Terrible customer service. waited on hold for 30 minutes only for some very unpleasant guy to tell me they couldn't help me. all i wanted was to know if i could purchase a new A/V cable to replace the one that cracked off in my portable dvd player. from now on i will spend the extra money and buy something of higher quality and with better customer service ratings.

Purchased the dual DVD players and like other reviews they don't work! I called within my 90 day window only to be told to restart! That obviously didn't work and by the time I called them back today I'm now out of my window by 10 days, I'm out of luck. Oh he did suggest using lens cleaner but that was it!!! I'm so mad at myself for not seeing all of these other bad reviews before I purchased. Absolute terrible service. When asked to speak to manager I was told they would say same thing! Wow way to make me a fan of your products. Never again Sylvania!!

Yep I purchased a DVD player with remote control; and the remote doesnt work MOST of the time !! We changed batteries, then went and bought more batteries of the Best kind, and still the remote doesnt work except occasionally, and that isn't very much!! I'm fixing to take the dang thing back and buy a Better mfg brand, if you don't contact and Make good for my troubles!! Cost $40 for this unit, and I expect a complete refund, then I'll buy a universal remote and try that! But if I get no satisfaction, I'll just return to store and use another brand !! You have my email address, I expect to hear back ASAP !! THANK YOU

Do not buy these products. i purchaed two sets of portable dvd players and they both gave up on me after 3 months and only to find out that it doesnt even come with at least a one year warranty then you guys wanted me to pay my own shipping to send it to you to see how to fix it. i have my receipt too you guys

BEWARE!!!!! Horrible customer service! I bought a portable Sylvania DVD player from Walmart for road trips...worked fine the first time and then only the second time (a few months later) would not load the discs. Called customer service and was informed that they could not help me as 90 days had passed. (Bought beginning of April...tried to get help late July.) Will never buy this brand again. I don't appreciate companies that take my money and don't stand behind their products.

Worst product ever. Bought SYLVANIA portable DVD player and it isn't holding a charge. Called customer service to find out that they only warranty products for 90 days. Absolutely ridiculous. Never buying from this company again. Awful products and awful customer service.

After purchasing a Lightify set and unable to complete the setup, was unable to find technical support outside of regular business hours which is not acceptable for mobile device software products like smart bulbs.

Secondly, Sylvania needs to utilize experienced software service providers if they expect to survive in the smart bulb industry. The smart bulb is a mobile device software product and nothing less. The Osram app is a failure from software updates that do not Install to a non-friendly user interface that lacks guidance and messaging. And, mobile device software products require 24/7 support that established software providers do not overlook.

Although Sylvania has the best concept for smart bulbs by way of Bluetooth technology (compared to Philips non-Bluetooth and short range) the lack of help was the final weakness that killed the overall experience and the products I purchased went straight back to the stores. And, I will never again look to Sylvania for anything Involving mobile devices.

Hello I purchased one of your electronic picture frames for my husband's birthday in January and it stopped working the screen is black the power cord indicates it has power. Worst company,I appreciate all the coments. I won't look any further on help from sylvania. I have a sylvania dvd .went to use it, sound but no picture. I have had it 4 years. bought it to use to go back and forth down south in the winter.arriving home 1st year put it in a closet and forgot about it. I Brought Two Dvds And They Both Started Acting Weird After A Couple Days Cutting Off In The Middle Of The Movie And Going Back To The Main Screen This Company Is Horrible I Will Never Purchase Anything From Them Again Then To Top It Off I Was Trying To Find An Email Or Phone Number And Its So Many Different Ones Its Hard To Contact Someone This Is Disapointing

I purchased two portable DVD players, different models. One worked one month past its 90 day warranty and quit. The second just quit after having only 7 months. JUNK!!! Spend little more and get better quality!

DO NOT BUY SYLVANIA! The tv just stops working after sometime. They try to make you think it's normal and try to force you to take it in somewhere to be fixed, but I've had samsung and Sony tvs that are way older working perfectly fine. Several people I know have warned me about sylvania but this was a gift. Please save yourself the hassel. I told the girl I was sick on bed rest and she still made me get up to get her the model number and laughed when I asked her she could help me without it bc I can't get out of bed.

The auto on/auto off function will not work. The manual is not help and appears to be written by a non-English native writer and obviously not proof read by anyone educated in the US. I have given up trying to find a customer service phone number.

Very poor service. I was given the run around. 3 different phonenumbers I was told to call. Rude person on the firstcall. Foreign person obviously didnt understand what I was saying. Just stated retjrn for $44.00 for ssrvice. Didnt troubleshoot at all. Poor quality product, ill search for a better brand this time.

I bought a remote for a vcr/dvd combo, md # DVC841G. the remote would not operate the unit. called the 800 number, they sent me another remote same one as the first remote, still would not operate the vcr/dvd unit. either I need to find out what to do in order for the remotes to operate the unit or I need to return the remotes for a refund. can you advise me on this issue, thank you. lewis.

Good afternoon, I was wondering if your company would be so kind to help me get a new cord for a "Digital Compact Disc Player Portable CD stereo radio system, for my daughter. It was a new electronic that she had received and the movers had accidently lost the cord during our move and as a result, we not able to play music for our daughter. Tried calling the CS number listed for Sylvania, but was told its not for Sylvania products! Strike 2. First strike is not providing easy access to claim info for faulty product, namely their 10" portable dvd player.

I have only used my dual screen DVD player about 5 times. The sound has never been good. Only 1 speaker works. When I called support, they told me to reset it and it would work. They said this would work. They said to call back ir it didn't. It did not work. I knew it would not. The trouble has been with the speaker since I bought it. I have talked with 2 different and have had no help.I want to talk to a person that is in the company that stands behind their product! Please call or email me with a number so I can tell someone about this. As I read the reviews on Sylvania, I see that there is a problem with your service and it needs improved if you want people to buy your product. Thanks.

SYLVANIA 'S 19" lcd tv (lc190ss2) is a piece of CRAP. and so is the pitiful so called Customer Service Dept. These fools simply give the customer a reference number and state someone will get back to them within a couple of days, when they know that will never happen. When one make followup calls to get a update, they simply HANG UP on you. What a bunch of rude cowards. We will never ever purchase another Sylvania product.

Literally A JOKE!!! The device (9" DVD player) Which I purchased less than a year ago has had issue after issue. Customer service has people barely able to speak English and sounded like they were in an overcrowded bathroom. I could barely hear the representative d/t the excessive noise on her end. Literally a JOKE. Steer CLEAR! Very unhappy...

I bought a digital picture frame 3 months ago. The picture is very dark. I spoke with your customer service and followed their instructions still dark. They will not warranty the item because I did not save receipt. It is a SDPF1089 digital frame ser. That should tell age of unit. Bought it at walmart. Thought Sylvania was a better company to deal with.
