Had a Hoover carpet machine that was used 4/5 times no longer functions and Hoover does not make the part I need to fix it. I was offered 40% of a new machine but I say why buy another when the same thing could happen again? Total east of money!

I am a long time Hoover user. I have several machines and two have broken and I have tried to find the part on my own, but could not trying to contact. Hoover is impossible. I tried calling it's not available chat I tried chatting an hour later, no agent Emailing page not found such a huge company and they don't care about their customers at all. I am so frustrated that I can't fix these machines. I have to go out and buy a new one just because I can't find the part and can't get Hoover to assist me. It's the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Hoover has NO customer support. I have tried for weeks now to reach a live customer support agent. Bought a rug cleaner at Home Depot. It broke after 3rd use. Home Depot cannot return because they do not carry this rug cleaner anymore. Told me to contact Hoover. I have tried daily to call/chat/email. No phone numbers work. States they are closed. Chats, nobody responds. Email, nobody responds. Ive lost count on how many times ive reached out for support.
TTI Floor care of North America bought Hoover. This company is off to a horrible start. Absolutely unbelievable any company could be so bad.
I will Tweet my experience today about Hoover, as well as TTI Floor care of North America.

I purchased the Powerdash Pet and the machine is subpar. It seems cheap and does not clean very thoroughly. Also, I ordered extra cleaning solution that came all crush and half missing. I contacted Hoover to ask for them to pay return shipping and they would not honor a label. Do not waste your money.

I purchased my Hoover Smart wash carpet cleaner on 06/05//2021 here we are 02/28/2023 and my motor seized up and burning smell tried to call and get a chat to speak to someone which took forever. After about 20 min wait I was told I had to take my cleaner to a service center so they could submit a warranty claim when I took my cleaner to this service center he told me they were having issues with Hoover and Dyson over warranty claims I was told today I had to wait 10 business days for the process. I'm so frustrated and I will never buy a product from a company that doesn't honor their own warranty it shouldn't be this hard they took my money freely. I will give Bissell my money. I don't expect to hear their replacing my machine their just wasting my time

I purchased a hoover a week ago and have not heard anything back from them, no confirmation that it has been sent I have been trying to contact them and I can not reach anyone they don't call back and I am getting a little concerned if I'm getting my vacuum I wish I could talk to someone

My wife & I are very unhappy with Hoover- we purchased a High Performance Swivel XL Pet Vacuum 1/22/22. My wife was vacuuming the steps when the vacuum somehow chewed up vinyl flooring in our foyer. My wife called & was told to send in the vacuum & pictures of the damage- sent all in 12/12/22. We recently received word that the claim was denied & Hoover still has the vacuum- no options to correct the damage/return the vacuum that we sent in. So no other options but to go public & tell our story with horrible ratings for the product & service. We are established homeowners (ages 55 & 64) & will never purchase a Hoover product in the future. Very unhappy.

I cannot seem to reach Customer Service regarding a leaking carpet cleaner. I have emailed them twice, and have left a call back message. This is an ongoing problem from November and I am very disappointed.

i tried to reach hoover support this morning and left my phone number to be called back but no call back. i called later at 3:45pm and voice message says they are closed and open from 8-7pm est which is the zone i'm in. i also tried emailing a message yesterday but no response and tried chat but that was useless. can't get a hold of any customer service now days.

I have been trying to contact HOOVER for 4 weeks. All I get is the recording that the call is important, but they're helping other callers I have yet to get an agent, even after holding on for over an hour one day. I have left my phone number numerous times, and even got a ticket number once ,but still haven't heard from anyone. It's POOR Customer Service and I'm sure Mr. Frias would not be happy to hear about this. I'm annoyed this product passed Quality Control and disgusted by the sorry customer service. I guess agents are home in their pajamas, sleeping and getting paid for it

I have an issue with a Hoover floor wash machine and have tried to contact customer service numerous times! I tried the on live talk to a live agent! Got Harold the Hoover Bot!! He said I needed to stay on line to reach a live agent! My iPad ran out of power after 4 hours! No go contact! I tried the customer service phone number and was put on hold. Asked if I wanted a call back and did so! No call back! Tried again and stayed on the line for 6 HOURS!!! (As I was cleaning my house!). Finally got a live person who referred me to a local Hoover warranty repair place! Called their number and they are permanently closed! I am so frustrated! DO NOT BUY ANY HOOVER PRODUCTS EVER!

I purchased a cordless vacuum from Hoover about a year ago. Thus far, two batteries have malfunctioned, rendering the vacuum useless. I have made over 100 attempts to reach Hoover customer service via email, chat, phone, and contact form. NO ONE EVER RESPONDS... it's unbelievable that a company like Hoover who has been around for so many years would completely drop the ball and not offer any customer service. Beyond frustrated and disappointed. The worst part is that I really like the vacuum, when it worked. Everything is such crap these days.

Bought brand new Hushtone commercial upright through Amazon. 2 months of use and it dies. Multiple calls to Hoover but never able to speak with someone. Emails unanswered. Chat function unanswered. Amazon can't help me. What a waste of time, money and effort.

Carpet cleaner broke 7 months after purchase, under warranty. Tried calling their support number during normal business hours (Monday, 2:30PM EST). Automated messages said their offices are closed, to call back during normal business hours (Like M-F, 9AM-6PM EST). It said to chat with a rep on their website. Website said all chat reps are busy, must talk to the bot. Bot can't help, says to email support (doesn't provide an email address, it just opens up a form that you fill in). Filled out the form, provided my email address, received no confirmation that it was received/sent and no return email yet. Essentially there ISN'T ANY customer support available for Hoover.

Hoover customer service is the worst. I have bought Hoover products for the past 40 years and now when I have a problem with one I am told there is nothing they can do. They had no problem taking all my money for there products but the first time I am trying to get help it's a disgrace. Never purchase a hoover unless you don't mind taking your $300 and throwing it out the window. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO BUY HOOVER AND I WILL FIND EVERY WEBSITE I CAN TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT A MISTAKE IT WOULD BE TO BUY HOOVER!!!

I bought a pet cleaning vacuum from Hoover. 2nd use the thing clogs up, I took the thing completely apart to clean it out it started working again but by the third time vacuuming it clogged again. I called customer service and they said I would have to send it to one of there technicians and pay to ship it to them, WTF? I asked if I could get a replacement they said no, the technician would have to look and see if there is anything wrong with it, and I would have it back in 3-4 weeks WTF again? My house would be destroyed by then!!!!!! This Company Hoover Vacuum is JOKE!!!! 1 out of ten DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Just wanted to tell someone maybe in tech that the option of shutting off the beater brush needs to stay. When the beater brush stays on it scratches wood floors and gives carpets a burn like patch. And if a toe happens to go under vac while brush is moving, well that hurts. When the handle is up the brush should stop I know this because I have been cleaning houses professionally for 32 years and I have only used hoover vacs buying one new one every year. This year I am returning the vac I just bought because of this change and will be forced to seek another manufacturer

I purchased a washing machine in November month ago it started leaking contacted hoover 3 March they sent out energeer to try and fix it when he looked the drum had cracked so would need ro order new one time was getting on washing was piling up i have a daughter who suffers from bad skin problems also asthmatic so needs her bedding changed regular rang hoover again to say o wasn't happy how long it was taking asking them to replace the washer they wouldn't finally had a text saying the part had come in and was arranged ro be fixed today 24 March and surprise surprise had a text this morning saying the new drum had a crack in it to me now this is a manufacturing problem and hoover once again wouldn't help i would never purchase a hoover product or recommend hoover ro anyone stay well away

Had tumbledryer less than 8 months before the entire inner drum cracked off and destroyed my clothes. Just unbelievable! Rude women at company refused to help Ms Johnson.

The motor on my hoover vacuum went out a year after purchase. Hoover states their is a 5 year warranty. I took it to an authorized service center in August. They submitted a claim for me. !0 weeks later they are still waiting on a reply to my claim. I called hoover and they said they couldn't tell me anything about my claim.

I don't think it will come as any surprise since many of the reviews call out the same problems, but my ONEPWR Blade+ lasted all of 5 months before the spin blade stopped spinning. I pulled it out and was able to confirm that the gear connected to the spin blade was completely stuck and there was no way for me to get it back in place.

Anyhoo, while I was able to get in touch with Hoover CS quickly, rather than looking to solve my problem they were looking for a way to get out of honoring the warranty. As soon as I told the rep that I had opened the side plate of the vacuum head, they told me I had voided the warranty and they wouldn't be able to help me. Brilliant. Your 5 month old product breaks and the companies response is to blackball the customer at the first opportunity. I'm sure there's a class-action lawsuit in here somewhere but frankly who has the time to pursue it? I'll cut my losses and just buy a better brand next time, and you should too! There's enough competition in this space that you can do much better than the joke that is Hoover.

I have been waiting for over 2 months for a steam cleaner& shampoo, customer service is a JOKE,they want to(chat) which is done by texting,answers all lies,told them I wanted a refund,they said no can do it's on its way to shipping,that was 2 weeks ago!!!!

Went through four Hoover smartwash shampooers. They all broke. Motor. Belt. Who knows. Tried a different one at a loss. Broke. Because I cleaned it with vinegar it voided my warranty. I was offered a discount. Instead I put it out on the curb. Purchased a Bissell.

Terrible online shopping experience. Hoover turned my order over to a sister company named Oreck. I was given a FedEx tracking number that contains more digits than the norm. The FedEx site is actually sending the package in the wrong direction. The product should have arrived at my home yesterday. Instead, last evening, it arrived at a facility about 40 miles away. You'd think that means delivery today. NO! It is now heading in the wrong direction to a different facility. Hoover/Oreck/and all other sister companies... TERRIBLE and NOT even close to helpful.
