Great info from this site as well as many others. I was researching phones for a large company purchase, but based on reviews I will be moving on.

I have purchased 2 phones made by Kyocera. Both of which stopped working within days of activation. Kyocera sends me to my original purchase place or instructs me to call a service provider (one of which that I do not have service with) to get my phone(s) repaired/replaced.
There is no attempt to honor any warranty or to replace these poorly made products. I have bought my last product from Kyocera. I am now contacting the many office supply buyers that I work with and sharing my story with them. I have also contacted the service carrier and a couple of major retailers in order to inform them on Kyocera's poor customer service on the products they sell. As Clark Howard says in his consumer beware shows, "They have customer no service". BEWARE! These products are junk!

I am frustrated because I'm not able to see my incoming or outgoing calls unless they are in my contact list. This is causing me to to lose jobs because I'm not able to retrieve the number(s) How can this be resolved?

Why cant I do a hot spot on my C6730 kyocera phone.

I will NEVER own another Kyocera phone again!!The phone was junk from day 1, my first contact with customer service was day 3 when my messaging stopped working. I ended up having to find the answer to my issue on google. I spent 4 months troubleshooting that phone with google before the charging port broke and I had no choice but to send it to them for repair. after a week I called because they had not emailed me to confirm they received my phone. They had and they had decided it was going to need replace. I was told they were waiting on a shipment and I would be getting my replacement soon. I waited another week and called again and again they were still waiting for this phantom shipment. The longer I waited the more I called and no one had any real info. Then after a month and a half of calling I get this woman on the phone and ask her about when my phone is coming in. She tells me to hold while she looks it up. I give her the RMA and wait and she comes back with some crap about the techs still working on my phone. UM EXCUSE ME!! I flat out told her I was waiting on a shipment of phones to come in to replace the broken one now look it up and put a supervisor on the phone. I was livid to say the least. She didn't even check the status just gives me a line of bs, yeah Im not the one. At that point I demanded my money back. I was told they would send a check as soon as corporate received a fax of my receipt so I went the next day and faxed it, I called shortly afterward to confirm they received the fax. I was told I would have to call the corporate office so I did and was told they had it. A week later and still no check!! Now I consider myself a reasonable person but after this fiasco I was done. I called corporate AGAIN and demanded to know what was going on. I literally had the number to the better business bureau and told the boy that answered that if he did not have answers for me I would be hanging up and calling to report them. My check should come in the mail tomorrow but we will see, Im not going to hold my breath. Needless to say after this I will never in my life own a Kyocera phone. As a matter of fact I recommend avoiding Kyocera at all costs. They are awful!! Not only do they seem to not know how to use their own system to find info (like tracking the phantom shipment) but they are plain to lazy to even look up your RMA and attempt to give you correct information. I've seen better customer service at the city DMV.

Howdy...I must say that Kyocera over all IS NOT a bad product...but SOME ARE THE MOST HORRIBLE PIECES OF POO the Planet has ever seen...Like nthe HYDRO...oh man...I got trapped into buying 2...stupid me...and it raised my (BOOST/Sprint)Rate 5 dollars a month..The first pghone I have is a Kyocera INNUENDO by Sanyo...very good little phone 3G let me add the 3G part Sprint got me in the tail over this...its a 3G...ahem...3G phones are cdma and the RATES ARE SUPPOST TO BE THE35.00 A MONTH i PAID UNTIL i REACHED THE 35,00 RATE DOWN FROM50 A MONTH...BUT AS SOON AS i OPENED THE DOOR TO kYOCERA(NOT KNOWING)hYDRO REFURBY AND THE RATE WENT UP TO 40.OO AND HAS REMAINED...I PURCHASED A new FROM AMAZON AND IT failed at 4 months...Still under Warrentee NO I AM NOT going to spend my money shipping that pile to BOOST...NO...I have a new LG Realm...I so LOVE this phone...I can be cute or sweet or well it is har5d to be nasty on such a sweet phone...

I've had the Kyocera event from virgin mobile for about a year and its my second Kyocera phone and let me just say that this brand of phone is the WORST MOST HORRIBLE PIECE OF CRAP PHONE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! Every phone I've had shuts off on me! Its freezes the text is delayed it kicks me off my games and the internet its CONSTANTLY saying that my apps don't work! I can NEVER download anything, it takes for ever to load everything on my phone! When I go into my gallery and I slide to the next picture it glitches and DOESN'T switch to the next picture and the apps are CONSTANTLY stopping INCLUDING the apps that I DONT use! This stupid piece of crap is WORTHLESS its thee BIGGEST waste of time!!! AND the BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I'VE EVER SPENT IN MY LIFE!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER WASTE MY MONEY ON THIS BRAND OF PHONE AGAIN! NOR WILL I EVER ADVISE OR REFER ANYONE TO BUY THIS BRAND OF PHONE!!!!! You should be ASHAMED to sell this product!!! My name is Tina and you WILL BE expecting a phone call from me on Monday January 5th 2015. I'll try to not use colorful language and keep my attitude in check but I am CLEARLY not happy with your services and I will never get this brand again!!

FHello..i purchased this Kyocera Hydro brand new through ebay...cost effectivness allowed me to do so sonce my other hydro is refurbished...now I am having all kinds of trouble with this new unit...the battery prongs on nregative side wouldnt retract...and i must have this phone to live in case of heart failure...i am seriously afraid ot isnt safe to own...the Sanyo Kyocera Innuendo was far more reliable but i broke the screen w/recliner...

I gave my MFP 1020 for toner replacement ,but kept 4 months with them saying all pretext,finally,i was told it would cost more than the new unit cost.i feel i was bullied ,besides that i suspect the integrity of the store manager&service men,they stole all working spares of the machine.left it useless& communicated that it would costRs20,000(twenty thousand)

The customer service is terrible as well as the smartphone itself I have had it less than 1 year and have now sent it out twice with the same problems they did pay for shipping the second time however they could not locate my phone for four days after Fed-ex delivered it.They continue to tell me they have not resolved the problem but i had been told they would replace rather than repair it this time which they have not done.and their guarantee of a 10 day turn around
is up in 2 buisness days but say they can ot yet confirm the shipping date since the problem has not been resolved.

Bought the Kyocera Brigadier, new, less than a month ago.. Called Kyocera Customer Service, waited on hold for 32 minutes. The Rep. could not understand me, nor could I understand him. Language barrier. Transferred me, waited another 17 minutes, to be told I needed to go through my carrier if I have a manufacturers defect with Kyocera. The whole incident was absurd.
DO NOT buy a Kyocera product, if you expect to need customer service, technical support. or use your warranty.

I purchased a Kyocera Milano last year and have had nothing but problems. The main one being the battery would not charge. I went round and round with Tech Support for months. Finally they had me send the phone to N.Y. along with the original receipt; they would not accept a copy. The phone was kept for almost two months. According to them, new parts had to be ordered. They returned the phone, back to me, with the same problem and kept my original receipt and refused to return it. Finally I got with the corporate office in California. A new battery was finally sent. The same thing started happening again and the phone is now, as of 8/7/2014, completely dead and I cannot retrieve any data from the phone. I phoned corporate twice and finally got Peter. He stated that a new phone is not justified because nothing was found wrong with the phone. I sent him the info on 8/7, by fax, that was sent to me when the phone was returned showing that there were problems. Upon receipt, he did not call. I followed up on 8/8 and he had received the fax. It is now 8/26 and I still have not heard from Peter. What kind of customer service is this? I have purchased many cell phones and have never had to have one serviced. The worst phone ever.

I bought my phone on April 30th 2014. I had problems with it charging and so I was told to send it to the repair place in El Paso Texas. I just now got an email that the phone would not be under warranty as it was my fault I jammed the charger in too hard!!!! So no coverage under warranty. They tell me it costs $39 to fils it. I paid it with my credit card and now as of 6/2.14 they tell me it takes 6 to 10 days to get my phone back!! They can sure take my money right away but not get my phone bct to me in a timely matter. The customer support person told me there is no phone number for the repair place I can only go throgh them (they are in California and only correspond by email to the repair shop) Who does that kind of business?? They probably don't have a phone number because too many people would be calling them to complain. I have visions that my hone is just sitting there all the while they have my money just laughing at how they screwed another person!

for those of u who say u cant get through to anyone cause ur on hold for so long try calling this number i never have any prob getting through to tech suppor on tht number i got the number from my service carrier n i had to send my phone to texas for repair this is the 2nd time ive had to do this ive had my phone for less then a year 2 months after i bought my phone i had to send it in cause the keyboard had a malfunction n now 8 months later it stopped chargeing n when it would say it was charging it was really losing charge finally it went all way dead so had to send it in cause it wouldnt turn on cause it wouldnt charge n its such a hassle cause it takes forever to get ur phone back it says estimated time prob bout couple wks but its been a month jus like the 1st time i think its us the kyocera products theyre junk n i will never ever buy another kyocera anything evber again

I have a kyocera hydro i have had it only a few months now ive already had to have it completly rebooted 3 times the screen keeps going to a black screen the microphone doesnt work all the time i have to push the end button 4 or 5 times to end a call ive sent my phone into kyocera tech. They kept my phone for over 3 wks. While i actually had to PAY to use a flip phone from boost mobile that all it did was talk @ text @ not very well at that it actually cost me an extra 10$ jan.2014 while my phone u was at the warehouse! I feel so put out my phone has a 1 year manufacturer warranty on it kyocera kept my phone for over 3 wks. Its actually worse now! @ i lost all of my a granddaughtersgranddaughters pictures @ 2 apps that i cant get back now they want me to ship it right back! WHAT i want a brand new phone please u have been put out entirely too much already! Please respond

My Daughter Has A Kyocers Hydro. It Has A Feature Called " Frequently Called Numbers", In Speaking With Your Tech Support, We Learned That Phone Nimbers In The Frequently Called List " Can Not Be Deleted". Unles Youre-set Your Cell Phone Back Tro It's Original Settings "deleting Everything", Whoever Designed This Feature Hhas To Be A Total Idiot.

I Work For A Clinic, I Recieved A Call From A Customer Service Agent. They Ask For My Manager, I Told Them That Someone Had Already Called An Spoken To Her Previously This Morning. The Agent Used Profanity An Ask Me If I Was My Manager's Girlfriend Because I Wouldnt Let Her Speak To Her. What Kind Of Customer Service Is That? I Will Be On The Search For Someone Higher Up In Management To Get This Taken Care Of.
