I was embarrassed to return a pair of walking shoes I bought over christmas..A clerk at the Las Vegas Meadows Mall Dillard's shoe dept. commented loudly about my return and made me feel more embarrassed. However, after being called, the Manager came and handled the return with great respect to me. I am very happy that Dillard's trains their management that the customer comes first. He made me feel more important than the pair of shoes. I have shopped at Dillard's for over 25 years and because of him I will shop another 25 years at Dillard's. Thank you. M. Adams

A womans department employee with the innitials of MC at the Paducah Kentucky store has really made a difference in my life. I have a hard time finding bathing suits and she spent the time helping me find the right fit not only once but on 3 different occasions. She had also helped me find dresses that flattered my figure. I took these items on my cruise and came back with a ring. I got on Dillards.com when I got home and ordered a wedding dress in a size 8 which was the largest size that they offered online. I loved the dress but needed a 10. She helped locate a store that had it and helped me get a phone order to have it shipped to my home so I didn't have to go on a 4 hour round trip to pick it up. I frequent that store and every time I see her she is helping someone, and I mean really helping them. It has been a long time since I have seen anyone take such an interest in their job, and serving the public as she does. The store is worth visiting just to remind us all of how things used to be when your entered a department store. Thank you Dillards and thank you MC.

I WENT TO DILLARDS AT COASTAL GRAND MALL IN MYRTLE BEACH AND WAS VERY PLEASE. AN EMPLOYEE NAMED MARGIE WAS FABULOUS. I TOLD HER WHAT I WANTED AND SHE MADE SURE SHE FOUND THE EXACT RED WEDGE SOES I WAS LOOKING FOR TO GO WITH MY PURSE. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE ME FEEL REAL WELCOME. IWAS SO HAPPY THAT I HUGGED HER. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I WILL BE BACK. THANKS MARGIE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I shopped at the Dillards in Goodlettesville, TN on June 24, 2011. I called ahead of time and requested assistance with the purchase of a new wardrobe. Ms. Linda Porter, in the Women's Dept. spoke with me on the phone and had pulled several items of clothing for me to try on prior to my visit at the store. Ms. Porter worked with me for nearly four hours, running back and forth, finding correct sizes for me, giving her opinions about how the clothing looked on me, etc. She was wonderful. Such a sweet spirit and so very helpful. She never lost patience with me even though I am sure I must have tried her patience as I found something wrong with nearly everything I tried on. I would tell any woman looking for help with their purchase to ask for Ms. Porter to assist them. I was surprised to read so many negative comments about other Dillard sales associates on this website. I hope Dillards will reward Ms. Porter with a raise in pay for the excellent service she provides and perhaps management should have Ms. Porter train the new associates. Ms. Linda Porter, you are awesome!

I have shopped Dillards for many years. About 15 years ago I went out of my way to write you concerning your Red Bird Dillards.It was not complimentary. Today I decided tit for tat. I went online at home and searched for 3 hours to find out if I was wearing the correct bra size for me. I got every answer you could conceive of. So... I decided to go to Dillards in Cedar Hill and buy all the sizes I was told. When I got to that dept. THe young Lady I spoke with was nice but not helpful all of a sudden a Lady said I know what size you are and I said "really?' I was very skeptical that she could look at me and tell my size. She got A Wacoal bra and said come back here. She helped me don the bra and lo and behold it was the happiest I've been in 40 years. Well, maybe not that much, but, I was pleased. I wore that bra out of the store and bought 2. The young Lady's name is Jessica. She is a treasure and I do hope you relate to her how very much I appreciate her and the bra. I look so good I may just go get a social life now. lol Sincerely, mary Wilkins

I was ordering by phone, but using the website. I needed help finding the sku# of a dress, plus I needed help looking for an additional gift. When I asked if she could help me The sales rep said the Co. didn't like them using the computer amd that her job wa only to take the item no.'s! when I asked for the supervisor she humg up on me! I called back and got Supervosor Cindy Polino. She was a doll and made up for the previous deplorable "service". Due to Cindy's friendliness and help, I will return to Dillards....otherwise, hello Nordstrom!! Thank you Cindy!--Melanie Cialella

All my experiences have been top notch at Dillard's.

I think some of the customers seem to require more than the normal customers maybe should.

All in all, I have gotten exactly what I expected or more at each of the Dillard's stores I have visited.

Recently I was shoping at the Oxmoor store and found a bedspread and matching pieces. While at the counter I used my Dillards credit card and somehow with all my packages and all I left me wallet at the counter. You have a wonderful employee by the name of Terry Brederson working for you. She called me and held on to my wallet till I could retreive it the next day. I visit that dept.frequently and have noticed Ms. Brederson before always attentive to customers and always busy. I'd love for you to give her some sort of special attention for being such a wonderful person and employee. Lord only knows that she could have done otherwise.
