Home depot will no longer work on their garbage Ryobi products!! Nearest service center 5 to 6 hours away. Customer service is non existent! Pencil pushers at best. Finally got a Customer service supervisor that could not send a viable link for a survey. That was after being on hold for 1 &1/2 hours!! Will not shop @home depot again or buy there products!!

Hold time is unbelievable and when you select call back your not contacted until the next day. Finally got a rep. that gave me a customer number to go on line to request replacement. Having a difficult time with the online process. I feel as though the rep should have placed the order.

Worse service ever received paid for goods on the 28th April. When we had received nothing after a month we rang and were told our order had been lost in the system and they would have to refund us and then we would have to place the order again. Now the 15th June and despite many phone calls still no refund.every time we ring we are told the refund will be in our bank in 3-5 days.

I have a Ryobi 18 volt charger that caught fire a almost burn down my house.
I am looking for someone to contact me. I would like to summit pictures and find out what I can do about this. This is very dangerous and something needs to be done to correct this problem.

Ryobi sucks!!!socks!!!! I tried to get my product fixed under warranty and I went to the place they said they deal with but that company said they don't deal with ryobi because of how low they pay them. Now I'm sitting here for over an hour trying to get ahold of them!!! This is bull!

Bad, Bad, Bad!
Trying to find parts for a bench grinder. Should be easy enough right?
To send an email to Ryobi Canada, I've got to 'sign up'! Are you kidding me? I've got to sign up so I can receive their promotional materials and spam in my email. Very, very poor customer service. Ryobi - Run away! Don't look back. There's plenty of competition out there that still values customer service.

i've tried contacting ryobi to help with battery compatibility; i've been on phone hold for 55 minutes, had 7 chat sessions with a robot disconnect, and waiting for 45 mins for an Agent to connect via text chat

all assistance with compatibility online does not address my question

I had called customer service for support on a product that was not listed on the warranty registration site as it directed. When finally someone answer I was asked if I had an account and then what was my name followed by being placed on hold again with the same automated answering service stating that I would be taken care of as soon as there was a customer service representative available. After waiting another 30 minutes or so I gave up. What kind of customer service is this and the representative was totally un-professional in what she did.

My 1 year old 40 volt mower died. Took it to service centre in Toronto. They said it would be 5 to 6 weeks before ryobi would send a replacement. What kind of service is this.

On never-ending hold with "customer service". There isn't such a thing as Ryobi Customer Service. The music sounds like what is played in the hours prior to the start of a funeral service. Which is appropriate given their products are dead.

On hold forever. But they have very calming soothing music on hold. I have it memorized by now!!

June of 2022 we purchased a lawnmower battery operated from Home Depot, this year while cutting the grass it just stopped, there was nothing wrong with the batteries and when we tried to get in touch with Ryobi we sat on hold for 45 min, the person who answered the phone was totally uninterested in what we were having trouble with or answering any of our questions, he just said take it to Corr in Carp. When we called Corr, the person there couldn't have cared less and said "listen lady, I already have 25 of them here to fix and it will take at least a month to get the needed part". We again tried to call customer service and sat on hold for an hour and a half without anyone ever answering the phone. If there are this many units with the same problem something needs to done for the customers suffering from this problem

I am the owner of a Ryobi zero turn electric lawnmower. I needed to replace a rear wheel recently. I went to my local mower repair shop to order one. His past experience w/ Ryobi was not good but he said that he would try to order one for me. Several days later after leaving messages w/ them he finally was able to order the wheel. several days later the wheel was delivered. It was the wrong size. He calls them back and leaves a msg. In the mean time I try to order the part myself. After a long time waiting on the phone I spoke to a person who at first said that no results were found in her search. After I insisted on a further search she was able to locate the wheel. I wanted her to verify the wheel size before ordering which she could not do. She transfered my call to an "expert" & I wound up back on hold for a long time. I finally gave up in frustration.

After reading some of the comments from other people. Totally agree. I have been on hold for over 1 1/2 hours waiting for customer service. I also tried the Chat and they just put me in limbo on that as well. What! Do they only have one customer service agent. This is the second time I have had to call. My 18v battery stopped charging and they sent me a replacement. I'm lucky to get 15 minutes out of the new one. Now my 40v for the lawn mower doesn't even last 15 minutes and is taking hours to charge. Won't be buying Ryobi again.

Purchased a 40 volt lawnmower less than 2 years ago, so far the handle locking mechanism has failed, the front wheel have bent out and the charger has disabled three of batteries , batteries and charger have been stored indoors properly charged ,very disappointing product. To add injury to insult trying to get them to warranty the product is next to impossible because nobody answers the phone at the Ryobi help line.Home Depot will be there to take the money and the box says three warranty for electronics and 5 years for the lawnmower but only stand behind it for 90 days. Typical corporate behavior to dissuade customers from getting what's promised without a hassle

I feel that I was ripped off by your call center today. I called about a bad battery. She first told me that my battery was a 2021 battery and was within the 3 year warranty period . Then ask me for my receipt when I told her that I no longer had it all of a sudden my battery changed to a 2018 model out of date. So I saved all the screen shots of the text . I will be posting on Facebook Twitter and Google the text and how I feel that you ripped me off. Sorry service.

I am so disappointed in the company.. I thought they had a reputable business, but the customer service is horrendous to say the least! I have a few products with the lawnmower - battery operated is the pits! The battery doesn't last more than 20 minutes - continuously shut off and on. I thought by buyingAnother battery would resolve the problem but the issues still continue.Reach any customer service representative -well that's a joke!I've already called at least three times and waited at least an hour for each representative to pick up the phone and stillnothing! If you have zero stars would be appropriate?

I wish I had checked out this forum a couple of years ago when I regrettably purchased my Ryobi pressure washer. The only thing worse than the quality of the washer, which crapped out after 3 uses, is the quality of their customer service. As I type this I have been on hold 2 hours 12 minutes and counting. Finally, after 2 hrs 15 minutes a patient gentleman came on the line to explain that yes, my product is under warranty. And all I have to do is get it to a service center, the closest of which is about 35 miles away. Yeah, no. I'll just toss in the the garbage and be sure to never buy another Ryobi product again.

The worst customer service I have ever felt with. Missing parts on my miter saw stand on hold for 2 hrs the first time and over a hour the second time. Going to have to buy the missing part.

On hold on 2 separate days for over an hour each time. Totally unacceptable.
Tried the on line chat and they wanted me to pay $5 and join a group to talk to the "expert". Totally unacceptable.
I doubt very much if I will ever buy another Ryobi tool if I can not talk free to an "expert" or have them answer the phone.
Very disappointing

I have dealt with some poor customer service in my life but Ryobi is the worst. I have spent hours on every possible way to discuss my problems with your company without success. No one will respond! Chat, email, text or phone call. Unbelievable. Everything I own is Ryobi so thank God i haven't had many problems.

I purchased a royobi 30" riding lawn mower about a year ago. Worked great first season, but now I can't get it to charge. Royobi has contacted me through email and finally said there aren't many places to work on it in my area. Won't call do I can talk to them, only email. I've had other royobi products in the past and they're all a piece of crap. Will never buy another one of their products as long as I live. Advise everyone else to do the same!!!!!!!

Brand new Ryobi 20" brushless 60v blades won't engage. Called Ryobi customer support two days, requested s call back due to "longer than normal wait time", have yet to receive s call back and now am currently on hold for over an hour and counting ... WORTHLESS PIECE OF POORLY MADE PLASTIC. I will never purchase another Ryobi product.

Ryobi products suck and stay as far away as you can from them. Nobody answers the phones to help you. Their hours do not benefit the working people. I'm pissed as I have been trying to get the stupid lawn mower to start for two weeks now and they do not answer their phone. What a waste of money
