Roku customer service is dreadful. When I actually called them because I wasn't getting any helpful answers on forums or on roku's troubleshooting page I was told I would have to give a credit card number for which they would charge me $1 in order to access a more detailed help site. My American Express declined their attempt to get the dollar fee, and when I called American Express I was informed that Roku was actually going to charge me $45. This company is a rip off. I'm going to switch to a fire stick or Google's streaming service stick. Don't buy Roku it's a nightmare trying to get anything fixed

Your customer service is PATHETIC! I want to speak to a customer service agent. Because it's impossible to contact you any other way. You take our money, but offer NO HELP WHEN WE HAVE A PROBLEM! I will NEVER buy another product or service from you!!!!!

What the hell is with the advertising carpet bombing including the same Goddamn Consumer Cellular commercial over and over and over. I started out liking your channel but will move on to a pay service to avoid the same commercial spots every five minutes over and over again.

As a Roku customer for about 5 years & on 3 screens, I am mostly satisfied, having not had any serious issues of real consequence. The one irritant is of recent origin. Roku continuously overrides my personal settings with its own screensaver, even though I have turned OFF its wallpaper updates. I do not like most of Roku's seasonal or occasional theme packs, wallpapers, or screensavers. I strongly prefer to make my own choices & changes. What's the point of giving us personal settings when they will be overridden by Roku, whether we like it or not? I search the Roku community for answers, but came up empty. I looked for a way to contact them via a live chat, or an online form, perhaps a phone call or an email, & I again came up empty. That is just frustrating, not in the big picture of things, but small like an annoying splinter in one's finger.

I enjoy Roku streaming but I do NOT like the commerical content. A little over the top trying to be politically correct. Even it out a little. I won't shove my life style down anyone's throat and I would like the same respect in return

Possibly the worst investment I ever made, 3 Roku tv's and within 2 months of purchase all were trash. Different residences, different internets, same issues. I would not recommend that anyone purchase the Roku tv. Others I have spoken with feel the same and I have heard nothing that is positive about the Roku. Do not purchase

it's so easy to order Roku express through the roku offers. it's impossible to return under it's 30 day warranty. ALSO NO HELP FROM SUPPORT.

Wow, is customer service finally completely dead? No email or phone without jumping thru hoops till I gave up, which sadly is the norm. Wasn't always this way with them. 3 of my four devices are not agent support eligible. I guess they want me to buy newer models!!!

Would be nice if Roku sold a decent remote with their tvs. Purchased a 65s555 with the cheapest remote i' ve ever seen. No voice control or port for ear buds. You pay good money for a tv and you get a garbage remote.

I resent having to go through "just ask" where you have to pay a dollar to sign up for their service and then they charge a certain amount until you cancel.why do we have to go through that to get help for a problem?

Bottom line is I'll never buy a Roku television again because they do no service they only sell. For example they make over the air service of the TV part difficult to use.

Constantly have problems with the Roku unit telling My HDMI cable is bad. I have changed cables three times and still have the same issue. I think it's in the Roku box but there is no one to talk to about my problems. Not very good with online hocus-pocus repair ideas. Because I have no one to talk to you about these issues I am throwing this thing in the trash!

Why mess up my screensaver trying to sell me a WEATHER ICON? Do you have to try and soak us for every dime? At least clear the screensaver screen to just show a clock and perhaps make your overpriced weather icon purchase in some other setup setting?

Roku has no problem with stealing your money I had issues with Roku during hurricane Keon no service no power no nothing I informed them that I would like a refund or credit to my account I explain to them that I no longer have the card that was used for payment They proceeded to process a payment to a debit card that no longer exists and now they're saying that there's nothing that they can do about it I've had to file plenty of reports with the Better Business Bureau the people are very rude inconsiderate you can't understand a word they do not speak American English with an American dialect they do as they want to do with your account they don't give you any type of information as to what's going on and then you're stuck now I have money sitting in the air somewhere I explain to them that it was a gift card that I no longer have the lady told me to contact my financial institution so I am assuming that's the Ghostbusters because it's not linked to any bank it's a throwaway card and all I get is nothing six years of being a customer I pray that another company can come out to compete with Roku

For some reason my way point outdoor app will not open. I tried to contact Roku to ask for assistance can't get through all of their blocks and guards only to find I "do not have customer support on any of my Roku apps"

What does that even mean? I have Roku on two televisions I don't deserve any customer assistance?

Tried to download a tv show and it would not let me gave me a code to call a number and to my surprise they want to charge me 100.00 just to up grade my tv for 3 years oh no I can't even watch my cable with I pay every month, I have to pay Roku the money so I can watch my cable what kind of crap is that???? Asked to speak to their supervisor and then there supervisor all they did was hang up the phone you try and call back the phone called is denied. Why should I have to pay Roku to watch my own cable.
PISSED OFF TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!

I own a HiSense Television with the Roku OS, but can't access the Roku Channel. This is ridiculous, as I live in the Keys. How can you resolve the issue❓

I have been using ROKU for years and have subscribed to various streaming apps thru you. I subscribed to AMC+ and paid for an entire year. Suddenly, I was denied access to AMC+ in the middle of viewing a movie and was instructed to signin on my ROKU
login info. When tried to sign back in I was denied, plus an unknown email was shown. I took several steps to try to resolve: I tried changing my ROKU UID and password. I was still denied. When I die to set up a new account, it said I already had an account, but I was still denied access. Now, I discovered there is a second AMC+ app that has been added to ROKU: AMC+ on ROKU. I tried signing on using this new app. Did not work. It would only allow me to sign up for a new trial. Apparently, I subscription was stolen.
I am very angry that you allowed this to happen.

I have been with Roku for a few years now. You guys have been charging my credit card for over 23 months 14.99 x 23 =344.77 for a app I knew nothing about. Customer Rep are horrible. kept me on the phone on hold mind you, for over hour and half. I want my money back.

Over all fine service. Appears money hungery. Their movies run comercials every 7 minutes so it's hard to keep involved with their shows they offer.

yes i cannot reach anyone thru roku for help unless i pay a fee that is ridiculous i have a payment coming out on the 29th im trying to see if they will take it out today.i cant believe we cannot talk to a person. not right you want a survey its all bad cant speak to anyone to get resolved

I am researching what new streaming platform to switch to now that Roku has so many annoying problems!

1. When we click PAUSE, if we wait longer than 10-15 seconds before restarting the movie or show, it takes us back to the HOME screen!?!

2. Unwanted apps, especially FilmRise and a few others, add themselves nefariously to our HOME screen, and we either have to manually remove them every time, or put up with the clutter. We remove them.

Very disappointed that Roku has such lack of concern for their customers! These are certainly NOT the only problems we have with Roku, just the recent ones that we haven't been able to resolve - been trying to correct the above two issues for more than a MONTH!?! but these are the final straws that broke the camel's back.

We are so disgusted with Roku that we are temporarily using the built-in Vizio apps until we decide whether to go with GoogleTV or FireStick.

Your service is great regarding content, but lacks greatly in the delivery.. Such as; the main subject intent service is either normal or low and the ads or commercial content is excessively loud. This needs to be fixed. I have bad Many complaints regarding this problem causing the loss of customer base.
Let me know if you will take action on this problem, or forward this to the department that will address this issue.
