30 -60 minutes for support. I had a few simple questions and gave up waiting. I tried 6 times at different times of the day and night. All were the same results. I will nurchase another Brother product...not worth the wait times. BTW, once or if you get through, you can not understand a word they say and all they do is apologize for everything. SWITCHING TO DELL OR HP

They agreed, in writing, to refund my purchase price because the printer simply does not work. They said as soon as they get the printer back they would give me a credit. When UPS tried to deliver the printer, they refused to accept it and instead asked that UPS hold it until some future, undefined, date. Clearly they do don't want to give me a refund. I think this is consumer fraud.

Brother has THE worst -customer service. I was seeking assistance for instructions on how to set up wireless service for my Multi-Function Brother product model MFC-J450DW. After a 40 minute wait, the service technician admonished me because their system connected me to them (the hardware department) after I stated the correct model number. He offered to transfer to the correct department, and to a supervisor after I indicated to him -he may ...want to advise his supervisor: their customers are required hold for 40+ minute only to be informed their system routes customers to wrong departments. He indicated I would have to wait additional time to be connected to the right dept. After an additional hour wait, the technician was far more polite than the 1st, but ultimately after 2.5 hours on the phone, most it waiting for "Customer Service" he informed I would need to be contacted the next next day by support services located in the Philippines.. In summary, their customer support and service is just awful, plain and simple. If you are looking for an all in one printer/Fax/ copy/scan device, I would strongly recommend you choose another company altogether.

I bought a Brother MFC-J870DW printer to copy and print pictures. I used it two days with lots of frustration with paper jams and no paper feed. After each jam or no feed I had to wait for the printer to reset before another attempt to print. I called customer service waited 30 minutes for a rep. Them spent 1 hour going over all the procedures he needed still had the same problem. Then offered a reconditioned printer which has had a problem before. I will never buy another Brother Product again.

Long waits both on chat, (gave up) and phone, (over an hour). End result is that the technician did not know as much as I did. Offshore support, poor English. Printer stuck in continuous print, wouldn't stop. I'd already tried everything possible. To make matters worse, Brother has started using proprietary chip ink tanks that preclude the use of generic inks. Last time I'll buy a Brother.

Allready we have told you about my printer complaint not resolve the problem after visiting your person from " Folcon Office System " they are could not be solve the issue which's going on. We wants replacement only. because we are suffering from last two week ago. We have very frustrated with this brand. We wants talk to with your service head of mumbai branch so kinldy send me the Email id of India service head and contract person.

As I write this I have been waiting for an hour by my watch for an agent to answer. After 45 minutes one answered only to tell me that he had to refer me to a Mac specialist. Well, i said I work on a Mac when I first called. I thought Hewlettt Packard was bad, for in comparison they were Gods.

My company uses Brother all-in-one wi-fi printer and scanner. I called them because my Brother unit stopped linking with the office computer (which happens frequently) and I was unable to get the system up and running.
When the CSR answered he was very rude and interrupted me several times like he was in a hurry. He brought me through the stages of the Brother process and none of them worked. When that happens the Customer Service Reps are supposed tell you to delete your drivers and reinstall the drivers off of their website. This by the way is their OUT to not help you anymore because they don't know what to do.

He said to go to the site and download the drivers and all would be well. He tried to exit the phone but I kept talking to him while I followed his instructions. He kept trying to get off and then of course, now my computer was worse off than before. At least the previous drivers did read the printer. Now it was not recognized at all. I now revealed this info to the CSR. He said nothing and HUNG UP on me. Now my Brother all-IN-one is all-for-none. Oh BROTHER! Please buy another brand this company is not worth the headaches. Our division will no longer use Brother equipment whatsover!

On January 2015 I bought a Brother printer, HLL2340DW model, that was supposed to have a Starter Toner Cartridge of 700 pages . However it only printed 341 pages, much less than 700. I wrote to the customer service and support at mid July to ask for some explanation and for some compensation, and one and a half month later I am still waiting for any answer.

Unless you love grief, never buy a Brother printer. It has never worked right and today I spent 4 hours on 4 phone calls with their customer service jerks in India, who could barely speak any English, were rude, and at the end of the last call, the rude guy said I can't do anything, your printer is broken, you need to buy a new printer. The problem was it would not accept new cartridges, just gave message "no cartridge entered" and this is the nastiest, worst company I have ever dealt with.

The cartridges stop printing before they are empty and this cannot be overridden. They just suddenly stop. Cartridges are expensive. My previous printer would print until the pages started to fade out. The cartridges cost between 60 and 90 dollars for each color and for black. I bought this printer to save money on ink. Its a rip off

I purchased a brother printer/scanner/fax about 9 months ago (June 2014?) From initial setup to a MAC to today, when I had a problem replacing an ink cartridge, I have had nothing but problems. They couldn't help me connect wirelessly, the setup to a MAC seemed to give them problems. Their customer service lines are always busy. If you don't call first thing in the morning you will be on hold for at least 30 minutes, and then the tech will transfer you to someone else. Never, never, never buy a Brother product. I won't

My experience is similar to many I read below. I first called, in an attempt to set up my printer on my wireless network, and after waiting approx. 30 minutes on hold, I finally reached a live person. They seemed generally helpful, but when they learned I had a Mac, they told me that they would need to transfer me to another department. I expressed concerns about waiting again, and they assured me it would be just for a minute or two. After approx. another 30 minutes on hold, a disconnect message came across saying that they were now closed, and to call again during regular business hours. So, after wasting over an hour on the phone, I was disconnected. SO PISSED because I really needed the printer that night.



Second call, a few days later. Again I wait approx. 30 minutes on hold to get to a real person, and again, am re-routed after I tell them I have a Mac. Again, I express my frustration with being on hold, and am told it will just be for a minute. AGAIN, I am force to wait approx. another 30 minutes, but this time someone answered. She was not helpful at all and only spoke with me for a few minutes. She had me uninstall my printer from my computer (for some strange reason) and then she said that she needed to put me on hold for a minute...and then...CLICK! ! This is the WORST company customer service regime....DO NOT BUY.

I contacted Brother customer service and waited 20 minutes to talk to a rep. I was then transferred to another rep in tech support and waited another 10 minutes. I talked to them for a few minutes was transferred to another area and after waiting 10 minutes I was cut off.

Crappy customer service to say the very least!!!

It seems the negative comments are posted by people who dialed the wrong number. Brother offers free phone support and you can speak to an American. I've called a Brother poser company and I felt the same way until I called 877Brother. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Hp and Epson charges for support. If you've even been charged for Brother help, you didn't speak to Brother. The 50 dollar hold is not a charge, it's to make sure that they get the malfunctioning machine. One of my children worked there, I heard that they treat their employees like pure crap. Brother treats their employees like prisoners. One mistake and they are out of the door.

I have a brother MFC-J430W. Printing is and has been a real problem. The "special approved send us your money" ink doesn't work worth a damn. I have to "clean the head" everytime I want to print a page, and after 2 - 3 pages, I have to "clean it again" (the cleaning uses up all sort of ink - which, they love). STAY AWAY FROM THESE PRINTERS THEY SUCK.

Good luck if you have a problem with your Brother Printer.

Get used to the ghastly "music" you have to listen to while you spend 45 minutes on hold waiting for a technician before you hang up in frustration.

Printing for 20 yrs now... This is my first 1st Brother printer and LAST. Tech support is absolutely the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. Your ego has NO PLACE in the customer service industry. I'm telling all friends and family to stay the *&^* away from Brother. Horrible software/BLOATWARE and horrible customer service!!!

2 months and no resolution. 2 days to reply and when, finally, all internal functions were performed, disappeared. Had to purchase another printer - no more Brother for me or my friends.

It is no surprise to find the Brother printing company has 1/4 positive ratings. As a casual tv watcher, I have to see a man in the toilet stall, pants around his ankles. This during dinner, & I am repulsed.
Like any corporation ready to die, anything goes, like Direct TV, having to watch 3 men urinate in a bathroom.
I thank God I do not own, or am associated
with these companies.
I hope they 'go down the toilet like their ad's.
