Ryobi customer service was terrible. Makes me re- think buying their products. Got an order incorrect missing a tool. I called their number and after a long hold time I got someone named sariza. She was rude and kept telling me that I needed to provide her the serial number for a tool I never received. How the hell do I provide that info when I didn't get it? She was so rude I hung up on her after telling her she sucked. Then when I tried to call back after cooling off, I was on hold over 2 and a half hours. I finally gave up. I will no longer buy their tools specifically due to the poorest customer service I have ever received. Terrible terrible terrible. Home Depot needs to re-think their partnership with this crappy company.

I've been trying for two days to talk with customer service about a Ryobi 18 volt battery still under warranty and have been unsuccessful. tried texting as well as going on line and have gotten no help . Why have a service if no one is available to help not going to buy Ryobi again if this is the service

Chatted with Ryobi customer service regarding parts and service center problems. Agent didn't seem interested in assisting me or trying to resolve problem. Service center has been trying to get parts (which they are being told won't be available until Oct or Nov) or warranty replacement authorization. Customer Service agent dumped problem back to service center.

Customer service ..... well, being on hold over 45 minutes, still can't get a human ... so went on line , live chat ... ya get a bot that cannot possibly answer your needs ... tried the text thing ... same prompts as on line . Idk ... own a lot of ryobi 18v tools ... but not getting a rep on the line to answer simple questions & assistance regarding a circular saw with less than a years limited use ... not good business ....imho . Finally just gave up & gave the re ordinary my cell number so a " representative " can call me back ...lol. ain't holding my breath ...see if I get a call back. Regardless think changing my stuff overto Dewalt after this

Very poor customer service - The extension pole to my OPT 1845 was faulty I sent a fasebook message and was advised to phone 01628894400 which I did and 61 minutes latter I gave up and found the UKs MD email [email protected]. I explaine that I originally wanted a replacement but now wish to take up my leagle option of canceling the order and geting a full refund within 14 days - I am awaiting to see what happens but all I would say is KEEP AWAY FROM THESE SHYSTERS as they have not got the time to look after customers!

Ryobi cordless lawn and garden tools are fantastic !! I had an issue with my 40v lawnmower. Called Ryobi they redirected me to Ace Parts and Service Depot 416 652 0265.The girl(Julia) who answered phone was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went step by step instructions over the phone with me. It was me, that did not extend the handles to start the machine. Reading this negative reviews, to help other consumers, I suggest you call the service center. They also handle parts and do repairs in shop. I am glad, that I purchased a Ryobi product. I am put this POSITIVE comment into the negative comment section, just so other consumers with Ryobi products have the contact name of the service center and phone number

Based on the negative comments I read, I will probably regret buying the same lawnmower again, but I really needed to mow the lawn. The power assist on my lawnmower stopped working and I had the same problems as stated in almost all reviews above. When I complained that there was no repair shop in my city, Home Depot gave me a 10% discount on a new one. When I got home and took it out of box, I was disappointed because the battery was heavier than before and the plastic cover for the compartment that holds the battery was not very sturdy. I think it could break easily. Looks like the mower is a little wider too. For me, bigger and heavier is not better. I am a 79 year old widow. I thought I was getting the same mower that I had before. Looks like the materials used are cheaper. I have 90 days and will return to Home Depot at the first hint of something going wrong. Shame on you, Ryobi.

I have enjoyed my Ryobi power assist lawn mower. Home Depot said there was a 5 year warranty which I paid for. After 4 years however, the power assist stopped working. When I took the mower back to Home Depot for repair, they informed me they had eliminated the repair service and gave me a telephone number to find a repair shop. I found out that there was no repair shop in my city, the closest being 25 miles away. Since I am 79 years old living alone and do not travel on highways, I am stuck with this broken machine. So disappointed in Ryobi. I was never able to actually talk to a Ryobi rep when I called and "chat" had no response. I miss human to human contact. It was so much more efficient. Bottom line: Ryobi needs to improve their customer care.

Hello.i was letting you know I have used ryobi tools.for ever. Love them .but today they failed me 2 drills 1 saw and impact they where only around 5 mth old . They where working great then started smoking and burned up really quick. I've had some batteries go out but that is ok but never a tool .

Deceptive trading practice. If people have to pay for the labor to change the part - tell them the warranty is not free! You say my warranty is voided if I fix it, so I must take it to a store 50miles away who will charge me $40 to "diagnose" the broken handle of the fake battery lawnmower you peddle. SHAME ON YOU RYOBI! I have learned! Never again!!!!

Love the 20 inch mower but waiting 5 weeks for parts on a 1 year old mower is ridiculous. If the can't fix it replace it

This is a review on a product. A weed eater. I absolutely loved it until I had to change the string or pull out the battery. Did I mention I'm a woman? What Ryobi should do is put warnings on their labels. NOT FEMALE FRIENDLY!! The head was impossible to get off unless you have male upper body strength or are a very strong female. This is my fourth weed eater and I have NEVER had one that was so impossible for me to change the string. I had to call a friend over and he had a hard time getting it changed. This is a design flaw and your team was completely thoughtless to the females in designing it. Do you want women to buy your products? Then get one on your team and listen to her input because you obviously are not. I have a huge yard so I'm not just weed eating a few feet and I need to be able to depend on the equipment I buy. Yours isn't cheap and that's okay but how about keeping half of the world's population in mind the next time you design one of these. Not angry just annoyed. You guys should have figured out by now that it's not just men buying your equipment.

Bad service from home depot, send me to a repair shop, they don't fix batteries operated lawn mower, ryobi customer service are clueless, the wait time is really bad, expect to wait about a hour.

Defective string trimmer that everyone seems to have an issue with. Their customer service takes WEEKS to respond to each email. I've been waiting for a resolution for almost 7 weeks.

Bought a #Ryobi chainsaw from @homedepot. Battery was Dead on Arrival and will not take a charge. Processed a warranty claim in early April. Received a reply that a replacement battery was being processed. It's now 1 day from July... no replacement battery... order still being processed is what I am told. Not a good experience.

Bought Ryobi weed eater #1, 40v battery, under warranty and the "chip" inside quit working, the entire motor unit got hot burned my arm and almost caught on fire. Contacted Ryobi about their weed eater and found out from speaking with the service centers 200 miles away that Ryobi will frustrate you to the point that you will go out and buy another one of these. My daughter bought weed eater #2 and re-threading the unit and turning to suck the Lon thread into the head, I spent well over an hour to get this unit to work. I had to contact an attorney for the burn on my arm from weed eater #1 and all Ryobi tells me is to pay $5 (refundable) to speak with an online repair shop. I wouldn't buy anything Ryobi again. This crap has burned my arm and doesn't work. Ryobi REFUSES to honor their warranty. The one in charge lives in Hong Kong and doesn't give a damn!!

Bought a Ryobi self propelled mower on 4/20/21 2 years ago and the self propel no longer works. I went to Home Depot and they said. contact Ryobi and no luck there! What a joke. This junk was expensive and I will never by one of there products again if they give you the runaround on who to call sorry can't help you. Don't buy there product they don't stand by it

I've been on hold trying to speak with someone about ordering a replacement part for two hours.

Purchased a Ryobi ONE+ Garden Strimmer, only to find that the battery from by Ryobi ONE+ drill and Ryobi ONE+ Leaf Blower won't fit it.

So why is it called a ONE+ system when the battery does not fit all products?
