I know in today's America getting any 35 year old and younger to understand the word work, let alone the idea that when the customer is checking out and ready to give Winco their hard-earned money, is probably the most frustrating part of running any business today. Employee- owned; nice try but again the 35 and under age group don't have a clue of what that means, so still I find that "I can't get no satisfaction" (This gives you an idea of how old I am. Old enough that I can remember when SERVICE to the customer mattered!) I will be going back to my previous grocery store and yes; pay a little more, but willing to pay for the service I get there. The only advice I can give you is hire older workers that know what service is get rid of the cellar dwellers that don't care about your business, or how much hard work you put into it. Apparently all the new workforce cares about is, 'What can I get from the next person and do absolutely nothing to get it' i.e. Socialism; How did that work out for every Socialist country that ever existed?

Worst customer service ever since when do you take the customer behind you first and say her order will just take a minute even when you let them know your on a break

Back to the only store that knows what the word service means; so back to COSTCO for everything! I just got home from Winco on 5850 W. Bell Rd. in Glendale, AZ. I waited 1/2 hour to check out because they only had two checkers and the one we picked decided she really didn't want to work, so she talked to her friend! I was there at 9:15 AM on 11/20/17 on isle 12 and the checker name started with Sha. I use to own a business with 375 employees and I know how hard it is to work with American 'labor' today; nobody gives a crap! I can understand crowded, I can't understand taking a job and not doing it. Wonder how many more people will leave Winco for Costco??!!

I use to work at winco and I have to say that the store manager at winco #78 is the laziest manager and so are the assistants all they do is sit in there office and never interact with the employees. The store manager is not approachable. He doesn't help you solve a problem I had to quit because I was fed up with the management. The moral there is terrible. Ask any employee there what lazy management they have

Very dissatisfied with the most recent incident that happened in Phoenix if that's the way you're lost prevention operates I will make sure to let everyone know never to shop at any of your stores. I would hope that those employees are terminated. Being a manager at home Depot and knowing proper procedures that was totally out of hand. If anyone has any brains they will let the people know that this is not how you operates and don't condone what they did.

The Redding, CA WINCO Needs help badly! I was shopping 2 nights ago and was being FOLLOWED around by a nasty looking guy trying to get me to buy his gift card for cash. I told him no! Then kept walking. This didn't stop him he then asked me again. I then firmly said, No! This time he walked off. I received a call from my husband. As I was talking to him the same guy came up to me. At this point I'd had enough. I stated that I told him no and to leave me alone. People started looking but nobody was willing to help me. An employee to lazy to walk down the Isle said what's going on. I said, that guy who just walked past you is following me around and won't leave me alone. He then said, what do you want me to do about it?! Seriously I said?! I said just stand there and do nothing because that's what your doing now. I left all my groceries in the cart along with $40 in shopping bags.I was so distraught and shaken by this I had to leave. I was stressed out thinking this guy was gonna do harm to me. I Called to explain to a manager and I was told I could talk to a checker why not a manager?! I think this was definitely a good reason to speak to one. I guess this was not taken seriously. Really?! I'm so MAD!! HEY WINCO, I WANT MY BAGS BACK AND AN APOLOGY FOR HOW I WAS TREATED!!!!
This is horrible how all these people don't get told to leave the store and property. It's becoming white trash Central. Maybe a real manager or MANAGEMENT might respond to this. What if that guy ASSULTED me?! I guess your lazy employees would have watched!

I appreciate your Redding store and shop there at least once a week. I have to complaints:
(1) There are never enough electric shopping carts and last week I waited 30 minutes for one and finally left.
(2) I lost my Debit card at Winco. I distinctly remember having it when I shopped on March 13, 2013 at your Redding store. I went to the customer service counter to see if it had been turned in. Your representative told me, that Winco doesn't call the owner of found Debit cards because they didn't have the phone number. When I told her it was public information, listed in the book, she said , "well Winco doesn't call". I cancelled the Debit card and paid for a new one.
It seems that a one minute phone call would be reasonable.
Yes, I know you are busy. but.............
