So it was closed due to fraud. Fast forward Dec 7 I open an liquid debit card and had to wait for the account to open cause they had to override the previous

It seems Chase will find any excuse to steal your own money from you in the form of fees and policies should you ask for it back. With a very healthy balance on deposit, my local branch expected me to pay $6 to cash a $100 check. Have they gone completely mad? The only solution is to close my accounts.E

I have been trying to move some of my investments over to JP Morgan since January 2012. They were quick to move the easy transfers but here I am almost 1 year later and they still have not moved 3 of my holdings. They blame it on "alternatives investments". I can't believe it takes almost one year to figure this out. DO NOT USE JP MORGAN FOR INVESTMENT SERVICES. Where do you turn to complain about this?

I just got off the phone with a customer service supervisor and the supervisor of the fraud department and they welcome fraud the larger the fraud the better as chase gets to gain the interest and it is up to the card holder to fight the person who frauded you. I have never heard of this before and was shocked. So if you have a chase credit or debit card do not use it when going to the grocery store, restaurant etc.. as you give the waitress your card to check out means you gave your credit for her to use how she would like by giving her the card means you gave her permission to go shopping or what ever she wants to do.. Never heard this before but I guess that is one way of getting monies jp morgan chase.

I have a sizeable account with JP Morgan. They are unresponsive, give misinformation, do not call back, etc. Go somewhere else (preferably a Credit Union) for your banking needs.

It has been 5 months of Chase filling out forms wrong, letting documents expire, etc. The newest form has added $3,000 to closing costs!

Dear Sir: Since I change my e-mail address, I have been unable to open my on- line account with Chase. The problem is that when you request, for security reason, I successfully give my User I.D. and my Password, the next step to get the Identification Code, I can´t get it and basically, because you may be sending that code to my old e-mail. Therefore, I would like to change my old e-mail to my present one: m.

Can you do that?

I feel very uncomfortable not being able to have access to my deposits and balance.

Thanks,

Edgardo Rothkegel Ortúzar

We have been customers of Chase Mortgage and have been very happy with the customer service....until now. Several months ago, they contacted us to refinance our mortgage at several points difference. Made sense to us so we filed all the necessary paperwork. Weeks have gone by, they finally said all they needed was one more document, the survey, which we faxed to them immediately. Now again, we've heard nothing. It's getting irritating, it is not in their better interest to refinance, so there is no rush. We are going elsewhere.

For the past 4 months I have been trying to refinance through Chase. I have faxed all the required documents they ask for. They were paid $395.00 for an Origination fee and was told I would close by the end of August. It is now October and I have been leaving messages with no return calls. Finally I received a call from Chase who told me I was denied because I do not have enough assets. It took them 4 months to tell me this and why have them been telling me I am approved and suddenly deny me. This company is a joke. Stay away from Chase. They are not looking to help anyone.

A mortgage broker called on us, offering lower interest rate and free from mortgage within 15 years. We reached at her office and then signed a bunch of papers at a attorney's office. Now we find that the it was all fraud and that attorney was her boy friend. We cannot find any one of them now. When reviewing our statement from the bank, we find that we owe 12000 dollars more then what we borrowed from the bank even though we pay in extra every time we can. Now i have tried on numerous occasions to rectify this issue with the bank and have gotten no where. spent days and numerious hours on end on the phone from one bank employee to the next. Some one please help. Thanks

Worst customer service, inaccurate and predatory charges for mortgage lending and most important they are in control and they don’t care about you.

I have a mortgage with Chase and have tried UNSUCCESSFULLY for three years to work with Chase for a loan modification or refinance.
Customer Service is a laugh. No one is willing to even talk with you, much less provide any assistance.

JPMChase does not return calls, emails, or even certified letter requests. I am a very reasonable person but have moved my business elsewhere. They approached me about refinancing my existing Chase home loan (my credit score is above 800) and then did not return calls, gave me a fax number, in writing, that did not work, and then tried to change the mortgage rate upward after all material was submitted. The Sr. VP, Lisa Foradori, and her underlings do about a million mortgages a year. They don't say how many they don't do. I guess when they repackage them and sell them off they make their money and don't care anyway. I just refinanced with another lender with no issues and am saying good good riddance to Chase. Like they even care. Jamie Dimond looks good, speaks well, and probably is smart, but they could do a whole lot better.

Chase’s slogan: “The right relationship is everything”: How would you like your financial institution to work against you when an employee is stealing from you?

Being a female small business owner supporting five employees, the right relationship is everything; the internal relationships with your employees and the relationship with your financial institutions. These relationships can nurture the growth of your business and make you feel as if you have an entire support system in your corner; a support team in place to help elevate you to success and to support you through the trying times of entrepreneurship. I assume this is what JP Morgan Chase wanted us, as a consumer, to feel when they chose this as one of their heartfelt slogans. Now I know their marketing and operations are unrelated.
I had been a Chase account member since 2007, and our “relationship” was satisfactory until it was brought to my attention that unauthorized charges were happening on my account. Upon this knowledge I closed my account in August of 2011 only to learn that Chase then allowed an employee of mine to fraudulently obtain a card on my closed account and run up charges.
As if the discovery of interoffice betrayal was not enough, Chase is making things even more difficult. I have found that Chase has misrepresented themselves in their fight to “stop fraud in its tracks”. There was no “Fraud Monitoring” which is their sophisticated tool to detect abnormal charges. In my case, they were clearly personal charges (Legoland, retail shopping, and child care). They also took money without authorization from my operations account to cover these fraudulent charges and have yet to provide proof of their right to do so. I am still dealing with their “Zero Liability” promise, but its more than a little hard when they’ve taken your money and ignore the written requests they asked for.
For example, when the employee who was fraudulently charging rerouted the bills to her email address, Chase didn’t call me. When Chase saw line after line and page after page of charges inconsistent with a business account they never once called me or wrote to me (over $46,000.00). Then the game came out “oh we closed your “card” when you asked but not your “account”. My request was to close the account and they have audio tape (“this call may be recorded”) which they have said they’d provide a copy of on July 11, 2012, but as of August 30, 2012 no recordings have been received.
In my opinion Chase is only interested in having the “right relationship” with your money as in, they have it and you don’t. Based on my experience, I would recommend any business owner who has any reasonable expectation of their financial institution working with them; steer clear of JP Morgan Chase.

The Chase Bank at 1730 Harlem ave. in North Riverside,IL is ridiculous we have a business acct there and had some questions about our money getting deposited properly and the gentleman that I had spoke with set up a appt. for me to come back and he would help review it with me he set it for the following Wed. at 11:30 and I did not get in until almost 1:30 if it was not so urgent believe me I would of left I had no choice so he finally called me over and he took my paper work and started to review it and then asked for another paper I didn't have so I told him I would drop it off ASAP.and I did just a couple hours later he was already gone but he assured me the first time he would have an answer for me in a day or two so I waited 1 day 2 days 3 days 4 days 5th day I went back in to see the progress he was having only to find he was on vacation which he had never called me to tell me that maybe someone else could help, so a young lady asked if she could help me and I said I hoped so because the first gentleman clearly didn't care so she took my name and said she would have another gentleman call me and he never did either this really upsets me I didn't think I would get this treatment from a bank and especially from JP Morgan Chase I'm looking to close my acct. with them and to find another bank that appreciates my business because Chase clearly does not !!!!!!

my daughter and i spoke with 2 seperate chase representatives about unlocking the account in order for me to transfer money fro my savings account to her sefcu accont at school in albany n.y
My daughter who is at school answered a variety of questions as well as her account number name address and ss # and answered everything correctly. They then in turn asked her to verify the date we switched her account from being a custodial account to her own account since she turned 18. she told them that she could not tell them that because all the paper work is with me in my home which i would be able to verify because i have it in front of me. Then they asked her the last thing that she had spent or taken out of the account and my daughter told them that she only makes deposits and has not taken anything out of the account. To no avail nothing was good enough . i rec'd no help. all i wanted to do was put the money in her account. I gave the last 2 transactions and the dates that i had completed them as well again and that was not good enough. We even gave the account the quickpay transfer was to go in and that was not good enough. The account for the transfer was locked and no one would help me. I have a good mind to take all of our business away from chase including our business accounts. I spoke with a gabrielle caseillejk he was the most unhelpful non caring person i ever spoke with. The only other thing we could have done to verify anything was to be there in person.what else can we give!!!!!

This was are 5th and final attempt.

EXPIDITE PLEASE!!!

Dear Ladies/Gentlemen,
I am writing to you regarding my loan with your company. I am aware the loan is being referred to a Collection Agency for an arrearage of approximately $1,870. This is the 5TH Time I am writing to your office to attempt to get this loan corrected. I did not receive a response from your office to my previous correspondence. The only correspondence I received was documentation to complete for a Loan Modification which I did not request. I can afford my monthly payment and have paid it timely each month since my post-petition payments began.

I am disputing that I am responsible to pay any arrearage.

I filed for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy protection in Mar. 2006. I had missed three payments at that time. The payment plan for my Bankruptcy was for full repayment of all debt. Your offices prepared a claim for the amount of $4,101.74 for the arrearage which was submitted to and accepted by the Court. The Trustee paid the full amount of the claim and I made each post-petition payment timely. However, when the final payment from the Trustee was applied and the Bankruptcy complete, the account showed it is now FIVE months delinquent. I ordered a record of my account from Jan. 2006 to present. It shows I have made each of my post-petition payments timely. It also shows the Trustee made payments totaling the full amount of the claim submitted to the court.

I would like an audit and analysis of my account completed to determine if the amount of the claim was sufficient to repay the full amount of the arrearage. I would also like you to determine if the payments from the Trustee were applied correctly (the payments on my first mortgage were applied incorrectly and I had them corrected previously).

My position is that if the amount of the claim for the arrearage was sufficient to pay the full amount of the arrearage, when the final payment from the Trustee was applied, I should have been current, rather than farther behind than I started. I am not liable to pay that amount if your office submitted an inaccurate claim amount. I would like you to:
• Remove any charges for arrearage that were not included in the claim amount.
• Adjust my account to be current as I believe it should be
• Report to the three major credit reporting agencies that I have been making my payments as I should have been since Jan., 2010.

I have been trying since February, 2010 to get my two accounts corrected. I ask you to please expedite this request since my account is now being referred to a Collection Agency for an arrearage I do not believe I owe and can not readily afford to pay that full amount. It is also negatively affecting my credit report and has impaired my ability to refinance the loan or sell the home for which I did have an offer in order to build a new home but could not secure financing because of the problems on my accounts created, I believe, by your offices.

I have received NO correspondence regarding this loan from your offices since the bankruptcy was complete in Jan., 2010, neither a monthly statement nor a demand for payment. I only found out about the arrearage and the subsequent plan to transfer my account to a Collection Agency through my repeated calls to your company to try to resolve this matter.

If this is not completely resolved within the next 30 days and my credit report updated to show I have been making my payments as required, I will be forced to retain an attorney to get this matter resolved. I have no wish to do so but this has continued for too long with no assistance in resolution from your offices.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions during the day at .

Please provide me with a written response from your office regarding your findings and the resolution of my account.

Thank you,

as of 9/1/2012 we have not got a satement or anything from them we have moved to are new house and the other is sitting vacant. they are the worst mortage company i have ever seen Chase and JPmorgan, EMC. I will never use again.

On August 30, 2012 at approximately 3:40 pm, I encounterd an african american young lady who came to my place of employment on the West Side of Detroit. Based on her behavior, she must have forgotten she was representing your bank - her place of employ- by wearing her JP Morgan Chase blue uniform shirt (logo on upper left). However, after reviewing YOUR customer service reviews her behavior may not come as a shock to you and your bank, but it certainly did to me. This young lady (cannot reveal her name) came into a government facility for me to service her. She was rude, menacing harassing and threatening. After making numerous apologies, laced with please and thank yous while servicing her, she demanded to speak with my boss. I sought to stay clear of her comments, but this young lady was looking for a fight, and I wasn't going to give her one. I worked diligently at servicing her so she could be on her way, but that wasn't good enough. She demanded my name and when I abliged, she yelled."I wasn't talking to you"! She repeatedly insisted on my last name and was told twice, last names were not given. It wasn't just me, but onlookers shaking their heads, who perhaps had never been in your bank catching a glimpse of her behavior. This young lady did not realize that she was not "Ms Jane Doe", but "Ms JP Morgan Chase Bank" Thursday afternoon. One onlooker said, "I use to work at Chase Bank and they are rude and nasty" "They didn't even like us as employees". I have been employed for over 35 years servicing customers. In the last 12 years I have attained a 99.9% EXCELLENT customer service rating, possibly the highest rating in the region. The fact that this young lady threatened to harm my rating is most upsetting and apaulling. I have had my share of upset and disgrutled customers, but none who serviced customers and wore their company uniform, additionally there were not many that couldn't be satified or appeased. I consider myself knowledgeable in customer service. FACT: IF A PERSON HAS A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE HE/SHE SHARES THE EXPERIENCE WITH 2% OF THE PEOPLE THEY KNOW. IF A PERSON HAS A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE THE TELL EVERYONE THEY KNOW!!! AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!!! This young lady was a bully, mean, surly and terribly unprofessional - and even though her feet were not on "JP Morgan Chase Bank's floor, she still represented the bank by wearing your name- so much so, I would never trust my finances to Chase Bank and plan to speak to my daughter who has an account with Chase to close it!!!! No one should encounter this type of behavior. She showed all who caught her performance how rude and nasty chase bank could be. I really hope this is not the standard for hiring.

I recently had a State Farm insurance claim for a burglary at a home I own. JP Mortgage is the mortgage holder but they DO NOT pay the home owners insurance. I pay this yearly on my own. However, due to JP Mortgage being listed as a Day One(???) type mortgage lender State Farm advised me JP Mortgage's name has to be on my claim reimbursement check. So after 6 weeks waiting on the claim check from State Farm, JP Morgan now has additional forms I have to fill out for them prior to their signing the check AND they will hold 50% of the check until they decide it's time for reimbursement. JP Morgan gets to make interest of MY insurance check paid for by ME while I have to pay upfront my contractors to get work done by a robbery. To make it more confusing the JP Morgan Loss Draft Rep Patricia Williamson said JP Morgans name did NOT have to be on the check while State Farm told me it's the law that they did. Another honest American get screwed by a mortgage banker. Can somebody just say "What can I do to help?" in America , PLEASE!!!! p.s.the JP Morgan rep hung up on me while explaining the process I have to go thru on www.mylossdraft.com pin CH001 to actually get my insurance claim check signed. sign me, another American screwed over by Mortgage lenders, Mrs.Bonni L. Dear Chase,
I have never heard of managers and district managers acting in such a way that they can have a negative impact on just about anyone. I would stand outside that branch and tell everyone who does and wants to bring business there to go elsewhere! It is the most poorly ran bank I have ever seen. If you are in the Holiday area of Florida, DO NOT go there. I really hope something is done about the management there soon, or I will have to take my accounts somewhere else, even though my banker is amazing!

I am RE Agent and I represent a buyer who is getting their loan thru Chase, Felipe Zamorano. Chase representative promised to close this deal in two (2) weeks and it has been near 30 days and the loan docs have not been ordered yet. I do not recommend anyone using this above rep to do any loans and especially Chase. This is horrible.

Dear Chase,
I am a Real Estate Broker in the Port Huron Mi. area. I have been selling and listing properties since 1988. I have never ever had so many problems with a lender than I have encountered with your mortage dept. I am satified with the loan officer. In fact I feel badly that she has to deal with such an inferior structure when the application leaves her hands. You have great programs that are a blessing to the comsumer. You are a huge curse to me as an agent and to the seller waiting to close for 2-3 months.

Re: Entity Company: CHASE INVESTMENT SERVICES CORP.

I wish to inform banking citizens of the cheating practices of Chase Bank and in particular, Chase investment Service Corporation. Two years ago I spoke with a Chase Bank Investment Officer and advised him I wanted a savings account which would pay more than the regular passbook saving accounts. This investment officer told me he could get me an account which would pay me 5% per year. He then proceeded to steer me into an retirement investment annuity with Prudential Insurance Company. Please note - I am already retired. I need to save my money. Not have some thieving Investment Officer at a bank take it from me.

The investment officer proceeded to steer me into an annuity account and had me sign contracts for this account. Little was I aware of at the time that the account was not a savings account at all ; it was an annuity based upon earnings from the stock market and it had a 7 seven year contract. I also noticed that it is some kind of retirement account that will only pay me less than $600.00 per year. Chase Bank has cheated me completely. I stand to loss a substantial amount of money on this. The investment officer was not truthful in this transaction. All he wanted was to get my money. I am already retired. I wanted a savings account and the investment officer completely steered me into a long term account that will take 20 years to collect back my $10,000.

Now I may have to spend more money to hire an attorney to fight with Chase Bank for the return of my $10,000 investment.

The investment officer did not explain this "savings account" to me nor did he tell me about the "free look" provision.

I had gone to China for 6 months and upon my return to the United States I noticed my "account" had not gained any money but was in fact losing money. I waited for the year to pass to see if I would gain the 5% promised to me. By the end of the year I had actually lost several hundred dollars from my $10,000.00 investment.

I filed a complaint with Chase Bank which was forwarded to the Compliance Officer of Chase investment Services Corp. He wrote to me and informed me since I signed the initial contracts and I had not opted out of the contracts with the "free look" provision that he was under the impression that Chase Bank and the investment officer had followed all procedures properly.

I informed the Compliance Officer that I was out of the country during the time the "free look" provision was sent to me and he informed me it made no difference, he was standing by the fact that I signed the original documents.

I feel the original annuity opened up to me by investment officer was fraudulent in nature as to what I informed him that I wanted in the beginning. Had the officer explained to me in full the terms of this investment I would have never entered into it. Had it been explained to me that this "account" was based upon earnings from the stock market, I certainly would not have entered into it. And if I would have been offered the opportunity to opt out of the contract with the "free look" provision, I would have. The investment officer knew I was leaving the country and would be gone for several months because we had discussed this while I was in his office. He never informed me of a "free look" provision - and now Chase Bank will not stand behind it anyway. I never received the "free look" provision nor did I have the opportunity to examine it and opt out of the original contract.

For these reasons I have initiated complaints against Chase Bank and Chase Investment Services Corporation.

I am a retired individual and can ill afford to lose $10,000.00 for a seven year period with the potential of losing part or all of my investment during this seven years.

I feel this matter should be investigated and the investment officer's business practices be investigated as well.
