have been trying for 4 months to resolve a problem with account have two different phone #'s and somehow tracfone has mingled both together and they cant seem to get it fixed does no good to talk to service rep help !!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I have called for three days trying to get her phone service back. Her phone has not been able to make calls or receive calls since Tuesday January 2, 2023. It's is now January 5 at 9:37 pm and still no service. Talked to several people and no one can help. Each time we get someone they go through their routine and they say and do the same things. They say they don't have a history of our problem which inexcusable. 3 days without calling and receiving service is not good customer service. One tech said it was because of an influx of new customers from other networks signing on. System wasn't able to take the load. That's crazy! So who can help us At tracfone? We've spent several hours on the phone and online without success. Help! If there is a problem with the networks than inform your customers of it. Waiting for 254 people in front of you is to long online. Leave a message and no one getting back is not good either. So what do we do. Go to another cell phone provider! We've been good customers for years. Thank you, frustrated customer

Absolutely terrible company. The customer service service reps (Raphael, Zandhara, etc.) kept disconnecting me after not being able to help me. I will tell everyone that I know to stay away from this company.

Lost my phone and it was impossible to activate a new phone and keep my old phone number. Didn't seem to understand I couldn't receive text messages because I didn't know where my phone was . just ridiculous how difficult it was. Switched companies after trying for an hour to activate a phone.never had that problem previously had tracfone
for 20 years but not anymore

I have had my tracfone for about year and never any problems until the last couple days. I added minutes and it confirmed that I was good for another 3 months. The next day I could not use my phone. Talked to a tech and they confirmed the same but still could not get my phone to work. Called the next day got a different agent and now they say I have no minutes and also I may need to get a different phone! I asked if there was a supervisor that could help solve this issue but they said there was none. So discouraged

I began using TracFone a few months ago. I let a customer service rep talk me into using autopay. I then noticed that they were charging me for months in advanced. I called customer service back and asked him why they were in advance and he had no answer, so I told him to stop the auto pay. This was in July and I was paid up until November 2022. Yesterday I had no service, and when I called customer service to find out why , the girl told it was because I didn't renew my service plan for September. I told about the over charge and that my account shows I'm paid up until November. She all but called me a liar. I reluctantly paid for another month and now my account says I don't have to pay again until December 2022. These people are either really stupid or really crooked! I'm done!!

Tracfone sucks, I was a customer for 14 yrs and then Verizon took over and now my phone won't work on their network. I tried to get my number transfered and they will not give me the network transfer pin. DON'T GO with them. You will be screwed.

I called Tracfone to get assistance with my current Tracfone but the agent talked me into a new phone which i purchased. i was hesitant but he said that i could return within 30 days with no problems. I found the same phone with accessories and $100.00 less at QVC so i have talked to Tracfone (2 separate calls - over 1 hours total) and was told that i have to return and pay my own shipping. I was deceived and will no longer recommend this Phone Company

The most unprofessional, uneducated company I've ever had to deal with. When contacted to get help, all calls are conveniently dropped. Not worth the time it takes to dial their no.

Was o what's on TracFone today what a sucky program so pissed off at them I was on the phone for a full f****** hour before they answered and then when they answered they couldn't f****** hear me then I had to call back they have the worst customer service I hate them call back she didn't even apologize I was so pissed they don't even have the used to be able to pay last year for $50 to get the whole year you don't get any minutes or text but I don't need anymore the customer service sucks and then it takes forever to get on the phone and then you can't even find all the plans they change the website since Verizon took over or either that they changed it themselves I don't f****** know but it sucks

I bought their $30 phone several times; after less than 1 1/2 years their Blu phone died on me, so I tried to go to Verizon. After 4 days the number still didn't port over so I was desperate and bought another Blu. That lasted three weeks, just long enough that Walmart wouldn't take it back but the sound was gone. I tried to go with Metro but it took two days to port the number over because Tracfone has portability "protection" for itself so that it is very difficult to keep your old number. I wouldn't use Tracfone again.

I contacted TracFone on my uncle's behalf. His phone was going crazy after he charged it. The voice was non stop everything you touched nothing would work. When I finally spoke to someone I explained the problem. I was told to turn the phone off. I repeatedly told the rep the phone was not turning off it just kept restarting. She kept saying just turn it off. That was strike 1. Next I was told to go to settings. Once again I told her the phone was not doing anything. She kept saying go to settings then accessibility. I told her the phone wouldn't scroll.she kept saying the only way to fix it was to go to accessibility and go to turn voice off. I told her it was not working she told me I had to try harder. I told her if I tried any harder I would break the phone Strike 2. Then she proceeded to treat me as if I've never owned a phone by telling me not all smart phones are the same . We then got on the topic of if the phone didn't work would it be replaced. My uncle has only had this phone 3 months. She said no he would have to go buy another phone. Strike 3. I just read another review that said they were waiting for a replacement so now I'm even more angry over this. She told me TracFone doesn't replace phones. So I said ok if a phone does this after 3 months the customer is out of luck??? What a racket they have going. Earlier in the conversation she told me she would have to speak to someone higher up about what to do about the problem and after feeling like I was talking to myself I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she was a supervisor and there wasn't a higher dept to talk to. Hmmmmm!!!! I find it disgusting that this company has zero regard for the customer and the nerve to tell someone they need to try harder. I have never nor will I ever own a TracFone. This was a pain from the moment he got his phone, the first nightmare was trying to get it set up. Buyer seriously beware.

I've been with Tracfone for years, but that is about to change. For 2 weeks, I've been waiting for a replacement phone, when my phone of 6 months started having issues. I had to go through several calls, about correcting settings, and a factory reset etc., before they would send me a new phone. Tracfone said it would arrive in 3-5 days. I asked if I had to return the old one, and the technician said that is my option. After 10 days I called to check on my new phone, and was told it was on back order and I would receive an e-mail when sent. I checked on-line, and received the message it would be sent in about 5 days. Afterwaiting about 2 weeks, and after about 1 1/2 hours on the phone, I was told I had to send my old phone back before a new one could be shipped. They told me they would e-mail and shipping label, which was never received! Again I called and was told the same thing. They could not explain why after 2 weeks I was suddenly told this new information. So now they're going to mail me a lable, I'll return my phone, then a new one can be shipped. So I will be without a cell phone for about 2-3 weeks. Very poor service, and training from their customeer support people.

The worst. Most frustrating calls I've ever been on. Zero help on what you'd think was a simple solution to a problem. They make the call worse by being so REPETITIVE.

Customer service just told me they can't track purchases that were made in the app. So I asked who do I contact about purchases made in the app...they have no one to contact. I have no clue how a company can't access purchases. This is a huge red flag. I am moving on to another carrier

Had a very hard time yesterday with setting up a new phone. Tracphone reps were very nice but repetitive in trying to solve the problem over a long period of time. This morning I put different sim cards in phone and off and on and then back to the tracphone sim añd phone came on working! A very frustrating experience for all. Can't truly blame anyone person for a mechanical issue on a phone but tracphone needs to be able to deal with a customer from a data base that ends the repetitiveness. I recant yesterday's review to a degree and understand the complexity of the issue. Thank you t phone.

Absolutely the worst experience in my life. Tried to set up a new service and was dumb enough to be on the phone over 10 hours going in circles with different reps going over repetitive problem solving and no solutions. Had to start over with each rep, contradictory info, lies, but all with politeness by golly. Sorry tracphone I am a forgiving person but you have lost my business after many years. Sorry does not cover what happened in this situation plus cancelled my old contract without warning when internet info said there was extensions on service. You don't do business this way

I filed a FCC complaint because they could not and would not fix their system error. I upgraded by their suggestions last summer my dumbphones to smartphones. I have three numbers/phones on this account for my family. One of the three is NOT able to purchase the $19.99 BASIC plan online like advertised and promised, which happens to be the cheapest plan. There only fix is to go to Walmart and buy a card. They can't explain why, or know how to fix it; or make any compensation other than "that is how it is purchase one of the other more expensive plans online or go to WALMART". Forcing me to buy a higher level of service I do not need. I have called weekly since April 2022 to try to get the issue resolved. Solution should be FIX the problem or compensate the customer until you can fix it.

I just spent 2hrs talking to different people that have no idea how to resolve a simple problem. They have a adjenda that is not focused on listening to the problem as common sense people and figuring out what happened. I tried to change my number to a different phone that required a new SIM card, the agent ordered the sim card gave me an order number but misunderstood the address. I called to say the card had not arrived. They required me to go through the change routine again, this person said the new phone is not orthorized co have its sim card changed. She did not understand that someone already ordered me aa new card.I asked for suppervisor, that found the order ns said it should arrive any day now, I asked to verify the shipping address and she said the one I gave her is not correct and to give her the correct number, I repeated the address and she said I needed to give her a different number since it did not match the number they sent the card to. GET MY POINT, THEY ENTERED THE WRONG NUMBER AND ITS MY FAULT. No she said that if the person recieving the package happens to reject it and they get it back, I can file for a refund, SAY WHAT. hOW WLOULD I HAVE HANDLED IT. I understand we have missed connedted, let me reorder a card for you now that I have a new address. ( She would not repeat the address I gave her, their rules do not allow that) and mail you another card, ( ITS A $! ITEM) MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. I'VE BEEN WITH TRACFONE OVER 15 YEARS

I've used tracfone for over ten years without many problems until recently. I order the UNLIMITED talk and text which is good for thirty days. The past few months they've been turning it off a few days early. When I called, they said I used up my allotted texts. I said but it's UNLIMITED, how can I have used up my allotted texts? THEY basically said too bad, there's nothing we can do! I asked them what the definition of unlimited was, noone could answer me. So sad when a company that big has to rip off the little guy. Shame on tracfone!

Very poor service. Was better before sold to Verizon. Phone technicians do not understand your technical difficulties, communicate poorly in English, and give the wrong responses. Nearly impossible to get help with what you really need, and also nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone to help you. Tracfone customer service is among the worst.
