Singtel is just the worse telco ever.. my outstanding is SGD 216. Called them to reconnect and they said i have to pay full. Told them i can pay SGD 100 in 5 days extension and the balance by end of the month when I got my pay but they refused my extension. I thought okay then just live without tv and wifi till end month and pay the balance. However to my shocked before end month I was suddenly slammed from SGD216 to SGD1777!!! Indicated there that I requested for early termination whereby we never even ask for early termination.. Singtel is the worse ever!! we live paycheck to paycheck and from an amount we can afford to pay they pushed up to SGD 1k!!!
Yesterday I went to clementi mall singtel retailer shop to get the free 5G slim card for my recontact package after they did not call me to arrange the delivery date. The fat guy told me that my present 4G card also can be use. Then, I told him that the digital service centre send me the sms for collection. Then he unhappy to process it after after I question him. His attitude is really put the customer off. I will not come back to singtel retailer shop @ clementi again. I hope you educated him. When I went in a lady staff was happily enjoying serving her hp ,try to ignore me too. Pls educated them.
I would like to make a complaint regarding a sale person (Jurong Point Outlet, Stephanie) Tried explaining my situation and sale person Stephanie was inconsiderate and rude, not close to helpful. How can you expect a 74 year old woman write a letter? She didn't listen to me out fully and come to a consultation straight up without considering and understanding a customer problem. Wasted my time coming down and barely got serve for 5mins, asked for another alternative yet her demanding service wasn't close to helpful. Bad experience.
Absolutely rubbish! Internet down and expect customers to check this and that while they are giving instructions on the phone... you paying me salary to sort out YOUR technical issue or what? Worse still their guy came... told me i need to change my router which was just replaced 1 month ago... got the internet working for it to crash 1 hour later... and they shut customer service calls after that...dirty tactics!
Takes forever to get something done, but in the end still cannot do it.
I got charged for roaming when i never used any, contacted Singtel 1 month ago through their app, they say they will check, and will waive on the next bill if theres little to no usage as my roaming was still activated [Red flag: why would they bill me ald if it is still "activated"?]
On the next bill, i do not see any waiver, so i contacted them again. And they will check. Each check they do takes about 40 mins. and i've waited on the chat for at least 2 hrs, and in the end, they say it cannot be waived as "it can only be waived if there was no usage detected" So i ask how much was used, when i clearly did not use any. In the end, after much pestering on my side, they completely ignore me.
How can a customer support ignore the customer?
Worst and terrible customer service. Call multi time, couldn't get on any customer service. When required call back services, due to outsourcing third world country, terrible, terrible. Put you on hold for 30 mins after line cut off for twice. one of them don't even know 1688 singet number, tell me got to call single customer service which I ask him, aren't you Singtel customer service? ... Total no way getting help.. definitely cancel after contract expires. Terrible, bad service among local three operator.
Was today14/12/2023 at comcentre 10.45am enquiring on a billing with a queue no E1003 n was told I'm next . However , there were about 6 customers who came in later but served . I enquired with the Q no. Issuer staff n was told the c&E alternates . But it doesn't seem tat way as more C got over my E queue no.
I went to seek the Issuer assistance n he told me he will get it expedited . I hv been there 3 times Tis year n I see customers took a very long time in the cubicles . However , there were about 4 Queue no. Issuers at the entrance n it seem more than required . Nowadays , even banks are multi tasking . Singtel should look into the system to provide more efficient service n provide manpower to serve the public n ensure customers do not wait for too long to be served . My Enquiry only took less than 10 mins but my waiting time 45 mins when I'm told I'm next on the queue when I stepped in ?
Hi , recently I have bad experiences with Singtel. I asked for early bird WC package and was not given. Later I found out that it was because of an agreement to sign up on 2G fibre which was supposed to be installed on 24th Nov hinders my purchase of WC package before 6 Nov. Called to hotline and was not responded. I cancelled my 2G Fibre installation as I do not get my WC package. Now suddenly I received a new contract for my original fibre and all system go hay wires.. I kids got their data of 60G exceeding... due house wifi suddenly have technical glitch and my Singtel apps on customer service facing rejection from corresponding. I think someone is sabotaging Singtel, instead of improving your services, there are abuse action taken on your system. 1. The WC contract should be irrelevant to whatever upgrade yr customer wishes to pay for. 2. The service of your 3rd party is not acceptable, I called for early package of WC way before the 6th Nov and no one came back to the customer. 3.The system starts to go haywire in my house, creating data overload of my mobile phone 98906005, which in the morning , it was 40Gb in the morning and evening indicates exceeding 11G data, another number 85752252, suddenly almost reached 60Gb , and We have to purchase additional SIM card with number 98995353. We also purchase another SIM card for 98906005. Let me know what Singtel will be doing, if there is any mutual agreement to break our contract , let me know too. I have been with Singtel for more than 20 years. These thing never happen, I strongly suggest your review I process . Else loyal customer like me will seek other operators
Highly inefficient online service and disappointing service quality
Applied for a new phone number and broadband for my fiancee and new home. Huge regret going to Singtel Online shop to get it. The online shopping experience was very frustrating. Poorly designed interface and non-customer oriented service. The efficiency of online sales and delivery was so poor that I would rather go to a retail shop and get a SIM card. The broadband application mysteriously had an error, and when called for technical support, the male customer service officer with a weird accent was very nonchalant and just told me it was ok, just wait. It was only later when I got to another customer service officer that she could finally identify the application was not picked up and provided necessary help (I was on the line for 1 hour, 3 customer service officers, before someone actually could solve my problem).
While I believe there are staff in Singtel that are committed to better service, the overall experience with Singtel is hugely disappointing. Lousy service and efficiency in general for our homegrown business. I guess complacency has put Singtel off the believe that they need to serve customers.
Singtel charged me, without informing me for months, of overseas calls I was making. I was under the impression that I was using my US-based esim for the calls. I might have been mistaken but regardless, I should have been g*d d*mned informed that they were charging me hundreds of dollars for the call. I am charged $534 in total for about 2 hours of calls spread over 2 months and not once did I get an SMS informing me of this. Dealing with their barely existent customer support is awful. They are so opaque and you can't get referred to anyone else. I have been with this company since I was a child and I cannot believe how they treat their customers.
Unbelievably poor service - the online menus in computer and mobile apps are totally ineffective and poorly designed without understanding customers' requirements. The 1688 number will lead you all over the place but doesn't solve your problem. The customer service will put on hold for a long while and there is nothing you can do. There is no service to speak off. This is an embarrassment for a Singapore home-grown company. I am moving my business elsewhere.
Terrible Singtel customer service. I'm want someone to solve my problem, don't use your scripts to answer my questions, don't keep on said sorry but problem never solve. Such a big company but pathetic system. I will terminate my contract and never ever use singtel again!
Lazy customer service. No service on sunday. Difficult to understand the coversation of filiphinos operator. Twisted tounge. Late response, let the customers hold the call for so long. Chat section on the apps don't help at all. Overall....Singtel are lazy.
Hi I arrived at Sintel Comcenter at around 11.30 am on Sun 23 Oct 22 (queue number S3010). I would like to complaint about Navibder who while we were waiting for W number, he entertained someone else first. When I confronted him, he did not only apologize but said he will entertain the one who came first, when the other customer has just reversed. Firstly, there should be a systematic instead of arbitrary determination of staff of whom came first, and secondly the staff attitude that he can determine what he wants. Please have a more a more orderly Q and more friendly staff. This episode detracts from a pleasant customer experience for me ! I would appreciate if Singtel could prevent such instances.
