I was at your Visalia store on Mooney Blvd. Two of the staff were not masted at all, one staff had a mask only on his mouth. There is a California mask mandate in effect. This defies logic. This is bad business!

You never get the advertised price every time I go over there I see something and that's advertised then I go purchase it and it's always charging me full price you guys do that on a lot of items all the time I don't know how many times I had to correct them and tell him look at the price now I got to go around take photos of the prices cuz they don't ever give them to you they nickel dying me all the time a dollar here $2 there a Dollar there just tired of it not coming back ever again

Several times have gone to the Rancho San Diego Store in Spring Valley at 445 to 515pm and most of the time they do not have any roasted chickens ready, what is this, people get off of work that want a chicken, this is such bad customer service, what are you thinking or do you not care, if it were my store you bet I would have chickens ready for my customers ready to go, ut not you, really, how sad, I think we will go to Vons or Albertsons from now on.

Wonder why management allows employee to park and store his orange dodge charger to be stored on property (2 years) can I store my car on your lot 24 hrs a day. WOW. Do your job cooperate.

My EBT card has been freezing up registers at a LB Ca. Smart and Final Extra. Twice this week. The clerks are very sweet, but the manager said it was my card, which is not true. This could be a hardship to someone who believed that to be true. Please tell managers not to make a blanket statement and freak people out.

The smart n final on Freeport blvd in south sacramento have
Rude employees , very unprofessional , they all walk around with attitude towards vendors bringing there store products, , They need to fire and hire a few of the girls in produce , they are snobby
And unhelpful , I will never go to that store ever again, because of the rude comments a girl named Sandra made to me and my daughter !!!

I shopped at the smart and final in Milpitas today. At checkout, the clerk never even acknowledged that I was there, she just started scanning my goods, never looked up at me, didn't ask if I needed a bag, nothing. The reason for her behavior was noticed even while she was helping (or lack of helping) the customer before me. SHE WAS ON THE PHONE THE WHOLE TIME!!! She wasn't holding her phone, she had ear buds on, so I guess she thought it was ok to ignore her customers while working. She clearly was the most disrespectful clerk I have ever encountered. This was clearly a first for me to have a clerk talking on the phone the entire time she was helping me and many others for that matter. Her name tag said Niesha or something like that

I asked the checkout women to bag the hot chicken in a separate bag.
So she shoves my cheese block right up against the hot chicken. so I move the cold cheese away from the hot chicken. And then the checkout lady yells at me and says I know what I'm doing thank you sir!!! I said to her I'm just separating my cold food from the hot food. And she then bags my hot chicken upside down in bag so the juice runs out inside bag. I didn't find out till I got home. What a Witch!!!

So my complaint is on a individual employee at the Tulare California location her name is Lupe that is all I know I do not know her last name she is a neighbor of mine and I'm sure you guys would like to know that her and her husband have been verbally and physically abusing my children because they feel that my eight year old son it's too rough with their son so they think that it's okay to call an 8 year old child a fat ass and a little b**** I have called the police on them twice I have to police reports Tubac this up Lupe has put her hands on my 12 year old daughter and my fifteen-year-old daughter yes we got into a physical altercation but her hands were put on my children at opposite times of this she continues to verbally abused my children her and her husband try to hit my children with their car on many occasions the police refuse to do anything about this so I'm coming to you as a customer at Smart & Final because now I feel uncomfortable coming to your store because of this woman again her name is Lupe she works in the Tulare California location and I feel like maybe you guys might want to know that this is the type of person you have working for you thank you for listening

Very disappointed store#582 clerk name Natasha.I have owned several customer oriented business. She would be gone. Rude condescending I will now only go to that store if absolutely NEEDED. Use to shop there weekly.

I know we live in extreme times, but putting a lock on your restroom in Reno Nevada is totally unacceptable. I own a business and shop there regularly, I am of the age that urgency matters in a time of need and I was shocked to see a key pad locked door to use restroom, I went up front of store to see if I could get the code and the clerk said I'll call a manager to let you in. I walked backed to restroom and waited for way to long, somewhat fuming as I'm waiting for know one to open I'm really thinking about elderly people who can't wait, and there's no where to relieve yourself close buy except to soil yourself. I'm so sorry, but if this is how you are going to treat people, I will mot shop there and be glad not to recommend your store. Pathetic!! I do apologize to Joe who I scolded before leaving the store, but needless to say, I had to go!

I shopped at your store (STORE 469) located at 25060 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 on December 24, 2020 at approximately 3:30 at was extremely agitated due to the treatment that I received. I had a mask/covering on but it slipped below my nose at some point. I was told that I had to put my mask on because a customer had complained. I was always in the aisle by myself that I was aware of. After getting the items that I needed I proceeded to the checkout to be followed by the same employee who claimed to be the manager/supervisor after the checkout employee helped me get my card to go through. This was after she told me that the card reader had been malfunctioning all day and that she knew how to make it work. The manager/supervisor publicly scolded her for helping me while telling her that was not the thing to do with all the fraud going on. I am a 28 year Marine Corps Veteran who just wanted to get some items prior to going home on Christmas Eve. This manager/supervisor seriously lacks in training on how to interact with customers. As a customer, I also do not like feeling like I am being followed through the store like a criminal because I apparently did something against management rules to put it in her words. I do not appreciate the treatment that I received and I will certainly not shop there again. As a member of this community I will be sure to share my experience with my fellow citizens.

I shop at S&F frequently and like the store and goods. During the COVID shutdown you instituted the "one line" check out routine. It was great! In my last visit you returned to the "choose your own check out" system which is not as efficient for customers or space. Please go back to the one line system.

Shopped at Rancho San Diego store today. The girl greeting us as we walked in was such a delight and pleasure to deal with. However, Bransen, a checker, was horrible. His nose was running and he was wiping his hand on our spaghetti squash (disgusting), he was banging our bottles and groceries as well as shoving our spaghetti squash so hard I thought it would break. His appearance was unsanitary. He appeared to have literally just got out of bed without combing his disgustingly dirty hair or changing his clothes. This is suppose to be a job where customer service matters. Terrible attitude. He asked me 3 times if I wanted a bag. I said yes each time and at the end he looked at me and said you want a bag or not, nodding at me as if to say if you do, get bagging your own damn groceries. Ridiculous and disgusting behavior. We then asked to speak to a manager and Jocelyn came up. I asked her for her name and if she was the store manager. She said she was the manager which in fact was a lie as she was simply a supervisor not even an assistant store manager. She was immediately combative and extremely unprofessional. We have just moved to the area and were trying out our local Smart & Final for the first time. They just lost a $1,000.00 minimum a month due to extremely poor customer service. I know they don't care because if they did this would never have happened.

I shopped today at Smart & Final at 1833 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035
There is a worker named "Norma" in that store. She is about 45-50 years. Today I bought there and this cashier has a bad attitude. It is the second time that it happens. She is not polite and attacked me when I tried to help with return process that she couldn't accomplish.
It the previous time I bought there, I paid with credit card and something went wrong with credit card update, and she was rude again and not helpful. She order me to use the pen of the machine. She doesn't say please nor thank you. She just bring her bad energy to the customers.

I went into smart n final here in modesto & after check out they had no bags Other than the ones for 99 cents..I asked for a box she said sorry no boxes.I had 6 bottles 10 yogurts & other items $50 in total & no way to carry it ..Ive waited in long lines due to not enough checkers & carrying items to my home they dropped and splattered yogurt all over at 9:45 in the evening..Being upset at this store is being nice.I wont return because if they cant stock bags i wont deal with morons...

Good morning this morning i went to ur stanton, ca. store at 6am because you were the only retail store open in the area at this time. First of all I was picking up sodas for my shop employees grand total came to $285. to my embarrassment my credit card was declined at the register. This was not only humiliating but your manager dealt with me very rudely and unprofessional. I asked if I could write a check for the purchase and he said reluctantly you can try. So I wrote a check out he abruptly grabbed the check my ID stormed off to get verify the phone the funds were of course available and they're and because he was so upset that the check was good he declined it because my driver's license was scratched and he claimed my license was altered. which it was not so I got my check back and proceeded to leave. At which time the manager ran outside with his camera and take a picture of me and my car with my license plate then I proceeded to get out of the car to discuss what the problem was and he accused me of cashing a fraudulent check or attempting not only is he unprofessional and rude you should not be in a place of management I will not be returning to any of your stores is obviously your management people are not trained appropriately if the check that I was trying to write was fraudulent he should have called the police if that's what he truly believed I think he was embarrassed because he verified the funds and it was a good check instead of honoring it and having to admit that I could afford it.
I will never use another of your chores and I will tell everyone of my friends and family have poorly-trained your management staff is your lucky if you don't get over their behavior you

I am a retired State Firefighter/EMT. I used the La Quinta store. The line for social distance is all fouled up and the customers and staff look like stranded rubber ducks in a toilet. I tried to complain but the clerk and manager were useless. Your box boy was actually laughing at me when I said I was a retired Firefighter.I will report your asinine staff to the better business bureau. I will also let all my friend/Family/co-workers know not to ever use smart and final.

You employees are ghetto as hell. I was screamed at to wear a mask coming in. Someone should get off their butt and just stand by the door instead of yelling. I will NEVER be back to ANY of your stores and will let everyone know how you do business

Bought a bag of First Street dark sweet cherries. First look I thought they were red tart cherries, but tried them anyway. First bite, thought I broke my tooth, damn pit. Out of 10 cherries 4 had pits. ? then I noticed from Chile? So I guess even S&F doesn't care about USA! ?????????

I went to Smart & Final on 17th in Santa Ana this morning at 6 am, as the website says it's open for regular hours and was denied access by the lady watching the front door. She said it was only for seniors. I explained to her that I only needed to buy Dry Ice for my moms fridge because the power had been out since 2am. I also informed her my mom is a senior and handicap and she said my mother has to get the dry ice herself. This is absurd! This store is the worst store I have ever been too. I never shop here because of this reason, rude personnel, long lines with only a few checkstands open. I only came here to get the dry ice as my mother lives around the corner. In past experience I have sent in my complaints but have never received a reply.

RIP GOUCH. OCH!!
Charging me for bags when I use my own!! Forcing me to put groceries in cart loose. Bagging in my small car!! What a RIP!!! Broke my pickle jar and an item in the cart. S&F is now to toooo expensive. I'm gone.

It's a shame when This store in Fontana Ca is supposed to have special hours for seniors but you go there and the entire public is there. I asked the (mgr) and was told " oh that was a couple of weeks ago when things were crazy. And corporate can't enforce seniors only". Then why put it out there at all? You just lost a customer
