My Husqvarna mower caught fire only 5 weeks after purchase. I spent over $1800.00 and now have no mower. The customer service was terrible, no help. And they are still selling mowers that can catch fire for no reason.

Have had a 1 season used Husqvarna 450 rancher at the dealer since the spring due to the carburetor which is still under warranty. Husqvarna is claiming it is on backorder until november. Dozens of brand new ones are sitting on the shelf and they cannot resolve or make this problem right so I can keep my home heated this winter. Customer service is terrible. First off, you cannot talk to anyone you have to chat online and then when you wait for a response you never get one even when they indicate it will be a couple days for follow up.

We purchased a Husqvarna chainsaw in May...2 months later it's completely dead. Will not start. We contacted customer service. Were told it was under warranty and told us which shop to take it to. They wanted $75 just to drop it off. Then a week later told us it needed a carburetor. Said that wasn't covered under warranty. Wouldn't you think if a carburetor could go bad in 60 days it would be consisered defective? Refused to honor the warranty. Shame on Husqvarna! Not an honest way to do business for sure. So we're just out that money for a 2 month old saw that is useless now.

We bought a chainsaw at the end of April. Used only 2 times. Chainsaw started choking and choke was not working. I went back to the place where I PURCHASED it (LOWES) where I was told they could not do anything about it bc I was 10 past the 30 days. I would have to contact the company. I did. They sent me to a local dealer to check it out. I had to give a down payment so they could diagnose it. And it has been there for over a month. The local dealer claims they are waiting for Husqvarna to give ok to fix it. I DONT WANT THIS CHAINSAW ANYMORE.. I WANT MY MONEY REIMBURSED. I AM HIGHLY DISSASITFIED. WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THIS. YOU CANT GET THRU TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I paid over 300.00 for this chainsaw.

Bought a new 415X Auto Mower on June 1st. Have since been trying to reach a person at Husqvarna...trying to get my $100 dollar rebate for being referred. ABC incentives.com is supposedly handling this, but when I attempt to fill out the rebate form, my model isn't listed. Won't let me proceed until I fill in a model number. Have tried chatting with customer service. They tell me that ABC handles this. Have left 7 messages at their phone number... no messages returned due to protecting their employees from Covid. B.S. Would never have purchased this if I'd known how lousy Husqvarna customer service is. Don't advertise it if you're not going to honor it!!

On 4/4/22 I took my TS248XD to the dealer after the transaxle failed with 25 hours on it. On 5/5/22 the dealer told me they were going to pull a transmission from the manufacturing line (Tuftorque) and send it. It is now 6/10/22, and all I hear is crickets. I have been unsuccessful, after 20+ attempts, in contacting a human save one who immediately
transferred me back to the same robot I keep trying to avoid.

Does anyone know how to get warranty service on a Huskvarna riding mower?

They have charged my card for a mulching kit they do not have in stock been waiting a few weeks local store has them so tried to cancel no luck so far and you cannot get anyone to respond to you

I am not paying you anything. I spent hundreds of dollars 3 years ago and now mower cannot be fixed! Just tell me my options

Posted by Rippedoff

What a piece of garbage. Fell apart in 6 years and the cost to fix is 3/4 what the origional price was and twice what its worth.. ok maybe 3 or 4 times its worth. I called the company after the dealer explained that the transmission they put in was a bad design. That it had multiple failures with total replacement necessary. And oh how very sorry customer service was. They were so " sad" and " hated" that this happened. Yeah, me too. But wait, they profited 100%, I got half of what I paid for. They said they would follow thru but nothing yet. Its 90 degrees out there, three weeks of no mowing and us well over 65 yrs old, looking for a decent mower from a good company. It isnt Husqvarna, thats for sure. They dont care, but Id never buy any of their products again, nor would I tell anyone to trust their product quality or customer service.

I am totally appalled with the Husqvarna Customer Service phone and on line help they offer. I have failed to speak to a human person or find a web site that actually helps you. For a giant company like Husqvarna, I feel there customer support policy is; we will manufacturer the product, sale it to you and you figure out how to get it repaired. I called one of their recommended repair shops and the only help I received was I had to bring the Lawn tractor into the shop at a pick and delivery fee of $80.00 plus parts and labor. No verbal technical support unless you pay for it. JOHN DEER hear I come!!!

I bought a St230 snowblower in December 2021. I got a real lemon. It spent more time in the shop than in working condition. Luckily, the worker at the dealer in Mont Laurier would come and get it and lend us another while it was been repaired.

I rate them 0 across the board because I have a lawn tractor that has 560 hours use and is useless .I'll never buy another product that they make and I would hope nobody else does.

You are undoubtedly the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure calling. Fire the computer which is obviously programmed to provide no service and hang up. Hire humans that can provide help

My son's wife got him a new Husqvarna leaf blower for his birthday.
He tried using it, but no luck. He said it would start under choke but would not run in normal mode.
He contacted the mfg support and they told him to take it to particular dealer who does warranty work for them.
I went with him. We get to this repair shop.. First thing the man did was open the gas cap, look inside and say: "You got bad gas!".
My son looked at me shaking his head...I know he wouldn't do anything that stupid. He has other machines that use 2 cycle fuel mix.
My son insisted they take a look since this was a new blower. The guy said: "OK, but before we do anything,
we'll need $ 50! Sometimes we have hard time getting paid by the mfg even if the unit is under warranty.
After the work is done we will apply $ 50 towards the repair." My son and I argued, "We shouldn't have to pay anything for warranty work.
What is the purpose of warranty ?" We were being noticed by the others in the shop so my son said: "It's OK dad, $ 50 won't kill me..."
So he left them the blower. Four weeks later he gets a phone call to come and get his unit.
Apparently engine was blown, piston scratched beyond repair...all from using the "wrong" fuel...
My son didn't feel like going. He said what was the point, he was going to throw this piece of junk away anyway.
I talked him into going. I said I would take it and "mess" with it.
Fast forward to last week. There was nothing wrong with it. All it needed was carb adjustment.
It runs great... When mfg sends blowers, trimers, mowers, and chain saws they don't adjust the carbs.
My son was out for the price of this unit, plus $ 50 for the "repair"...and he still had nothing to show for it.
What kind of customer service is this??? Their web site has no contact info...only canned, robotic answers. Say away as far as you can!
Do not buy their products!

I'm not going to post a bad comment I am going to say I got to use my 18 inch 400 a total of 4 times before putting it in the shop because it wouldn't start they said it was a bad carb at 4 weeks old . I honestly had better luck out of a130 dollar saw . very disappointed at this point.

Spent two days on the phone with customer service just to find a chain for my chainsaw.First rep thought he had it figured out, but it turns out that his information was wrong after giving him all the model, run numbers and serial number. Second rep spent 2 hours with me only to end our conversation by indicating technical support could not figure out the correct chain. She suggested I take it to a repair shop. I do my own work and own a husqvarna blower, hedge trimmer and the chainsaw so I am a loyal customer. The disappointment and frustration of not having the manufacturer even identify their product and its parts is just ridiculous.I would not buy another husqvarna product again. There are odther brands that will deserve my attention

Want to cancel order #1193703204219. Ordered the "in stock" part July 12th...have called the xxx-xxx-xxxx number 5 times...told part in warehouse awaiting shipment 3 different times...lie lie and lie...called Monday told same thing but would follow up with email to me...lie and another lie...no email...called early this morning said they would get with somebody to cancel and call me back...another lie! I have done innumerable online transactions and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had...please just cancel and promptly refund my money and I promise Husqvarna will never have to deal we me again! Thanks

To Whom It May Concern,

My reasons for writing to you are multifold. I recently purchased an Auto mower, the 435X, and wanted to congratulate Husqvarna for producing another fine homeowner tool. All of my yard equipment is Husqvarna because your products ALL embody the elegant and functional engineering, I have strived to achieve in my engineering management professional career. It is apparent that Husqvarna applies system engineering discipline in the design of your products.

The 435X is simple, rugged, intuitive to operate and a true workhorse. I purchased the robotic lawnmower because I have 1.1 acres hill that is entirely sloped. The slope ranges from 25 to 70 degrees. I traditionally mowed it by traveling upslope and backing down, under power, in my garden tractor. I was always fearful that the power belt would snap and I could come down backwards without any control. The 435X eliminated the issue. Congratulations on a fantastic piece of futuristic equipment!

I have a few suggestions that might make the product easier from a customer service perspective. First, it is important to realize that the average American consumer is not as sophisticated as are the average European or Scandinavian buyers.

1. I tried to purchase directly from a local dealer to include installation. That failed in a manner that reflects upon Husqvarna negatively.
2. I then purchased the 435X from a dealer, on line, as they had existing inventory. When I attempted to begin installation, your manual repeatedly referred to a pin code in order to start the installation process. The document did not refer to either the need for registration nor to the fact the serial number of the unit was only available on the packaging and that it was a necessary factor in obtaining the factory pin code. Normally I would cut the cardboard packaging for recycling within 1-3 days. Had I done so the serial number would have been lost to me forever. Also, it is necessary to understand that the nearest full-service dealership is 2.5 hours (one way) drive. It would also be helpful if I could correct any errors in my registration database without using Husqvarna customer service.
3. Your manual included an estimator for the mower time to ensure 100% coverage. My lawn is approximately 1.1 acres. The system fails to provide any indicator of the amount of bounded area that has actually been mowed. Consequently, I have spent two weeks assessing the coverage by walking the hill and adjusting the operating time accordingly. If the GPS record could produce an estimate of the percentage lawn mowed, the system operating schedule would be much easier to estimate and set.

The system has been installed and operating for 3 weeks and has shown itself to be reliable thus far. I would appreciate knowing how long in operating hours the unit is expected to operate without failure.

Best Regards,

Tony Corrado

I brought a used mower and used it very little for 2 of 3 years cause it breaks down constantly. Has new motor and new safety switch. Got it going after a little trash removed from the gas. Now it's the transmission. It's a yr outside of the recalled mowers but its sucking the life out of me. Me and mowers dont get along.

I purchased a ST330 snow blower with what they claim has hand warmers. Could not feel any heat and contacted my dealer who said they are working, but with a bare hand couldn't feel any warmth. He stated they are "warmers" not heaters. A full throttle they showed a temp of 91 degrees. Hey, our body temp is 98.6 so how is 91 temp going to warm my hands, Customer Service stated the warmers are manufactured to be 80 degrees, even worse then the measured 91! Our snowmobile hand warmers produce enough heat to keep our hands warm, even at low or medium settings in our Minnesota environment at temps of 21 below zero. So far cannot find anyone at Husqvarna who has an answer, other "than 80 degrees should keep your hands warm". Obvious they haven't used the blower in cold weather. No more Husqvarna product for me.
