I used to play Diablo II and World of Warcraft, and after several completely horrible experiences with game performance and customer support, I gave up on them. My brother just recently bought me Diablo III as a gift and I recalled the bad support that I had in the past. Sure enough, I installed the game and cannot even log into it. I've submitted multiple service requests through their websites with one response that had nothing to do with my issue. I've also tried the phone number over and over and there is a recording that says their queue is full and it just hangs up on you. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The game is going straight back to the store without even having been played a single time.

World of Wacraft (WoW) has got to have the worst customer support I've ever seen. They take forever to answer your call and can't even help you with simple matters such as removing an authenticator without making you go through a whole, one hour long process. The support should be better, considering they have over 15 million users, but no. It sucks, that is all there is to it.

I purchaed 4 products from this company and I have a password issue. I was on hold for over 45 min and my email was not answered for 2 days (during the week not weekend) and still have an issue and have not spoken to anyone about get my account back. I PAY MONTHLY AND THERE IS NO SUPPORT. STAY AWAY FROM BLIZZARD PRODUCTS and battle net. The site is not secure and you will not be able to get your account back if hacked. Thanks blizzard you caused my credit card to be breached and are doing nothing to help.

Stay away from them no support!!

I like World of Warcraft it is my view that it is an enjoyable game.
However I find there are numerous problems in dealing with blizzard in my opinion.

Issue 1- Account Security
I was hacked, goodbye to 2x level 85s, three GM tickets, 7 days and 2 phone calls later they give me back one character.
Additionally I had a second account as a backup with a level 40 character, hacked also. Blizzard employees did nothing to get it back despite multiple pleas and my offer to provide whatever information was required.

Issue 2- Rude Staff
If something goes wrong its your fault I'm not kidding 3/4 the time I am reporting a problem in wow some GM who probably doesn't even play Wow tells me I never had the ability to do what I am attempting.
Reporting abusive players or cheating just gets a default automated reply.

Issue 3- Badly Organized Promos

Recruit a Friend to Wow and get a free 2 person rocket mount so I thought...
Then apparently my friend has to pay for another two months.

Personally I am waiting for a game similar to wow preferably from a differently staffed company to come out.

They are absolutely shocking, all they care about is the dollar. I have two friends who are having their children stalked by a complete psycho within the game, Blizzard are fully aware of the situation, have confirmed on the phone that they have reams of recorded evidence, but REFUSE to ban him for this. It has now been going for over 6 months, he constantly brags about being able to do what he likes because Blizzard won't touch him, and all they are willing to say is "we can't tell you what action we're taking". So after 6 months of this rubbish we take to posting about the situation on the forums to highlight that Blizzard are refusing to protect children, and whilst they won't ban him for his actions, they ban us for 3 days and remove any trace of the post. Don't let your kids anywhere near this game, they risk the same thing happening.

Blizzard/World of Warcraft support is quite simply a bunch of professional thieves.

I bought gold from a decent web seller, there are dozens of game currency sites on the web so I imagine this to be a pretty big business, and as anyone that has ever played wow knows sellers of wow currency are constantly spamming the trade channels with offers like 10k gold for € 9.99.

I wanted to buy an absurdly expensive mount and the only way I could manage to get 500k gold in one lifetime was to buy the gold, so I did and paid € 350 for it!

I received the gold in the game and waited for the mount seller to log, the guy didn't that afternoon and I logged out.

Next day I try to log and found that my account was Banned! No explanations.

I logged an "appeal" and they answered that my account was "found" to be used for Hacking activities and that I need to prove that I'm myself (my account uses an authenticator, lol), so they asked me to send them the scanning of my National ID Card over a today's newspaper showing the date!!!!

I did send the scanning and after hours they unlocked the account.

I logged and SURPRISE they took the 500k gold out of my character pocket claiming that it was gold obtained from hacked accounts!

This is absurd, abusive, and plain thievery that virtual currency cost me € 350 euros!

Well I canceled several accounts and as I've time and money I'll probably sue Blizzard. Someone must take a stand and teach those kids a lesson!

In the end the main point is don't play WoW, Diablo, Starcraft or anything they sell; you will be badly treated and probably robbed :(

I've decided to ask a GM in-game pretaining an item that could've possibly been removed. Silly me, knowing how Blizzard's CS is, I've should've expected the following:

Average Wait time: 3 days, 18 hours. My intial response was: What the hell.

Waited three days, the timer went down by two hours. Thinking it was a glitch, I reapplied my ticket. The following occured:

Average Wait time: 9 days, 23 hours.

So basically I got a big middle finger to the face. Well, looks like I'll be cancelling my suscription to this game, I could sure use that $15 per month for gasoline; not this utter BULLCRAP that they call customer service.

Blizzard aka World of Warcraft is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. They locked my account after I moved so I called. They told me the account was in my son's name and he would have to call. So he called, and they still refuse to unlock the account. It's too bad because I had really enjoyed playing. I had a level 82 (out of 85) character. I had all the upgrades which is why they expect me to start over and spend more money for the same upgrades that I had already paid for. I refuse to pay for the same thing twice. Bad service will mean no business for them!

While trying to contact a GM (WoW representative) in-game, I received only a pre-typed message in response. I needed action, not words. Furthermore, the pre-typed message actually did not pertain to my situation. I tried again, and again.

In total, 6 pre-typed messages. Finally they said a representative would be on the way to answer me, average wait time 2.5 hours. I waited 7.5 hours at my computer before logging out.



Their service is the worst of any company I have ever contacted. How is this, considering their game is a pay-per-month service?

Blizzard's GMs are inconsistent. If you get lucky, you'll get a nice one who just restores your stuff for you once they see that yes, it's missing, but most of the time these days, they're just bureaucratic about it with answers like "sorry we are unable to help you with this issue". It's bull$hit policy nonsense.

If you pry, they'll point to section B(vii) of the terms of use: "(vii) Participate in any action that, in the sole and absolute opinion of Blizzard, results or may result in an authorized user of the Game being "scammed" or defrauded out of gold, weapons, armor, or any other items that user has earned through authorized game play in the Game;"

Basically it's a blanket statement for saying "we're not going to help you because we feel like it and you were dumb enough to get suckered by someone".

The customer service this company offers is terrible! I have had better from overseas call centers. The GMs are arrogant, rude, & condescending. They speak to you as if you are simple-minded, like someone would talk to a puppy or a child. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that shows absolutely no respect to their customers, cancelled my account 2 weeks ago.

Wow support takes an average of 1 day to respond. There is not ability to have a folow up discussion while maintaining the original thread in game.

Wow forums are flaky. Its the "place" you are supposed to go to give feedback about the game. Howver, the site is often down. Bad.

WoW has terrible customer service and I will likely not be buying another Blizzard Entertainment game. The customer service is just a reflection of the poor professional standards of the company. At the recent Blizzcon event animosity between players got to such a state that Mike Morhaime, President, Blizzard Entertainment had to make a special apology on the official WoW forums on 10/27/2011. While he did apologize, it should have never been needed. Especially considering the concerns from the previous year. It shows a definite lack of serious introspection on the part of the Blizzard to allow this. However, I am not surprised because the game supports and encourages terrible behaviour. The mechanics allow for only a few players to see most content and most players to be trivialized in both PVE and PVP environments. PVP is usually 3-6 seconds of having little to no control over your character, then waiting 2 minutes as you resurrect and run back to where you were. PVE is buggy with mob's commonly evading damage resetting to full health while you can not leave combat, being feared out of the world needing a complete location reset, and severe lag throughout the game. Additionally, to better your character is a crap-shoot, it's based on a random number generator. The game mechanics breed animosity, the community gets more toxic, the customer service handles more irate players to lesser standards, the whole thing stems from the poor judgement of the few at the top. Therefore, I will not be buying another Blizzard Entertainment product and can emphatically state that WoW's customer service is terrible.

In fact the lack of serious introspection at the top is shown by the introduction of the resilience stat. It's unimaginable how they couldn't have adjusted the spirit stat to account for the PVE/PVP disparity in needs. When resilience came out, spirit was on everything, I think even my warrior had a couple pieces with it. Instead they create a new stat and remove spirit usefulness, yet strength and spirit pieces drop frequently. Now there's animosity between the two play-styles and the need for two sets of gear. I can only assume these guys are not very bright or they don't really care. I suspect a little of both.

I am getting sick and tired of the non-stop swearing, homophobic remarks, sexual comments, name calling & racist remarks by other players. The language filter or clicking ignore is not enough. There needs to be a report drop down box with different options as to the issue: ie report player for swearing. Frankly, this type of behaviour should get people kicked from the game permanently. I can't even let my kids play this game because of what is put forth in trade or bg chat. All of those issues relate to harrassment and shouldn't be tolerated period. Blizz needs to clean up chat immediately. This behaviour is no longer accepted in society but appears to be okay in WOW. How absolutely disgusting!

I have bin playing wow 6yrs now and i have never wanted to stop playing till now.i fight to get gear and then it gets nerft.so you have to do it all over again.im an older player so teaming up with some of the younger players isnt fun they they go off on people and i dont like that you cant get any of the good gear on your own.bgs has never bin this bad it takes my 3-4 hrs to win 1 friggin bg.yesterday was 2-19,today i got up to 0-4 so i now thinks its time for me to stop playing.I had 4 accounts with my kids now down to 1 soon to be none.i have realy good gear but cant stop guys in greens,who want to be carried.Every time i ask for hlp from blizz i get a sry wish we could hlp.no need now.just make it where u can get the best gear on your own if you want and not depand on guys who are brave over the int.

Jesus...account was closed to "suspicious activity." This has happened in the past. My adsl internet provider assigns me a new IP number every time I sign in. "Suspicious" to wow, account frozen. Now, I can't log in, I can't get help. The email is a no response deal. Now I have to call them. I am in China playing wow on an oceanic server, using US software. It's becoming a real pain...

I and my wife have been long time World of Warcraft players. I started playing on day one, my wife just a little over a year later. Up until the release of Cataclysm we totally enjoyed this game...this expansion pack looks great. The new scenery etcetera is mind blowing. The underwater area known as Vash'jir is stunning in detail. Unfortunately it takes more than pretty little graphics to make a game. Unlike its predecessor "Wrath of the Lich King" this game does not even come close to being as fun and enjoyable as previous expansion packs. If you are between the ages of 6 and twelve you will will love it, but if you are any sort of experienced gamer...you will be sadly disappointed. The game is also over moderated to the point of ludicrous. Up until recently we had 5 accounts betwen my wife and I due to Blizzards inept overmoderation and the lack of gameplay substance in Cataclysm we have decided that the $78.00 we pay for a six month subscription per account...is simply not worth it. Do not waste your money on this product, the adage "You get what you pay for" has never been more fitting than it is with World of Warcraft or rather "You will not even come close to getting what you will have to pay for." is actually more fitting.

World of warcrafts customer service is extremely poor, Especially when in-game,

Whilst in game contacting a Game Master (GM) can take Hours, and often it takes days for them to actually respond, by which time your most likely not to be online so you don't ever really get quality service,

When phoning up you can be in the phone queue for quite easily an hour, My longest wait was just under 3 hours, although this is a free service, its quite annoying

Finally the forums, again, it takes several hours or days to get a answer in both technical support and Customer support, and some posts are even left unanswered.

Customer service is poor. GMs do not respond to issues for several days. When they responded to an issue of mine recently, the GM had fundamentally misunderstood the nature of the complaint and provided a response wholly unconnected with the basis of the ticket. I then had two choices. To confirm I had read the ticket (to close it) or not to confirm I had read the GMs response.

Are these people for real?

If you want to get distressed, buy Blizzard games. The game is largely populated by gold farmers and scammers looking for accounts to steal. Stay away from it.

Not only is their customer service terrabad, their entire attitude stinks. They have lost the concept of the game I think and bend over backwards to dumb the game down for the whiners who think "it's to haaaaaard" and then make it difficult again when the Vanilla players complain. Absolutely no direction, and just like Microsoft, everytime there is an expansion or a patch something goes terribly wrong. Why don't they just leave things alone and instead of fudging the numbers for the different factions and races; let's try working on more interactive questing. Quests that change depending on decisions that are made. That, I fear would be asking too much. They only want to collect the money and don't really care about their game any more.

Have had a GM ticket in for two full days..no answer yet. I am a hunter who requires a pet for playing. My pets are not coming out, disappear while fighting, or get one-shotted on a first hit when they come out. Cannot do pvp this way. Two days of not being able to play what I pay for. Maybe it's time to cancel the accounts for myself and my family members.

I had a ticket in since saturday. They said they would deal with part of it in the email I got from them in game. ((which they answered when the server booted me which was for about 10 minutes that i was off and i ahve ben on since 630 pst this morning)) BUT never touched on the second issue. Which is that I have lost flight points and have put several request in for them to fix it. I'm now on the phone waiting to talk to someone from blizard. The gms that have addressed it said it would be looked into but have NOT got back to me with any information. and then today when the gm looked at the ticket and closed it without addressing it?

Also it would seem the gms deal with the tickets NOT by when the are recieved beacuase later in the day ((Saturday)) i had another issue and opened another ticket on another toon and it was completed over night. So tickets are NOT dealt with in the order they are recieved. which is bull.

I need answers to my flight point problem asap. A month of waiting without any answers or correcting the problem IS NOT RIGHT.
