I have been told by WU that I can no longer use WU,because My name is similar to a person who is no longer allowed to use WU. I have contacted WU about the matter. They say I have to prove I am me. I am a hold card member. !! First they said to Go to an agent location to send . I did but they still refused to let me send money.Then I was told I need to fill out verification form .My internet devices will let me read the form not fill it out online. So I call them and get the run around.

Western union is supposed to be one of the oldest and most trusted companies in the U.S. iI recently had the unfortunate experience of having a money order stolen from me it was completely filled out and unfortunately the crook somehow erased my information and replaced theirs Alicia Thornton in Englewood corporate office lied and said the money order was not altered and the case is closed. I am pursuing this matter and dont appreciate being ripped off twice!! They ought to be ashamed of the treatment of customers and I will continue to fight for my hard earned money!!!!

My friend send me money from UAE and these is the second time he will send money to me but when i come to westetn union i waited for 40 mins and come to think of it im the first customer and then they told me to verify the control number to the sender because its invalid. How could that be?! But still i yold my friend to check and verify it again but they told him that the money had been paid already then i come back again in the wu but they keep avoiding me! And telling me that its invalid how will the company deal with this ?! Is this western union train there employee regarding this? Getting the money of others ! Please fix this that money belongs to somebody

Hi i am Daisy from philippines and been a valued costumer of western union since 2004 without any problem till 2014.Last year before 2015 ends i send money to my fiance's friend in nigeria working in a shipping companyto arrange some of my fiance's important document because my bf cant face to do things because of his job.The 1st one i send is ok but then when i send the second time to the same name was been denied and it says no money match found when my receiver went to WU to collect it and he called me to go back to the place where i send the money and i went there to ask and they told me the money has been collected already by the receiver so i fight with the staff because they insist that the money is already pick up.si i went home disappointed.after a week i have to send again to nigeria i went to another petnet wu agent to send and luckily the money was been collected by my reciever.then the next i send 3rd was again denied and same case from rhe other branch.that time i decided to email the costumer service because i want to refund.and the CS said they will contact or update me after 24 hrs. So i waited for their responce.after 24 hrs they send me email and ask what is the mtcn #,and my personal info.so i gave them and they said they will send me email again after 24 hrs. So morning before i went to work i decided to make a call to them so i call then ask about it and luckily they fixed everything.and also comolain about my 2nd transaction that was denied.and they give me reason that due to compliance the money was not send so they gave me another mtcn to refund.Now,i went to USSC and send money to my sister and i found out that they block my name,for what reason?what i know i am not a criminal or murderer or whatsoever.they said because i send money to other people that is not related to me,what the f*** is their business!as long as i am working and have monet to send to my family or friend who needs help i will send it to them its non of your business...i am not doing bad and God knows what i am doing everyday.I am paying you to send money to my love ones and i gave a trust in your company so please fixed this things.dont reason out.do your job as well.Specially we costumers are sending money for emergency.please Western Union you must also know that every country theres a lot of scammers not only nigeria so dont give me this damned reason to cover your mistakes.just fixed it and make the transaction very well and fast.We are using your money transfer agent for emergency not to give us a problem!thank you and i am hoping for a positive outcome from WU.

This is a marry go round of calls to people who dont know there job , people who cant speak English , they read off what to say , they lost my money order recites , and i even certified them to them what a joke they are , for the biggest money making company they should have better hired help ..

They are scammers, they take your money before checking if they can process it, then hold your money and thousands of others in their bank getting lots interest, then decline it before delays in paying you back, utter scammers,

Sending money to Malaysia to my friend, whom I sent the money before 4-5 times and was rejected; they said they gonna call for interview and they didn't. They just cancelled the transfer like a b***h! I hope this Western Union company go bankrupt.

This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a company, DO NOT USE WU. Cust service is a merry-go-round of employees going by a scripted line of BS, they have you waiting while they look at the same thing you can see online, I have been waiting now almost 2 weeks for a $1730 refund and I keep getting there is a five day waiting period, or it's been sent and my bank is holding it, ect. ect. and you can't get anyone in charge to actually trace the transaction.

Hi all,
I had a very bad experience with western union branch at Bokaro steel city sector 4 working in Punjab National Bank. I had send money to my spouse as it was an urgent situation and they had taken all the documentations in need for collection of cash and kept them waiting for around 3 hours to pay. And then said that they have no money to pay and again kept them waiting as I received a message from western union that my money sent has been collected by my wife I send her the screenshot and as she showed them the same and had an argument finally after half an hour they paid the amount after testing the entire patience of them.. We trust your organisation with a hope that our family would be having a better service and hassle free situation back home but this Franchisee of yours is a black-mark for your brand. Hope you see into it.

My fiance is out of town in a place that I can't get a hold of him. He sent me money but only gave me 9 numbers instead of 10 and I can't not get the money now. I am losing my house and cannot pay my power bill now. I asked if I could get it any other way and was shut down multiple times.

I tried to send my husband money twice . They said no it's going to Africa. They ask you personal questions that are not their Damn business . Funny how our men can go to protect your country that has no balls and no glory but you refuse to help those who help you. I will not recommend you to anybody and I refuse to try you again. How do you stay in business when you list all these places you can send , but when you try to send to your list you refuse . Do you people have any common sense

Western Union's branch committed fraud and Western don't want to take impressionability for it.

Western Union Paid my money to someone is name wasn't on it and without the person showing any ID. And they lying now supporting their branch saying that they have all the documents proof of the money was given to the right person. Each time you call and each person you talk, you have to restart and explained thoroughly what happen. Their staff (supervisors include ) are confused and don't know what to do. then after they make you nauseous by explaining over and over the situation they are rude (I am manager!/supervisor) not ready to go extra miles to help.

I have tried twice to mail my son some money and twice Western Union let me down. First time they sent it to the wrong state. The 2nd, my son didn't qualify. He has proper ID and is not an escaped felon. I will stick to Moneygram like I should have in the first place

i have complaint about western union branch rawang malaysia(lotus group enterprises sdn bhd)03/04/15 money send to india, agent behaver like police station ,very rude whatever They say just listren,no questen,no doughts,working very slow, one transaction more than 15 minutes simply harrasing custemer,please do something for better relation with custemer.

Western Union customer service stinks. The las cruces nm Police department have been trying to get a copy of a money order that was stolen and later cashed. When they called the fraud dept they were given instructions on where to fax a request for a copy of the money order. The problem is the fax number is no good. I called and got another fax number, it was no good either. On the times I have tried to call, and were finally able to get a live person, they were evidently from India. I couldn't understand a word they said. When I asked for a supervisor, they hung-up. My advice is to NEVER NEVER EVER use Western Union services.

I have tried several times to get through on the website TO NO AVAIL. Then, when I try to connect with a live person I get sent to an offshore center and am suppose to give them my personal money information. To boot, the reception on the line is extremely poor. Your service arrangements are tedious.

Shocking service. I thought to use their online service to transfer money to my father overseas. Transaction was put on hold and was told to call the customer service. I was then advised that they need the identification of the sender to be sent to their department who will then approve that recipient can receive the money. Hearing that I wanted to Cancel the transaction.
They then require a letter from my with each and every detail of my father as if he is going to apply for VISA to Western Union. Worst Service.

Good evening, with due respect i want to submit a complain about western union.
At that stage of world business every compny try to satisfy their Agent and customer.
but western?
i am talking about western union commission in Italy. it's only 14% !
ask yourself is it sufficient ?
i have a shop in Rome Italy
in last month i earn only 219 €(14%) ! while Ria Money Transfer pay me 865 € ( 44%) and from Placid money transfer 406 € (60%).
you know that when one customer want to send money by western union we agent are suggest customer to send by other money transfer
because only for low commission, i think this is not a good sign for western union. day by day western union will destroy for such a
stupid decission. don't think about now, think what happen after 5 year, i am sure western will be a looser.
sorry for my bad english,
as italian we are not native english man.

Since the first week of January 2015, I've tried to redeem my WU rewards, as I am a customer with Western Union since 2011, almost 4 years now. I am also a disable individual, and with all else, I am supposed to be accommodated because of my disability. I know that not all the time, things are perfect, but how many times must a Customer of yours go through "chaos and/ havoc" before she can honestly admit that Western Union not only get you wired money in minutes, but you also can redeem your WU rewards in Minutes also. NO! I can't say that. I have had nothing but pure misleading information by your Western Union agents. I was suppose to get a redemption first in from my reward which was at that particular time one agent quoted me 734 points, another quoted me 713, and another agent quoted me 703 points. The first request was supposet to be in the amount of $130, the next in the amount of $150, and after speaking to Heba, agent number 013, today, January 24, 2015, I only have 147 points. I have been questioned, asked my personal information many times by your agents who are employed by your company worldwide, and still I've gotten NO FAVORABLE RESULTS as to why I am not receiving my WU regards in a timely manner. I am experiencing some conflicting information, and that is why is that you guys can send money in minutes, but your agents don't provide you with the correct info... When I quoted my WU number to the agents/people on Saturday, Heba #015 says my WU number is 461-959-482. Another guy told me it was However, if you would check the computer, you will see how many attempts I've done to retrieve my WU rewards, to no avail. It is so frustrating as a disable individual whose voice is not being heard. I have had so many people on this, asking me questions. Questions they should already know, as they can see when the last time I sent money, to the first time I started sending money, back in 2011, frequently to a Mr. Ernaud Prophete, my boyfriend in Dallas, Texas, to Audley Smith and Carlona Smith as recently in December 2014. I sent them $100 a piece. I retrieved my money back from Mr. Prophete as he didn't need it. I was told someone from western union would call me. I have not received a phone call,nor the money, nor a tracking number to receive the money. This was the beginning of January 2015. All I am asking that this problem be resolved asap. All I want what is lawfully due me and that is the $150, I was told at first I was to received. Now I am only getting $30, according to HEBA the agent I spoke with today. What is happening? Please... I need to know what is going on with my transactions at you Royalty Department and/or Lolyaty Department. I am not sure what they are saying. I was trying to send money via online to oversea this morning and western union has been giving me a hard time. When they asked for my banking information I put in everything they asked, including the billing address which I have a PO Box address as billing with my bank. They rejected it that I must put in a physical address, and when I put it the physical address of my PO Box the transfer was declined (obviously because of the unmatched billing address with my bank). I called the customer service, no help. I got in touch via the customer service chat, explained the situation that I used the PO Box address as my billing address for all the cards and bank. They said it didn't work I must use something with a physical address. I mean, I have a physical address listed in my profile, I have my driver license and everything. How come I cannot enter my billing address AS IF WHAT I HAVE IN MY BANK?!?!? I can't change all my billing information JUST BECUZ YOU DAMN WESTERN UNION wont let me use PO box address in any field. F**K this sh*T, it is waste of my time and all that. I am not using western union anymore. I'd rather pay more bank fee and use another transfer service! Their customer service is not helping at all, worst of that, they have some sick attitude toward customer!
