Poor customer service. Have had five and won't have another.

BMW india kun motors not responding properly n they don't care about customer's problems. At the same time they make lots of delay fulfilling the customer's needs. It's totally disappointing we never expected this from BMW.The local players are doing better customer's service than BMW. I will not recommend to friends/relatives go for BMW. It's very sad affair that we have chosen BMW.

I just got X5 2021 and I already got tech support 4 time and biggest issue is water leak from ceiling after rain
Dealer said they check everything but they couldn't find any and they said come back getting service when water is dripping from the ceiling lol.
It sounds really stupid

I took my bmw 2 series to rybrook in Wolverhampton for a service. I drove the car from the garage and within 1 mile the engine management light came on so I called them straight away and explained the light was on but the car was not in limp home mode. I was told straight away that it couldn't be to do with the service it could have developed an engine fault while it was with them. I took the car back on the following Monday and collected a courtesy car, I stressed that I strongly believed that there was a sensor not reset from the service as the car was not in limp home mode. I stressed that the invoice stated they had looked at the emissions sensor and I believed that that was the problem. I collected my car the following day and had no explanation of what was wrong but the invoice just said reset and repair. I left after checking the engine light was not on and was just grateful it had been sorted. I received a call the following day and a text telling me they wanted to give me an update on my vehicle so I called them back. Again, the receptionist was argumentative with me. Her name was Laura and after initially not knowing why I had been called, she proceeded to tell me that the call was for customer service feedback. I said I was not happy and instead of saying she was sorry to hear this, Laura just said why not? So I went on to tell her the details, being told it was nothing to do with the service and then the inconvenience of having to collect and drop off a courtesy car and Laura continued to tell me that it wasn't to do with the service, the car had developed a fault. So I asked why the invoice had not stated a fault but just reset? I felt
that Laura was not listening and her attitude was almost argumentative rather than customer focused. I still have not been told what was wrong with my car, shocking. I will not be using rybrook Wolverhampton again and I will also make sure my husband and friends who drive bmw never use them either. BMW are employing young girls who they think will attract sales rather than staff who know what they are talking about or at least have good customer skills. Very disappointing.

My experience with BMW was horrific to say the least. My vehicle having knocking and shaking issue which related to the engine and gearbox damages. I have bring this issue to the BMW Malaysia and did mentioned to the authorities dealer as well. Please note that I bring the issue to the authorities service center before the expiry of the warranty. They holding my vehicle for several months and the end told me that they only cover the 40% of the repair cost, and I have to bear with the 60%. This really makes me disappointed with BMW brand, including their quality, safety and credibility. The vehicle problem is due to mechanical damage and it related to the quality and safety issue. But BMW Malaysia and the authorities dealer Auto Bavaria were shifting responsibility. I would never purchase BMW vehicle again. They are irresponsible and service also very sucks. Their technician from the AUTO BAVARIA ARA DAMANSARA MALAYSIA (authorities dealership) also not professional, they didn't really diagnose the vehicle problem seriously. Really a bad experience from BMW Malaysia.

I'm not pleased with my bmw purchase, when I brought the car it looked fine but once I got it home I started noticing chip paint everywhere, then I noticed my car was in a accident, I contacted the dealer they claim they didn't do it & the car never was in a accident I see the two toned paint in the back of the car.. When I open my driver side doorI can see they spray painted it.. Now my right back lights not working I just brought the car in January @ Creaver BMW dealer in Sant Anna I'm 2021!it's a 2018, now I need a major tune up that's going cost $1000, hell they didn't know that when they sold me the car, not to mention the car cost me 50,000.. I get mad every time I think about it & the warranty sucks!!!! I'm done with BMW!!!!!

Customer service in this company sucks. I've asked numerous times I have my niece take him back I do not want to car. The last episode of 90° weather my daughter with down syndrome my dog we're in the car for a half hour without air-conditioning. Thankfully they didn't die but the service of this company is awful do not buy or lease

My experience with BMW Customer relations was horrific to say the least. I have a 2006 325i that I purchase from a used dealership in 2012. In 2017 the Passenger restrain malfunction indicator came up on the navigation display. I contacted BMW to inquire about this and they said there was no recalls of coverage for this faulty part and it would be my responsibility to pay to get it fixed. As a result, I decided not to sell the car (with this malfunction indicator it was not worth a fraction of what a wanted for the car). Instead, I decided to use as a commuter. My once low mileage car was now racking up the miles. Fast forward to May 2, 2021, I was contacted by BMW about a recall event. I spoke to BMW of Ontario where they explained what recall work would be performed on my car based on the VIN #. They also mentioned that cars were being recalled for various reasons, one of which was the Passenger restrain system malfunction. I said to the service person at Ontario BMW, "That is what I've been wanting to get fixed. He responded saying the recall for that particular item was not available on my vehicle. He explained further, that my particular vehicle had an extended 15 year warranty (for the passenger restraint system) that expired in October of 2020 and directed me to BMW customer relations to see what they could do about honoring the previously warrantied item. I contacted customer relations and spoke to a gentlemen by the name of Cameron who advised me to take my car to BMW and have a diagnostic done to determine whether the warrantee was covering the part that was actually faulty. Evidently, there are several reasons/parts that could cause this type of malfunction. According to Cameron, once completed, BMW would then decide if they would still cover all or a percentage of the repair now that the warrantee was expired. The diag. was completed and the problem was determined to be one that WAS previously covered by this extended warrantee. I contacted BMW back, as instructed by Cameron. I spoke to a different representative who told me that it would not be covered at all and apologized that I received the false information. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor (Brandon #7745) contacted me later that day only to tell me that expired warrantees are NEVER honored. I explained to him the safety issue. I explained to him the misdirection I experienced in 2017 and what it cost me as a result. I explained to him the further misdirection on May 2, 2021 and what it cost me. He was unwilling to lend any assistance in the matter and in so many words said he was the highest level of decision making and this would fall on deaf ears if brought any further. He made no attempt to compensate me for any repairs, loss of time, etc. It was just a simple NO. I asked if expired warrantees are NEVER honored, why would Cameron lead me down this rabbit hole in the first place? Thank you Brandon and Cameron of BMW North America for your amazing customer service. Not only was I misdirected twice by your company, these mistakes cost me on the resell value as well. It was not my fault a bad component was placed in the car. It was not my fault I was told nothing could be done about it when something could have been. It was not my fault I was advised to get a diag. done on the vehicle and it is not my fault you hire employees that don't know what they are talking about and ill-advise their customers. Keep up the good work!

I've had 2 Mercedes and on my third BMW. Both cars
Drive very well , each are distinctive in their own way.
Your satisfied as a driver with both car brands.... So what separates them.... Customer service! Mercedes Benz doesn't have poor customer service but BMW of the mainline goes above and beyond EVERY time. Specifically Debbie Schmitt. First seat to your left when you walk through the door. Her level of professionalism and care sperstes her for me. The entire BMW family takes care of you when you bring your vehicle in or if a customer has a question or need..... I've seen several occasions inwhich she goes the extra mile not just fore but for other customers.... This level of care separates BMW from other luxury brands?

I'm very disappointed with bmw if Peoria IL . I took my car in for radio problem and they tell me my amp was bad and it would be 2700 to fix my radio . So I get on line find a cheaper price on the amp call them to install it and they tell me I didn't buy it from them so they can't install it . I then call BMW of Bloomington IL and they said they would install it now this is owned by the same company long story short the only problem with my stereo was a crossed line so I spent 1100 dollars for a amp I didn't need I feel they be price gouging there costumers .

BWM repossesses cars before 90 days. They no regard for Veterans. BMW combined attorneys fees with car note so that a disabled veteran could not pay car note. Their business practices are illegal. If you work with BMW, protect yourself.

I misplaced my Fob (key). Bmw Roadside assistance would not remotely turn on my car because I couldn't remember a password from 3 years ago. My car was towed to a closed dealership. 2 days later Dealership refused to order new Fob until they could see a current registration form. DMV closed due to virus. 5 days later , I've been emailed a current registration form. Bmw won't accept it because it doesn't have a name on it. Bmw dealership has the receipt that I bought the car in cash. Still no Fob . Stranded out of town for 7 days so far.

Eric Clark is bmw Rockville does not have any customer service experience from my interaction with him and a rip off. After diagnosing my car he sent me false invoice to buy a new battery however, I had just replaced my battery 3 weeks prior. I had to correct him and he apologized and told me the battery replacement was from my previous visit. OMG! What if I had not replaced the battery 3 weeks prior? I would have been a naive victim of his scam. Not sure why he did that but that is crazy. Again, he was supposed to send me a ride back after my car got fixed, he didn't return any of my calls or text. I realized that the Rockville BMW location would close in less that an hour, I paid my Uber to the location to pick up my car. I always get GREAT service at the Rockville location but not sure why Eric Clark decided to be a dick to me on 2.28.2020

BMW doesn't answer questions. I have called the customer care. They could offer no solution to my problem. They took my details and promised to have a genius call me back but no luck. As expected no one called back.

All along, I think the service that BMW provides to customers is excellent until the rescue service last time provided to me completely changed my view of BMW. On May 21, 2016, my BMWi3 was out on the road Failure, so I dialed a BMW roadside assistance call, BMW employees asked to provide towing service for me, BMW official propaganda within 40 minutes will drag my car away, however, I waited for nearly a half hour my car To be towed away, if you know in advance is such a situation, I will call a professional car road rescue company to provide services for me.

A BMW dealership in Riverside ravaged my vehicle on a recent visit. They broke my inside door handle, my antenna and stole a BMW insignia from one of my wheels. Everything got fixed except the antenna. They asked me to pay for the repair because the antenna was an after market part and not an official BMW antenna. They refused to call me back and customer service representatives (Alex x7682 and Misha x7418) refused to escalate the matter and basically told me to pound sand because there is nothing they can do because the dealer is a franchise of BMW and not a "corporate dealership." This is a true story.I will never buy another BMW or have my car serviced by BMW as long as I walk this planet. I will spend the rest of my life down talking the company to everyone I meet. By the way, I was a service department consultant for 20 years. I know what is good service and what is not good service. BMW provides lousy service and they will never have my trust or business again. I urge all of you to dump this company and not patronize them in any way.

Negative: I used to express my concern for not being able to access my account for five consecutive days. Each time, I was promissed to receive an email information to help access my account. No email and no response to my request!

The manager never seemed to be ready to get back to me! It is a shame and those managers need to be fired for not doing their job correctly.

Positive: I used and had a great pleasure to talk to GINGER who solved my problem within five minutes, with laughter and sense of humor!

BMW Group should be proud of having GINGER as an Outstanding employee!

I went to BMW to fix the roof window(Panoramadach) of my BMW E61.It was blocked(engine disabled from the circuit) - WITHOUT MY CONSENT- by BMW in order to prevent me from opening the roof and cause additional damage.Once I got there, the told me that they want 100 euros just to unblock it and 1200 euros(600 for the parts, 600 for the work) to fix it.I paid them to unblock it, but they didn't do that and didn't want to refund me.At the end I took my time to understand what was wrong with the roof.I have re-enabled the engine, took my tools and fixed everything in 3 HOURS by myself.Guess what?NO PART WAS REPLACED EXCEPT A SMALL SPRING!My panoramic roof now works just like a completely new one.

In addition to this, the engine of the car presented several problems(I know it because I and my mechanic (an indipendent one, not connected with BMW)have noticed them), but when I went to BMW for a general check up, they told me that everything was fine.

We have and accident with our X1 and we left our car to Distributor Service in Turkey in order to have original service. After we got back our car we noticed that the windows are not working properly which were working very properly before service interposition. (our accident and damage was in the back side of the car). When we turn back to service they told us that there is a technical part which must be changed for windows and in order to excuse us they offered us to pay only %50 of it. Of course we did not accept paying because of a service mistake. We tried to contact with customer several times and they always say that they are investigating the problem. It has been 2 months that our windows are not working properly and our car is blocked in BMW service. what a dreary situation that Big German Brand BMW ia absent against such unfair situation. They are kind untill they sell thier car, no professionalism after sales.
