We sold my L-R 2 with less than 30,000 miles/5.5 years old. I kept in perfect shape and with an extended warranty. WHY? The dealership did not hold up to the promises at purchase (oil changes, transportation when car was to be service, wouldn't guarantee and timely completion of an oil change even when an appointment was made).

We had over a year left on our warranty. Upon purchase of our new vehicle we contacted the Land Rover Dealership to see about a refund. Apparently it is a common practice for other dealerships to refund and prorate the remainder of the coverage, but not Land Rover. It has been 3 weeks and we are told they are too busy to research. I think they are waiting for the year and half to pass.

When I purchase my Land Rover I bought it travel too and from my cabin in the mountains. Well, it didn't like the cold or the heat. The sensors just stopped working and the car would just stop.

May be you can help me at least get some information from Land Rover of San Diego. My next step is to report to the better business bureau. I guess they just don't care!!!!!!

i signed papers to a land rover at the close of business on a saturday..barely made it to my home...call salesman within 45 mins and he had a tow truck pick it up on monday...their service department put over a quart of extra oil in the vehicle...and they fixed it...it has been 4 days and they still have the vehicle and said they cannot switch me out bcuz i signed papers..said their regional manager will call me on the 5th day in the morning to let me know if they will switch me out..so keep driving the loaner car even if it is there fault and until a regional mgr call to say that i can have a different..in the meantime..they have sent my paperwork to the bank to finance it..even though I do not have vehicle. I have never went through this with a dealership..this is sad and i hope no one has to go through this or be treated this way..never purchase from land rover ever again or at least not this dealership..they treat you like trash.

Range Rover less than 1 yr old involved in crash. ELEVEN MONTHS later it still isn't out of the shop, due to delayed delivery of parts, wrong parts sent, and general complete lack of interest by Land Rover in providing any kind of assistance to the customer. Never again.

driveshaft broke on 2003 land rover discovery... although there is a recall for the 2003 RANGE ROVER with the same EXACT problem - the recall doesn't exist for the discovery model! Numerous complaints regarding the same issue are all over the internet!!! Submit a claim into NHTSA to report problem - hopefully they will be able to get a recall going!!

4 YEAR OLD FREELANDER , ENGINE BLOWN , 144000KM ,COST TO REPLACE ENGINE NEARLY €10000. I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO OTHER CUSTOMERS.

Doesn't return calls regarding pending cases. Customer Service waits( in excess of two months) until customer calls again.

I have been a landrover customer for 8 years purchasing 3 new vehicles in this time. the 1st car the freelander brand new after 6 months the engine blew up l had to pay an extra £2500 to get another vehicle even though it was not my fault. Now my range sport is only 4 years old the alternator has gone on it and landrover cannot source the part till end of feb . Im left with no vehicle cant get to my business and as a duty of care they wont even let me have courtesy vehicle. When l boke down 2 weeks ago my local dealer couldnt recover me till next day even though l was on a busy road and im being penalised for another garage recovering my car . No one at landrover is bothered as my life is totally disrupted. Thats what you get for being a loyal 8 year customer . HELP SOMEONE PLEASE

Range Rovers suck. I should've listened to my friends when they said they have problems. I bought a 2009 HSE and it has so many issues. Customer service at land rover is non-existent. Ive had the car for 8 months, and have been trying to sell it for 2. WHY didn't I just get a BMW X5?
