I have a supersonic hairdryer that I bought in 2019. It died yesterday. Dyson's 'iconic' service is laughable. They just repeatedly state it is out of its warranty. I have been a loyal customer buying over 15 products in the past 10 years and all they would offer was 20% off a new one. I have a $10 Conair that dries better and is 10 years old. They have a lost a loyal customer who has many friends and family members. They have no service people with any empowerment to make any decisions.

Dyson support sucks. Probably the products are good, but I don't know, because mine sucks, as much as support does.
I live in Germany. I've ordered a V15 Detect+.
After using it once, it stopped charging anymore.
I'm an electrical engineer, so I measured the output of the charger. It was 0. I contacted support, and they told me they will send a new body. Not the charger, but the main body of the vacuum cleaner. The one with the motor.
I insisted that it's the charger. They insisted they will send the body. A week passed, nothing arrived, contacted them again. This time they said the worker didn't send anything, and they will send the main body (another promise). I insisted it's the charger. They sent the main body.
It didn't work with the body, ofc. I contacted them again. Asked for a return of the product.
They told me they will issue a return label and I should wait 5 working days for it. I waited 5 working days, no return label arrived.
Contacted them again, they replied I should wait for 7 working days.

Needless to mention - every time I had to contact them, I did it on Whatsapp, and I had to always re-state what my name, address and email are, and every time I had to explain again what's the problem. Even though, every time, I received a case number, and the next time I contacted them I gave them all the case numbers.

It's amazing how bad support is.

I bought a hair dryer I paid 400 plus insurance. For nothing. My hair dryer die in 3 years. I'm so sad because I thought this will be the best dryer I will have. In the Dyson repair they said is the motor and can't be repaired. This is so unfair. HORRIBLE SERVICES.

Battery will not hold charge.. I've purchased two; 2nd one lasted about 3 months. Now holds charge about 5 minutes that's it...

My three year old Dyson hairdryer died one year out of warranty. Dyson Customer Service (DCS) said only option was for me to send the dryer to the Dyson Repair Center (DRC).After I told DCS that I lived 3 hours away from the nearest repair center, Dyson sent me a label for free shipping to send the dryer to DRC. In a text, I was told I would hear back from DRC when the dryer was fixed. After two weeks I was told to come pick up the dryer and it would cost $75.00. I have called DCS 6 times since then, trying to get the dryer mailed. All I am told is that they are not allowed to talk to the DRC (this was a supervisor) and I would have to wait to hear from the repair center. She suggested I call the repair center. I did; they don't accept incoming calls. On another of my calls I was told the problem was I would have to go to the repair center to pay; that there was no other way to make payment. Anyway, I have never had a callback from the service center or repair center. Guess they'll just hold the hairdryer captive. Worst of all, when you call the DSC you have to listen too a recording about Dysons iconic customer service!

Rip off vacuum. Outrageously expensive !!! Unbelievable heavy ! Anyone that has problems liftin etc... older people , people with physical Limitations or just someone that doesn't want to feel like they were at the gym for an hour working their ass off vacuuming one floor of your house. No issues with suction my ass!!!!! I've had to take apart that vacuum more times than I can count. It has been in a closet now for years because I don't feel like taking the whole damn thing apart to find some cool somewhere. So I've purchased a shark vacuum less than half the cost. Vacuums great, light , easy to maneuver and have never had one single issue with clogs that make the vacuum absolute. I hate Dyson okie never buy one again in my lifetime. Shark vacuum vacuum best purchase ever and saved craploads of money. I have a 709.00 vacuum that doesn't work has no suction can't find the clog after taking most of the thing apart myself. I hate they took so much money of mine to screw ke over. I have nothing but bad things to say about Dyson. I wish I had never wasted hundreds od hard earned money one a solid expensive rip off!!! I can't say enough bad things about this product. I could write a book!!!!

HORRIBLE customer service. Charged my credit card twice even though both orders were cancelled and refused to give workable alternatives to buy a product when a customer actually wants to spend the money.

I have a horrible experience with Dyson company. My vacuum cleaner battery stopped working, I contacted the company, paid $115 Asked for expedited shipping. They said they do not offer that service which is weird. It's been nine days since I placed an order. Dyson never sent me tracking number via email, but when I called them they provided me the number. When I tracked the package it shows that label has been created by the package hasn't been shipped yet. I called and complained twice still nothing was done. What a disappointment.

I have two very costly Dyson fans. One is 10 yrs old and the other is 5 yrs old. I called Dyson asking how to take apart to clean. I was told they don't come apart to clean. Both fans are unable to take apart to clean therefore they are clogged. They offered no assistance. They said the new models do come apart for cleaning. My Walmart $10 fan works better.

Troubleshooting did not work on vacuum. Phoned customer service. Agent was not interested in listening to me but made me show her the process I had already completed. She obviously did not trust me. Offered discount if I upgraded but I checked prices given and there definitely no discount applied. After I spoke every time she replied with Perfect. Nothing was perfect.
Very frustrating and no satisfaction received. Maybe a good product but extremely poos service.

8/22 - welcome to my life ... same thjng you mention below. I called customer service at 9:30 am today no response back. I called them tonight after an hour on hold gerber told me NO refunds even for obviously lemon products. Isn't there a no lemon law for appliances ... this this breaks down and doesn't power up . I paid 400 or more and have constant issues . I have a baby bliss for 15 years and nothing broke . I begged for a refun d and they said company policy no refunds after 30 days. Guess you can make a product that works for
30 days and just hope it works .... Horrible service

Used to love Dyson, not any more, their customer service reps
have no idea what is going on, I have been trying to get info
on a Humdinger, for 7 months no one can tell me when will be back
in stock or if, product knowledge is limited at best. James Dyson

It is my worst experience with their after service and products, the vacume cleaner which cost Mr AED 2200 stopped working in less than 4 months and customer service is just wasting my time. How can a person can have two vacuum in the house if a vacuum of dyson cost 2200 aed

After retiring from the military after 22 years of service I decided to buy my first house. I have heard these vacuums are amazing. I Purchased a very good vacuum that worked just fine for about the first six months. We moved into a new house and got new carpet. The vacuum did not work for some reason on the carpet. I called Dyson and they said it's because you have new carpet. That does not make any sense to me why a vacuum would not work on carpet especially new carpet. I worked with him trying to resolve the issue and then they told me they would switch it out. I Purchased my vacuum at Home Depot on a gift card that was given to me from my parents so it was not on my credit card. I could not find the receipt since at that point it had been two years. After that they would not help me I asked to talk to the supervisor and I was told one would give me a call into working days and they never called me. Very disappointed with the quality of the product and customer service especially for a disabled veteran. All I wanted was to get a different similar model in hopes that it would work. Will never buy this product again or recommend this to any of my friends. All I wanted was a replacement .

I am writing to complain about the shocking service standards provided by DYSON HONG KONG

When you buy the most expensive vacuum cleaner available on the market you expect to have a after sales service to accompany the purchase but my experience with a recent repair of my machine has been extremely poor.

Firstly I waited 3 months to get an appointment with the service center citing Covid Rules in March, however this was not the case with other appliances that I had serviced. Secondly after leaving my vacuum to be evaluated I was told it would take one week to repair after payment of the quote. It has been over 2 weeks and its impossible to get an update as to when the repair will be completed. I have spoken to multiple people through the call center in Mainland China with many promised call backs and never heard back.

Mr Dyson is comfortably living off his billions of dollars but has obviously forgotten that we the people have paid for his lifestyle and frankly this has given me such a bad taste I refuse to purchase other Dyson vacuum in the future due to the poor after sales service.

Painfully bad customer support. Only option is WhatsApp, which is reportedly always receiving a high number of requests... Takes hours/days for someone to respond, and another number of hours/days for the next response. Absolutely appalling for such pricy products. Replacement part didn't fit my machine. Was told the correct part had been ordered on my behalf and would be delivered, only to follow up a week later and get told the correct replacement had never been ordered. So frustrating!

DO NOT BUY!! Absolutely trash customer service. 1 unit not working and tech support keeps telling me to contact them again if the error persists for more than 24hrs. 2 units didn't work the day they arrived. I was told it was the power supplies and they would send two new power supplies, four weeks later I'm given an autogenerated email saying the order is cancelled because the parts are on backorder. Got in touch with customer service and they are unwilling to do anything about it and "don't have to" because I'm now out past the 30 dag return period. Would give a zero if possible.

I bought a dyson hair dryer. It was amazing and I loved it until less than a year it stopped working. I called customer service and the first guy was nice enough to send me a new hairdryer and extend my warranty. Less than eight months that hair dryer stopped working. I called Dyson customer service again and the second gentleman who was a manager was very nasty uncooperative and simply would not extend my warranty if he sent me another hairdryer. I said to him so if you don't extend my warranty given the fact that this is the third hair dryer I'm stuck with a $400 hairdryer that does not work and he said yes. So my 3rd hair dryer stopped working and I'm stuck with a Dyson product that is a total ripoff. They claim to have state of the art product technology but their products are designed to fail very quickly leaving the customer to spend more money trying to get it fixed. Don't buy a dyson hairdryer!

We can not give any star for the quality of Dayson vacuum and their customer service as well.

We bought Dayson vacuum with much money from Costco and we are so disappointed at the quality and their service. Recently we found the power of suction is very weak and can not pick up anything on the floor. The product we bought is still under the warranty. So we called them and asked how to solve the problem. They said we could take it to their repair center which is nearly 60 miles from whare we live. Otherwise, they said they could teach us how to repair it. We tried to understand their English with a very heavy accent, we failed. We had to ask them to repreat it again and again. They had no patience and hung off my phone. I tried to call them again, and we experinced the same problem. So we had to return the product to Costco. The quality of the vacuum and their service are so poor that we won't buy their products anymore.

Worst customer service ever!
It took nearly 3 weeks for them to give me an update on my order. The package got lost and they wanted to issue another order but it was going to take another 2-3 weeks to get a vacuum. I cancelled the order. Surprisingly they still charged me for it. They claimed that I had recevied the original item! Even when they had sent me an email to confirm that the order was canceled.
Every agent said something different, they had no clue what they were doing. I was not even offered an apology for all that mess.
Avoid them if you can. There are other products out there with the same or better quality; and much better customer service.

worst customer service I've encountered.
been a Dyson customer for many years.--trouble with all and replaced many parts over the years.
have a 3 year old Dyson v10---worked for 3 years and then problems.--was dropping part of what was picked up back on the floor.ordered a new canister and motor aaassembeley--basically a new machine.
received it and it works on low and med. but pulses on high.new unit and 2 fully cleaned filters--still pulses on high.
spent over 2 hrs. w.support,including a supervisor.
they were like the keystone cops--no knowledge level--said serial # is on the original battery when there is a serial # on the unit itself.
they do not take wasted time or time waiting for another new unit.
DO NOT BUY A DYSON---this will be my last replacement--will move on to a company with real customer service.

I would definitely give 0 stars if I have the opportunity to give 0 stars. We bought a firstly worst product not reliable for the price we paid and secondly worst ever customer service for the company whose products are such highly priced. We bought a Dyson supersonic air dryer end of Jan it only literally worked for few months. In those few months I have used it barely three or four times. I tried reaching out the customer service and had to be on call for hours before we sent our product for exchange end of March. After the whole process now it's mid May we still haven't received a replacement or the refund when called customer care for follow up the answers we received were all fake answers, have different color in stock etc. as a customer I have a choice on what to buy, I have priority on when to have the product. Now I ask for refund they can't refund me and wait for the product to be in stock for months. Absolutely bad company.

BAD customer service . Did not receive product. Dyson will not help. BAD business practice. They are keeping my money won't send me a new machine for the one that was never delivered even tho I gave them the UPS tracking number and claim number and they know I did not receive the machine. They say they will give me my money back in 10-14 business days which means they kept my money for 3-4 weeks, didn't followup, didn't send new machine when they agree I never got the product, refuse to send another machine to replace the one that they agree was never delivered, and they think it is ok to just tell me on the phone that they will give me my money back in 10-14 business days. I will probably not get it back as I didn't get the machine they promised.

Worst investment EVER. Battery went out on dyeing in December.Dyson sent us the wrong battery. After months of calls, they agreed to send another battery. Just got the new battery and it is again the wrong. Going on five months without being able to operate and warranty is about to expire.

Their customer service is horrible. I have a package that says delivered but it was not. They sent a $600 package without requesting a signature on delivery and now they pretend I submit a claim with UPS.
