The Wall Street Journal has the most ineffective customer service of any business on the planet. Representatives who barely speak English and read the same script over and over and accomplish nothing.

WSJ's print delivery service is an absolute joke. It's been over a month since I started subscription, and am yet to get a SINGLE copy delivered!!!
Called them up twice, and registered complaints, but it's always the same response "We are looking into it. In the mean time, please feel free to read the paper online".
Yeah, I know that much - but I'm not paying a premium to read it online! If I don't go a delivery by the end of this week, I'm cancelling my subscription and trying out some other news source.

The WSJ has not delivered 4 out of 5 of the last Saturday papers and today they missed a weekday delivery. Every time it happens I register the complaint online and make a call. Every time I am told that they are looking into the issue and will resolve it. Customer service is all talk and no action. They are definitely not worth $56/month

Since August of 2021 when a dependable delivery driver retired I have had constant problems with getting my paper. I call the WSJ help line and they read me the same old script day after day. Week after week, month after month.

How can a newspaper that puts out leading edge news year after year not be capable of handling the delivery process?

Maybe it is me? I keep calling day after day, week after week and month after month expecting a different outcome. Isn't that a sign of insanity?

I haven't recieved my WSJ for 4 days & customer service is unable to answer ?? or get; me delivery.

I have subscribed and paid for the WSJ since 2013, and now the delivery is completely unreliable. Over the past 6 months I have received the paper on time half the time, at best. I am cancelling my subscription. My suggestion to anyone thinking about subscribing to the WSJ is "Don't!" For $60 per month, this is a ripoff, and given their delivery, borderline fraud. Bye bye, WSJ.

In the last 2 weeks I have received 1 paper. I call every single morning to report the delivery issue. Every day I get the same response from customer service. They say they are going to escalate the situation by reporting it to management and that there will be an investigation as to why there is a delivery issue. I have never been given an explanation as to why there is no paper. Some days they have a courtesy driver deliver one later in the day, sometimes that doesn't happen either. I have asked to speak to a manager, there is never one available. And no one has ever called me back. Today the customer service rep actually accused my neighbor as possibly stealing the paper since I "live in an apartment ". That was the assumption. I live in a condominium with a security guard at the door. Every person in and out the building is logged in. There is no theft occurring. Ridiculous

I signed up for a $4 per month digital subscription from the Wall Street Journal on October 18, 2020. At the time they indicated that at the end of the subscription that I would be sent an email letting me know that my introductory one year offer was ending and that future billings would be at a much higher cost- ~$38 per month in my case. I called their customer service department and disputed the charge, but they said they sent me an email notice. I checked their claim and they never sent an email. My best guess is that they are attempting to scam me and others by not sending this anniversary email and that most would not notice excess billings for quite a while so that they can continue billing at the standard rate. I find this practice to be highly unethical.

Terrible customer service. Issues not fixed despite hours on the phone. Unable to reach a supervisor and none called back, etc, etc

Posted by John

I am surprised that they get a ranking as high as 605 of 990 firms. We have had at least 5 or 6 delivery issues in 2021 alone. Their customer service is always "very sorry about the issue and will take care of it". I do not want them to be sorry I want them to fix the issue. NO LUCK!!!! This time was 20 minutes on phone.

If you can't trust the news not to steal from you, is there hope for journalism. WSJ has no online way to cancel subscriptions you never consented for. It took me over 30 minutes and three phone calls to get a subscription I never ordered cancelled. I had to speak with 3 different people. Shady and unacceptable.

I have been subscribed to paper delivery for 3 weeks now. I have received a total of 7 papers - not the 18 I should have gotten. I have called four times - always get a foreigner in another country that does the same thing. Notes the file, writes a report and sends it off. I have asked to be called back - no one ever calls. This is the biggest mess I've ever seen. The concierge here in my building said that they have called three time. So - where do the reports go - apparently nowhere. Service is a -10. This is pathetic.

global extermination by 2025 - And I've sent this & messaged DOD & military base's in new mexico re: Dulce's military base as well; It's gonna be a literal, human incomprehensible global bloodbath massacre & not even the word nightmare nor Crime's against humanity can scratch the surface. Including those fool's (devil court jester's) - The 'Utah Data Center', code-named "Bumblehive". And the Multiprogram Research Facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

ALL $ bought & sold out your humanity & NON-SELF owned Soul (as solely God owns ALL), but re: Even with & like THOSE upon indian reservation (no respect for THE LAND) = New Mexico's 7 mile's down Dulce military base (& their just ONE amidst USA, despite global elsewhere), but press - on your computer keyboard key's Ctrl & 'F' & search / find keyword - type in: Level 6 & see thereof text wordage around thereof: https://www.crystalinks.com/undergroundbases.html.

Do your own research, come to your own conclusion's, but DON'T deem vast that they have been doing & are (tick tock 'time', right now) aren't even worse so: global extermination by 2025, & whom TOP Power deem that 9-1-1 was JUST a TEST, to see just how the global masses would react & respond.

Globalist's, misc aren't really doing what they plan on, their really just passing the time, evil - senselessly, & their talk of reducing 7 billion plus down to 500 million, huh, OH don't think it'll stop there, oh no, just so Satan who solely started this Holy War against God, can eventually 'spite' God with exhibited all human eventually narrowed down & killed, like Satan's timeless laughing off it's ass at us (having put on a clueless humor show for that beast) & deeming to God, "LOOK AT THEM ALL, YOUR SO-CALLED PRIDE & JOY, THEIR SUPPOSE TO REPRESENT YOU?!"

And you gonna tell me (fellow human's) THAT no bothers you? OH it will, upon Coming Judgment Day before Jesus per / via your Heaven Life Record (everyone has one, even Adam & Eve), OH . . . I 'GET' much BECAUSE I chose to SELF denyingly Holy Warrior rise up for solely Holy Trinity. You (CARE?) to read - hear more? Huh, fine, it's NOT my Holy intel & I'm no threat nor lone wolf (as lone wolf is NOT in nor of Holy Trinity). Men in Black? Crime's against humanity NO even begin to scratch the surface.

Like judge Marshall ("Time Cop") said, "The sentence is DEATH, to be carried out IMMEDIATELY!" NO waiting around for the right cocktail, & thereof WATCH & WITNESS just how fast 6' x 9', misc tier's would be cleared & emptied!

Know that it was Adam that sinned first, NOT Eve BUT old men long ago would have vast past since - to date believe otherwise, & why would anyone think? YEAH, huh, right.

Here's another one: When satan got defeated re: Jesus's testing in the desert, Satan just deemed (BECAUSE of '?', ROGUE us all as a whole FROM Holy Trinity), "Fine Satan would just go after Jesus's next best thing, HIS Little One's 'children / kids' through the adult's".

Humanity could & should have SELF denyingly chosen to Holy Warrior rise up & represent solely Holy Trinity - as to why we were created & thought up in the first with WITH all we'd ever need ie: gift's, talent's, skill's & free will, NOT EVER to exhibitedly deem (UGH) that God is somehow a maid & janitor for us?

Uh, NOT HE wouldn't even have to exhale & we'd go out quicker than a candle & think NOT fellow humanity why Jesus REALLY came, huh, there'd be WHAT? Animatedly White streak's down all adult's back in fear & terror finding out the REAL Truth, with that we were solely created to self denyingly care take of each & Earth, NOTHING off!

And the dying Earth? Try: The Natural balance is off - once like a force field shielding, like a computer firewall going down, thus, having allowed in, because of Adam first & THEN Eve, which Satan seeing Adam failing God priorly THEN did God allow Satan to try testing Eve.

And re: children / kid's, Jesus: "If any adult's keep any of these Little one's from me, they will NEVER see my Father". MUCH has been changed, suppressed, misc by whether the Vatican, fill in the blank's over centuries, even destroyed so that later humanity would NOT know of the truth or say that - to do such, simply would have been purposely not been recorded so as to deem that it just never happened & thus, later humanity would not know.

Yeah, I know much BUT it AIN'T me, it's Holy Trinity, per / via HIm 'touching' me, knowing I'd be shunned but I don't care because I will die for Jesus & have past since - to date until my eventual death, SELF denied voluntary & chosenly Holy Warrior for Jesus Holy Trinity.

Huh two thing's: THEY of whether globalist's, etc or TOP - down globally deem cluelessly that - 1) Satan started this nevertheless 70 century - to date Holy War against God, 2) Adam FIRST, NOT Eve, sinned & then Eve of course but old men long ago changing writing's would have any & all believe otherwise, & SO . . . what then? Satan wins? YEAH, NOT! THINK AGAIN!

And THEN, there's this - THEY of globalist's, etc TOP - down, globally are gonna take out ALL humanity IN, whether clueless or on purpose, accordance WITH this Holy War that Satan solely started against God 70 centuries ago, voluntary & NON-voluntary suicide / murder, just so Satan can apparently SPITE God that & with, "LOOK AT THEM ALL, THEIR ALL GONE, THEIR (were) SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN YOUR / YOU'RE PRIDE & JOY . . ."

And plus there's then the - THEIR really not doing - all that they have done & do - do for really no reason, THEIR really just doing it to pass the tick tock 'time' . . .

And worth noting, when Satan got defeated in the desert amidst Jesus's testing, Satan just deemed, "Fine, I'll just go after Jesus's next best thing, HIS Little One's (children / kid's) THROUGH the adult's.

God gave us all each - embedded within all we'd ever need to self denyingly Holy Warrior rise up & represent Holy Trinity, as we were created to solely do so & THAT of care take of each & Earth, NOTHING off, EVER! THIS PLANET, Earth! It's like One who goes after dessert before eating the main meal or like human evil weed's overtaking the garden that is all else . . . PONDER THAT!

Huh, LISTEN . . . to our fellow human Brother, just another Son of Adam & Eve, Steven Frederic Seagal's word's very carefully & TAKE IT TO HEART! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B0np_o1VBg

I cannot cancel my digital subscription to the Wall Street Journal. They completely ripped me off.

Posted by doc_bruce

Tried to use WSJ account page to report a delivery issue. Tried to locate my subscription using account #, membership #, email, and phone # -none of which worked yet when I called the automated system, my account number got me through the phalanx of BS menu options and waited on HOLD. Was on hold for 15min and 20min before giving up. For what Dow Jones charges for the monthly subscription, this complete lack of customer service and heinous user interface on the website is INEXCUSABLE!

I have not received the journal for 5 days in a row. Have called customer service and their supervisor. I'm still not getting the paper. Here is a suggestion. Have the publisher and editors have to deal with customer service. Or better yet, fire all the customer service reps and their supervisors. With the money saved you could lower the price of the paper and then we would just drive to the local store and buy it ourselves.

Customer service is an oxymoron. Delivery is a joke.

Not sure how a respected business publication that I totally enjoy reading can have such bad customer service! The WSJ is the only publication that I like to read the paper version, all other publications I read I get the digital version. I have been a subscriber since business school (many years ago) and trying to continue the service is impossible! The paper just stopped showing up last week, I checked by credit card and the payment was made, so they owe me some papers! Call customer service and they want account number yet the credit card entry has no account number, they track by address and say my subscription has been canceled for two years, not correct. The solution that customer service came up with me is to dispute the credit card charge!!! What a great way to retain business. The WSJ is a perfect example of a company being able to write about how other people run their businesses but cannot run their own.

Horrible customer experience. I cancelled my subscription in Atlanta because of delivery issues and when relocating to California restarted. 2.5 weeks after starting again still no delivery and daily calls just result in credits ...no paper. Horrible customer experience and really shouldn't outsource call center to India. WSJ should stand for better than this.

Don't know where to send this but hoping you could send it to the appropriate person at the Wall Street Journal.
My question is: why does Peggy Noonan have an N 95 mask? Wouldn't it be better used by a healthcare worker.
Thank you,
Berta Wetzel

I had subscribed to WSJ through a Mag for Miles program. The delivery has been very spotty. I have called customer service at WSJ and the Mag for Miles administrator numerous times. They resume delivery for a day or so and then stop. Thoroughly frustrating experience and not befitting a company of this repute. They give me no reason for the lack of delivery, just "will look into the matter" and promise to make up the lost issues. After the fourth or fifth time, this becomes a tired excuse.

We have been customers for decades experiencing good service until a few months ago.
I have called customer service dating back to probably November or earlier with delivery issues. Probably 8 calls or more have been made to date and I have still not received my paper. It is now Jan.10th and no paper.I have been handed over to several supervisors for help, but without results.

My husband and I have purchased the WSJ for my (now 96 yr old) Mother, in Ft Lauderdale for yrs and which operates in tandem with local Sun Sentinel, our subscription on the latter is Sunday's only. 7 wks ago the Sunday paper wasn't delivered for 2 Sundays. Then it started arriving on Monday, a day late...for 4 wks. We called to report the non-delivery to the ops point for both papers. The defense "Well it really isn't a non-delivery because the Sunday Sentinel was in fact delivered ON MONDAY!" The day following the complaint my Mother receives a note with her WSJ delivery "YOU LYING B_TCH! F__K Y_U!" spelled out of course in dramtic, black, bold leters. We have spent 5+ hours on the phone with the WSJ & Sun Sentinel to have this person pulled from her delivery. She is terrorized, fearful to go out of her condo and what does the WSJ do without our knowledge? Put her paper delivery on "suspend" til Dec with the excuse, we didn't know what else to do. Since the WSJ & Sun Sentinel do not value their brand and reputation enough to manage their supply chain and customer delivery then they will not be bothered by legal action with the State Attorneys Office Elderly Care Unit Statute:#415.104 which "protects the elderly and vulnerable in the state of Florida" for verbal assaults and bullying. The FL vacation businesses who cater to the retired and elderly (anyone over the age of 65) will be particularly un-impressed with the WSJ bringing this level of concern to their business and the state's main revenues stream. Poor optics to match the terrible service.

I have had a print subscription to Barron's and WSJ for over two years and with nonstop delivery issues. The combined number of phone calls and emails to customer service I have made is probably over 100 and Barron's comes maybe 25% of the time (an extremely liberal estimate). This is especially frustrating because I have changed my address several times and it makes absolutely no difference- customer service is a complete joke and probably has virtually no contact with delivery personnel. Great content, everything else sucks
