RIP OFF. DOUBLE CHARGING and their "customer service" operators are completely ignorant about what they offer and what their charges are. I inquired about what channels were represented by the packages that were on my bill. Turns out that the same channels in the "starter" are in the "standard" package. So we are ALL being charged twice for a number of channels because you cant hsve any pscksge without the Starter packsge. Not only that, but the $8.75 tax for "Broadcast and sports" is allegedly a city tax. I don't have a "broadcast" package and I don't watch the supposed sports channels. I am investigating going antenna Roku and other forms of access. Time Warner's honesty about their offerings is dubious in all languages.

Absolutely horrible customer service! I am so unhappy with how they mess up rates and promos and don't make good on it. Can't get a supervisor to take the calls and have been disconnected during my call about 6 times now.

I am so tired of your abysmal cable, internet and phone service. You never add any new channels or improve your service despite constantly raising everyone's rates. Now I know why so many people are getting rid of your cable service. There are a lot of outages, picture and sound quality is poor, the Internet is quute slow and wifi goes down intermittently. I do not recommend their services.

Time Warner Cable-your service is not good at all. I have your home phone, internet and cable. I have had it for two months and have had problems since day one. I had Directv before and never had this many outages and network problems. Your service is so unreliable and unstable. Your cable and internet are so outdated. My internet speeds are so slow that I have trouble streaming movies or on demand shows. My Roku doesn't work right because of the internet either. Im always getting buffering messages. I am supposed to get 30 MB download but only get 12 to 14 MB. That's unacceptable. The picture quality on Time Warner is poor compared to Directv. The 720p HD channels look like cheap analog channels. They are not clear or sharp. The cable goes out a lot to. Heavy rain makes the cable go out too. Whatever you do, avoid Time Warner and their garbage service if you live in Anderson Township.

The worker was insensitive to our time. our scheduled time was 3pm-4pm, he called at 11:21am to ask if he could come at the time he called, we agreed, we had a funeral and if he would have showed up when he said, we would not have been late, my husband is a pastor, when I called him he stated he had to stop and get lunch, he could have gave us a courtesy call to let us know it would be another hour and a half. This service is unacceptable and workers of such should replaced his # is 7363. Maybe he should work in the TWC cafeteria. Date this happened 3-26-2016

We bundled our phone and internet service with TWC cable recently. We never had problems with either our phone (AT&T) or internet (Verizon). The bundled service was cheaper.

The TW technician installed our new router at one end of our apartment. When he left we immediately discovered that we had no internet service even in the next room. Why did he not install the router in the middle, where it was previously? We called and made another appointment. The second technician installed a second router instead of an extender. So, our mobile devices lost internet connection, or worked intermittently, because they are evidently getting confused between the two routers. So, after at least an hour on the phone and discussion with three individuals, an appointment was made for another technician to come today between 4 and 5 PM to install an extender. At 3:30 PM an automated phone message informed us that he was on his way. At 4:55 PM we called to find out why he had not shown up. We were told that we had cancelled!!! Then the same person told us that he had arrived and nobody was home. Not true: we were home all day. (Which was it-not home or we cancelled?)

Now we are trying to make another appointment.

Also, our son cannot call us on his land-line. He gets a message that our number is not in service. He CAN call us with his cell phone. I am going to look into cancelling this horrendous service! Folks, stay away from TW.

I am tired of all the cable and internet issues I am having with Time Warner Cable. I am located on Eastdale Dr. In the Brittney Acres neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio 45255. My Internet is always slower than what I'm paying for. I'm always getting buffering messages and streaming Netflix is a nightmare. They claim their internet is fast but I can tell you it isn't. The wifi will just drop from time to time as well. Their cable service is poor to. Their digital adapter boxes don't carry the same channels as the HD boxes. The cable goes out a lot even if the weather isn't bad. Many of the HD channels pixelate often. The HD picture is not sharp or clear as it should be. Motion scenes are not clear at all especially on the 720p channels. They won't fix these issues either. Whatever you do, find a different cable and internet provider. They keep raising their prices to for poor service.

I am so tired of Time Warner's poor subpar service. I have their internet and cable and am really sick of all the outages, poor service, and slow internet. You guys provide cable service from the 1980's and never upgrade anything. What really upsets me is how your digital set top boxes (the small black Cisco boxes) don't have the same channels as the HD DVR set top boxes. Are you that cheap that you can't carry the same channels I am paying for on my set top box? That's ridiculous. It shouldn't matter since you are paying for those channels anyway. On top of that, you keep raising your prices and not providing anything in return.

The growth of the Internet over the last decade has been an astonishing phenomenon growing beyond millions users worldwide, except in Myrtle Beach. Accordingly, the use of a doctrine of fair use is non-existent and lacks in communities, Plantation Lakes, The Farm, , where no case law to substantiate the agreements made between developers and internet service providers exists. So the question is, why are exclusive communities lacking signage and options for internet, cable, and telephone service providers? Why no discount exist in exclusive TWC or HTC communities?

In the 2011 City of Myrtle Beach Comprehensive Plan (City of Myrtle Beach; South Carolina) obviously favors TWC, beginning page 98, discussing the ;more than 14 million customers who subscribe to one or more of its services; where HTC, Inc., is discussed in two paragraphs with less than four sentences each.

TWC boasts about the &;The Right Choice for You and Your Residents on their community solutions website, http://www.twcmdu.com/ , offering a variety of services like - Bulk Service (one low monthly rate) and discounted rate & eligibility \ however does not extend that to the customer within these forced communities.

Plantation Lakes has over an estimated 1,000 plus homes where the average monthly cost for cable is $64.00, equaling $64,000.00 a month and over $ 768,000.00 per year for an exclusive community. Our family currently monthly TWC bill, which includes a security system, is $308.10 per month 3; even if I were to use half of this cost towards the average household expense for Plantation Lakes ; these figures annually would be: $1,848,600.00 for this exclusive community.

Choices in an internet service providers beyond TWC within Plantation Lakes, and likely other exclusive communities would be a savings of nearly $10.00 ($57.44) dollars a month for basic service with HTC. Though this is focused specifically on TWC exclusive communities, I understand that HTC also has signed agreements with developers for HTC exclusive communities though offering a lower rate to the thousands of customers in these communities ; where TWC does not.

TIME FOR CHANGE or at least for comprehensive plans to allow for fair practice and trade within Myrtle Beach -

Today was the last straw for me with Time Warner Cable. Your service is beyond pathetic. My bill jumped $39 for no reason and I never changed any of my services. So I call customer service and am told my promotion is over. So I negotiate (which is ridiculous and I'm tired of having to do that every year and play your little game) to bring the cost down and you clowns refuse to drop my price unless I downgraded everything to basic cable and internet. You refused to work with me. Well guess what, you lost another customer for life and I'm spreading the word. I wasn't happy with your service anyway here in Cincinnati, Ohio, specifically Anderson Township. My internet and cable were going out a lot, channels kept freezing up and pixelating, your HD channels were not clear or sharp like advertised, prices kept going up, my internet was really slow and always buffered, etc. I do not recommend them at all.

Awful. Technician was a total no-show for appointment today. TW claims I never had an appointment and that my net is working...they say it must be an issue with my laptop. Ive had no connection on any device for five days. Supervisor hung up on me. No apology for not even showing up to fix internet. Refusing to refund me for days with no service and claim that they will come in five days for another appointment. Thats ten days of no service that Im paying for. All reps speak very poor english. Not the first time Ive had issues either!

I am paying $100 per month for TWC internet service, yet I was not permitted to view a sporting event online from a TWC site. I contacted Customer Svc and spoke with three different people who informed me if I did not have cable tv with them I was out of luck. After letting them know I was ready to change providers they were still not able to help. Totally disgusted with TWC - I used to defend them among critics, but I now realize I was wrong. I will be leaving their services behind permanently and will advise everybody I know to do the same.

I went into the store here in Columbus, OH and was instructed on how to set up my own router and modem to avoid the installation fee that TWC charges. Unfortunately, I was misdirected and after a 2 hour phone call, I thought I would be good to go again. Nope, not the case. I finally caved and requested someone come out to help me install. I received notice that my tech guy would arrive between 6 and 7 yesterday evening. And again: Not the case. At 7:30, I received an automated message informing me my appointment had been rescheduled for today between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. I did not receive a CALL, an apology, or even the option to verify that the day and time would work. I run a restaurant; I cannot simply drop everything to be home for TWC. But I managed to and sure enough, it is going on 5 o'clock and I haven't seen or heard from a single d*mn person - oh, other than another automated message at 2:30 informing me my tech guy was on the way. Congrats, TWC! This is the first complaint I have filed in my lifetime regarding sh*tty service. Thank you for wasting my time.

I am so tired of Time Warner Cable's antics of raising my bill and cable rates every few months. My bill has never been the same since I got my service. It just keeps going up but yet you never add any new channels and I haven't changed my service. So what is the justification for the increases? You are greedy since you keep raising my rates. Your service isn't even that good. My internet and cable go down quite often and you never give credit for the times its off. The picture quality on the HD channels is poor to. You can see the pixels in every channel. Pretty bad for paying $140 a month. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Took off work today for Time Warner installation between 10-11 am. No one showed for installation!! Called customer service and they said it was changed to Monday. Could not get a straight answer on why it was changed. I asked for the name of the person who scheduled the appointment for today and they said it does not show in the records (bullsh_t) I stated, at what point does Time Warner pick up the phone and contact the customer to let them know the installation was changed.

Time Warner Cable's service here in Anderson Township, Ohio has gone downhill big time in recent months. The zip code here is 45255 along Woodruff Road near Eastdale Drive. My cable and internet have gone out four times just in the past two months. You keep raising my bill and providing that kind of poor service. Pathetic. I need reliable internet service since I run a business out of my home and my kids need their laptops for doing homework and research. My internet speeds are normally slower than what I'm supposed to get-30 MB download. I only get 4 MB upload speeds. My cable has been disappointing as well. I have friends who have Directv and Cincinnati Bell and their picture quality is so much clearer, sharper, and richer. Your HD channels are disappointing and look quite pixelated. The 720p channels look really bad. I hope you guys fix the picture quality or upgrade your services soon or I will be shopping around for another provider.

Since I've been a customer since 1984, I have been charged double twice 10/15 & 2/16 for my cable bill due to the fact they could not locate my payment and confirmed with my online bank it was paid. I called your customer service several times at least four times regarding my account and got cut off and someone told me it would be looked into by someone (no name given) and they would check my account and get back. No one has ever called me back!!!!!! Worst customer service ever!!!!!

We have had Time Warner Cable for years. We moved over a year ago and there was nothing but problems like double billing on an account we made sure it was off took over 3 months to fix, wrong box's for the tv's(we have 3) still wrong been over a year now, and to make matters better for the late couple months into this new year we now have a broken Internet/phone. Now our family has no way to do college class homework at home after a 10 shift. No phone service at all with two younger children and the flu in school and family trying to get a hold of us. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They always tell you they will fix it. It's all lies. We are still paying while this is going on. This company service is horrible.

I had the worse customer service in response to not getting On demand because of a past due amount that was barely over $100. Not a disconnection just a past due. So i was really upset and the customer service was very arrogant and snooty making me feel like an idiot for being upset.

I agree with these other reviewers. I am also fed up with Time Warner Cable and am getting rid of all of their services after 6 years. First of all, I am sick and tired of them raising my rates every month and not giving me anything new or extra in return. They never add any new channels either. I call about my bill being wrong but they can never give me a good reason for the increases. They keep advertising that they are making good changes there. Well thats not the case since their cable and internet service keeps getting worse and there have been more outages here in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their internet is always really slow especially during peak hours. Ive never gotten the speeds I am supposed to. It will just drop out to. If you call about it, all you get is excuses. Their cable is problematic to. The HD channels are never sharp or clear. They don't even carry all of the local channels. Im always having problems with outages and channels pixelating to. The motion scenes are blurry. I do not recommend them at all. Directv was so much better.

Twc is the absolute worst cable company ever! The internet service is slow as a snail half the time it won't work. The wi/ Fi just as bad. TV sucks you clowns charge a pound of flesh for your garbage service, and keep raising the rates monthly. Everyone that works for this crummy company should be ashamed to be associated with twc. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever ever twc is the kind of company that does not care about customer service just fleeceing the customer!.

If you like a lot of cable and internet outages, poor customer service, bad picture quality, constantly rising cable fees, old refurbished equipment, unreliable internet, and a company who never adds new channels, then you will like Time Warner Cable. I just left them after 5 years due to their bad service. Also, they refused to work with me after they raised my rate by $30. So, I went with another company. So much for them making Time Warner a better company. Im not seeing any improvements. I do not recommend their services at all.
