My brethren chronicle books I purchased did not down load onto my devise so I can not read. I've been trying to get help with this for days. The books are paid for so I'd like to read them please! Never happened before but its a pain! Please let me know how to remedy this problem.

I'm new to Kindle fire, and I needed help getting my daughter's info off the Kindle. The service support didn't understand what I was saying, and wasn't much help. Instead of using foreigners, why can't they use someone who understands what you are saying and needing. He eventually put me on hold and didn't come back. I hate this kind of service. I hope it will be better.

I have 2 kindles. When the Kindle Fire had a problem had to go through 3 different techs to finally git the issue resolved. When the second Kindle had a problem the techs were unable to resolve the problem. In both cases the techs wanted to wipe the device which meant reloading and resort all the books. Neither problem required a wipe to fix the issue. As an engineer I questioned their instructions as they did not make sense for addressing the problem. In both cases they couldn't explain why they wanted to wipe the device or what the root problem was. In fact they did know what the root problem was. The kindle techs work seem to work off a script and most do not have technical backgrounds at all. If your problem is not known then they are no help at all. The lines they hand out trying to sound technical are a joke. I would rather they admitted they don't know then make up crap.

I have had 2 kindles given to me as gifts !! The last was a Kindle fire. Both Kindles stopped charging. I was told the problem is in the "charging port" something there is loose!!. I don't understand why this issue hasn't been resolved with the Kindle. I am disappointed that I was offered some type of discount or compensation for this . I also had a difficult time understanding the representative on the phone

Be very careful about fraudulent purchased through Amazon Kindle. I recently discovered over $400 in charges not authorized by me. I contacted Kindle and they told me that their return policy was 7 days and that there was nothing that they could do. I explained that these charges were not authorized against my credit card. Still no luck. I disputed the charges through Chase (Amazon Visa card) and Kindle told Chase that there was nothing that they would do; no refund. How do they expect to keep a customer with fraudulent charges to the 7 day return/refund policy when you don't notice it until you get your credit card statement.

Anyone subscribing to Kindle should be aware of this! Worst customer experience ever!

My kindle paperwhite started showing a line on the screen and i contacted amazon. Even though my warrant had just expired, the customer service man was fantastic and walked me through the steps to get a replacement in less than ten minutes. 4th Kindle on the way and I'm never leaving Amazon.

My Kindle died out of warranty with under one hours use, having been treated like a baby (not dropped or squeezed). Customer Service offered only to sell me another one at a discount. They assume we all dropped our Kindles. Not me. Not a way to win customers. I will never buy another one.

I have a defective Fire 8.9 HD and have done everything the help desk said but it still doesn't work half the time. I haven't had any luck speaking with any about an exchange. We accidentally keep getting cut off. I bought it in March 2015 and have been complaining since June. I guess Amazon doesn't care about their customers, they just want to get the sale. This is the last Kindle for me. $400.00 is a lot of money for a piece of crap. Very dissatisfied customer!!!

Please Can Someone Sort Out My Kindle Payments. I Have Numerous Emails To Try And Sort It Out. Now I Have Been Informed That Monies Have Been Paid In To My Bank Account But This Is Not My Bank Account No. My Emails To Yet Again Get This Sorted Out Have Been Rejected By Kindle. Just What Is Going On? My Money Was Paid In On July 29 2015 But Not In My Account. No One Can Explain The Full Page Of Payments L,isted On My Account As Paid In Cheques In Usd,cd, Or Euros Which I Have Not Received, Especially As I Asked For My Payments To Be Paid Straight In To My Bank Account. Kindle Strated To Be Helpful But Refuse To Now Explain These Discrepencies. Can I Consider This Fraud?

Had to call support to register my new kindle as I lost my old one. (Stolen) I had a very hard time understanding my support person, Allen. Eventually with the help of my husband we were registered. Here is my 2nd complaint ( First being the language barrier - he spoke English I could not understand) He told us we were hacked and was trying to get us to go to Tech Tracher and for $349.99, they could fix our problem. Is this acceptable to Kindle that your employees are pushing companies even when we said that we have the Geek Squad for a year and that we would let them fix any problems. Allen Stone then said Geek Squad could not fix this problem. Very disappointed with our service. Bring jobs back to America so our people who speak English are put to work,

My Kindle Fire battery just exploded and cracked open my Kindle while charging. It's a first generation. Called Amazon and while on the phone the battery expanded more and the customer service rep heard the cracking sound. I was told there was nothing they could do since it's outside of warranty. Offered me a "discount" to buy another one instead of replacement. This is a product defect. I asked why it wasn't recalled. They said they are aware of the battery issue but it was only a small percentage of people this happened to. Guess us "small percentage" people have to just eat the cost of a defective product that Amazon won't backup. Very, very disappointed with Amazon. I've been a longtime customer and Prime member. I really thought a company of this size would be more interested in customer satisfaction and safety. Now I'm stuck with a $200 fire hazard sitting on my nightstand.

Kindle HD 8.9 Can't replace port!!!!!!!!

If you need to repair or replace charging port, you are in trouble. I checked around St Louis and no one had the right charger port to installed. This port is different from the port in smaller kindles. The only place they could locate one was in Hong Kong. I called Kindle customer service, they could not give me any information regarding finding someone to fix this. I was told we can sell you another one at a discount rate. I paid 169.00 for mine, their offer was $429.00 to replace it. CRAZY. So I bought this Kindle and no one can fix it...What is that!!!!!! EX:
OK... I buy a car for 25,000 cash I love my car but at some point I need new tires. I call around and no has the type of tires I need. I go to dealer and they do not have them. Can't get new tires for my car. So what do I do...... go and buy the same car for 30,000 just so I can have the car I want with tires. That is how KINDLE takes care of business.

The paper white kindle I ordered did not work. Amazon replaced it within 2 days. Pretty good good service.

My Kindle Paperwhite has stopped downloading books purchased on my P.C.
I can read them on my PC or on my Tablet ( They are clearer and better quality than the kindle paperwhite.) However they do not appear on my paperwhite.
Also you cannot search by price on the Paperwhite. A ploy designed to make you buy the more expensive titles.
The cost of many of the titles, is only a little short of the real book. This is so much inferior to a real book, however I am running out of space to store them all!
You cannot zoom in to see diagrams or pictures, so a lot of the content I want to see is unreadable.
Customer service was non existent, unless your query was a FAQ. ( Even then, their replies were not very good.)
There is a lot about it that I like, but I have given up using it..
The last time I used it was as a bookmark in a proper book.

I just want to return an ebook I bought from Kindle in early April. I just got around to reading it, and the navigation does not work. Keeps jumping all over the place. There is absolutely no help on website. No phone number no instructions (that work) It must mean that the seller does not allow returns. If I went to a brick and mortar store, I would be able to return a defective book. Please help me

Called because I couldn't apply gift card, I don't know my account info, since the kindle was a gift. You're customer service needs to be in an English speaking and English understanding country! When I told the rep I couldn't understand him, he hung up. This happened three times! What,s going on? My Kindle's on fire right now,so is my temper!

Don’t Buy / Gift Kindle Tab ….the worst gift I ever had given to my Son on his Birthday

For my Son’s 10th Birthday, I have purchased this KINDLE FIRE TAB by paying AED 899 from Jambo Electronics Dubai and when my son noticed in India that it is not working, then we called up India customer service helpline and the reply was as below :

“We are sorry... We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

While selling they have informed me that it has world wide warranty, but when we spoke to India customer care they informed us in writing that this product is for USA sale and use only and can’t be used in other countries. I was shocked to know if that was the case why it is sold in other countries. Are they dumping the outdated model in other countries and looting the public money by cheating? They don’t even have the service center to repair also and once you buy you will never get service / replacement and you will have to throw it in dustbin.

Kindle Tab comes with a one year warranty, and we have been writing to the company for last 3 years, but the company is having a short term vision to dump the outdated model in other countries and make money in this competitive world by selling at lower price and my humble suggestion to the children’s and their parents that you should never go for a Kindle Tab, instead pay some more money and go for a Samsung TAB.

It was a sorry face to me in front of my child to whom I have gifted a KINDLE FIRE TAB as a Birthday Gift, which I will never forget in my life and request all the buyers to be alert, as I have treated this AED 899 as donation to the CEO & Management of AMAZON / KINDLE.
