I have been ordering directly from EPSON for years. But lately the packaging is just becoming sloppier and sloppier. I have been letting it pass since it's just a few ink cartridges here and there. This time I ordered a full set of ink that shipped in this thin crimped cardboard that I only see used on albums. The ink was crushed probably right there and then at the warehouse, what's crazy is that they actually shipped it like that.

And yeah they ship FedEX with the cheapest option possible, because it does all this lovely back and forth on FedEx facilities. It used to get here on 2 days. Now, you are actually lucky if it does ship within 3-4 days.

Posted by Return Policy is Not Good

Epson's return policy includes a $1,200 hold on your credit card for a non-functional product that you have already paid for. They don't supply packaging either. I will never purchase another product from Epson and would not recommend them to anyone.

Using people who think they are special because they played a sport as spokesman for your products is a joke. Who don't you hire military vets who actually mean something to our country and would be appreciated

I am disappointed with your printers in one and only one particular area, i.e., incompatibility with Windows 10 photo printing. I've have ET3700 and and ET3710. The 3700 has worked well for 3+years. Recently, it would not print multiple photos on one page through the Windows 10 app. Exhausting all remedies, I assumed the printer was defective and bought a new ET 3710, only to find the same problem. I finally came to conclude that the old product would not work because of software upgrades, and the new new product would not work because it already reflected the upgrades. Both printers were driven by HP desktops. I dusted off an old Dell laptop and found that both printers worked just fine. Your products simply will not operate as upgraded, rendering them useless to anyone with HP desktops (and perhaps other models). You do a great disservice to your customers, costing them with significant and otherwise unnecessary costs.

My EPSON ET-2750 is, by far, the worst printer I have ever owned. I've never gotten anywhere with EPSON and give up on that.
EVERY time I print, it is a bad print and I have to do a nozzle check, head cleaning and powers cleaning ro get a clear print. All ECO-TANKS (ha!) are at least 3/4 full. Aside form this, the design requires super-power eyesight in order to see the teeny little screen. I use a magnifying glass. And I would be OK with that if the damn thing worked. As in PRINTED. Can't even sell it, with any integrity.
A true POS?

I am going to drive to your company and throw this POS Workforce Pro WF-4830 through your window!!! 60 Fing dollars for ink?! And it barely can print a 1000 pages if your lucky?! What a scam!

oh good lord where should i begin , Well its not the first time i had to call but i will say this is the last and just so everyoe gets to read this i will post on facebook. I called due to clogged ink nozzles never had this had with other printer and that was a brother which was fantastic but this is a wf3620 and alot of problems but also when you call epson communications makes it worse, They cannot hear or spell and they refuse to listen o what your trying to tell them . So Epson i regret to tell you since you really dont even keep any place where where you can get a epson printer repair only a jackass would buy another one and continue doing business with a limp tard company like yours

I wish I had read the reviews on this website before purchasing my printer. I am a small business owner and needed a printer that would print 11x17 in color (in addition to normal-sized documents). I've had nothing but problems since the beginning:
1) The printer sucks in too many pages at once, so it prints half of the page on one page and half on another (this happens regularly)
2) The paper constantly gets jammed
3) The print quality is terrible - prints with lines through everything, and looks like the ink bled - creates almost a shadow effect

Customer service is terrible. The person on the phone with me to "trouble shoot" is extremely rude and condescending and apparently does not know what he/she is doing. I've spent over an hour on the phone, and I'm now on hold. Who has time for this? This is a brand new printer and should not be having all these issues. I've already been told by the "trouble shooter" that no refunds are offered - only replacements. This is such a horrible way to treat small businesses.

Purchased the wf-3720 back in November. Previously had an Epson photo printer which worked great. This one not so much. Consistently goes offline so have to reboot it, sometimes once a day. Also consistently feeds 5-10 sheets of paper through when I'm trying to print 1 page. Print quality and speed are great, but when I have to take time to constantly fix the printer it's just not worth it.

Just purchased a 2710 printer. The install process was abysmal. It took me over 2.5 hours of trying to interpret the instructions which turned out to be pictoral and incorrect. The kicker was the terrible wifi process which did not make sense, nor did it work.

Terrible introduction back to your products Epson.

Warning. Last firmware update locked out all but epson ink. I have a WF-4734 that has been working fine until I foolishly did the last firmware update. Now my ink (not epson) had been working just fine but now is un recognized. Called customer support. Solution you have to use epson ink. Ink would cost almost as much as printer. Clearly a scam. Will join class action and never buy epson again.

30 days is not enough time to fight with Epson's TERRIBLE connectivity and software problems and return the POS equipment for a refund. EPSON is a scam.

False Advertising stating 2 years worth of ink in the box. Does not print to satisfaction, color copies is my main work and come out didn't shade than the original color on file, the red comes out orange the pink looks more of a red shade. Tried return told contact manufacturer when contacted Epson they refuse to give me a refund they said they DO NOT DO REFUNDS! Forcing the product on us after spending half a grand! Past dissatisfied and disgusted with the customer service on the phone. Will be taking to court as only option left. Seriously avoid purchasing Epson having in mind one day you might need customer service and theirs is not one to satisfy customers! You'd end up with a migraine and your money gone to waste.

Tons of bad reviews that I see out here!
Here comes another one!

I ordered 3 ink cartridges online by printer model number, like I always do, but received the wrong ink. I did not notice they were the wrong ones until I opened one of them and installed it next to an older one and that's when I noticed it was a different number. I tried to see if the printer would accept it anyway but it would not so I called customer service. I was told they would refund the purchase price of only two of the three cartridges and that I had to pay for shipping back to the company and then reorder. In the end, that means that I've paid for shipping three times to get my correct order that was not my fault in the first place, if in fact I receive the correct order this next time. It makes me wonder if I should even order from them again. Bad business practices!!!

It is truly a shame that your product cannot keep up with Apple/ Mac's updates. I have had an Epson printer for 10 years and now have to purchase another printer ( not Epson) because you do not have the driver support for Apples updates. It is very disappointing as well when you call for support help and they cannot be honest with you and tell you that. I will be going to HP for my printing needs from now on and will tell people I know to do the same.

Bought a projector 3 1/2 years ago and it didn't even outlast the lamp.... spending $3000 every 4 years for a projector is not acceptable... I would like a phone call about this before I buy another Epson product.

First time with epson, because they offered a inke refill solution. Big disapointement! This printer is a scam and the worst homeprinter ever, even comparing to other poor brands. It probably costed me $3 pr side, and houres to make it work. After 6 months it finaly died . DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BRAND! Didn't even bother to contact costumer service, when I realised what this brand is about. Who ownes this terrible company? They should be in jail for fraud....

I bought this printer a week ago because I was starting school and I needed a reliable and sturdy printer. It wasn't easy to install, but I finally installed it and hadn't used it until today. I printed 25 sheets of paper and am now receiving the "ink low" message for my black ink. There's two issues here. A: there is no option to print in draft mode which MIGHT save some of the ink. B. When the cost of ink exceeds the cost of the printer, which, I might add, was $129.00 before tax, a price I've NEVER paid for a printer, the cons of the printer FAR exceeds the pros. I had to order ink for this printer after 25 pages. So I went on Amazon and your sales team, your customer service team and your investors clearly don't read the reviews. You have a whole lot of people who are thoroughly pissed off because they are going broke on ink. The cartridge that I had to order is $34.99 before tax. Based on that amount, it is going to cost me roughly $140.00 to print 100 pages.

I would like my money back please. How and where do I send this printer? I'm going to do what my instincts told me to do before I ordered this blood sucker of a printer: I'm going to buy from HP. Shame on Epson. I plan on posting this email on all the sites I own as well as my social media. You guys need to go read some of those reviews on Amazon. If I had been smart, I would have read them before investing in this total ink guzzler of a printer.

I purchased my third epson printer from Office Max in the last 8 months. Every printer has been a nightmare. The newest one being a WF-3720 has not worked right after the first month. I've called there technical support spending hours on the phone with techs that don't listen, give the wrong troubleshooting and plainly just dumbest people I've ever dealt with. After the scanner feeder not working after 30 days. I've done very thing to to point that I'm using the glass scanner one page at a time. What a piece of junk. No one will help from there technical support. The company is just junk. Epson is a joke of a company. TRASH!!!!

Man I wish I would of seen all these reviews before I bought from Epson. I tried to order a photo printer but they sold out before they could ship it out. I was talked into buying a work force printer and was told the photo printing is equivalent to the photo printer. When I got it and started using it I found out fast that I was lied too. Contacted them for a return and was treaded like crap. There customer support is trash. Then was told I had to pay shipping back. Thought ok that shouldn't be that much but it turned out that it was about $100 to ship back. Still debating if it's worth shipping a $200 printer back to be charged $20(10%) because I used the printer. At the end I'll end up getting maybe $80 back. I will never buy from Epson again and will tell everyone to not buy Epson.

I purchased an Epson EcoTank printer over a year ago and, I must say, was very happy with it. However, recently, the printer prompted that there was a firmware update that needed to be installed and to press "OK" to complete the update. I did so. Upon completion, the printer was completely BRICKED. It displayed an error message on startup, has no connectivity, no functionality and is unresponsive to any button or suggested troubleshooting.

I contacted support and was advised that the printer is out of warranty and that there was nothing that could be done. The agent said that "it was [my] choice to update the firmware," thereby causing the issue myself, and suggested that I should not have accepted the firmware update. This is, obviously, an absurd argument as the printer prompted that it required the update. After calling out the absurdity their position, I was transferred to the corporate office and spoke with a tech and a customer relations person.

The tech vehemently denied that the issue could be caused by a failed firmware update and suggested that the error resulted in a coincidental hardware issue that happened to occur at the same time as the update because the printer is displaying an "E-01" error. This is clearly not the case, as evidenced by others who have posted online that they experienced the exact same issue when accepting the update. While the "E-01" error itself does not refer to a firmware issue, the state of the machine (inability to successfully startup and complete checks) was a direct result of the update. Both men stated that there was nothing that could be done unless there was a directive in place, allowing them to repair or replace the equipment; which there was not. The tech stated that there was not enough evidence that others have experienced this issue and to determine that the issue was caused by Epson- I guess those that posted online that they also contacted Epson were equally ignored.

I do understand that we're only talking about a $400 item here, but it is unfortunate to see a company unwilling to correct such an issue, or even admit that one exists. This is bad form. It's a bit unscrupulous to send an update that bricks a device in perfect condition and then say "Oooo, looks like it's out of warranty, sorry."

It is no wonder the company has such abysmal ratings.
