You need to remove your name from hyundai hiley in ft worth tx. The way they treat their customers is a disgrace and i will continue to tell everyone about what they do to people. They dont give a crap about the people who they call customers

My experience with Hyundai Consumer Affairs has been totally ridiculous. The initial point of contact is good but to actually speak with a case manager has been impossible. Why give me a case number and tell me a case manager will contact me in 3-5 business days and then not contact me. I call back after the 5 days to be told that no one has been assigned to my case so they will escalate it to the national level and will have someone reach out in 1-3 biz days. Well suprise surprise, after 3 days still haven't heard from anyone. I call back again and have to wait another business day. I think they just keep ignorinng me so i will just go away and they don't have to help. This may be absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences ever..ugh

I have a 2011 Hyundai sonata I bought used in 2019. Motor went got it towed like the case manager said to and basically was told by a man that he was closing the dealership in 5 minutes and let a disabled woman walk up a highway 3.5 miles. I read all the reviews and I too had a case number from ANTHONY. Who for some reason closed my case yesterday???? Hopefully since I called today hysterical the woman informed me of that and was going to expedite a new case. SMH. Seriously wrong with Hyundai informing customers of the recalls. I had absolutely no idea how many or what recalls were on the car. My best friend just died and hopefully I can get to the funeral. I love my car but this is a living nightmare

I am curious what the plan is about the anti-theft immobilizers. Someone attempted to steal one of our Santa Fe's today and got spooked before they got it. However, they broke a window and messed up the ignition in the meantime. My insurance shouldn't be paying for an error on your part.

5 minute programming a fob took me 2 hour waiting. Awlful service

Beware of the car below being sold used from any dealer.
Bought a 2011 Elantra not knowing this issue a few years ago with an extended warranty (rip off) from Steven Wade.
Months at a Hyundai dealership trying to get fixed with the extended warranty not being honored due to issue and basically a over 11i junk car now not able to drive any length of distance.Beware that they might know in selling you a lemon,

Yes new car is the way to go because the warranty they sell might be bad for the car plus I believe they knew this engine was bad.
Elantra models from 2011 through 2016, with "Nu" 1.8 liter engines, are affected by a piston defect.

I purchases a Hyundai Sonata 2023 in October 2022 from Mirak Hyundai in Arlington,MA. I bought the extended service contract for bumper to bumper coverage for 10 years or 100,000 miles and the maintenance wrap which extends the service to 5 years. When it came to honoring the maintenance wrap, they added the wrong contract and couldn't fix it, they wouldn't honor what they told me at purchase. I was supposed to have complimentary service for every $5,000 miles or 6 months which ever comes first and that was extended by the maintenance wrap contract. I am a low mileage driver so that would be 6 months. When it came time to honor this, the refused. They also wouldn't fix the contract error and no one would call me back, despite my calling multiple times. I had to have my sales representative flag down the person handling this who just gave up on fixing this. Also, their service department is backed up almost 2 months and this is a normal for them. My husband also bought a Hyundai there and he has had problems getting timely service when he has needed it and he has to get if fixed there if it is something under warranty. Because of the horrible service in every part of the dealership including the service department, and the misrepresentation of terms at the point of sale, I would never buy a Hyundai ever again. Buyer beware. They don't honor their word.

Hyundai is a joke. My car broke down on my daughter in the middle of the night. I had vehicle the vehicle towed to my local mechanic not knowing what was wrong. My mechanic found that starter had burnt up. He replaced the starter with a new starter and tried to start the vehicle only to fined that the motor had locked up and the starter would not turn the crank. The engine had no oil in it. A common problem with Hyundai engines. Hyundai replaced the engine but now won't reimburse me the cost of the starter which had burnt up by the motor being locked up. They tell me because I didn't have the work done at a Hyundai certified dealer they couldn't cover it. But when the local shop replaced my engine they re-used the starter that I paid my mechanic to put on. Therefore I argued that Hyundai should at least pay me back the money for the part (Starter) since they re-used it and didn't put a new one it. I get you don't want to pay a 3rd party's labor but you re-used the replacement part I paid for that was caused by a factory faluty engine that you warranty. This whole a=warranty is a joke, you didnt cover towing of the vehicle nor provide me with a rental car for my inconveince. The only thing I got was a remanufactured engine with replaced that according to lthe dealership who installed it, it doesn't come with any warranty. How am I supposed to trust the fact that you fixed the oil issue and theat this new engine won't lock up like the last one. This is the first and the last Hyundai I will ever own. What a joke.

This business is SCAM and LIES ...... they need to get out of business in HB city and community. On 4/3/2023, I came to Huntington Beach Hyundai and inquiry Elantra 2023 SEL Convivence package. I told Cristian and Eric that I am dealing with another dealer in Los Angeles area and if you can give me same deal then i will buy the car here so I don't have to drive all the way to LA. Due promotion 0% for 48 months expired 4/3/2023 so I want to get it done by yesterday with promotion. I shows them my deal with another dealer $420 for 48 months with $5000 down. This dealer asking for $440 for 48 months with $5000 down payment at 6:30 PM. I said No if you can match with other dealer so I have to go there now before they close at 8:00 PM. I left this dealer with my son and on the way to go to other dealer. About 7:20 PM , Eric sale person called me and told me that his manager agrees to sale to me $420 to match with another dealer. I told Eric (OK) I will make a UTurn and go back to your dealer I will be there around 7:45 PM. Then, 7:30 Eric called me again and told me that I can come back tomorrow and his Manager still able to award $420 a month to me because they almost close the building for today. I asked Eric that Are you sure because I want to get it done today because tomorrow my Son have school late and I mentioned the promotion expire today. Eric said don't worry , promised. This morning , Cristian sale person call me and I told him I will be there after work at 5 PM and get it done but Cristian now said they can not give me $420 any more. I asked him to to talk to Eric to what he said to me yesterday but Eric ran away from me. I told Cristian that Eric told me come back tomorrow otherwise I will be there around 10-15 mins before 8PM last night. Ridiculous, Cristian now said Eric told you $420 a month but he did not said how many months or term. REALLY ????? all yesterday we sat down and discussed about 48 months with 0% financing. Later. They really ??? SCAM AND LIES. Later, I talked to Faris General Sale Manager but he driving me to different story. No wonder all employees under his leadership all LIES.

We have a palisade 2022. I love it but we have had so many problems getting the free oil changes.we have had an appointment each time we take it in the 1st time it went ok. We go the 2cd time and had over a 2 hour wait . Then the 3rd appointment we pull in and the service guy said it would be a three hour wait. We have to drive 90 miles to the city and this is so maddening. Dont even get checked in and they tell u 3 hour wait with an appointment. Will not be going back to Hyundai service center will find another place to get oil changed. They need to learn how to schedule appointments.

Hyundai customer service is the worst. I have a 2023 Sonata that has gone in for repairs twice in two months after the fuel injectors have misfired at only 4,000 miles. My case manager Fabiola is extremely hard to reach, makes empty promises about when I will receive my reimbursement, and has even contacted me about a case that was not mine on multiple occasions. This shows a complete lack of care and concern for their customers. They know their product is bad, so they escape blame in any way they can.

I have had very poor customer service. I bought a 2022 Hyundai palisade and I have 5800 miles on it. The engine sounds like junk and so does the muffler. it sounds like I'm driving a tractor. I have been trying to deal with this sense December they requested for me to take it to a dealer across town and when I approached them, they requested me to go back to my original dealer. I took it to my nearest dealer and they could not figure out why my car sounded like a tractor but told me that all the engine components checked out good it's just louder than normal. I find this very unacceptable so on the 13th I took it back over to the east location where I was pretty much told the same thing I have been reaching out to Honda customer service at their corporate office for several months. I keep getting told that it's been passed on to the national leader. Yeah, no one ever calls me.

I just recently had a new motor installed that was under warranty. The process of getting approval was very difficult. After approval I was told there would be $100 deductible. This end up being $600. After I got the car back it had a sight miss in it. I was hoping it would get better. After 1500 miles the car started missing so bad I had to have it towed in. They called me saying they had to put a new coil on it and clean the spark plugs. I asked customer service why if everything was new. They told with the new motor they used the old spark plugs and old coils. They wanted to remove the plugs and clean them plus charge me. I told them why would I have them cleaned old spark plugs for a new engine. I had Hyundai to install new plugs since they were taking the old ones out. They also replaced one coil. I had to pay another $589 to keep this so called new engine running. Not very happy the way this service department is run. I've called the service manager 3 times in the 4 weeks with no reply. Not sure how dependable this engine will be. One positive thing it doesn't use any more oil.

Hyundai is good at selling cars but across multiple dealerships they have horrible service. My experience with E. Rose at corporate customer service regarding a warranty was no better. I understand that new cars can have an issue but not addressing those issues with great service is unexceptional. Because of the lack of service, I will never purchase Hyundai again.

My dealings with Hyundai has been the worst experience of my life. I bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. I've had to have the engine replaced, ABS system repaired, and all of my white paint is peeling off my car. Their customer service sucks. I have spent an hour per day on the phone with Hyundai for the past 5 weeks and I've gotten no where. Corporate workers will say they are going to follow up and it is just a lie. I've asked for supervisors and they can't get me to one. How can you they not get me to a supervisor? I need my car repainted and Hyundai keeps putting me off, giving me the run around. I will never purchase another Hyundai in my life and I would recommend that you not either.

I do regret purchasing my car from this brand. I bought an Elantra in from their Framingham, MA location in December 2022. Although the car came with only one key fob due to a chip shortage, I was assured that I would receive the second one in January. When I followed up with the dealership, they claimed that it was not their responsibility and directed me to Hyundai Motor America. Their customer service was friendly before the purchase, but their attitude changed after I made the transaction. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and regret buying a car from this brand. I contacted them in February and was assigned a case manager my case named Anthony (Case # ***9539) who promised to send me the missing key fob within two weeks and keep me updated via phone. However, he failed to follow through on his promise and did not return my calls. I had to repeatedly contact both the dealership and Hyundai Motor America, with neither party taking responsibility or action to resolve the issue. When I requested to speak with Anthony's manager, he refused and stated that he was the New England area manager. I hope this information will be useful to those considering purchasing a car from Hyundai.

Tried contacting corporate in regards to my Vechile getting my transmission replaced. I have a 2020 Hyundai Sante fe with 60,000 miles.I own a dog care business that relies on me transporting them in that car. They have had my car for 3 weeks. They say they could get my transmission next week or it could be pushed back because that has been happening. So possibly another 2 to 3 weeks. They told me to call corporate to get more answers. Corporate is useless. My case worker called me back at a funeral. I tried calling back but I keep getting your case worker is busy. I've been doing this for several days I have even left messages with other workers for my case worker to get back to me. They all have additudes and told me they can't tell me anything and they would pass along the message. 1 week later she finally calls me saying she just now got a message from me like wtf! I responded to your email and left several messages. I explained I need them to either eat the cost of the rental damages because I need to transport my pets and the rental does not allow pets or they need to see to escalate my transmission. Im already out over a couple thousand for my business. They lady said she will contact them and get back to me Friday to let me know what's going on. I already know what's going on I need corporate to do something. And I can't wait till Friday for answers. I've been waiting for you to call me back for over a week. I need you to call them today. She said she doesn't know if she will have time for that but she can't do anything because she's not a tch and doesn't work at the dealership. I asked for somebody else to help me or speak to her boss because nothing is being done. She said she dosnt have a boss and nobody else can help. I said everybody has a boss. Sence you you can't help me I need somebody who can and I want to speak to them. She again said there is nobody else. All they are will to do is call on Friday and figure out the situation. Hyundai is a terrible company and doesn't care about customer service my Own dealership has changed hands twice and I've only been with them for 3 years. They told me to call corporate because they can't help. So who do you call if corporate can't help!? I've always seen issues from Hyundai and said I would never buy one but my family talked me into it. Don't let anyone talk you into it. Their cars don't hold up and customer service is non existent.

I purchased a brand new 2014 Hyundai Accent GLS . My airbag light came on on and I took it to Ed Voyles Hyundai for repair. They stated that they had to replace the sensor. During repair they damaged my steering wheel. It took 4 months for the repair. After the repair my daughter was in a car accident and not one airbag deployed. I went back to the dealership to inform them of the accident and the airbags not deploying . Although they made the repairs they informed me that I needed to contact Hyundai consumer affairs. It's going on two weeks and I have not heard from the adjuster. I am trying to hold the car for inspection because the car is at a total loss.

I will never purchase a hyundai vehicle again. My vehicle was stolen yesterday. I called hyundai corporate office to see why I never received the recall/campaign info for the anti theft software update on my vehicle. The agent stated that my recall or campaign letter was to be sent out in June of 2023. The then stated that the best they could do for me is give me a $50 gift card to purchase a club for the steering wheel. I asked if they would reimburse the $500 deductible if the car was . no. I asked if they would reimburse me for car rental services...he stated no, and suggested things to do if the call is recovered to keep it from being stolen again.

Hello. I was informed about a 2017 Hyundai Elantra recall and it says to go to any Hyundai Dealer. I called Huntington Hyundai in Huntington NY Service Department and a very unprofessional lady first asked me what the recall was for which they should know anyhow. Then she wanted to know if I bought my car from their dealership which I didn't. She said that they do not have to give me a recall service appointment and go to the dealer I bought the car from. This is not true. It's all about money. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

I urge ANY and EVERYONE who reads this review to STAY AWAY from Hyundai! My wife purchased her car in 2016. The car she purchased was a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The ran marvelous throughout the years she has had UNTIL about 3 weeks ago. My wife sent me a picture of her check engine light all of a sudden turning on and her oil light blinked and went away. My initial thought was that her car was low on oil, so I put oil in her car and everything ran fine. When my wife gets off from work, she proceeds to drive her car and all of a sudden her car stalls and turns off, IN THE MIDDLE OF HER DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE!! She manages to get her car off the interstate and onto the shoulder. She calls emergency services and they send someone out to assist us with getting the car off the interstate. Once we get the car to a safe location, the emergency services guy and myself began to inspect the vehicle to see if it could be the battery. We replace the battery and think that is the fix, well it wasn't. We get the car to start and the car is able to run but turns off again, it did the same thing it did when she was driving on the interstate. The car won't hold a charge and it sounds like something is knocking in the engine. Ultimately we ended up getting the car towed to our house. The next day comes and I call Hyundai's corporate hotline to see if were are any recalls for her car and they said no. Come to find out the campaign closed and no one from Hyundai got in touch with us. We are a military family so we do move after every couple years but my wife's number has stayed the same and when we move, we make sure to get our mail forwarded. Anyways, the agent on the phone tells us that there maybe a recall and to take the vehicle to a Hyundai dealer. We take the car to a local mechanic shop and he tells us that the engine is falling apart from the inside out. We find a Hyundai dealer and take the car there. Come to find out, there is a recall for her engine. The service member gets the info for the car and does a write up to get the request sent up to Hyundai's recall decision center. While the service agent is doing the write up, he tells us that she is not the only person having this issue. He shows us a half of phone book thick of other people who are having recalls for the same issue. Fast forward a couple days, we get the vehicle towed to Hyundai, the write up is done and Hyundai DENIED to get the recall fixed. There reasoning is "engine neglect" and that a piece of the engine is not covered under the recall. We ask, how is it "engine neglect" when we take the car to get regular oil changes and maintenance done on the car. We have receipts of oil changes and repairs that were performed on the vehicle. We call up to Hyundai to get a case a number and to talk with the case manager who denied the claim; the misses who wrote gave us our case number was very helpful and understanding. She tells us we have to 3 to 5 business days for the case manager to get in touch with us. Fast forward to the 5th day of waiting and we get a call from the case manager. We ask him why was the recall denied when we have taken car of the vehicle since we have had it in 2016, and he begins to tell us that since we did not take the vehicle to a certified Hyundai dealer and don't have records of the oil changes and maintenance, that was the ultimate deciding factor. There are plenty of ASE certified mechanics and shops that know how to work Hyundai's and other brands of cars. Everything that was described in the recall for the Hyundai engines happened to my wife's car. Ultimately, I would suggest to not buy a Hyundai. Hyundai will NEVER get our business again and I will be sure to let EVERYONE I know to not buy a Hyundai.
