I want to thank Miss Ashley Beck for her great service at store# 08118 She help me get out of a jam by being patient with me until we found the right part that I needed. You need to give her a raise and I don't mean a ladder so she could stock parts with. Thanks again Ashley for the great service.

Advance Auto Parts on Golf Rd, in Shaumburg, Il provided the best customer service I have received in awhile. I ordered a battery online to pick up at store for installation. They usually don't do installations after dark but they understood my circumstances and did so anyways. I came in 45 minutes before close, it was rainy and cold, and I have a vehicle that the battery isn't very accessible. They could have easily told me no per policy but even with all the bad conditions they still provided excellent customer service, absolutely blown away!

My battery died so i went to Advanced Auto Parts 474 Mount Pleasant Street in New Bedford, MA. Best decision.....Alberto A. was the person who helped me....I cannot tell you how helpful he was. He not only installed my battery in zero degree weather but he went above and beyond and helped my with my cables that were stuck and was outside for over 20 minutes just to help me. I have never in this day and age seen someone so compassionate and kind. Alberto really really saved the day for me. I am completely indebted and kudos to Advanced Auto Parts for hiring this guy. I will go there faithfully from now on even though Auto Zone is across the street. I have never gotten the kind of service anywhere else. Thank You Alberto and Advanced Auto Parts.

I went in to store 6090 to get a thermostat for my Toyota and the guy there was very helpful. I think his name was JJ. He walked out and showed me where the thermostat was on my truck and reminded me that I would need more coolant. Very Friendly and informative.

I would like to take this time to commend one of your associates, for a great job. His name is Ramon R. And he works at store #01801 on 809 East 38th Street, Anderson, Indiana. I needed an antenna for my car, and he spent @ least 45 minutes helping me solve my issue. I feel when someone is more than willing to help you, they should be acknowledged for their efforts. I will definitely refer others, as well as, repeat my business with this store. Thanks for your consideration for me. ~ Jim

I was having problems with my van starting, wasn't sure what the problem was so I went to Advanced Auto in Forsyth, GA. and discovered it was the battery I had purchased 2 years, 11 months ago. Pulled out my charge card to pay for the new battery, can you believe it, they told me to put it away, NO CHARGE, it was still under warranty. Gave me a brand new 3 year battery just like the one I'd purchased. Now, I expected to pay something,but, no. If that battery had lasted 1 more month, warranty would have been no more. George was so nice and I just want to thamk Advance Auto for their super service. You just don't get great service like that anywhere.

Chris Jenkins of store #7028 on Anasastia Island, Florida came to my rescue recently. I locked my handbag and keys in my car. Since it was impossible to unlock my car Chris offered to take me home after he finished working for the day. This was a gesture which he did not have to do and I am so grateful for his help. With employees like Chris your new store on the island should do well. Ginny Stores

The Advance Auto Store on East Market St. in York Pa. has some really good folks working there. My only complaint with the chain is that a reman. starter I bought at AA in Cumberland Md. only lasted a year and a month. On month beyond the warrenty. I'm replacing it with one that is rebuilt locally

The $50 off coupon seems to be a lie. I placed several orders over $100 during one of these promotions and have NEVER received any coupon. This greatly reduces my trust in the company and I now look at other resources to purchase from before I turn back to Advance Auto Parts

AAP, I visited online for getting the parts in time. They cancelled the order for no reason and they didn't intimated me at that point(dissatisfied). After the cancellation done I contacted through email very kind and knowledged employees like Victor M,Ryan impressed and did their best with their team leads and got the parts at my local store in florida as much soon. I regret and I appreciate their help at that time in which I am helpless at that time. Many thanks to them for caring me as their relations. I do shop with AAP almost for my needs before, from now and then. Please convey my thanks. Great Service.

While visiting the store in Mt Airy, Md I had an employee come out to my car in the parking lot and hook up the OBD II tester. Told me what the code was and ways to address the problem. The employee was very knowledgable and friendly. Gave me a printout of prices and part numbers of the items I might need. I have never had customer service like this before. I have been in this store before and have had the opportunity of dealing with other employees and by far this employee is the best one the store has. I will be getting all my parts from him and advice from now on. Thank you Greg

I have been an manager at both Autozone and Advance and both have thier good and bad points. Advance tends to hire people who are more qualified and have more Auto knowledge.Autozone runs a MUCH Tighter ship and has superior information systems.
Advance has a severe problem with thier inventory the sysytems they have in place to move it from store to store and the way they recieve thier re supply from distribution centers is really frightning.
Autozone has a much greater control of this and as such thier inventory is on spot.
Its is a real shame Advance has potential to be a great retailer but with retail you have to maintain inventory control it is all of your assets and they do not have that control.
They should re focus on what is needed to run things right, new information systems, re designing the way thier distribution centers supply stores and stop chasing Autone and the want to be them with thier $375+ stock.
the only thing that stops them from greatness is themselves.
and yes this is only a second job for me, my primary employer in another industry is a market leader so i can view optomistically.

Last Thursday my altenator died on the way home from the Jersey Shore. No less at night about 10 miles from home lights started to dim and wipers went real slow.
Friday morning I called the Advanced Auto Parts 800 order line. I got the help I needed after explaining the situation. The parts were in the store checked on the computer so no worries there. Taking out the old altenator was the problem. No 14MM socket. So off I went to the Store (Fair Lawn, NJ). I got the socket and some Blast to help with loosening the bolt. Back home it worked very quickly. Got the old altenator out and back to the store. I also picked up the replacement belt at the same time. Good idea. They put the old altenator up on the tester. Yes it was dead. Got my $20 credit for the old and out and back home. Took about 15 minutes to get the belt, altenator in place and tight in. Turned car over - runs great. One time with good store service and a bit of knowledgeable help both in store and at order time. Thanks.

SERVICE LINE ----I WAS GREETED BY MIKE
TOLD HIM OF MY PROBLEM AND HE SAID LETS TAKE A LOOK--OK--- WE WENT TO THE, CAR MIKE LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING AND IMMEDIATELY SAID --I THINK I CAN HELP---RETURNED TO THE STORE
GOT A RUBBER SLEEVE --AND ----WOW --PLACED IT
OVER THE TWO HOSES AND SAID THANK YOU

On Wednesday 4/18/12 I was in the Decatur, AL store because I had a problem with my my rear blinker. I wasn't sure if I needed to replace the bulb in the blinker or the break light. Larry Benton was the salesman who helped me. He came out to my car and looked, then told me I needed a new bulb for the blinker. We went into the store and he found the $6.00 part I needed. After I paid for it, he asked if I wanted him to change it out for me. I said yes, and he went and replaced it in less than 5 minutes where it would have taken me 30 minutes to figure out how to do it. Larry would not accept any payment for this at all. What great service I received!

On 4/12/2012, I visited store #1248 in Penn Hills, PA and received excellent service from a Mr. Garen Robinson. He was able to locate the problem that I was having and corrected it within no time. I am grateful for his help. Thank you for employing such knowledgeable employees.

i was in the dearborn store#6074 on friday april 13 and had the pleasure of being helped by Will j. this man went way above and beyond in helping me find a belt for my truck , he spent over an hour searching and comparing belts to find one that would work to get me back to my yard in ann arbor. i had been to 4 other stores before this one and no one would even try to help (the truck is an odd ball truck) Will was both willing and able to do his all for me and the other customers in the store while the other employees seemed to be bothered if they had to help anyone. advance auto is lucky and priviledged to have him on staff . while im not from the area if i am remotely close again i will go out of my way to use this store again .

WOW...I DON'T KNOW WHERE other customers are shopping, but Advance Auto on Gratiot Rd, Saginaw Michigan, knows their Advance Auto Store, their parts, their car expertise, their customer etiquette, their car advice, their machine testing information, their common sense and yours. I don't think I've ever experienced workers who actually communicated with you, not only giving good and solid information with details, but also listening to the customers' concerns and/or ideas to the situation (when I needed them the most)....WOW, LIKE HAVING NEW FRIENDS. I'M SO APPRECIATIVE TO COTY AND ROSLIN for their kindness and expertise and just want everyone to know it. Thanks again! As long as I have the means to pay for parts, this is where I'll buy.

Nathan at the Lowell store is awesome. He knows what I need and gives me options for parts when I'm on a budget. He has one of the cleanist stores I know of and his staff is always happy. Thanks dude!

The Advance Auto Store in our area is right down the street and we frequent this location often. I wanted to take a moment to comment on how AWESOME it is to see Harvey and Max working when I come through the front door. I know they will get me the right part the first time, with humor and a smile. They enjoy their work and it shows.

The young gentlemen name Paul on the Deans Bridge Rd in Augusta Georgia was polite and very helpful. He made sure I got the battery that I needed for my car. He was wonderful with all his customers. I will start coming to the Deans Bridge store for now on.
