Using the 800 # I was able to ask for representative (live person) and she had the tracking # I had previously spoken in the systen (so I didn't have to "start over")

Although she didn't have a reason why the delivery hadn't been made she did make notes and was helpful.

****Great service provided in Pueblo Colorado*** DHL driver came to my house and I was not home, since they require someone be home to sign for the package and can't leave it at my door, the driver checked with several neighbors and one of the neighbors down the road signed for my package. I am very satisfied with that, because I needed it that same day, and wasn't going to be home during the week to sign for a package. I wish more delivery companies followed these standards. I was glad not to have my package left at the door for someone to steal. The driver even left me a voicemail that he delivered the package to the neighbor in addition to putting the same information on the note he left at my door. Best delivery experience I've ever heard of in my opinion.

The representative was nice and solved my problem. didn't have to wait at all and when choosing through options when i first called the voice record understood everything i said instead of having to press the numbers corresponding. emailing inquire did not give me good service though, still waiting for an email back.

We are very pleased with the services. Prompt collection from South Africa and delivery to New Zealand. There were no issues or problems allong the way.
With very crucial private/personal documents such as these, we feel DHL is the most trust worthy thus far.

Kind and sufficient assistance from Customer Enquiry Advisor, Connie Hlophe from South Africa, as well as another lady from New Zealand whose name I unfortunately can not remember.

We were advised with which steps to take and options best suited our specific request/requirements. Payments were relatively simple, and once it reflected in their account, everything went smooth sailing...

I was Tracking My Package from China. I ordered it on the 9th of Sept 2012. There was some confusion reading the tracking bill, so I dialed Customer Service..(The 800 # AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE).After the automated voice guy did his introduction, I simply said "speak to an agent" within seconds I was Speaking with Elisa ext 3822. She was quite helpful with taking care of all my needs and answering all of my questions. I was told that this Package was to be recieved 3-5 days after processing my order. It will be here today thanks to DHL. I am not sure what all of the poor reviws are about as I found nothing to be consistent with the complaints regarding delivery,the dispatch,and the customer service.

I use them when I purchase things from Asian countries. No problem, fast delivery in 4 days. tracking available and friendly customer service. Yes I happened to look up a customer service number for tracking info and noticed to mane unsatisfied customers.
The bottom line only a few happy customers leave their positive feedback, why... waste of time. And the ones that did not receive it on time that's the nature of shipping and handling. Just be patient you will receive It I am sure.

Anticipating a special document delivery from UK via DHL. The service I received could not have been better. I spoke with an articulate, well-informed young woman who gave. Clear directions on my options. I don't anticipate any problems.

Please do not change the dispatch guy(named Ken) to other areas/zone/estate because his service toward VSL Singapore Pte Ltd (woodlands industrial estate) is excellent.He is fast,responsive,courtesy, polite & humble.Such kind of courier service dispatch is benefit for the company. PLEASE DO NOT SWOP HIM TO OTHER AREAS ESTATE. THANKS YOU

There are a lot of different divisions of DHL, if your package is shipping within canada, you have to call Loomis......if its dhl global mail it delivers by the post office dhl express is international only if you are in the US dont use dhl.com use dhl-usa.com and the phone # is under the contact us link at the top right corner of the page. Customer service for DHL express is located here in the US either in Tempe AZ or Boise Id although the reps I talk to in Boise are better as far as knowledge and how to talk to customers. Angie S in Boise really knows her business so hopefully you get her when you call.

I am lucky..my customer service rep was very quick and very helpful, as well as courteous. I called the number above, hit 0 3x's as the person above requested, and that worked great. Got a representative right away...and it's 5:15 on a Sunday evening.

I would like to say how pleased we have been with DHL services. We had a parcel picked up at our home in Liverpool, England on the 4th of October going to our daughter in South Korea. They recieved the parcel on Friday afternoon their time which is early morning here. I had to come to this site to find the customer service phone # -- it was not to be found on their site. When I did call though, I pressed 0 1x to bypass the automated system, did get passed to another level of automated system which I did tell my tracking # to. I had already tracked an international package on line that was labeled "on hold" -- this must have shown up, & I was immediately passed to a live rep who know exactly what was going on & I had my info & was off the phone -- the whole process took less than 5 minutes, which is much better than I was expecting. My only complaint is that I couldn't get the number from their web site to begin with -- so glad I found it here.

Actually I was wary as well, sending a package to China, but the phone service is really great. Just hit 0 a few times, past the scam menus, and you get a real person, very knowledgeable.

My only complaint is this:

I shipped 2 boxes to the same place, one via post office, 66 dollars, and DHL cost 178 for a smaller, lighter box! Here is why:

DHL only allows RUSH shipments internationally. But, often international packages get held up in customs for up to two weeks. So its kind of unfair.

A more fair solution, (since DHL will not offer standard service, obviously to make more profits) is lower the charges to normal shipping rate "if" there are customs hold ups, say more than 24-48 hours.

That seems fair for all parties, DHL makes max profit, customers don't get ripped.

DHL is better than fedx why you ask i use dhl from nicaragua to miami. There never was a problem. my son just sent me a very important doc. from miami via fedx on monday i might get it fri hello fri is to late with DHL its 24 hrs yes true i use DHL they are more professional and on time when it counts

I will have to disagree. I was absolutely dreading calling by reading the last few. Now granted, I do not have my package yet, but I think thats more of a supplier issue. I called, it took a couple voice prompts when it didnt recognize my tracking number, it gave me to someone who could deal with international shipments, she was very helpful and informative...I feel like the call was a success. Phone call worked great. I hit "0," told the system "two packages" when it tried to get me to use the automated system to track the package, and talked to a human-- all within about 45 seconds.
