Everyone was great but there is one lady that works the desk that is fantastic, I heard a rumor that she is being let go and I wanted to let you know your stupid to let her go. Do you even care she is great at her job, it is almost Christmas and she has KIDS!!!!!!!!!!! Please rethink you decision

My colleage was supposed to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Sandford, NC this weekend. I sent him packages to the hotel, but his event was canceled. I called the hotel and the two ladies working on 9/25/12 in the afternoon went above and beyond helpful and assisted me in retreiveing those packages. They were sweet, kind and considerate and should be role models to those who struggle with Customer Service abilities. Thank you ladies at the Holiday Inn Express in Sanford, NC.

Holiday Inn Express, Nuneaton.
My family, a friend and I have just spent three fantastic nights at this branch of Holiday Inn Express...in fact, we stayed an extra night as we felt so welcome and refreshed.
All the staff were fantastic but two people stood out. The first was a lovely Scottish lady who was in charge of the breakfasts...she welcomed us and helped with the six children we had in tow...nothing was too much trouble. The next person as an absolute star! His name is Graham (apologies for not knowing his surmname) and he made our trip really special...in fact, the children bought him and the Scottish lady a box of chocolates to say thank you. Extra towels and pillows appeared via Graham, without being asked for, advice on where to go, how to get there, as well as information on the best deals around was volunteered. His warm smile and ability to know what was needed before we asked for it was uncanny. I highly reccommed this hotel and will be staying there again on our next trip to the Midlands. Thank you everyone!

We want to pay a huge compliment to the staff of the Holiday Inn Express on Gay Street, Baltimore, MD where we stayed from Friday 8/17/-8/19/2012. Letitia, Ro, James and Erica were all extremely helpful to us during our stay over the Sabbath when we do not use electricity. People were respectful of our needs, quick to help in any way possible and sincerely seemed to enjoy our improptue Saturday lunch held in the lobby with friends from the synagogue who had come to admire our hotel accomodations. The staff of this Holiday Inn Express had better understanding of our special needs than we have had at far more expensive 4 and 5 star hotels in the past!

The creative renovation of the old bank is a wonderful example of repurposing historic buildings instead of demolishing them! The lobby furnishings should be a bit more elegant and "weighty" to compliment the grandeur of the fine Corinthian columns, gilt carvings and soaring ceilings. But our fully accessible room, equipped with one king AND one double bed was spacious, sophisticated and delightfully clean and comfortable.

I was delighted to see that the breakfast foods were carefully temperature controlled serving hot foods hot and cold foods cold...a must for quality control!(I am in the food service business myself) and my husband got a huge kick out of using the automatic pancake maker at breakfast!!! And on Sunday mornings it is a rare treat to walk right across the street to enjoy the delicious hustle and bustle of Baltimore's Open Air Farmer's and Prepared Foods Market. And with a fridge and microwave in every room, you can actually buy food at the market and enjoy a home-cooked meal in your room or the lobby.

The free shuttle service to downtown and Inner Harbor East is extremely convenient, and will serve as yet another selling point as we spread the word about this downtown Baltimore best-kept secret hotel!

On July 27th we traveled to Jacksonville, FL for the funeral of a beloved aunt the next day. We stayed on the outskirts of town at the Chaffee Rd. exit Holiday Inn Express. We never sleep well in hotels--beds are horrible and inconsiderate parents letting children run wild all hours of the night! What a wonderful surprise we had! Not only did the desk clerk give us a lower rate because my husband was ex-military, but the room was great! Most comfortable bed we have ever had in a Holiday Inn. Thank you for a great stay! I hope all Holiday Inns are changing their beds to this type, they are more like those people have at home. Also the desk clerk told us that they now allow pets in rooms on one floor for those who travel with their pets. This is wonderful news!!!

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Greenwood Sc, at 110 Birchtree Drive was 5 star! The hotel was spotless, the rooms were amazing and the service was excellent! The desk clerk was very friendly and their breakfast was truly tasty and satisfying and started our day out wonderfully. This hotel deserves rave reviews! I believe the folks who run it should be rewarded for their high standards!

Contrary to most posts here we had a happy experience at Holiday In in Pearl, Mississippi, near Braves minor leage baseball park and Bass Pro Shop was excellent! Left nice Nikon camera in night stand. House keeper turned it in. Awesome! She could have said, "I left the door propped open while cleaning and went to get something from supplies. Someone must have come in while I was gone for a moment and taken it since I didn't find it." But that is not what happened. We have our camera back and got a nice cash reward to the honest house keeper who did this nice deed for us. A stellar employee with high standards in today's world. Thank you Holiday Inn house keeping Pearl, Mississippi!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Slidell,LA. We arrived on Friday, May 4 at approximately 11:00 p.m. The check in was a smooth one as the young lady at the front desk customer service skills were impeccable.

My husband and I settled in and went to bed. During the middle of the night I woke up at 3:00 a.m., to a roach crawling on my face. I swatted it and my husband killed it on the sheets. Needless to say, I was up for the remainder of the morning. Housekeeping knocked on the door at approximately 9:45 a.m. My husband was not up as of yet and I asked that they come back. She returned about 30 minutes later, at that time we were in the process of getting prepared to leave for the day. My husband informed her (the housekeeper)that the sheets needed to be changed because of the remains of the dead roach were prevalent. She acknowledge that she would and left. Housekeeping came around again 10 minutes later. I told her that we were leaving in 10 minutes. We departed at exactly 11:55 a.m. Housekeeping was two doors down cleaning the room I spoke to her (the housekeeper) and said good morning. She responded with a pleasant good morning and I told her to have a great day. She replied that we do the same.

We returned to the room at 9:05 p.m. Our room had not been cleaned and a note was left under the door. The note reads as follows:
“Dear guest Rm 213,
If you would like service provided to your room please inform front desk upon your departure

Thanks,
Housekeeping”

If the young lady ( the housekeeper) intentions were not to clean the room, she could have said something when I spoke to her, as we left the room, she said nothing, but slid the note under the door after we left.

My husband went to the front desk to speak with a manager but there wasn’t one on duty. Ms. Sara Vu called for housekeeping to clean the room, we waited 45 minutes and Michelle (Executive of Housekeeping)eventually arrived with sheets to change the bed. My husband was then sleep, so I told her not to worry about it because it was obvious that the staff was not concerned about my husband and I. I laid a towel down where the roach was killed and made my husband sleep on that side of the bed.

I was informed by Ms. Vu that housekeeping only checks a few times and after the third attempt, that they proceed to the next room. At no time did housekeeping inform me of this and there is nothing posted anywhere in the lobby, or room stating this.

If this is the case, I would think that there would be an exception to the rule with me experiencing a roach crawling on me, being killed in the bed sheets.

I emailed the general manage my isues and concerns and have not yet heard back from her and it has been three days. My husband and I travel alot and from this point on Holiday Inn will never be a choice of hotels.

I have just finished a one week stay at the Holiday Inn in Muskegon MI. Wow! These guys know how to treat people. I arrived at 3 am after a long day from hell travel adventure. It was horrible! I get to the hotel and a lovely gal named Renee greets me. She made me feel safe, warm and right at home. I was completely taken care of all week. The entire staff was great, but Renee was outstanding. The restaurant manager, Scott, also a delight! Would totally stay again and again! The rest of you bad hotels... YOU COULD LEARN FROM THESE GUYS. First class joint!

My husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Hawthorne, CA. I was patiently waiting for my deposit to show back up in my account..it didnt so I called..They deducted $250 from my account claiming they smelled smoke in the room...the problem with that is neither me or my husband DO NOT SMOKE!!! After speaking to mgmt I am really pissed b/c she basically told me what they smelled and reminded me of the contract..I could care less because the moral of this story is WE DO NOT SMOKE!!!!

I was leaving for 5 months in Holiday inn Resort Naples, Italy, Castelvolturno. All hotel employees haven't been paid for the last 4 or even 5 months, only room cleaner have been paid. How come your institution doesn't help these employees?
Please advise before I send this kinf of message around a lot of newspaper, thank you.

We came in from Winnipeg to shop with our grand daughter and spent 2 nights at your 13th ave S motel. It was very clean, the people were all friendly and the food was great.

We would recommend this place to our friends.
Thanks for a nice stay.

To the GM of Holiday Inn Eastgate... Sir, please share this with your team.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Eastgate in Cincinnati. Everyone from The maintenance man, front desk, room service and housekeeper were friendly and proffesional... but there there is one person who went above and beyond to accommodate me, and that was Ms. Katherine.
When I got home from our trip I realized I could not find my prescription glasses. I called the hotel and Left a messege explaining my situation on Ms. Katherine's voicemail.
Ms. Katherine was polite and diligent in the matter and even though i found my glasses, her efforts to accommodate me with an initial and follow up call were sincerely appreciated.
Thank you and Stay Real my friends.

My husband and I are just completing our stay at the Holiday Inn located in Alexandria, VA. The service has been outstanding. For example, while waiting for the availability of a room (our flight came in early) Cordelia Bryan, hotel evening manager, addressed the need to find a room immediately. She also helped us find and booked us a tour of Washington DC long with an evening cruise to Georgetown. She extended this hospitality by finding us transportation to the Alexandria port area in which the cruise was leaving.

The service we received from Cordelia Bryan and the other professionals has made our stay very enjoyable.

We would also like to thank the Holiday Inn for the free wifi service and the laundry facilities. Please continue these additional services. We both need internet service and it is a joy not to pay an additional fee to receive this necessity.

Thank you again and we will surely spread the news about the service we received at this Holiday Inn in Alexandria Va.

To Whom It may concern,

I recently stayed at The Holiday Inn in Washington DC. It is located at the corner of !5th and Rhode Island. It was a most pleasurable stay. The food served thier eas good. The rooms were cleaned beautifully.
The reason why i am taking this time tomake a comment is because thier are three people that i definetely want to commend. Please know that the Manager Sam thier is so efficent, kind and handles every situation with confidence and pleasant. Also want to say Thank you for hiring Sherri. So kind and helpful. And also Gideon. Always helping and approaching everyone with a smile. I was thier with a friend of mine Leslie Broome a time that was our first time in Washington DC. Our stay was only going to be from July 1st leaving on the 3rd. We ended up staying until the 5th of July. What a great time we enjoyed watching the fireworks on the roof.
I will be sure to tell everyone to stay at this location.

Thank You So Much for a wonderful stay,But most of all Please Thank Them !

My wife visiting from London UK and staying 19th to 22nd
April 2011 at the Dallas Fort Worth complex found the services excellent in every way and enjoyed her visit
immensely. For myself unable to make the trip was extremely pleased with the help received via email from
ms Robin Rankin manager of customer relations. I had requested of her to put a selection of flowers in my wifes room prior to arrival from Phoenix.
This was done and my other half was over the moon, so much so she brought them back to England. Thank you Holiday Inn FW in particular Robin Rankin.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Holiday Inn in Danbury CT. Each and every staff member I encountered treated me with courtesy and respect and even took the time to have a conversation with me. I also observed how the staff spoke to and treated one another - with courtesy and respect. I was VERY impressed. It was by far the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. I have stayed at other hotels costing twice as much but was never treated as well.

I have been a patron of the Holiday Inn Express in Neptune NJ and I must say that it has been both a love/hate bitter/sweet experience. I love the exceptional customer service of two of the employees who (each time my family and I have been a quest)have 'bent over backwards' to accomodate us-namely: TROY and ASIA. Unfortunately, their has been some unpleasant interactions between one of the managers (SHAUN) at the Neptune location and our family-she has been extremely rude, unprofessional, curt and quite disrespectful. She has raised her voice and 'hung up' the phone on me while I was trying to explain an issue which I wanted to have addressed. I was shocked and appalled when I was informed that SHAUN represented the company (Holiday Inn Express) in the capacity of "general manager". She has caused what would have been a pleasant experience into a nightmare (which, by the way, was paid for by our hard earned money). The place itself (aesthetically)is beautiful; two of the front desk staff are exceptional (Asia and Troy). Actually if it were not for SHAUN, the Holiday Inn Express Neptune would be the ideal place for accomodations in the Neptune area (outside of the Marriott). It is unforunate that one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.

I wrote the complaint about the barking dogs. I was pleasantly surprised this morning when an employee told me that the dog owners were politely informed to place the dogs in a kennel if the owners wished to stay at this hotel. Good resolution, and I will now change my rating!
