Hi. I deactived listing,because I tought that I was fully booked,than again activated,when I realize that potential guests cancelled. When I activated again,I realize that Im on all sites(holliday letting and etc) but only Im invisible on Tripadvisor which is the best. Why?

Ellen Graham First of all this the first and last time I will ever use your so called service hell I have done everything even the /help line and still cant get a human! My question is I have for June I paid the down payment and today I got my bank statement and the remaining 289.00 has been already taken out! Is the right almost 4 months before we go. Do I get a e-mail with a number or saying it is paid in full. We travel often AND THIS way of doing business doesnt make sense. Let me know your opinion if anybody really gets these e-mails since you don't have humans answering your frinking phones My next call for answers if you dont have any will be the better business and then my bank

WARNING! Don't EVER, EVER, EVER book a reservation through Trip Advisor! If you do, be prepared to be offered rooms that are not available, have your reservation totally screwed up and pay a 20% fee for these "services". First of all, in no place do they inform you that you are being charged a 20% premium when you book through them. And then they KEEP sending you emails offering rooms that are not available or that your inquiry has expired when, in fact, one has already booked the room.
Book directly with the establishment. Trip Advisor does not communicate with the places they advertise so they are selling something they do not own and cannot deliver. After they cheat you, they will not refund the 20% they ripped you off for under any circumstances nor will they admit culpability. The customer service agent refuses to pass the customer up the chain to a superior after they refuse to take any action on your complaint.
They refuse to take any kind of responsibility for the fact that they do not keep up with availability of rooms from the hotels they book for

I no longer wish to have an account with you. It is an impossibly slow and unproductive process and half of my reviews will not process, even after repeated tries. There us no way to cancel my account online.

wanted to renew account and add a friend's rental. Had questions; No e-mail response, no way to contact so trip advisor lost two - perhaps more - accounts.
Now lapsed due to neglect of communication.

I use trip advisor all the time and find it very helpful. However this morning I'm very frustrated. I signed in to trip advisor with no problem. When I sign in to flip key using my trip advisor account log in, it doesn't recognize me.......not even my email . No place on either sites contact us has a place for me to contact you, just a list of questions that don't pertain to my problem. When people hit the contact us button, they want to contact you, not to get a list a mile long that they have to wade through. I know it's easier for you, but not for your customers. Most websites give a phone number and an "email us"option. I feel like you have REALLY let me down on this one. I was looking for my upcoming rental. Luckily I still could find the information in my emails.

like others here, I was called today, while away from home WORKING by a hotel I reviewed, WHY DID THEY HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER????????? please let me know trip advisor I make honest reviews but WILL stop now if I get harassed and I will report this to the Australian Police, we have strict laws here about this stuff

As a buisness owner I must say this place has MUCH needed customer service training! All I need is my place of buisness removed for this faxing list! I have asked EVERYDAY for 2 weeks! This morning (10/17/16) I called and the first guy hung up on me! I call again and he hung up on me again! I call a thirds time and he answers with an attitude demanding my fax number, at this point I'm DONE dealing with these people so I went to ask for a supervisor or manager but he hung up on me again!!! The fourth time I called the man didn't even get my full fax number before hanging up on me!! These faxes are EXTREEMLY annoying and I am DEMANDING a call back from someone high up with professional customer service. I am running a business and I WILL report your company to the BBB of my issue is not fixed PROMPTLY.

responses that" says tripadvisor never notified me so I could respond in a timely matter".

I booked a room in Tallahassee and they sent me a confirmation with a smoking room that I did not request. I could not CHANGE IT because THERE WERE NO MORE NON SMOKING ROOMS and its was CHEAPER TO GO WITH AARP. no one from trip advisor was available. This is a bad site to book a hotel. DO NOT BOOK ON THIS WEBSITE TRIPADVISOR IS THE WORST!!!!

I want to add some comment what was happened to me and my family.we checked in to kandy kevins lake viwe hotel in 23th sep at 18.20 and we checke out 24th 17.20.that hotel room charges is 30$ per night.but untill 23.30hrs we was disturb ed by music noise.and when we back to come thay charged full one night and half day.(restaurant chargers). Full amount is11660/sri lankan rupees.this my second time to same hotel.but first time thay didn't threat us like this.

My advise is just think twice be for book this hotell.

I bought 2 nights accommodation through Trip Advisor for Seazone Hotel Nivaveli sri Lanka. I paid by Visa in full. 2 hours layer i was advised by the actual Hotel they had no vacancies. I then emailed (the email from booking company) requesting a full refund. He advised i had cancelled and no refund available. I have sent repeated emails to both the booking company (my Visa statement says reservation Sydney) and the Hotel. The Hotel has also emailed the booking agency and asked to refund me, as i am threatening both an extremely bad review. I demand someone from Trip Advisor talk to me. This booking company has stolen money from me. How dare a company take my money for accommodation on your website when the accommidation was not available in the first place. I have had to pay my Visa bill as i would get interest charges penalties.

I m the owner of Liz Private Tours Local Guide in Argentina.
I joined them in 2006 aprox . All my reviews are genunine and I only do tours to visitors from abroad of Argentina.
Last 3 months I suffered an attack of bad reviews posted from Argentina.
The 1st time I thought it was a confusion. Trip Advisor deleted it.
The 2nd time I thought it was an attack but it was a feak review as I never had any contact with that visitor from argentina at all!
Trip Advisor deleted that.
Yesterday I had a 3rd comment bad from a local person again and this person never did a tour with me or contact to me. And trip advisor didnt delete that.
So I can suffer attacks from competitors or someone crazy and all my work with genuine review and all my effort is getting down from a fraud.
How to correct this! How trip advisor moderator said: this is ok when this person has no mail from me or contact or tour? What else can I do if I dispute, I answered and I called. I depend on a moderator who doesnt understand the importance from a personal service and the only one that maintain my expenses!
How can I resolve this attack ? where to call avoiding customer service wich are only employees?

Good luck trying to reach a human being if you're an Owner listing with TripAdvisor. No contact information on the website - only the Traveler's webview. So I had to google it and then the fun began. 61:08 total time on the telephone - two minutes of that actually conversing with someone in Manilla. All I wanted to know is what their Fees are.

When you do call there is no option to press "0" to reach a telephone representative. Instead, you have to listen to all the options and when they don't mention one that applies to you, you have to listen to them all again and pick one that is the closest. Then, guess what, they transfer you to someone else and you get to wait again.

Looking at my phone screen I see I've been at this for 33:09 minutes and counting.....still on hold.

(I'm not going to finish this review until I know how long I was on the phone so I can tell you.)

"We apologize for the delay in answering your call, please continue to hold and one of our representatives will be with you as soon as possible" in a voice that sounds like Julian Assange. 41:30 and still on hold. Monday morning 9:15 AM - looks like no one showed up for work.

Just found this on a TripAdvisor "support forum" which I will paste here:

Well there is no CONTACT US link on a Owner's website, only a Traveler's web view.

61:04 total time on the phone. All I wanted to know is what the &%$#@&% fees are!!!
