For 3 months I have repeatedly asked for help with the service and no one can help. Your lucky to get a person and when you do they have to send it to another tech and the phone drops service so you have to start again. My last month of straight talk.

I been using straight talk for ten years.i bought a card for cash at Wal-Mart and my phone was shut off 2 days later.they wanted me to send in documents and I sent the proper documents and they still wouldn't except them.so I had to go back to Wal-Mart and purchase another 45 dollar card for cash so the one I bought before I only got 2 days of use and they couldn't fix the problem you would think being a 10 year customer they would of just fixed it instead of refusing my proper documents I would never by another straight talk phone ever again.buyer beware there not loyal to there customers there scammers there customer service is even in another country and they could care less about you. I have used straight talk for years and years and have been very happy until very recently. I bought a new phone and bought the straight talk plan like you got to do activated it and this was in January 2022 inland the end of February all the sudden I could not text I could not receive phone calls I could not text out the only thing would tell me was mobile network not available. I have not moved I bought the same plan the same phone I've always used and maybe I just got a defective phone when this happened. When this happened I called actually I went online chat to text support four straight talk service and explain the program problem and I went through five tech agents support people none of which could help me. I requested that maybe I should get a replacement phone and that this one phone was just a freaking phone one of the agents agreed but did not offer me a replacement now when you buy a phone at Walmart a straight talk program the even though you got all the box of paperwork on the receipts and everything you can only get a refund after 14 days. I really think that straight talk should all for me a free phone to replace this piece of garbage that I got and the phones are not bad phones are good phones but this one is just flat out defective but they will not admit it I can't use my receipt to take the phone back to return it and get them just replace it exchange because it is expired because it was past 14 days I am very irritated I will probably never use straight talk again and that's unfortunate because I was very pleased with all the service that the convenience but the phone the problem usually is good this one phone is just not and I really would like to have a replacement.

I wouldn't mind at all if someone would call me and all for me something because I spent good money on this phone not expensive nothing fancy but I spent my good car there ain't money on this phone and I really thought that they had a better outfit than what I have received in this recent past couple of months today is March the end of March March 29th 2022 and I wouldn't mind somebody doing something about this this is pitiful and yes I will be talking to the better Business bureau I'm in one person's complaint doesn't mean a whole lot. When leaving your truthful experience reviews S.T. put you on a list and will not answer your calls when having problems with their phones you purchased. They try to cut my Unlimited Data out of 6 yrs now its limited. Get out of here! I am not playing with S.T. They need to grow up and act professional. When purchasing with S.T. do it at your own risk.

The price is pretty good and so is my reception. Those are the reasons I put up with their ridiculously poor customer service. I realized early on that even though it appears that you can do self service on the net, it never works for me. Invariably I will begin a chat with Customer Service, told I am 164 in the queue. More than 1/2 the time I lose the connection to the chat and have to start a new chat and go to back of the queue. Eventually I start chatting and about 25% of the time they can help me. When they can't help, they schedule a call back. They don't usually ask if the time is convenient for me. So the callback call happens maybe 2/3 of the time. The best part of that is that the agent is not waiting to talk to you, you go in another queue to await the agent. So nice to work with a company that values my business and respects my time ??

I have called Straighttalk 7 times in the last 2 days. Each time I'm put on hold for over an hour then transferred to higher technical help for another hour. Today I finally reached a manager. He was to call back in an hour and never did. I have no visual voicemail. Still no resolution.

Horrible company! I've been with them almost 2 years all was good until in February my phone wouldn't charge anymore I was told if recurve a new phone but had to send broken in first. That happened I heard nothing from them over a week I called them and lady from another country said right away I can't help you I have to escalate call She did and the manager got on from the phillipines said that I'm not getting a phone it's it of warranty. I told her that's not what you're rep said. We argued back and forth to no avail. AI ended up calling back spoke to a Ray same country said no you are getting new phone and have me a service number.But he said the phone is out of stock said he'd send me email by the end of week never received it Today called again after being transferred twice and over 2 hour wait I spoke to another lady,explaining what happened again she was vague, couldn't give me any details.I asked her where my original phone went , to a warehouse is all I got..I actually asked her point blank if my phone was being refurbished and resold and she answered yes to that!! So that's what happens I'm out my phone and they are fixing my old phone and reselling it!! Isn't this criminal?? Horrible customer service no one knows nothing, I'm transferred all over the place .. Go to another company..my advise .. I'm ready to report this to BBB. Now I'm worried they got my information off my phone and they're going to sell my information information . What do I do????

On Monday, February 21, 2022, My wife brought a Straighttalk SIM card kit for Wal-Mart in Natchez, MS. She was on the phone with Straighttalk trying to get the cellphone SIM activated for 5 hours. They refused to activate the SIM card and refused to refund her money. She could not take it back to Wal-Mart. Tech Support of Straighttalk kept on hanging up on her several times.
She calls back on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, and had the same outcome as Monday but they did send out a new SIM card.
On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, I chatted with Straighttalk tech support to try to get the SIM and the phone working. Both Techs that I talked to did not know how to do anything. They put me on the line with someone else. I called with at least 3 techs on the phone and none of them knew anything about cellphones or SIM calls. I guess when they couldn't fix my problem they hung up on me twice. They refused to fix my problem and refused to give me a refund. I have attached a copy of the chats.

Horrible service.I bought a phone tried to activate they said store did not scan it right so I took it back got a new one same thing happened again so I was told to send in a receipt they would get it fixed to activate within 48 hours 5 days later still same issue.

The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had I bought a new service pin 2 weeks ago and I still can't make calls after contacting customer service 7 times. It makes me feel good to know that they are somebody who is dumber than I a am

Straight talk is a bunch of garbage. Don't get the insurance as it is a scam. $6 a month for a $200 deductible in which this company doesn't help you replace your phone. Based out of India, could barely understand these idiots. Go somewhere else for your cellphone provider.

It seems ever week we spend hours on phone. First they gave my number to my roommate when activating his new phone, the we were promised compilation for two days of not having a phone. This did not happen. Then my data stopped another day no phone!!! Well called this morning the $65.00 ultimate unlimited data is limited!!!! I'm so fed up with this carrier. Together we have 5 phones on strait talk and think it's time to switch

Activated a home phone base 8 days ago. It's been over a week and I can not get incoming calls at all. 2 rings goes straight to voice mail. Spend as much as 6 hours on the phone with their customer service and techs. Numerous chats that are useless because they have you do the exact same thing over and over. Last call with tech support told me they would have it working in 24hrs it's been 2 days. TERRIBLE phone service provider AVOID at all costs!

Straight talk customer service stinks you ask to speak to a manager you get sent to corporate office then you ask to speak to their manager and get transferred to another manager there is no accountability on their side for lacking service I purchased phone from them and want to use the hotspot it keeps giving me error message saying the account I purchased doesn't support hot spot so why did I purchase phone and data plan from them that I can't use this company is scam artist taking money for things I can't use and then being told they are using Verizon and Att for there services and I can never speak to someone that can get anything done have to wait on ticket and if they expedite the ticket it will take additional 24 hrs how is that expediting the problem I hate this company and will terminate my service after the next 30 days are over Don't waste your time !!!

Straight Talk your customer service are awful misleading liers with lack of empathy and borderline thieves. In August 2021 I broke my original phone by accident purchased an unlocked replacement phone from a friend who had a different service carrier than my original phone plan. So I called and ordered a new sim card from customer service, they gave me the wrong expected delivery date. And they sent me a defective sim card. I activated the phone immediately and paid my bill. But no cellular network and no data, as well as no internet. I paid out a few dollars under $100. Wasn't able to get incoming calls, make successful calls, I have a complete list of texts I attempted to send but as lol I got was MESSAGE NOT SENT! Alerts. I've called and called Customer service and they pass me back and forth asking the same questions and Everytime I eventually get the phone hung up in my face. Leaving me distraught confused and pissed off. 2 months of this horrible inhumane treatment with promises of returning calls to me for technical support but I don't get anything but lied too. ? Customer service representative Told Me and I quote... "Looks like they sent you the wrong sim card, it doesn't match your phone." I asked for a supervisor an soon as she got on the phone she treated me like I was an idiot. Lots of manipulation and gaslighting during every cry for help from this customer service company all across the board! I've drawn the line here!!!!! I was told by the supervisor who made me feel stupid for wanting active dependable service after spending $99+ and calling for help many many times when I call back again (when they cut it off my service completely) I'd get a free service equivalent to whatever time I already OVERPAID for without actually receiving the service in full. But of course when I call back bc my halfway working service was cancelled, customer service gave me the run around.. as if I am not supposed to get my money worth and REFUSE to honor that free service I was promised. My phone is cut off I'm not working bc I'm just getting better from having covid 19. I want my service... This will not end with me giving you money for crappie service and lies. Straight Talk get your stuff together.. cellular network service is mandatory and life saving. You should be ashamed of the way you rob loyal customers with a smile and a lie of feeling empathetic.. #I can hear it in your voice. I am a CSP.

Dear straight talk you guys charge to much money for your phones for the limited data you call unlimited!? If 10gb is unlimited without WiFi then your crazy!! Cause I've found out without WiFi I can't play games long or I'll waist my 10Gb unlimited data and my phone runs slow or I can't make any calls!? Unless I reboot my data with another card.please go unlimited like other companies your loosing people with the limited data your giving your customers. Even your highest data plan is not enough without using WiFi. Hope some changes come soon.

After 10 years of using Straight Talk
They finally pulled the plug on using tethering a hot spot to my TV. Completely without consideration...without notice they shut off the hotspot ..data.

My TV showeed the connection...but no data flowed. 5 calls to customer service
A new TV...a second straight talk service and phone. The supervisor on the 5th call admited they no longer provide data for tethering to TV. That cost 200 dollars for the TV...aTV...and additional cell phone and connection.

The phone is a Straight Talk phone bought at Wall Mart comes with the hotspot tethering function. It simply does not work on TV s any more.

No Notice...they dont admit its a switch
that prevent you from using it on TV.

Every other carrier alloows this..

Not Straight Talk. They ended their service of Hotspot tethering to a TV.

They were evasive...for two hours while I drilled them questions...they would not answer. Corporate finally clued me
In. Of course it says on their service aggreement that tethering ad your wifi hotspot are not supported. The next 30 minutes i explained i had 5 years of teathering. They just read the script.

I will never go back to Straight Talk

I went ro a Metro store and got a service plan with 15 mgb of teathering for 60 dollars.

Straight Talk was a great service..no longer....the time wasted and money spent are gone. They do not care about customers. If they cared they would have texted every customer of the pending change the pending crisis.

We don't call a lot of people. We though we'd save money with Straight Talk. I can call my son in Maui. We've come across 5 numbers locally that we can't call. Yesterday we discovered that we can't call the New York State Police. Unacceptable. I called ST customer service. The first rep. this morning said he'd call me back on my cell right off. Never called . Tried again this afternoon, rep. was very rude and condescending. I mean extremely rude. I let him know this in no uncertain terms. He hung up. I called back twice more, the final time the rep. was ridiculously rude and dismissive and started singing "i'm sexy and I know it" until I finally hung up. This is a garbage company and should not be able to do business. Imagine not being able to call the police?
