I went to Advance Auto Store on Friday in my town of Lafayette TN and a cute white girl helped me and she was so polite and helpful and smiled alot. She got the part I needed and rang me up and even got me a coupon to use. Now that is business smart. I will come back when I need to buy another part.

yesterday i went to advance store #06070 and spoke to a young gentleman by the name of sergio he was very helpfull with installing my headlights and my wiper blades he also seemed to be very knowledgeable about the difference between advance premium brake pads and autozone brake pads needless to say i bought them and so far what he said about them seems correct. he also recommended i buy the seafoam product of the month they had on sale and he even put it in my car for me it made a tremendous amount of smoke but after that i could really feel the difference. i have been an autozone costumer for 10 yrs. now and long story short as long as he works there i will continue to purchase my auto parts from advance auto parts.

I visited store #08495 on Baymeadows Road on 1/9/2012 and was assisted by Brian and Martin. Both young men were really great. They assisted me with the purchase and installed the product. I will use this store again, I just hope these two young men are there when I do.

I was at Advanced auto in Colonie NY tonight. It was 18 degrees and I am a middle aged woman with 2 kids and a sick husband in the car. I went in for some oil as my Toyota is leaking it. A young man named Chris helped me. He was polite, kind and very helpful. He insisted on coming out to my car and checking it out for me . He stood in the cold and checked and filled my oil for me. I am so thankful that there are people like Chris out there.I guess it's fair to say I am a very satisfied customer. Thanks Chris and Advanced auto!

i was at the store #9478 . my battery was dead and machine say it need charing the sales rep. had taken out the battery and charge it and it wasn't advance battery . he charge it for free and show me i had a draw on my systerm way to advacne team

Advanced Auto O'Fallon Mo Hwy K location. Needed to find out if my car was 3 or 4 speed was told by associate (Larry & Gene) that the only way to know was to look at transmission cover and count bolts I asked them if they could do that (I am disabled) Gene just walked away and Larry said "sorry but I'm not getting under there" at that point an associate I beleive her name was Stephanie came walking up and said "no worries I will go look" and so she did, she didnt even have to get under car she was able to just glance up and see what was needed, she then came back in and printed me up a sheet to keep in my car for future reference, meanwhile Ol' Larry is in back looking for my part and had no clue what he was looking for then another woman associate named Paula came to my rescue and explained that there were 2 sensors and I needed a more detailed computer read out to determine which one, the service of these 2 woman was above and beyond while the men stood around and keep repeating...we just dont know...we dont have a clue! Kudos to these 2 ladies!

sorry i did not make time to send positive remarks on 5/7/10 i got stuck in pensacola ,but live in orlando ,my battery needed charging and avery nice person name David helped me i recieved a loaner bettery, thank u David store was near route 29 /and 90 thank u again .chris

This website was very useful to me, while I was doing a homework research project.

But on a more personal note, I like advanced auto parts. And can think of no recent trumatic episodes. As a woman that loaths going in to any auto parts store. If I just have to do it and go in the auto store. Advanced Auto Parts would be one of my top preferences.

On Tuesday evening, 11/8/11, I went to the stoe on Summer Ave near Berclair in Memphis, TN. It was after 7:00 PM and I had a simple request to help me find the correct battery terminal connection for my wife's 2008 Xterra. A young man I beleive his name was James not only found the correct part but assited me in installing it at the store. the part cost $3.70 tax and all but the service cannot have a money value on it. This young man represented your company in such a positve way. i just hope this encourage people to share their knowledge and a little time.

I'm a middle age women, which needs help when it comes to cars. I was in the pittsfield store on monday Oct.24 2011. I spoke to a guy by the name of John. He was extremely helpful. He narrowed the problem down and went outside to fix them both. (headlights)I will definatly shop at that store and spread the word. It was such a comfort to have headlights as we really do need them.....It was close to getting dark....Thank you to John in pittsfield......:)

I would just like to say that I was very pleased with the service I received at Advanced Auto Parts store (1996) in St. Louis, Mo. I was in sort of a dilemma because I had made a purchase in early July 2011 for a headlight and had thrown away my receipt thinking I wouldn't need it, only to find out later I would need it for a court document. I called the store and Tracy answered. She represented the best customer service...I told her I needed a reprint of a receipt and she didn't hesitate to help me! I was very impressed that she took time to look through the system for what I needed, she was very patient and she exemplified some of the best customer service skills that I've seen in a long, long time. Tracy's customer service skills is the reason our businesses stay in business, she cares...and it shows. She could have very well told me there was nothing she could do, but instead, she helped me. I had to call back at different times to the store for more information, and not one time did she sigh as a sign of irritation what so ever! She asked me throughout the phone conversations if she could put me on hold to search out information on what I needed and I didn't mind at all, because I knew she was helping me...on occasion, she would come back to the phone or ask Erica to come back to the phone to check on me just to let me know that they haven't forgotten about me! Now how cool is that! You don't find that anywhere anymore! Good customer service is what businesses lack today. Customers would enjoy shopping at stores with great customer service and knowledgable employees, rather than those stores who lack good customer service. Fewer dollars are spent in stores that lack customer service skills in my opinion. To top off all of this goodness, the reprint of the receipt that Tracy provided me saved me $77.50! Tracy and Erica are kind people and they deserve recognition for a job well done.

We live in Ga. My son and husband were getting ready to go out to Emporia, Virgina the next morning to deliver a mobile home.
My husband could not remember the name of the hotel he stayed at years ago. so he called advance auto in our home town, to get the phone number to the adance in Emporia, he called and spoke to Byan Barbour to find out what the name of hotel was, Byan was very helpful and told my husband that he could park the truck in their parking lot for they had great security, so We would like to thank Bryan for all his assitance.the

MY 1992 chev. Z71 pickup drove like a wild Bronco!!!BWD parts from Advance(don't buy that brand)!!!I've repaired vehicles since 1967 and never had a ride like BWD gave me!!!

The Advance Auto Parts store in Poquoson, Virginia has been my main source of parts for several years. Since I have two classic cars that need constant attention Advance is where I go. Not once in all the years have I been disappointed in the parts or service. Last week I came in with a particularly unusual problem with my car which Wes Holt jumped on immediately as if it was his own personal car. Needless to say Wes solved the problem plus gave me some excellent advice on another one of my car problems. With that kind of service I will continue to be an Advance customer.

I deal with Advance store Number 6659 on Woodruff Road @Five Forks Community.I am A very limited small business and that said, Employee Les and Rick always treat me as if I were a corporation when I need service of any kind,We joke around like family and when it comes to business they are very knowledgeable and prompt and professional.There was also another good guy there who has now since gone to the Laurens road store,his name was(is) Anthony.Les seems to really know the field of mechanics.He is ,I would consider,An exceptional asset to the company as well as Rick because of exercised professionalism.Please foward this to those whom would use this rating to the best benefit of the company and its employees.Thanks Sincerely,Rick Massengale(Rick's Auto Repair)and friends.

I had been trying to locate a gas cap for my 1978 VW Beetle. Stopped by your store #09526 in Spring Hill Florida Mon. 2/28 and asked if they could help me. Chris D stepped right up and advised it was available but not in the store. But he said he would pick it up in the morning and have it for me the next day. Sure enough, I stopped by this morning and he had it set aside for me, let me try it and problem solved, it fits perfectly. This is the second time I have dealt with Chris and he is friendly, courteous, patient and willing to work with a customer. Excellent product knowledge, positive and cordial. He definitely knows what "Real Customer Service" is! Great asset to your establishment, I will definitely be back.

I was having car trouble and I limped my car to the nearest automotive store which happened to be Advanced Auto Parts(off of Alameda Parkway in Lakewood, Colorado). Being female and not very "auto-savvy" I was concerned that I would be mis-directed and sold something I didn't need. An employee, Dave, was very polite without being condensending and took over 40 minutes to help me figure out and problem solve my cars issue. He even showed me and explained how to do the repair myself. I had to go back and another employee, Terance, was also very helpful. He also took his time in exlaining to me how to problem solve my cars quirks. They really were sincere and helpful with their customer service. Because of these two employees, I will tell all my friends to shop there.

To whom it concerns. Over the thanksgiving vacation I was making a trip to Florida to see my son. On my way my car had broken down along route 77 south at Hillsville Virgina. My pulley Idler gave out on my Pontiac Grand am. A tow truck brought my car and put it outside one of your stores. We stayed there the rest of the night waiting for your store to open up. When entering the store a met your employee Tracy B. I told him of my situation and I was there with out any tools. Tracy was out standing with willingness to help me solve my problem. He was not even punched in at the time but went out of his way help me get on my way. I could have been there much longer than necessary but of his efforts it only took me about an hour and I was on my way. He not only help me there, He also guided me to a garage to fix a tire that was going flat. It is people like this that should be recognize for there efforts. I am a contractor who had employees, and I always made an effort to acknowledge them when they did things like Tracy. Tracy works at Store #02117 119 North Main St. Hillsville Va.24343
