Used the number above, was on hold for about 10 minutes -- did get through to a live person who walked me through exactly what I needed to do to contest the unauthorized charges against my gift card balance. We'll see how iTunes responds to my email.

This phone number worked for me. I had fraudulent charges from itunes store (4 transactions in a 2 day period). After hitting ### a couple of times and finally choosing iPhone as the equipment I had, a very nice rep got on the phone. Called the fraud department while I waited on the line, and the call resulted in my receiving credits for the charges and a new login to itunes. It was weird that I could not talk to the fraud dept directly, but in the end, I got resolution. Took about 45 minutes on the phone.

I do not know what all the complaints are. I got an invoice from iTunes last night that had 13 purchases that I did not make. The first thing I did was change my password. Secondly, I called the number listed above and said "iTunes". I was then transferred to a guy in the iPod division that does work with the Itunes guys. After giving him all the information, he placed me on hold while he contacted the iTunes people.

iTunes people DO NOT speak directly to the consumer.

After going back and forth with the iPod guy and he with the iTunes guy, I was able to get a refund for the fraudulent charges.

All it takes is a little patience with a behemoth like Apple to get things done.

All the complaints on this board are either completely wrong or the people writing them are too stupid to work an Apple product which is sad.

I have had multiple problems when Itunes loses a purchase of mine and every time I go to Itunes.com and hit the support button, file a ticket and get a response with the item requed for download. these other people are trying to tarnish the reputation of this company, or are too stupid to follow directions.
