I opened an account in your Aliso Viejo Branch, California......I was "urged" to transfer my funds by Randi who called herself a banker....That was 10 days ago-I was promised that Chase would do a wire transfer from Bank of the West and also that my social security check would be transferred in a week. To do NO money has been transferred from Bank of the West and and there is NO record of the request. In addition
I am now told by Chase that my social security check could take up to 4 months or more.......Who is watching this MISMANAGEMENT and MISINFORMATION?....Am I writing this complaint for naught or will somebody call me back?

I called Chase with a fraud prevention issue; I was put on hold for close to an hour without anyone coming to the phone. This is by far the worst customer service I ever received, and I have been a large account holder with them for the past 7 years. I will be cancelling my account and taking my business elsewhere.

NEVER MAKE AN EARLY MORTGAGE PAYMENT to Chase. If my auto pay sends my payment in at the end of the month such as 4/30 instead of 5/1 they apply the early payment to the Principal. Then they call you telling you that they will ruin your credit and that you now owe a $50.00 late fee. After the Rep looked it up she said that she had several calls that day that were from the same thing - early payments!!! This did not happen to me once but on several occasions. I will NEVER do business with CHASE bank again.

The integrity is important for your employee at
work for JP Morgan's reputation. Your financial advisor shall not only just take the number of client (money) in not also take care your cliens' needs . My friend had bad experience with his financial advisor, May Miao. She doesn't seem capable to work professionally. She acted nice to my friend so thar he let her managing his account. But She did not do anything on his investment even though she said she would do when my friend requested to relocate his existing investment differently.
And he asked her to invest a large amount of cash to one os JPMorgan Fund. The cash still sit his saving account for couple months so far. And He asked her to invest his money, she told him that he doesn't know anything but just let her handle it.

I paid $470 non-refundable retainer to re-finance my home. After MONTHS of screwed up dealings, after I gave up and went somewhere else, they came back "denied" my request, based a "home equity loan" status, IE, they will NOT re-finance your home for anything but the original amount. Something they SHOULD have told me before taking my money!!! I am warning everyone against this borderline shady mis-representation.

JP Morgan illegally gave my personal and business banking records to my ex husband's ex wife. This is against Federal and State law. Investigation result: "not our problem" "we did everything according to policy." Their "policy" regarding court processes are against the Financial Right to Privacy Act, Economic Espionage Act, and multiple Colorado State Laws. Next stop... lawsuit.

Very frustrated! The communications with Bank seem to be
1) By phone, but only speak to staff with no clue and get passed on from one to the other without the next person being properly briefed about the matter. In the past week, I spent 3 hours total speaking to some 10 pepeole without the matter moving any closer to resolution;
2) By fax, any important documents have to be faxed but with no receipts or acknoledgement whatsoever being sent back. I am told that it takes 5 business days to physically retrieve the fax and another at least 10 days to deal with the matter.

Since 2010, I've not used my Chase credit card, nor the other one, and have been paying off the balance -a few grand. I've chopped up the new cards when they come, and saved the half with the expiration date.

Since being with Chase, I've been inundated with junk mail, which I don't open and have become desensitized to -though I do save ALL my mail from them.

Late last year -2012- I got a message on my answer machine about how my Chase I.D. protection would be cancelled soon without my approving an extension or something. Well, as I never had ordered it in the first place, I began looking into it.

Now, my bad, I simply hadn't carefully looked over my bills for some time; I didn't have much reason to, as I'd not been using the card for quite some time. When I looked over my old bills, I discovered they'd been charging me $7.99 a month for this "service/product" since 2010... in other words, for 2 years!

I NEVER signed up for it, nor would I ever do so; first of all, I have no interest; second of all, if I did, I wouldn't order it (or ANY other service) from the bank. Been there, done that... I've tried "free, can cancel at any time" services before, and had headaches from them, so I wouldn't repeat the mistake.

... So I contacted them, quite angry, and asked for their fraud department, regarding unauthorized charges on my card. They gave me some double-talk about how it was a 3rd party, and I'd need to talk with them about "cancelling" it. I then clarified that "cancelling" assumes it was ordered in the 1st place, and that wasn't applicable; they disregarded my request for their fraud department, and -3 times in a row- sent me to their "3rd party" (who OF COURSE is actually them, Chase), and I had to call back and go through it again (and again). (And of course, the "3rd party" IS them, Chase... otherwise, how else would they have had my info... I never gave it to anyone other than Chase, nor would I EVER do so.)

After the 3rd time, I told the next person I spoke with that the call was being recorded (it was), and that if they refused to send me to their fraud department to report the unauthorized charges, I would stop paying them the rest of my balance -then over 2 grand. And guess what... THEN they sent me to the fraud department.

The gal I spoke with was nice enough; I explained the whole affair in detail, emphasizing that I did not nor ever would sign up for such a thing, and that there was NO POSSIBILITY that they'd find any record of my agreeing to it. I told her -I essentially demanded- that they either furnish proof or retract the charges and interest -and provide me a written copy of the whole affair. I also reiterated that their failure to do so would null and void our agreement, and they'd never see a cent more from me -and that the same would hold true if they ever put another unauthorized charge on my account.

After a week or two, they sent a letter acknowledging their error, and corrected SOME (but not all) of the charges -for PART of 2011 and 2012).

But then, a month or so later, they re-charged for SOME of the charges. They NEVER provided evidence of an agreement to the arrangement (which was expected, since it didn't exist).

After speaking with 2 of the lawyers in my family, I was told that I should pay off the legitimate charges to protect myself, but that, as long as I had proof of the false charges Chase made, I didn't need to concern myself with them.

So I paid off the account using a check from my other credit card -NOT INCLUDING the false charges.

I called Chase and gave them a one-time additional notice (which I recorded) that the account was paid off, and they'd not be getting additional money for their false charges, reminding them that they'd never provided me evidence of authorization on my part.

Since then, they "closed" my account, but continue to send me bills with additional fees each month, and a higher interest rate. I ignore but save them.

I've determined that they actually owe me for over a year of these unauthorized charges, and additionally, they owe me for the interest on my account resulting from them failing to apply the money they were charging me to my balance.

I know the real world, and I'm simply not going to waste time trying to get the money back... at the moment... but I'm quite certain they're in violation of U.S. bank laws, because they've been notified of numerous errors, and failed to correct them, and I have extensive written and recorded evidence to verify this, so I may well be able to sue them in the future.

DON'T USE THIS BANK, THEY ARE ABSOLUTE FRAUDS! Was this error some kind of glitch, or deliberate fraud? Given my experience, I have to assume it's the latter...

Just spoke with a customer care rep named Marion reguarding charge disuptes. He was extremely rude and was making me feel as though I was the fraud. I have banked with Chase for 5 years and have always righted my wrongs. I have referred my friends to Chase. It will take all I have not to let that call ruin my day. How dare he. Because he felt personally that the charges where not that much he decieded he would only dispute one because "after al I did use the service"? I'm sorry I didnt ask his personal opinion. I do not appreciate sarcasim and demeaning comments anytime, let alone from a "customer care" rep at a bank! I will be closing my account when this is all over.

I have been dealing with Chase since 2007 trying to get approved for a modification. Its 2013 & still no modification only thing I hear is more information is needed for the underwriting. In the mean time I have no clue when Chase is going to take my house.Chase can not be trusted & I wounldnt recommend there business to any one.

They absolutely refuse to even attempt to satisfy the customer in any way what so ever. They refuse to fix their own errors and refuse to accept accountability for the lack of concern about their own jobs. They will screw up simple mathematics and have an excuse every time at my expense! I have always made payments early and when I overpay for my principle they will intentionally apply it to escrow and send it back the following year. You really need an attorney to deal with these ignorant people!

Don't ever go to this bank. I tried to cash a $75 check there because it is drafted from Chase. Since I don't have an account with them they wanted to charge me $6 just to cash it. Six dollars isn't a lot of money to me, but it's the principle of the matter. That just shows the company's lack of scruples and care for common courtesy. Don't bank here.

I think they should reorganize to a decentralized management system so the branch system works properly.

I signed up to have my paychecks deposited on the Chase Paycard. I was assured that it could be used online and that I could pay bills with it. I was even told that my tax return could be deposited on it as well. At first everything was going smoothly and I was able to make online transactions. My tax return and my paychecks have continued to be deposited on the card without issue. Then suddenly I was not able to make any online transactions at all and my rent payment was denied. I called customer service which the site states that they are 24 hours but really there isn't anyone there that can do anything but answer the phone. At first they were blaming it on me, then the retailer but they stopped doing that when I proved that the problem was on their end, now they just kept telling me to call back. So I did and then they repeatedly tell me that they have "escalated the situation" and that I will hear from them in 24 to 48 hours. Meanwhile, I still cannot make any online transactions. It has now been four days and they have not bothered to contact me. Furthermore, when I call they are still telling me that the situation has been escalated and to call back again.

JP Morgan chase held $67,537.32 my money for an one week and a day. This was a rollover of my 401K from JHancock to Fidelity Investments. I call Fidelity over 12 times and JPM Chase was not able to even trace the funds even with the wire ref#, The money was in lala land, although I am sure they had it invested. I call the JP Morgan Chase myself and customer service could not help me because I was not the customer (on that word my family will take their money out of chase not much but about $7M here and there can add up and my campaign will not stop), truly I am and very upset. I call FINRA and the SEC and was instructed to file complain.

Beware the overnight-mail-super-important-looking-refinance come-on. Long story short--we received the super important looking come-on in October of 2012. We called and were told that we would close by 12/3/12 and would save $400 a month! Fabulous! It's February 2013 and nothing--NOTHING--has happened. We submitted everything we needed to, but we haven't saved a dime to date. When we ask Chase, they tell us a closer will be calling us any minute...any minute now...

The people in the branch are not bankers. They have to call the "back office" to get you any info on your account and half the time they don't understand what is going on. Terrible

Been trying to get a modification from these people since March 2011 !!! Keep being told they need additional information and that the modification is in underwriting. Since then, they have foreclosed on my home !! We even have a lawyer involved and STILL NO MODIFICATION ! These people don't care about their customers one little bit ! I would NEVER recommend Chase to anyone !!

I dealt with JP Morgan Chase to refinance my home for over 4 months. My credit score came back from all 3 reporting agencies at 780+ and Chase has had my mortgage for the last 3 years. Today they called me to tell me someone had left the company and failed to renew some application process and the deal is off. They said "it would cost them too much money to pay penalties". What a bunch of LOSERS! Their Mortgage Dept is a total joke. At least they agreed to refund my $395 application fee (although I haven't seen it yet). Don't use these folks! Go somewhere else.

I have paid over 14000.00 on the principal on my house since january 2012 and EVERY MONTH they messed it up and they just charged me a late fee on my house payment, which I to straighten out in a conference call, and it's all auto pay. Damn, They want me to payoff the mortgage and I can't wait to get rid of them. If you want to get a loan, checking account, or invest with them you are a fool!!! I do not damn them as a company nor am I in anyway advising anyone against tham, the choice is yours, this is just my personnal experience.
