I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR WALMART 4 YEARS NOW. I HAVE ENJOYED WORKING FOR WALMART. I HAVE MOVED UP IN POSITIONS VERY QUICKLY AND HAVE LEARNED A LOT. I STILL LEARN MORE THINGS EVERYDAY. THEY CUSTOMERS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. IF IT WAS NOT FOR OUR CUSTOMER THERE WOULD BE NO WALMART TODAY. IF YOUR HAVE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR STORE, THEN YOU WILL HAVE GOOD GOOD BUSINESS. THE WALMART I WORK FOR IS LIKE ONE BIG FAMILY. I LOVE WORKING WITH EVERYONE THERE. WE ALWAYS TRY TO DO OUR BEST IN TAKING CARE OF OUR STORE AND CUSTOMERS. THANK YOU WALMART STORE #4497

OH MY GOD WALMART?!
I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR WALAMART FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND IT IS NOT WORTH IT. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET A JOB TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM WALMART. THE HOURS ARE CRAZY BUT I AM REALLY UPSET BECAUSE OF THE MANAGEMENT, THEY SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW WHAT ARE DOING, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEY ARE ALWAYS AT "SUBWAY" DOING NOTHING. IF YOU TRY TO GET PROMOTED YOU HAVE TO BE THEIR FAVORITE IF NOT, YOU DO NOT GET THE JOB; AND AFTER THEY PICK THEIR FAVORITE THEY INTERVIEW YOU JUST TO WRITE IN THE SYSTEM THEY DID INTERVIEW PEOPLE, IT IS REDICULOUS AND CRAZY.

Oh boy! WalMart......

Stand in line six deep to check-out
Bigger with the same old problems of 32 check-out stations, with maybe, five open.
Management seldom walk the floors except when the white-shirts from Benton swarm.
When Sam was alive. I would see him in the stores occasionally.

I have worked at walmart for over 2 years. It is the best job I have ever had. They have a free education system through their CBL's that allow you to learn about procedures and culture so you can do well in the company. They also have the best system I have every seen for supporting advancement in their business. Recently they also started working with an on-line college where an employee can get a reduced cost for education and even credit hours for working at Walmart. I recently attained a job as a customer service manager and love the employees, my bosses and the company. I can not imagine working or shopping any place else. I hope anyone who reads the negative comments recognize that many people who complain are simply looking for a target for the unhappiness in their life. I feel empathy for them, but also realize that anybody who wants to succeed in this world needs to be willing to GIVE in order to GET anything worthwhile.

i work at walmart,, the reason we cant help the customer ,, we try,, i enjoy the customer most of all, is that our hours have been drastically cut across the board
we actually have a good customer service center, they have not been cut,, but the total store hours that we can work across the board has been cut 15 percent in the last two years.. for instance full time is now 34 hours,,, part time is less,, can be much less,, so we dont have the people to help you.. simple, that is the full reason that walmart stock has not been changing,, but they didnt lose,, by cutting the peoples benifits that worked there,, primarily hours spent on the job,, less people working,, less help,, and that is across the board in All Walmart stores.

hello iam am an employee been there for 2 years went from loving my job to hateing it we are over worked under paid an unapreciated we all do more than one job they refuse to have the amount of employees need to run each department they expect you not only do your job but the work that should be done by by 2 or 3 more workers and the customers are very demanding not realising how over worked and short handed we are. Walmart stresses customer service at our expence and customers again dont know what is really going on at walmart an how over worked we are dont believe me watch the movie " the price we pay for low price" it says it all. i renaign there due to the economey statis for now......looking for a real way out.

You always hear that walmart is a big "family", or a company that is aimed towards family right? Well I am here to tell you that that is the furthest thing from the truth! The only family they are worried about are the little green ones they get to put in their wallets. I worked at walmart for almost 4 years and it got worse and worse day after day. In January my grandmother passed away, I was on vacation at that time. I was very distraught even when I came back the next week, well you know how they showed me sympathy? I got fired, for something that didnt even happen. All I got to say is when you go in there and see the employees that are not smiling or greeting you everytime you walk by them, its not because we hate our job, its because our management team is a crap job. All they are concerned about is themselves and the money you are giving them. Now I know in this time everyone should be glad to have a job, but let me tell you, I now draw unemployment and I wouldnt change a thing about it.
