive, only to return to pick up product when it is ready

Bought a Ryobi mower and a weedwacker. Weedwacker lasted on season and then had problems. Mower was done within three uses. They know their products suck and so they do not spend much time on customer service. Their repair shops arent even real places. I think the big box stores should share some blame as they continue to sell their products. Just threw both out; garbage.
