Yahoo Customer Service Complaints - page 3

Yahoo's customer service freaking sucks. You just go around in circles from one page to the next and then back and nothing gets solves. Like many, I can't get into my old account and I need it to verify my iMDB account which is also asking for some code sent to my e-mail. My Yahoo password is 100% correct and my recovery e-mail used to be correct, but it doesn't exist anymore so I can't access it anymore. Therefor I can't get the code needed to verify my yahoo account.

I am writing to complain about the non-existent customer support for the problem I am having with Yahoo! mail.



I had an account which I can no longer access. Access stopped late on 21 April 2017.



I receive an "invalid password" message when I try to log in and, when I go through the steps for forgotten passwords and try to recover the password using the mobile/cell phone I registered, I receive the message: "Uh-oh... We can't get sign you in on this device. Please try from the device you use most often."



In the meantime, those sending me emails receive the message: "Sorry your message to [email protected] cannot be delivered. This account has been disabled or discontinued [#102]."



I have tried unsuccessfully to create a "new" account with the eMail address [email protected]. I receive the message that a mail account already exists.



Over the last 48 hours I have spent very many hours trying to find a solution using the yahoo self-help websites, including Yahoo Help Central, and I seem to go round and round in circles and am unable to find a way to send an eMail to Yahoo customer support.



On 22 April, I did telephone a service offering Yahoo mail support that was indicated on a Yahoo website, but after asking a lot of questions, was informed that I was talking to a private company (Softtech 365), that my account had been hacked from Canada and that they would help me if I paid USD 149,99 and made a payment online using my credit card number. I was reluctant to do this, as I could not be sure who I was talking to.



I have a second account ([email protected]) which seems to be working ok. It is difficult to be sure, as before 21 April, I had asked people to send eMails to the other account ([email protected]).



What is frustrating is that the solution appears to be rather straight-forward. I need Yahoo! to help me regain control of my account by resetting the password and informing me.

Yahoo is an irresponsible company. It is in the service of taking care of consumers and yet does not offer a customer service line to call and receive help. The problems I face with Yahoo are highly technical in nature, and they need to be addressed frequently, yet this multibillion corporation wants to use a community of volunteers to answer my queries. What a joke!!! I have since moved all my emails to gmail. Don't do business with this company.

I am commenting solely on your comments section although there is so much to complain about with yahoo its laughable. You should just shut your comment section down. Obviously you are not interested in the comments otherwise you would not be making it so extremely difficult to comment. Your banned words are laughable. You can hear President trump saying worse things on Twitter. You refuse to allow someone to re-comment after someone else responds to your initial comment. You are stifling discourse. Often when you either thumbs up or Heart (both systems are viable depending on the news source, which is stupid) it jumps to the top of the page or boots you out of the article. You cannot follow a thread to offer several responses. You have either purposely corrupted the feature or bumbled into further ineptitude in its redesign. In either case you FAIL. So eliminate the feature or fix it. For a Tech company you guys are a claque of buffoons.

I will try not to use profanity but I am so angry I cannot even think right. I am 70 years of age. I cannot receive mail a pop up comes up on my iPad instructing me to enter my password.the password does not work. My security question do t match. I am locked out of my account and I do not know what to do. I have spent three days going in circles with your stupid instructions why can't I change my password. Please so one out there help me. I was told by some e on this page that I had to $200 to restore my email. That is fraus. Help,me please dear God

Yahoo Doesn't Give A Rip About People. I Tried To Change My Pw In Two Accts I Use For Business. One I've Had For Over 15yrs With All My Work And Personal Information And The Other One I've Had For Several Years As My Aolaim Acct. When I Tried To Change My Pw According To The Letter Received, The Accounts Disappeared, Now I Can't Work!!! Literally Cannot Work!! All My Information Is In Those Accounts!!!! I Called Corp # And The Person Was Rude And Put On A Recording. The Online Help Keeps Going In Loops And Doesn't Help. Thanks Yahoo What Am I Supposed To Do Now For Money? I'm Cancelling The Rest Of My Yahoo Emails And Starting Fresh Someplace Else. You Need To Be Sued And I Just Might Be The One To Start It If You Don't Find Help For Your Customers Fast!!!

Absolutely disgusted with the help I received today! The technician was try to charge me near on £300 to secure my email account! Just this morning it was reported in the media that over a billion yahoo customer email accounts have been hacked over a period of time so WHY are your customers being charged for YOUR incompetence?? If yahoo is being targeted then surely you are the ones that should be taking security measures not your customers! If your going to be charging this outrageous amount to a billion customers then your going to do just fine from this hacking scandal aren't you!! Needless to say you have list my custom & I definitely will not be recommending you either!!

Impossible to get help from these people! They pride themselves on their customer support!!????? You click on the contact us tab and it sends you to a forum that does not good!! Save yourselves a lot of grief and headache use a different mail/support carrier!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!!

My question is when will Yahoo technical department solve this problem. "Portfolios are currently under maintenance, sorry for the inconvenience we are working on a solution and will be back shortly."

Verry verry poor company because i have a bad experience with yahoo last 1 year i register a domain from yahoo i am getting lot of problem , because they have not any contact no for resolve it .

The help center runs in a loop never really solving the problem. There customer service is non exsistant and there devices are now lacking.

Amazon says that my email address is invalid. My email address is Cindy Wright 49 at yahoo.com. I have heard that Yahoo has been hack into if you will. I've had my phone numbers taken off of some of my accounts which by the way has come from Yahoo to notify me of this. So how can I verify my correct email address that I gave you with Amazon so they will accept it?

Yahoo Help Central page has no answers for this problem. I remember my email address, but it will not accept my password. It won't let me change my password. I needed to get my password issues fixed and their site sends you in circles without giving you the ability to reset the PW. It keeps sending you to a help community and "sign in helper" which in turn also sends you to the community where there is nothing, but questions with no answers.

I need to speak to someone to recover, and change my password on my 3 e-mail accts that have been hacked, and I CAN NOT GET INTO!

I've done every thing on you help suggestions and to avail.

I need to change my phone number and log on info. I get too confused, i need to talk to someone, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIME I've tried I can't get throw all the help suggestions.

Yahoo customer support is awful. Their systems require you to use the community forums. They are counting on users that they do not know nor their level of technical competency to help others. What garbage!

Ever since the last windows 10 update my rocketmail account keeps blocking my nokia 830 I can logon to it through my phone internet but it will not connect with the app. It keeps sending me emails says someone has attempted to log in.
Local ATT or Microsoft store doesn't know what's going on.

Yahoo support sucks bad I can't find a number or email to reach anyone they send you around in this stupid loop and it doesn't solve anything.

I've went through every little thing yahoo has to get into my account. Can't find my password, and the phone number I use to have is way gone and forgotten... my account is ...... Noone seems to care

One would think that any good Executive seeing 4500+ comments (mostly frustrated individuals who can't get a problem resolved) would act to on changing the way problems are resolved.

The utter arrogance of a message on the phone that "Yahoo has changed the way we do customer support". With no ability to get a support, I customer leaves you. Your financial performance is showing Yahoo they have a major problems.

I am unable to connect to my email account. The Help.yahoo.com is worthless and the Community it refers me too is worse - nothing but complaining about Yahoo's customer services.
