Funds to Be collected in by Anna L, at Francavilla Al Mare, 66023 CH, Italy

Yesterday I opened a new Western Union account and sent USD$340.00 plus $34.00 in fees and received a verification phone call to confirm everything from your office. Anna was to receive 254.90 Euros and I was told yesterday by your office on the phone that the funds would be available for collection in 5 minutes in the Francavilla Al Mare, 66023 CH, Italy area. This morning Anne walked to the closest Western Union agent who told her he has no funds to pay her and she should call him tomorrow and he will let her know if he has funds available. She then walked 5 kilometers as getting the money today was urgent to the second and only other Western Union agent in Francavilla Al Mare, 66023 CH, Italy area who told her the same thing!!!!!! What the hell is going on? I paid you USD$34.00 in fees to have the funds immediately available in the Francavilla Al Mare, 66023 CH, Italy area and your only 2 agents in this area claim they do not have 254.90 Euros to pay out????? Has your system gone mad? I suggest that you fine or cancel your agreement with the 2 Western Union agents in the Francavilla Al Mare, 66023 CH, Italy area as this is NOT what I paid for. I expect compensation form Western Union as Anna now can’t pay her rent on time and will be fined by her landlord because your agents claim they are not carrying enough money to pay Anna. This is a situation that is uncalled for and should be illegal as your agents have now caused financial hardship to Anna. I have asked Anna to consider getting a legal opinion if she is entitled to compensation from Western Union.
I await your most urgent reply and satisfaction to this bad situation caused to us by your agents.

I was trying To send money to the philippines since 10am today. I reset my password and you kept on changing the numbers and letters i have to peat which i did for ten times . I am sorry i am not sending money because you are giving me a hard time

i am using western union service since last 10 year from kuwait to pakistan (almost). now i have problem with western union and including agent in kuwait (thru whom i sent money ). i sent one transaction on 17th nov.14 and its blocked by western union, since 17th i registered my complaint with local agent. till 2day 19th i have no proper reply from local agent and western union. no one give me reason that why transaction blocked??? i fed up and will stop sending money thru western union from 2day. i have very bad experience with western union.....

wanted to send money from canada to germany. am no resident of canada and told the office i am travelling further south. western union apparently canceled the transaction without informing me. the recipient in germany spent several hours in their office and received no help. so i got in touch with the so-called service line in canada. after few more days i was provided with a new code and the answer that the recipient in germany could now pick up the money. again, fail. calling again did not work. email = no replz. filing a complaint through their webside (does not work when using a mobile or ipad!) i finally got contacted. well, several emails later i was now told the original transaction was canceled. obviously one tried to get in touch to clarify some questions. strange only that i never got a call, nor email from them. well, now i am in mexico and they want me to travel back to canada to get a refund! i tell them, i do not live in canada and do not plan a travel there for the near future. would they pay for me plane tickets? last reply, they would arrange a refund here in mexico. also no option. i am definitely not running around with so much cash over here. also, i would then pay conversion fees twice: CAD to peso to Euro. would they refund this financial loss? of course they stay quiet on this topic! would they refund the handling fee that i initially paid without ever having received this "service"? guess what, no reply on this neither!

I have a complain with your employee here in front of golden gate subdivision talos tres las piñas city philippines.i know your protocol but this guy named himself Ace and hes very proud to tell ne hu is the in charge or the manager there has a VERY RUDE ATTITUDE TO HIS CUSTOMER and thats me.im karole hugo eho lived in was said subd.we(ace)and i have a big fight regarding about your protocol and ive said it that ive already know because i forgot my i.d then i said 2 his colleague that im gonna run back to my house and get my i.d in a nice tine of my voice his colleague is girl who were the i talked to then suddenly this ace talked back to SARCASTICLY!that they cannot transact my money unless i have i.d then i said it i again that yah i knoe thats why im gonna run blah and so for.but this ace still talk to much and as a manager!as if he is very proud to broadcast it there whereas there js also 2 customer talking to me so rude & sarcastic!just because i came there 30mins before they gonna close..i dont know the surname of this guy even if the given name if its true or not but im hoping you make an action for my report..this is actually the second time..the first one i just ignore maybr i was thinking i camr there again 30mins before they gonna close.i dont bother if this is not confidential..i go to your branch as a decent person and i dont deserve such a treatment having a rude conversation to your in manager there.iam really hoping you gave him a warning on this after what ive experienced in your employee...my cellphone number is .pls give a call about my complain about yout employee.i wont have an effort such a thing like this if i havent been treated so badly....thank you very much

Hi sir/mam, I'm a regular customer of your good company where I found your service easy and fast for my international transaction. The only thing I'm complaining is your employee working in Bayawan City Branch,Negors Oriental. I'm not so sure with here name but it sounds like Kathy Canelon( please correct me if I'm wrong) since there are just 2 workers except the security guard which is so helpful that I found in your business office. I been there having a transaction quite a while but I only had a single moment which she's fine and the rest she's just kinda rude in threating with the customer. I mean its worst. I even witnessed sometime as she scold the customer impolitely. Now on my past she did that to me too, even telling to set down because she's said she's having problem with the SSS or sort of. But what do I know, and I don't care its her job and her fault by getting herself into. We want transaction and just like my ordinary days that im in a hurry, I didn't told her to hurry I just went to the counter because its my turn. The worst is I have waited for like 45 minutes up to an hour,. She was just doing some calls, getting chat online well she might be asking for reference but I don't think she will kept us waiting for that long or she could take of it later. Man! I'll tell its not a friendly face, well at least that's all I saw in here. Oh! one time during my transaction before I was able to talk to here I was held, a little delay on the counter as she was talking of some sort of a business with somebody, like selling stuff and I know its not western union stuff :).

Anyway, hope you can take actions on this matter as im kind of afraid to go back there that same thing might happen. As of now my option is to go to Emcore instead but just slow over there, so I'm hoping to go back in your business office asap and hope it'll get fixed.

My husband abroad sent me money but I was not able to claim it because my identifications still bears my maiden name. I only have my Pag-ibig ID bearing my married name and told them that my other IDs are still in the process of having them changed (which usually takes or even weeks here in the Philippines). I offered to provide them my marriage certificate but the CSRs did not accept it.

I told them that banks do accept my IDs and my marriage cert and asked them how could they be so strict when I am a regular customer. I just recently got married and the identifications bearing my husband's last name are not available yet.

Should they not give considerations to people like me? Should they be that mean in not giving the remittance even if u show them ample proof that u are the receiver only u don't have the IDs that they want? It is a very big hassle. Might as well do a direct bank to bank transfer if they dont stop this wrong practice.

as far as i know your company does not require that both of your employee will take their breaktime at same time,,,i have an experienced here at one of your tagudin ilocos sur branch,,,that when i went to remit the branch was closed,,,am not the only one waiting perhaps were six of us,,,,please do something about it,,,,,

My friend send me money from saudi arabia and then he spelled my name incorrectly and he spelled Lioud not Lloyd and when I go to western union to receive the money he sent to me they did not give it to me..because of the spelling of my name and my valid I.D that I present is not same my friend spelled my name Lioud ervin openiano and my I.D. Is Lloyd Ervin Openiano..how can I get my money my friend says he has no time to change my name because he is going to america for vacation.please I need help..I want to have my money to pay my bills.

I tried to send money to my grandson because of an emergency. My on-line transaction was cancelled. I called WU directly. After a wait that seemed like forever a representative tried using my checking account and then two(2) credit cards. The reply was always the same. "The system declined my transaction." He could not tell me why, nor whom I could call to inquire about "the system" There is enough money in these accounts to pay his annual salary more that five times over. There is nothing wrong at my end. As proof, I purchased plane tickets and made two (2) car reservations using the same credit cards. So I guess "the system" runs WU and not the people!!!!

Western Union got a LOT more expensive in 2014. Last year it was a flat charge of $8 or $12, now they want about 10 to 15 % of the amount sent! Don't bother with Custom House either - Western Union bought them out in 2009.

We're wondering why I didn't get a money its first time have a problem on Western union he monthly used that money transfer. western union stink they are con people they say that it is simple to send 123 yet I sent my partner a large amount of money which is the last one that I will send her but they made a decision not to give it to her so who is conning who I know a lot of people that say stay away from western union I am trying to bring her to Australia to be married they said it was a risk . I walk out in the street and get hit by a car which is not my fault and be killed who is at risk .it is not western union decision to reject my money to send to my partner in west Africa Ghana now I will sue the western union for every penny that I sent through them and they can PAY FOR MY PARTNER TO COME TO AUSTRALIA TO BE MARRIED AND ALL THE PHONE CALLS THAT I HAD TO MAKE TO THEM BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT SEND MY MONEY TO HER THEY HAVE NOT HERD THE LAST OF ME WESTERN UNION ARE THE SCAMMERS AND A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT LIKE THEM

if you use credit card or debit card and you have a good bank if something settles that shouldnt you can protest it by filling out a simple form and your bank or cc company WILL reverse and put money back into your acct, i will not use western union again, they are getting pretty crappy, everyone is in mexico, dubai or somewhere like that, asked cust service in mexico to transfer me to smeone in USA he was very nice said ok and sent me to dubai or pakistan asked that person to transfer me he kept asking why then laughed and hung up. WOW! please stop outsourcing jobs and people refuse to talk to anyone other than someone on us soil and maybe they will get the message, western union you suck!

I made a change for my transaction for the money I sent last night and it was terrible..nightmare..I was with customer service on the phone at the location I did the transaction. It was a terrible one hour of wait for the simple thing of just rerouting the money I sent..after an hour I was given the new number to be able to have a refund and the store was going to do a new transaction. Guess what I was given the same MTCN number which I found out when I hang and needed to call back again..painful long of waiting and there was not even apology for the longest wait ever..and for the second time I was given the wrong number again but I was enough to ask the personnel to wait at the other line so he would be able to talk with the store owner and yes I was given the wrong number but it was corrected because he was talking to the store owner where I was sending the money..it was a nightmare...

my cousin send m0ney fr0m s.m clark pampanga to san isidro nueva ecija lasta jan 10 2014 but until n0w d q p rn nku2ha ang pera,that same day she send the m0ney my error n about my middle name,so she went back to the western uni0n branch and fix it, the teller said the proces time is 30min so my cousin and i wait 4 an0ther 30 min,and finaly the teller said its ok so i went to w.u branch here in poblaci0n san isidro nueva ecija just to get the news n d pa dw ok s system,same proces again naghintay ult kmi at cnv wla p dn dw!.until n0w d q p nku2ha 3days na..my god pls improve ur service,.its our m0ney we are claiming,.at nagbbyad kmi s inyo 4 that kind of service.

office ng western union sabi not match po daw,so i tell again to my freind to send me again the control number he give to me again the number and the receipt to proof he really send me,i see all documents is complete, i go again to the western union to pick the money but told not match again,i tell again to my freind,my freind go to the office thre in western union in france and told me is pick up already,i told i cannot pick up coz told me always the number not match.until now the money is gone dont know whos claim that.i am the true receiver ,i was hoping before give the money to the receiver make sure if she or he really receiver .

very bad.. avoid sending morethan thousand of dollars.. I'll send a couple of thousand dollars and i provide all the document that they need after that they refuse to send and the customer service advice me to refund or re-send the money.. i refund and re-send the money not including the service charge, and they ask me again to pay the service charge... this is like a scam they making money for nothing..

The web page for Western Union is very frustrating. All I want to do is send money from my Canadian Account to my US account and I have been on the net for an hour trying to figure out how to do it. Custom House Exchange was so much more user friendly.

My wife had an accident and is in a hospital in Germany. I was sent money by her co-worker so that I could buy a plane ticket asap. When I went to pickup the money WU said my middle name had to be mentioned by the sender in Germany. Even though the order had my first and last name, my address and telephone number. It's 6 hours ahead in Germany and I have to now try to find out how to contact this person on a Sunday so they can go back the the WU location to add my middle name. I'm in NYC. Also, WU does not even have a space on their forms to put a middle name. It only asks for First and Last Names.

A brother in Christ wired me a money from in the USA and sent me the MTCN#, but unfortunately when I claim it they can't find any match from the MTCN that I give, I tried it in the other branch who offered Western Union but still failed! I asked my brother to check the MTCN he sent but it is still the same number he give but still no match at all. Hope the WU can fix and solve this problem.

I cancelled a transaction by myself and I was told that it takes up to 2 months to get my money back. This is pretty customer unfriendly approach and not acceptabe !!! I will therefore no more use Western Union to transfer any money. With that, they lost one customer. The company's behaviour is very unprofessional !!!

I just went to Change.org to complain about the erroneous practices of Western Union. I also complained to Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection and Federal Trade Commision. I will never ever use them again as they took monies out of my bank account on an incomplete transaction I did not submit to completion. Customer service are rude and couldn't understand a word they said. Shameful business practices.
