Service sucked your system would not process my order even though when I placed got text from CC that amount was on my card and pending. Service associate was terrible and would not help at all kept saying it was my fault for not entering info right total jerk. Did customer service fit over 20 years will NEVER use your equipment again

Not sure who does QA inspection before the riding lawn mowers leave the factory but they need retraining in what there job is all about. I bought a 30 inch rider from them it arrived at my house in a crate with no instructions wrapped in plastic but credit to the delivery person for asking if I wanted him to stay while after we opened it and appeared all parts were there but again no list telling me what should be in the crate and I told him it looks like it's all here. Putting it together was pretty simple if you have common sense. Then came attaching the seat well there was no bracket on the mower to attach the pivot part of the seat to the mower (spent 45 min shacking and looking to see if it was in the crate or stuck in the pallet) but no part. So I call Home Depot to. Discuss this issue and the put me in contact with Troy-Bilt and spoke with the tech until we figured out the part that was missing and would be shipped out ASAP. Well 5 days go by no shipping email came from the so went on line and ordered the part and paid for it with next day air on Friday and received on Monday now there are no mounting bolts to attach the pivot seat so made a call to the again to make sure the bolts were shipped with the bracket the promised to get out ASAP. Glory be they arrived 2 weeks after the crate arrived spent $2100.00 on mower and $ 29 on the bracket I purchased (I still have not received the piece that was missing originally) I finally got to ride my riding lawn mower after 2 weeks and I should have not have to put out my own money to make Troy-Bilt equipment operational. Make sure if your Oder a delivery go through the entire crate it may take about a half hour but will cut down on frustration. Troy-Bilt need a new QA department or retraining.

Got a Troy bilt 2 cycle TB272V leaf blower vac used it 5 times as a blower and the vac muller wheel has stripped and loosened from shaft NOT EVEN MONTH OLD AND NEVER USED THE VAC ON IT !

got a new power washer when i retired in 2018 . used it 3 times to wash the house. this year it was broke. the place i took it to said the pump was no good and the part was 280 dollars. with labor . another 150 bucks. so this company was good but not anymore.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. No customer service at all. It's a dead end of circular phone messages and hours of holding only to be disconnected. This has gone on for over a month. No resolution to my mower failing after 50 hours of use. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM TROYBILT!!!

Recently attempted to purchase replacement parts for Zero Turn mower. Upon reaching the parts webpage I was greeted with a note under each item that shipping was free. So it was a bit of a surprise when checking out on the webpage to discover Shipping Charges were added.

The chat function is worthless. Totally automated and unable to handle simple requests, it is a maddening adolescent attempt at presenting a professional image. The automated answering system is a multi-step tree that is just as maddening as the website plus you have the typical 10 to 20 minutes of listening to a tune played over and over and over again.

When ordering replacement screws the order window indicated the purchase was for one bag of six screws but when speaking with the order desk on the telephone I was told the the price shown was for one piece of a self tapping screw for $3.43. Wrong answer.

While the attendant that answered the phone was courteous, the screwed up notice for free shipping and $3.43 for one screw was more than I would tolerate. I politely thanked the attendant, deciding to find another product to replace be TroyBilt ZTR.

I ordered 3 parts for my lawn mower from the TroyBilt.com site. No notice of any parts out of stock was given but when I received the parts, one was missing and will not be available for another 6 weeks. Had I known this, I would not have ordered it.
Additionally, I held on the phone for 40 minutes to find this out.

Just bought a TB430 blower it ran about 10 minutes and quit so I got a warranty repair order , found out that carburetor adjustment is not under warranty. Also very rude people to talk to.

I bought a 21" push mower in April 2021. I used it 3 times and it would not start again. I was referred to Congress Outdoors in Lafayette La. I spoke to a lady in the service department who rudely told me that if the problem was fuel related it would not be covered on the warranty and I could bring it in but they would have to charge me $26. She was so sarcastic I told her no thanks I would go on U tube and fix it myself. She laughed at me. Well guess who got the last laugh? I did because I did go on U tube and I did fix it myself. Thanks for the motivation. You need to learn respect. I am 64 years old but you have no idea how mentally strong I am. And as far as for you Troy built, you need to produce a better product.

I purchased a tb30 It had problems the next season. The choke was sticking the steering was striped and if you turned it sharp one way or the other it would get stuck. I called them about the problems and they had me send it to a repair shop. I had to pay $90.00 for them to pick it up. The bill ended up being over $500.00. I called them so I could know how to get the bill payed. They had the info on there computer screen. Asking me a ton of questions and then telling me the answer. Then he told me. It was over a year old so it was out of warranty. So now im stuck with a $500.00 + bill for that piece of crap. I don't know why they couldn't of told me it was out of warranty. I could of gotten it done my self a lot cheeper or traded it for something better. I thout the Maytag washer was the worst thing I ever bought. Your #1 Troy Built.

zero, zero stars, zero ranking, 5 weeks after $900+ purchase, still have no even been able to turn on the machine. attempted contact with customer service, informed them manual and parts bag missing, they sent me to a site with files that won't download to my phone. Never EVER buy this product if you haven't already, if you have, you know exactly what i'm talking about if any issue has arisen. Guy who i spoke to on phone was less than cooperative and to be honest, must have the job title of "seat warmer" ass that was all he was doing during my call for help.

I want my damn weedeater. I bought it 07/16/21. Took it back to menards on 07/25/21. They wouldn't take it back because I put gas in it. How do I know if it works or not if I don't add gas. This is so stupid. Sent me to authorize dealer to be fixed. Still no weedeater. They can't even get the parts. On Back order. Who gonna mow my lawn. The weedeater only been used 1 time. And had to order 3 parts. For brand new weedeater. STUPID

I got a weed trimmer from home Depot online used only 2 times the recoil broke had hard time to find repair person to fix 50 miles from home and got back pulled cord once it cranked then went to crank to use a minute later and the same thing happened again and sent emails and call with no response from them will talk to a lawyer this company is awful don't buy anything from them ever

My Troy-bolt pony is defective. The deck cannot be balanced. It is gouging on the right side and ruining my lawn. I acquired this pony from Home Depot last august after my previous tro bolt pony did the same thing. They are defective.

I love how my Troy-Bilt Pony mows and leaves my lawn looking so very nice. however, today the belt came loose and I was unable to mow. this was after only three or four times using the mower. so I figure whoever put it together at the factory did a really lousy job. I called Troy-Bilt today to see if they could help me and I was switched to technical and then the phone abruptly cut off. I am not pleased with the service that Troy-Bilt has to offer. I was informed I would have to take my mower to a licensed Troy-Bilt service technician. I have absolutely no way to take this mower anywhere. so at this point I am not a very happy customer.

I bought a tb105 8-21-20..would not start 4/21.Your nearest repair center was 90 min. round trip and said it was a 4 week wait. I took it to a reputable repair center that is a warranty provider for almost all other brands. Carb was bad. I called your customer "service" line and he was no help at all. He told me that since it started when I bought it carb was ok and they would not cover it under warranty any way. Your parts dept said carb was on back order. Too many defects I suspect. Found one on line for $70. New carb was installed and started first pull, idled smoothly and powered through tall wet grass with no problem. The original carb needed 3-4 pulls to start, always ran rough and engine surged, and wanted to stall under a load. I wrote it off as a new carb design, auto choke. Now looking back I'm sure original carb was defective. Improper choke, mixture adjustment, or maybe a small split in gasket or carb body. In retrospect I should have argued with your warranty tech that told me carb was good. I am retired now but for decades I was a ase certified master tech with my own shop. Retired in 2008 with a bad back so I really don't repair anything any longer but I wish I had explained to your "expert" possible causes. My advice that I give to anyone looking to buy a mower, look for a company with better customer service rating than tb. Or pay for the extended warranty so it can be returned to the store for a replacement without dealing with tb.

Do not buy a Troybuilt Snowblower!!!
Bought local in 12/19. LL Green Hardware in Hailey, Idaho. Paid $1300.
Won't start this year. Spent an hour on hold, then an hour with phone troubleshooter. Still won't start.
Troybuilt says there is NO WARRANTY. We have to wait 4 weeks for the factory authorized repair shop to take a look at it.
Bummer.
Should have gone to COSTCO.

In an attempt to deal with a customer service/complaint department, I found my search to be futile. My complaint: I ordered a set of lawn tractor blades on September 8. On numerous occasions, I checked on the status only to be given various dates to expect delivery due to "back order" status. I finally received the blades on November 21. A fairly common part, an extremely unreasonable wait of 75 days for delivery. I truly don't know how their website can display a number 5 rating.

Apparently you people are not concerned with selling mowers. After 3 hours of searching there is not a Troy Bilt super bronco within 100 miles of me. I'll buy something else.

This is the WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with. I am on hold right now while I am writing this waiting on a man name Bradley in customer support to come back to the phone. I have been waiting on hold for 33 minutes now while he place a call to Woods Equipment in Pearl. I have been trying to get my lawn mower repaired since 08/24/20. It is still not repaired. This company DOES NOT CARE ANYTHING ABOUT IT CUSTOMERS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM TROY BILT PRODUCTS. I AM STILL ON HOLD.

i hope that no one will do business with this company. their customer service department is rude will lie to you and in my case cancel my order with my knowledge. i ordered a bagger from troy bilt on 1 july 2020. i used my visa debit card to order the bagger. with in hours of my order troy bilt charged my account for 374 dollars and 49 cents. not a problem. the web page said i will my product with 5 to 6 days. this bagger is on backorder so on 7 july 2020 troy bilt hit my card again for 374.49 causing me to be overdrawn in my account. waiting for over 5 hours to chat on line with someone because every time i got down to the fourth position the chat would kick me out. so i spent the next 2 hours on the phone waiting to talk to customer service. when a agent got online they were rude and told me that troy bilt does not charge till the product is shipped and that every 5 or 6 days troy bilt will send out pending transaction to my bank for the $374.49. come to find out troy bilt is supposed to cancel the first hold on the money before they hit it again. i called the headquarters and the operator acts like you are calling the cia because they cannot put you in contact with any manager of customer service or any other office. when i got to talk to a manager named Phil he told me to contact my bank because troy bilt has not received andy money from my account and to call him back after i talked to my bank. well i talked to my bank and found out that the money is in troy bilt account waiting processing and the bank said every time troy bilt hits my card they will put it in hold for troy bilt. well i called this liar named phil back and he refused to talk to me but not only that after he told me he would keep my case open i find out he canceled my order. this al capone company still has my 374 dollars and 49 cents and they have 5 days to return it to my bank according to my bank. think about this people before you buy any product from al capone company called troy bilt. they will take your money within hours but take 5 days to give it back to you even after they cancel your order with out having the common courtsey to tell you. if you have a problem with any product or order expect to wait hours for a rude person to talk to you and if you complain they will cancel your order and lie you the whole time. please stay away from this company worst custormer service in america

To whom it may concern:


I am a 70 year old woman and so, thinking that a small cultivator would be perfect for me to handle, 3 years ago I purchased a Troybilt 4 cylinder Cultivator for a small garden in my yard.


It was used once, cleaned and stored for 2 years in my insulated shed.


Today, my son in law got it out to prep my small garden area. The tines would not rotate. At all.


I paid, I believe, approximately $300.00.


My son in law took it to a well established mower repair shop.

They are quite knowledgeable about the Toro brand. They have had several customers bring in a cultivator like mine with the same problem.


The gears that manipulate the tines are plastic and don't last. They could repair, but the cost is more than the value of the cultivator.

My son has the same cultivator, same age, that he said was in good working condition. He hadn't used it yet this year. It was working when he 1st started it up and to no ones surprise, it seems to have the same problem.

The tines froze up. He brought it over to help me and surprise,


One time use at $300.00 is rather high priced.


Sadly I don't have the funds to replace it.

Troybilt used to be a great product and name and stood behind their products when they were owned by Garden Way.

Been trying to get them for days, they just dont help you. On the website the chat function doesn't work either, what is a customer to do? I GUESS NEVER BUY THEIR JUNK AGAIN!!!
