This has got to be the worst grocery store in the country! They run out of seafood daily before dinner time even comes at that point dont ya think lets order more? They bag up the scraps of seafood and sell them for 30$ a bag. They never want to cook your food like they are supposed to which falls under false advertisement. But dont worry, sooner than later this lawsuit will pay off. Because they have no structure.

Just got back from the 87th street store and love the service there. The one thing was went to the deli and they were running a ad. The ad said but a pound of cheese or meat get a pound for free. I got for quarter plus pounds of meat. Then when I asked four the cheese they said no it has to be a pound. It was just divided up. No where on the ad sign does it say must be one 1 full pound of meat or cheese. Any other place I have gone to always accepts the way how I have did it. Plus getting there at 8am they were not even ready to open
I had very limited selection. I mean very little

I have never been treated so poorly by a manager in my life like I was in the Gloversville Ny store. On Sunday I went to price chopper and by the Smithfield ham there was a sign that said but one get one at equal value for free.when I was in self check out I noticed the advantage was not coming off so told the cashier.she went to the manager and before even looking at what kind of ham I had said the meat department said they are not buy one get one.i said I will show you the sign he said no they said not on sale I then said I can go back and get the sign he said again it doesn't matter the meat dept said not on sale. This manager would not even go back and look was just a blunt no.How can you let a manager do that to customers. A few nights before that I saw another customer getting upset with him now I know why.i left my stuff and walked out. I think it would take a miracle for me to ever go back in that store if he is still working there. He should definitely not be working in customer service

Wont be shopping at Price Chopper in foreseeable future. Employees don't wear masks properly-under chin or mouth only. You can require 'Price Chopper' shirts but not masks? You are apparently catering to those with little concern for their own and others health and safety. I'll cater to my own health and safety and shop elsewhere

Posted by Pissedoff

Price chopper does not enforce the no mask no service policy. I dont feel safe shopping there anymore. What is the since of a policy you dont enforce.

Malone store: egregious woman without mask all over the place. When called, Manager reported that Corp Headquarters Told him he could exempt Compliance when challenged per Corp directive ( two weeks ago. )

Is this true that managers have been given permission to flout the NYS directive at will?

Posted by Cseagrass

I was shopping at your Chicopee Ma store today. I have a complaint some of your staff wore their masks incorrectly( noses exposed) and at least 25 percent of your customers had their noses exposed. The customer in front of me had a face covering and the cashier whose nose was exposed said nothing!!!

I Have Spend About $10,000 A Year With Price Chopper For Several Years But After Using Instacart I Will Shop Somewhere Else. I Don't Like Being Charged For 31 Items I Did Not Get.

The company that you have to do the shopping for customers are a waste of your money to have them in your store

Dear Price Chopper Corporation,

I am writing to complain about the experienceI had today (March 19, 2020) in your Eastern Avenue store in schenectady, New York. Apparently, they changed their policy and said customers are not allowed to return or get any refunds for items without making a public announcement. There's a small sheet of paper taped to the front of their door that no one would read unless they knew that it was about that. And, when I entered the store the door was already opened as customers were ahead of me. In addition, I purchased a product. that I thought was a different price almost, $5 dollars difference in price, and went to ask for either exchanging it for a different item that was a little less or getting a refund of the difference or just getting my money back and I was told I could not. I don't understand why they have created this policy especially when they are selling items in the store that are either expired or close to being expired. If a person was to get home and an item was spoiled are they not going to give them their money back? It seems as though this is an unethical practice and they are taking advantage of folks at an already unprecedented and challenging time in our country. I hope to hear from someone soon regarding my issue. Thank you

You open at 6am and do not stock your shelves esp Mest Department. Bring in your burgers. It was ridiculous this morning at your store in Cicero.

If I could give a 0/5 I would. I placed an order from Price Chopper on 3/13/20 at 7:40pm for pick up scheduled for pick up 3/14/20 between 7pm-8pm. I did not receive a call, I looked on my account and the order said canceled. I called Price Chopper Slingerlands and was given Instacart's customer service number. The person that answered the phone did not want to help. I called Instacart and the hold time was very long and I was placed on hold for a very long time and was told the order was canceled because they didn't have staff to fill the order and an email was sent. They said they could not un-cancel the order and I would need to place the order online again. Since there is a pandemic going on in the US the proper thing was for a phone call to be placed to me instead of an impersonal email. I checked my email while I was on the phone with Instacart and I had received an email on 3/14/20 at 3:37pm and had not seen it. How this was handled and passed off by Price Chopper to Instacart with no accountability or concern is unacceptable and the worst customer service. You need to reconsider your partnership with Instacart and consider in house staff to fill your shop at home orders if you care to maintain your reputation. I have placed my order with a competitor with no issues. They use in-house shoppers and have not passed their shop at home program onto Instacart like you and their customer service remains excellent. I always held Price Chopper in high regard and this is no longer the case.

I purchased pc ice cream cones (2/$6). The cones are sooo soggy that I threw them away! This is NOT the first time I have purchased these. They are SOGGY! I just bought Walmart Great Value and the cones are crispy and solid!! I have bought them at Aldis and Shop Rite and Hannorfords and they are EXELLENT! Your Half and Half milk is also a big problem as it turns sour after half the container is used. I end up throwing that away. I suggest you try to remedy this and I will NOT shop at your store

I do not like your new Advantage program. I use to get 10 cents off of my gas for each $100. spent (it use to be for each $50. spent). You have cut the allowance in half. I go by 3 major grocery chains to shop at Price Chopper for their gas program. For 5 cents I will not be bothered to bypass them any more. Most of them have their own discount gas stations in front of their stores anyhow. As for you As for your $1 spent + 1 point earned, you would have to spend $100 to get one dollar off of you groceries. Big deal. You offer more than that now with your coupons at the register. In other words, I will stop at the other chains and local markets. You new program is a step backward for your customers.

An employee said maybe tomorrow and "what can you do". I used to shop in Hudson Price Chopper, be they could not make it..maybe because this happend all the time. I try to e a loyal customer, but you are making it difficult

Hi I have shopped at Price Chopper for 40 years and have always had a good experience. I recently have switched to Hannaford because they offer shop and go. I place my order online and then schedule a pick up day/time. If price chopper ever starts this program near me I will switch back. I am not in the area for delivery. Although I am 15 minutes from price chopper iris not offered in my zip code area of 12827.

The Glenmont Price Chopper is badly in need of management attention. The desk and store employees in general are very good but the fish case today was unappealing, not well displayed and a lot of the fish looks old. This is the routins and not the exception. The deli dept is slow as can be always. The store looks dirty. Lived in Glenmont 34 years and this store now seems to get the bottom of the barrel in produce, much of which is overripe 2 days after purchase. We choose to shop mainly st SlingerlsndsPC, Delmar Hannaford or Slingerlands Shop Tite because of quality and cleanliness. The Golub's certainly can and should do better.

Conn.has a consumer protection law that says if an item rings up higher than tag price you get that item for free. I do check for expired tags and take them off and stick them on to the product.I have been doing it for over 2yrs.the employees know me and usually say hi.on 11/14 I went in and was met by Kayce, front manager, who told me not to pull the tags when I check out someone will go back and get them. I said it would hold up the line, she shrugged her shoulders,oh well.mom and I started shopping when Shelby S. started following us. she went ahead to the next aisle and told another employee to look for expired tags, loud enough for us to hear.as we shopped other employees were watching us,never smiling.in an aisle,in the next one I could hear Kayce tell employees to look at the tags. one girl was responding to her ok.she came into the aisle we were in she walked past me then quickly turned around, looked in my cart then went back to talk to Kayce. very rude and disturbing. when we finished we went to check out.rang out my purchases. I had 6 expired tagged items, 5 in one display and 1 a few rows away. I asked for Albert S.,he was incharge,he called for Shelby S. to get the tags. I turned to speak to a customer who asked what was going on. as I was explaining the law I heard my mom say"do your job" I turned and said "mom, what?" she said that Shelby said she wasn't going because she didn't have time. Albert was speaking with a women behind the customer service desk I said do I have to go get them? he said Shelby was going. the customer service women yelled over "take him" she put my 6 items aside and started ringing the customer behind me out. he was telling me how the employees all over the store have many times been rude to him,he checked out and wished me luck. I stood in line when another customer came up the cashier started ringing them up and I said I was next as Shelby had come back, after close to 20mins. she ignored me. I said excuse me loudly. Albert S. came over and told Shelby do go to an empty register. we did and she started filling out forms for each item,6. it took her close to 5 mins. they were each rude and hoping if they dragged it out I would just leave. next time I go in I will ask for the manager and tell him if it happens again I will file a harassment claim against Price Chopper.

First, let me say that I truly love the Price Chopper on W.75th. I literally live 10 minutes from the store, so the convenience is wonderful. I visited the bakery department Monday October 31st, around 3:30 in the afternoon. I wanted to place 2 cake orders. The guy working at the time was "Clinton". Clinton seem to be a nice enough guy, but not customer service friendly or knowledgeable. I wanted to purchase two 1/2 sheet cakes for an Anniversary party. I was wanted a strawberry and 1 carrot cake. I was told by Clinton carrot cakes are only made round and I said I needed a sheet cake. He again informed me that the baker only makes round cakes. Besides being disappointed in that news, he never spoke above a whisper which was very nerve racking you could hardly hear him speaking at all and. I felt I was intruding on his time. His customer service skills leaves little to be desired. So I took my business to Hy-Vee. The customer service was fantastic and helpful. I ordered my two 1/2 sheet cakes. One strawberry and the other carrot cake, "not round" but a half sheet carrot cake, with suggestions on icing and decorations. I was actually working with a professional. Sorry to say that it wasn't at Price Chopper.

I've been very disappointed in the service I've received at your deli in the Middletown CT store recently. This past Sunday I watched as a young man who worked there was working the deli counter by himself with 5+ customers waiting and no one was available to help him. To be honest I commend the young man simply for the fact that he didn't just walk away. I went to the customer service desk and let them know what was going on and they tried to get a hold of someone to help him with no result. I left the store, went to my local stop and shop who had 4 people working the counter and was in and out within minutes. Today, once again the same situation. One person trying to wait on 5 customers with no help. I didn't waste my time with customer service, I simply left the store. I've spent thousands of dollars in the Middletown, CT store and am pretty disgusted that Price chopper treats its employees in such a way and also extremely dissatisfied that the staffing is so poor.
