The fastest way to clear up problems with Net10 is to contact them thru their support page on Facebook. When I tried contacting Net10 thru customer support on the website the response time is very slow sometimes 2 or 3 days. However contacting support through Net10's Facebook page the repsonse is very fast and they can usually solve most problems quickly.

I was very worried about changing my old net10 phone to a new net10 phone, however, I'm one of the lucky ones. I had to call the 1-877-836-2368 number, and the wait was very long. But, I got through. The first lady I spoke with was able to take my minutes and days off my old phone. She said my service would be activated in 2 hours to 2 days. That worried me. I didn't have service on the new phone the next day, so I just called back, waited about 20 minutes for some help, and thankfully, I was able to talk to a man that really knew what to do! He had my phone working, with all my minutes transferred, all my days transferred, and my old phone number moved to the new phone. He was GREAT!!! My advice, say a prayer before you call (for a knowledgeable person) and keep trying until you get the help you need.

Today i purchased a new Net10 LG 320 phone
to replace my Old Motorola W408g phone
that i was having problems with every time i started talking i would lose bars from 5 down too 1 and then i could not hear anyone.

Anyways i took the new phone out of the box
powered it up got my old phone and called
Net10, 25 minutes later nice lady answered
I told her that i wanted to transfer my
number and my minutes to my new phone

She ask me for my EMI for both phones
ask me to enter some numbers on my old phone to transfer my minutes.

Gave me a bonus of 60 days and 1000 minutes
asked me to have a nice day.

I hung up...and 10 minutes later my new phone was activated and all my minutes were on screen....

No problems at all phone works great and the service could not have been better.

I've had net ten as my service provider for over four years with about three different phones. So far, i,ve never had a problem with activation, adding mins, or transfering mins. They have proven reasonable and competitive and i'll more than likely continue with Net Ten.

All service companies are pretty much the same. I have learned over the years to relax and expect to spend a lengthy period of time on the phone, usually, with more than one representative. And yes, I've been disconnected many times; suddendly, I hear a loud dial tone in My ear. Simply, call back, repeat entire process, and calmly explain to the next rep. what just happened and this time Your results will be much better. And those times when You feel You get a difficult or not knowledgeable rep. simply tell them a reason why You have to hang up now. Because if You continue quibbling back & forth you'll only become upset, more frustrated/angrier; no good can come out of it. However, if the Rep is pleasant, but for whatever reason, is not able to solve Your problem, then politely, ask to speak with a Supervisor. I usually, refer to them by name and say, "It has nothing to do with You, but I think I would feel more comfortable speaking with Your Supervisor." And then DON'T negatively fault the Rep to the Supervisor. Just say, s/he (by name) was very nice but My problem is... All this infomation basically applies to all companies. I mean, if someone doesn't know something (Yes, I know, that they should, but if they don't) why become angry with them? Either, move on, or politely say that you don't mind holding while they research the answer or something to that effect. I've had a tremendous success rate with Reps from all companies by following these as well as some very simplistic rules of behavioral communication. It's not Rocket Science! As far as Net10 is concerned? Recently, I wasn't able to discern the numbers on one refill card as the scratch-off smeared very badly. Yes, it was somewhat of a big deal for the Rep. to handle (like this event had never happened to anyone else) and what did the numbers (that I couldn't read at all) APPEAR to be? And I calmly, went along with the game, until she tormented Me to her satisfaction, and was then ready to transfer Me to a Tech who resolved the issue so quickly, that it snapped Me out of My half-napping-state that the other person had put Me in. Been with Net10 since Feb.2010 and other than an issue or two at the very beginning, which were, of course, drawn out longer than necessary, everything is Oky doky. So, remember to always relax, You can think Much More clearly, and expect the very worst scenerio, which sometimes, You will get from any company. And in the greater scheme of things - as long as You have a pulse and are still breathing - it could be worse, right?

I have been a Net10 Customer for over 2 years. I first purchased phone for My Daugther and decided to drop Cricket and purchased a phone for Myself. My biggest complaint is the same complaint I have with almost all Companies these days is NO AMERICAN REPRESENTATIVES, my other complaint is you lose ALOT of minutes when you use your phone to go online.

I have found that Net10 is one of the best prepaid phone companies out there.

There has only been one time that I had to use customer support, they friendly and able to resolve the problem within a few minutes.

For call quality and coverage, this service is hard to beat. Forget about roaming charges there aren't any.

Adding minutes through the Net10 website could not be any easier and the minutes / days get added to the phone with seconds of completing the airtime purchase.

I'll continue to use Net10 until something better comes along.

I've had two Net10 phones and never had a problem with the service. The call quality is very good. When need to add minutes, I do so by the website using a credit card. The additional minutes / days always show up in less than a couple of minutes. No problems...I like my Net10 phone!

I find net10 to be pretty great. The signal strength is very strong, especially for the low price of 50 per month for unlimited everything. The internet service is so-so, not bad, but again great for the price. The customer service I've heard is atrocious but I haven't had to call so my experience has been quite happy.

If anything, net10's moderate plans, and moderate costs is what drew me there. Two year ago, when my kids first got their mobile freedom, tracfone's very small plans were all I needed to have the kids 'online'. Two years later however, I'm alright with them having a little more minute per month. Net10's smallest plan, is way more minute per buck than what tracfone had to offer, and very importantly, their phones include phones with music players, something that was sorely lacking in tracfone's handset choice.

I had some activation problems with my phone when i first picked it up but I always prefer to email so i have everything in writing. Anyway...i eamiled net10's customer support email address and they got back to me with my issue resolved within a day. I would say if anyone is having problems with the phone service to try that.

I agree with the wait time and customer service issues. But lets be honest. With how much you can save every month it's hard not to trudge through it. Plus you get some of the best services out there for a fraction of the cost. It's frustrating at first, but in the end it's unbelievable and totally worth it. I suggest staying with it and seeing it through. How many times do you really deal with these problems?

Today I have my new Net10 phone activated and got excellent technical support from the representaive "Emilio", who was so patient and knowledgeable to guide me through all the steps to get my phone working. I have read all the bad reviews about Net10 Customer Services. But I have to praise Emilio's excellent assistance for me. I hope other new customers will be as lucky as I am.

I've had a net10 phone for almost two years. I've never had any problem with it. However, I don't pay by credit card or online, and only buy the 200 or 300 minute cards. They always keep my remaining minutes and add two months--I don't really have to add again for well over a year. My calls are never dropped. Only issue is I can't block phone numbers, but I bought the second cheapest phone, so maybe that's why.

My suggestion to those who have similar complaints is to find a lawyer to file a class action suit.

I moved and my phone didn't have good service, so I called their customer service and they sent me a new, free SIM card and gave me a new phone number so that I'd have a local number.

My total wait time on hold was less than a minute. They all sound like they might be in India (everyone I've ever talked to at Net10), but I haven't had any trouble understanding them, and they understand me fine.

I moved to western NC and let my phone deactivate because I had a cell phone from work. After several months, we decided to start using the net10 phone again, and they sent us a new SIM card.

The card was flaky and would drop calls pretty frequently (even when it had four or five bars of service). I called net10, and they sent me a new SIM card that got much better service out here in the mountains (they said it was a Verizon card), and I haven't experienced the frequent dropped calls that I had before.

The first call to them to report the problem was over 40 minutes, but the second call once I got the new SIM card in was only 10 minutes. No holding time. Overall I am satisfied.
