I HAVE A NEW STRATOLINER,9 MONTS OLD , IN SHOP FOR 11 WEEKS TOTAL ,LAST TIME IN FOR ENGINE NOISE AGAIN, DEALER SAID- THEY HAD ROAD IT AND NOISE IS NORMAL-I HAD NOTED MILEAGE AT DROP OFF AND BIKE HAD NOT LEFT LOT. NO ADDTIONAL MILES,, WISH I COULD GET SOME HELP FROM SOME ONE- CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SAID GUST TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER, SPRINGFIELD YAMAMA MO. IS MY SALEING DEALER AND SHOULD REPAIR MY BIKE-THEY DID NOT EVEN RIDE IT TO SEE IF I HAD A CONCERN.

I am not pleased with the yamaha rhino, poor design on the 700, blew the head gasket att 25 hours, fixed by dealer and blew again at 74 hours.

I bought the rhino due to reputation, however research online reveals that YAMAHA has a problem with the rhino, the cooling system, overheating and head gaskets blowing. Had to argue with the dealer to fix it under warrenty the first time - this bike has not been ridden hard at all. I think I bought a lemon, it's never been right.

I will not but another YAMAHA.

Good Afternoon,

I bought the Kuryakyn Magnum Mirrors and adapters from you last month on the net. I received the mirrors but the adapters were not included. I called and had the adapters sent separately. I am sure that cost you extra money for shipping but that is on you. I installed my Mirrors last weekend. The first chance I had to take my bike for a ride was yesterday. I rode about 30 minutes and jumped on the expressway. When I reached 70 miles an hour the left side mirror broke off, hit my gas tank leaving a huge deep chip in the paint and then proceeded to bash in my left testicle.Not fun. I was able to hang onto the mirror and took some pictures which I attached. I called this morning and talked to a gentlemen. I left out my testicle out of the story and his reply was to send the broken adapter to him and he would send me a new one. Did I hear him right? Pay $5 bucks to ship a $4.50 part? I told him the adapter broke off flush with the bottom of the mirror. See Pic. He told me I would need to get an easy out to get the broken bolt out of the mirror. I thought man you are lucky I don't live in Indiana. I just hung up thinking what did I just here? I could not ride my bike to work today without the mirror
No resolution! Sent mirror back. Westfield Indiana dealer will not help. Only wants to replace the broken adapter

Terrible customer service on a cheesy electronic piano that started malfunctioning 2 months after purchase. They make you pay for the call then place you on hold forever. Never going yamaha again.

very poor service you have provided in bikes your service center sutyana in Vanraj traders Rudrapur charges the money with their own basis and mechanic is also not work properly so please do some action.

I had purchased Yamaha FZ16 in Oct 2009 & since start of 2011 I started facing problem with it. I lodged complaint with Lotus Yamaha Bangalore, they changed almost all parts of my bike but still the problem remains. The mechanics are completly unaware of the problem. The Bike is giving me jerks while driving and is not running smoothly. 1 of the mechanic said its Carborator problem, another said Piston Problem. I tried reaching out to Yamaha Customer services, but was not aware that they are too poor in handling their own customers. They have not responded to any of my queries till date. This shows, how much Yamaha's goodwill gets impacted & I am sure that after reading such comments from customers, people will think twice before taking Yamaha bikes.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I Purchased a FZS model(limited edition) on Nov'11 but the engine is very noisy and the pickup is not up to the mark at all, i lodged this complaint several times in ORION motors, Bangalore where i purchased the bike but they are not taking any care at all rather than arguing falsely with me. I am totally disappointed with the vechicle and also shwed the bike in another serving centre PANACHE motors Bangalore and even they are unable to do it and also getting a mileage below 30. I am not concerned about mileage but i want my bike to be smooth and powerful which i am not getting even after a try for minimun 7 to 8 times. Really disappointed about the bike performance and the service quality the servicing center guys providing. Plz take some immediate action's regards to this issue.

i am samar mandal having a fazer bilke num was wb -74p-7796,two weak before i had a servicing so but while i don my servicing i said that start problem plz charge my battery n my engine was sounding like (cheek cheek cheek) ,n that sound was from very beginning ,but they ignore it every time ,they said every time is ok from the beginning , and two weak back , that time also they said now its ok ,,,,,the same thing is happening again and again ,finally i gave a complain on Calcutta service center they said we lunch a complain so that u get a call from our engineer than i got a call from siliguri service center .again the same person is calling ,, after some days i went to there they told me at 2 pm you have to submit your bike in hear , i said i cant do that next time i will come on morning so u checked my bike that time n i will take home ,,,, after three day i make my self free n came on morning n gave my bike the 10 am job card number is 6,, i wait until they are working but they even not touches my bike i said why u are not working its 4 pm ,, when i take my bike ,, than they said ok ok we are doing ,, than they said you give your bike in hear for today n come tomorrow i said that why u are doing later its your problem,, not mine i will take my bike you have to finish your work,,, but they are arguing with me ,,,,,, final y i drop my bike ,, n went home ,,,,,,,next day i came on 3 pm,,,,,, there work is not get finished than after that also i wait ,and take my bike 4.30 pm,,,,,,, they told me the problem,, and said you have to change something inside ,, so i said ok,,,,,,,on morning again start problem is going ,,,,,, than after two days i toke my battery that time i fine one thing that is there is a rubber cover where negative and positive covered so water are not get in through but one is missing from negative side and in positive side that one is there ,, i thought it was mistake,, and take my battery to a charger shop,,, for charging ,,,, after that i put on my battery ,,,, than i wont get any problem regarding my start ,,,,, so,,,, if Yamaha showroom or service center cant solve the problem of a battery that directly told to us that u cant solve the problem ,,, we can solve from out side,,,,, and i saw a problem which was MISSING there is a two pipe which com from a battery and another is from some ware els that one is MISSING ,,i no they are STEALING this for another bike ,,,,,,, is this so YAMAHA company is TEACHING STEALING to their workers ,,,,,,,TOUGH THEM HOW TO STEAL PROPERLY .,,,,,, i want strong feedback on this particular matter,,, thank-you ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Very disappointed with the customer service of both Yamaha and their so called, Authorized' dealers. I dropped off my receiver for repairs at "Pinnacle Service Center" in Haverhill, MA and it was sitting there over a month. When I call they tell me they are waiting for PARTS, which Yamaha never sends!!! And when I call Yamaha, of course I talk to the voice machine. SUCKS! I've always been a fan of Yamaha, but NOT anymore...

I m facing a problem during Servicing every time. With in 5 month I m facing bettory problem, pickup problem, sound problem, engine problem but But Prince Yamaha Engineers do not solve my problems after too many request. After servicing many times I visited to, Prince Automobiles,9-A, Amar Colony Main Rohtak Road, Nagloi, Delhi-110041 but they do just a formality.

Tried to find www.yamahacustomerfeedback.com - to fill out survey online- but could not locate.
Have a 2007 Stratoliner. Front Head gasket leak at 18,000 miles. Also moisture in the speedometer gage packet. Gage needles sticking until bike warmed up. Took it in to Laurel Yamaha Motorcycles, MS. for warranty repair. When I got it back it was now leaking at top of pushrod cylinder and speedometer gage packet wasn't replaced. Took it back again. They said they would eat the cost this time since MaMa Yamaha did not like paying twice for something that should have been corrected the first time. Got it back and again still leaking at top of pushrod cylinder. Mechanic stated he replaced
all the gaskets but that one. Thought it was still a cylinder head leak. Now wanting to charge for the gaskets to fix. This is warranty work????? Mechanic called yesterday and said it is ready for pick up, but stated he is not sure the problem is completely corrected, but has done all he can do. Still wanting to charge for the new gaskets and now possibly labor. This is the third Yamaha bike I have purchased over the years. Tour Deluxe, Venture, and now the Stratoliner. I have had warrenty issues with all three. Wiring shorts with the Deluxe, 5th dog gear breaking on the Venture, and now this problem with the Stratoliner. When I pay as much or more for one of these bikes as I would for a small car/truck I expect more. Will I purchase another Yamaha. Don't know??? I'll wait until the warranty runs out next year on this one, then decide.

You should definately mention up front that this particular service (Ask Tech Support Now) is not free, even if the question is informational in nature and not a repair question. I was very unhappy to have filled out all of the information only to reach the end portion and find out that my answer would cost $xx.
This baiting the customer is bad for morale.

Recently we purchased a Yamaha FZ, for our company staff,but the inaddition we ordered that front wyzer.But for the last two months we didnt got the wyzer from your dealer(pearls yamaha,RC Puram, medak,hyderabad).The responds from your dealer is they are not getting the spares from the company.Our all staff are using yamaha vehicles only.(16 No.) All of them have the same compliants.

I have purchased Yamaha Gladiator SS from Yamaha Riders , Camp, Pune and since beginning the meter was showing wrong reading. I complained them regarding this, they said there will be some loose contact. Last month they agreed that the fault is with meter. They said they don't have spare part and it will take minimum 20 days to reach them. Last week they asked me to come on Monday (29.08.2011). On Monday they asked me to come on Tuesday and i went there on Tuesday they opened the meter portion and till time they have not completed the work. Now they are saying they don't have manpower to assemble the same and will take two more days to complete he work.

Dear sarvice centre team. Recently i have purchased a szr from alka yamha- koparkhairane branch. I have completed two services but every i am facing their nonsable sarvice. From last two month i can't got the kilometer outer & second thing, last week i was accident with my bike. Unfortunately my bike front handle was cross & i have repaired that fr alka yamha service centre as per their charges. But till this problem is not resolved, when i was drive my bike handle has been gone totally left side. After complaining twice time to them but nobody was try to resolved. Dear Yamaha supporters,

I had been purchased a new Yamaha SZX 153 cc on dt 15/04/011 from Jaipur,
Roshan yamaha Dealer at rajapark , Jaipur. after 15 to 20 days before service
Bike problem has been started (Self Starting problem) i alredy 2 times leave my
bike to the service center, they charged the battery but the problem is same.
Now he says boss go to Mansarover, more than 10 to 15 km far and their Battery
vendor will sort out your problem.Why should i go their ? for says Yamaha
company not support me so kindly sort out my problem.

It means yamaha Company not able to support his customers problems they only
want to sale vehicle with no service.

Just a warning to anyone that plans on buying from Gable Motor Sports Yamaha. Don't buy from them.

A friend of mine bought a brand new Yamaha from the above dealer. The above dealer loaded it with a fork lift and damaged it, but did not stand behind any of the damages and called it "normal for that to happen". Yamaha Motor Co. is standing behind the dealer and supporting them in the matter saying "They're a bunch of good guy's". Here are some direct quotes:
When Taking delivery of a new sled DON'T let them load it with a fork Lift.

YAMAHA MOTOR CORPORATIO could care less about dealer integrity, corruption or customer service...

If a dealer can fudge / fabricate the factory PID form for dealer acceptance, falsify reports ect...

there isn't any integrity from Yamaha from the Vice President of Sales and Marketing down to an unscrupulous dealer scamming people over the internet...

I purchased a new yamaha phazer mtx snowmobile in 2008. There has been an issue with a defective reverse shift since day one. Yamaha has had a so-called fix for it each year and each one hasn't worked. There is now a revised reverse servo motor that is the latest repair. The only problem is that my warranty has run out so they will not do the replacement. I believe that since this has been an issue since day one, they should make it right. They need to replace the defective part in my snowmobile!!

I thought that Yamaha Bikes are the best, but after purchasing most wost in servicing . As my bike r15 is in free servicing period but the service center people never service the bike properly. recently i gave my bike for servicing , i have given the comments as my battery is not working properly and my bike is getting stuck at the middle of the road. but giving of the comments is of no use the have not made it. every time i give some comments about my bike they jut wash my bike and change the service oil and leave the bike even they charge me even i am in free servicing period , if washing is main motto why not i give some were else and wash it with low cost and company should not make such promises that we are in best customer service and we give 1year warranty with free servicing .varanasi agrawal motors is the wost service center in the world
