Received an expensive Hamilton Bay microwave for my birthday and less than a year bottom where door closes and front rotted out with rust now door switch doesn't work properly have to prop something against to get to work customer service would not do anything for me since I don't have a receipt because it was a gift

So I was going to give Hamilton Beach a bad review but the company "redeemed" themselves! I ordered a convection oven directly from them bc I wanted to give THEM the business, not one of the big box stores. Days went by after I placed the order and I heard nothing from them as far as any kind of ETA or tracking. There's no number to call to actually speak with a human so I emailed them. No reply. My husband went on their Facebook page and wrote a little nasty gram and FINALLY someone messaged him back. Another week went by and still no email or message on Facebook. So I emailed customer service a second time and told them that if I didn't hear from them that I would cancel my order and would want a refund. After that email I DID hear back from customer service and they apologized and said that there was a problem with the order and that they cancelled
it and would refund my money. The refund actually came within days. After all that frustration they did the right thing. Unfortunately I would never order anything from this company again. It would just be nice if someone from customer service would have given ME an update and not leave me hanging or wondering.

I want to speak to a customer service representative regarding my slow cooker but your web site makes that impossible. My slow cooker shattered on the lowest setting . I need to reimbursed for my $25 worth of chicken, s new slow cooker top and the glass clean up for my home.

I've had my slow cooker for years, well, I'm 70 and been married 53 yrs
I laughed today when noticed settings almost worn off but it did a delicious pot roast. Built to last as so much isn't anymore!

- I wanted to return some damaged/defective products in the guarantee period, they didn't accept by manufacturing a non-sense excuse!
- Some of the products they shipped were lost and when I told them that the customer service treated me like I'm paranoid!
- They've canceled one of my orders and deleted the discount code I used immediately!

The company doesn't give a single f to customers. If you're going through to buy anything from their website you are on your own and accepted the risks.

I'd suggest everyone buy through Amazon etc. because there is not even a phone line that you can reach to the company!

and when you finally contact someone via email they make everything to annoy you.

The company itself basically a la-la land.

I've never bought an appliance before that was designed to fail soon after a year and where its company didn't do what it could to make things right and keep a customer. Why would I spend another $60-80 on yet another appliance from a company that doesn't stand behind its product? If you weren't planning on offering to replace it, why did you need my mailing address?

Since you insist I find my year old (or older) receipt, I will look for it and will get back to you if I find it; having to dig up a receipt, especially after such a tumultuous time in my life, is reason on its own to be frustrated with Hamilton Beach. Also, I can't fathom how this company 1) first off, counts the warranty from purchase date, as ordering by mail obviously has a lag time till receipt of item; 2) second, does not stand behind its products, warranty or no, after a year. I won't be buying any HB appliance ever again just for that kind of hands-off responsibility; 3) doesn't understand or care that feedback about this negative experience with the HB product failure--and the failure of the company to offer any explanation, apology or helpful resolution--will be left on every pertinent website and social network available, including consumer help sites (BBB for one), to let them know this was far from a satisfactory outcome.

I'll also be sure to dissuade all family and acquaintances from purchasing your products in the future since HB obviously is not the quality company it used to be.

I bought a blender last December used it for the time in October 2021 and while using it it stops l emailed all my information to the company including a copy of my receipt they say l over used it without liquid in it l was purée pumpkin worst customer service ever wouldn't recommend their products cause they don't stand behind their warranty and try to put the blame on you now telling me l have to purchase another blender

I purchased a electric can opener model number 76606Z Series G4502E6 about 6 weeks ago. It worked fine until 2 weeks ago. I have tried to contact company via emIl and calling but customer service numbers says they aren't taking calls due to Covid. No response on emails. I no longer have box that the can opener came in as it worked for a few weeks. I'm out $40.00 on a POS and no one bothers to contact me back.

My Wife bought a Hamilton Beach microwave model P90D23AL-WR in July 2020 because I got covid not a year today is 4/24/21on on the back of microwave is show MANURFACTORED IN MAY OF 2020, and it caught of fire last night not even a year old, and you customer service person on the phone wants to tell me about original receipt I had covid I can't remember we were sick and my wife got it right after I got it I mean you going to talk to me about that who keeps that stuff when you're sick and playing his day it tells you in the back it's not even a year old manufactured May 2020. Y'all got a flaw in your microwave I don't give you a good review at all.

We have a Hamilton Beach can opener Mod.# 76606Z Series 6 3751 EG.
It puts small ground metal shavings into the can when using it.
This is very dangerous and after discovering this is happening we no longer want to use can opener.

I had A Brew station for about ten years and loved it. I now have bought my third one trying to replace it two from Amazon and one from Walmart. all three leak real bad from the dispensers.
it isn't coffee grounds I rN WATER THROUGH THEM FIRST. i LOVE THE BREW STATION IS THERE ANYTHING i CAN DO BEFORE i TAKE THIS ONE BACK AND GIVE UP?

You people have to be kidding.......I stupidly purchased a hand mixer by Hamilton Beach thinking I was getting a BETTER product! Model:62648
All it does is SPLASH all over my kitchen. You cannot change speeds, it's the most horrendous product I ever wasted money on!!
I threw box and receipt away or I'd WALK it back to WalMart!
You should reimburse me triple for all the mess and damage YOUR product produced! All my cookbooks were ruined, my clothes and rags from cleaning up this ridiculous mess!! Shame on you for selling such a useless thing!!

After multiple (at least TEN) corresponding emails with customer service I am appalled by their definition of "customer service". I attempted to get a replacement item for a defective and dangerous coffee maker my 84 year old mom has. It is less than a year old.
Hamilton Beach reaction/response was because the 1 year warrant no longer is valid they will appease me with a "free shipping" offer when I purchase another Hamilton Beach product, which OBVIOUSLY will never happen...I mean why would I ever purchase another Hamilton Beach product after their unprofessional and uncaring response to my complaint???? Wow. Really guys?

I had an electric can opener of your that wasn't working properly , so I sent it back to be evaluated and they said it wasn't working properly, but it was out of warranty so they kept it now I have to use a manual one with neuropathy in both hands due to cancer treatments , they offered to sell me one with a discount but it was more expensive with the discount than I could purchase one on line with free shipping, I think this a awful way to treat a customer !!!!!

Trying to get warranty replacement for a coffee maker with a 5 year warranty which died after 1.5 years. Filed complaint in May 5, 1019. It is now Nov 5, 2019 and no resolution to the problem in spite of paying their $10 shipping charge.

We have a Hamilton beach espresso and cappuccino maker bought in 2015. After a year it started giving trouble.Have sent numerous mails and called customer care ..till date no one has turned up neither have they replied.#hamiltonbeachcustomercare#india#sucks

I just bought this juicer ..big mouth juicer,,,,I called because i had questions about the product and warranty,,,,nobody answered..........almost 30 min later someone came on.,.this is not customer service..this is a joke,,,i am returning my product and buying another product with better customer service,,,i am so sick of companies not dealing with customers,,,,,do NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HAMILTON BEACH!

Have been dealing with this issue since September, 2018. I talked to an operator who said a new percolator which had been loud and churning since day 1 would be shipped to me if I cut the cord and and send a picture of proof. Did as instructed and had no satisfaction. Sent multiple emails, called again, was told my pictures didn't go through so I sent again. No response. When I called and left my callback number, but no one called back. My time and my emotional health advises me to let this go. BUT my sense of justice says ignoring customers is not a fair way to conduct business. I have had Hamilton Beach products in past and was happy with longevity. I am now on hold again (24 minutes seems excessive) and hope to get some resolution. A company's reputation is lost gradually with little offenses one at a time. It seems Hamilton Beach is on its way.

This is the timeline of your customer service support.

To date: Not resolved.

This is a shower gift for my Son and his fiance'.
Bridal Shower is Oct. 6, 2018.

This is the last time I deal with Hamilton Beach.

Really disappointing experience with Hamilton Beach.

I understand their limited warranty policy and never thought would need to worry about it. But right now I am really dissatisfied at both their product and customer service. I bought their electric kettle and less than a year it started to leak, and I was told to pay the shipping in order for a replacement which does not come with a warranty. Can't believe I have to pay for the shipping on the product that the company doesn't have enough confidence to guarantee. If I have to spend money, with my current poor experience with Hamilton Beach, I might as well go for other brands.

Hi, we purchased Hamilton beach Icecream maker through amazon India . The product got delivered but in the first attempt itself the motor got burnt . I am looking for a repair center in Mumbai , India, as amazon people are not ready to replace or repair the same . Waiting for your advice . Thanks

There is no such thing as customer service. I bought one of their toasters and it lasted a matter of weeks. I could not reach anyone at customer service. They ignored my email and the hold time is 24 minutes. There must be a lot of angry (former) customers waiting to speak with them.
