I purchased my first furniture set from Ashley nearly ten years ago and had a great experience, so I used them this time, but I may be sorry. I was given a date for delivery in the store, on the date of my purchase. As that date got closer, I started checking as I had not received a call or text regarding delivery. The website shows no order for me.

I called to speak to an agent. I was first told I must come into the store to schedule delivery. I asked for and received a manager, who was not helpful at all. Neither the agent nor the manager could answer my questions about why I had not been contacted about delivery. I spoke with a third person who was going to call the warehouse for a delivery date and call me "right back". I have not heard from anyone. The website still shows I have no delivery.

I have no furniture as I made sure it was gone in time for the original date I was provided. I will now be without furniture for nearly two weeks.

This will be my last purchase with Ashley.

Horrible customer service at the location in Columbia, SC on Forum Dr. The manager of the store is the absolute worst. Talks to employees and customers rude. Even if each store is independently owned. This guy doesn't need to represent the Ashley brand. I started not to say anything however something just didn't sit right with me. He is just awful and needs to learn how to treat everyone with respect and care.

Ashley's Customer Service is extremely extremely dissapointing! We had ordered a bedroom set. When it arrived, the delivery people didnot complete setting up the bed. They said they were missing some hardware which were required to set it up even though everything that is required for setting up comes with the box. So they said they would be coming back and completing it in the evening if possible or else within the next 7-10 days. When we called after the specified time, they said it would take another 15 days and there was nothing they could do. It has been extremely inconvenient for us without the bed. Very very dissapointed with their customer service. For a reputed furnishing company, I am truly surprised at their nonchalance in dealing with the situation quickly.

Bought a decorative ladder to use as a shelf. Paid 100$ for essentially pallet wood painted white. It took a MONTH for someone to tell me how I could return the product. I talked with four different representatives. One of them emailed saying it had to be returned within 72 hours (not true). when i replied with a screenshot of the return policy he took 2 weeks to send me a message back stating to take care of the return myself and to email him a tracking number. Not sure if it's even worth it... i am not confident they'll even refund me when the ladder has been delivered... and then i'll have paid even more for shipping it back.

I canceled the other pieces I ordered before they shipped, thank gosh!

I'm beyond angry that I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars in this store to be lied to, over charged and items purchased in the clearance center were separated and sold as a custom order! If I can give an unsolicited advice do not trust them with your financing they said we didn't have enough on our synchrony but the have another finance company they work with...... it was a rent to own company that debited almost a 140.00 a week from out checking account and we didn't know the wiser! The crooked salesman added a 499.99 warranty on my purchase that we did not ask for and we've gotten nothing but to bad! If anyone knows who I can contact please let me know.

I wanted to buy a recliner chair at Dublin Oh store.
$100 delivery fee ?
I asked if I could just pick it up and was told I would have to drive to Dayton Oh one hour away.
I really don't understand Ashley must not want to sell a chair.

Employees do not have a clue about the furniture you all carry. I need to speak with a general manager
I initially stated my specifics needed for purchase such as furniture for the tall and how I needed a lift recliner
Clerk only pointed me to brown furniture and manual recliners. Manager was smug defensive and mean faced.
This is my 2nd bad experience with this store I am sorry that I ever opened a line of credit here. Yelp is next

Working with Ashley Furniture has been one of the worst experiences I've had In my entire life. Upon spending nearly $10000.00 on furniture it has been 6 months and I have yet to receive the $2000.00 in cash rewards back that I was promised. It took just over 3 months and several incorrect deliveries on a weekly basis before we finally received all of our furniture.
In addition to this MAJOR inconvenience and unnecessary stress every time I spoke with the Ashley sales manager he would continually speak of how tough this situation was on him...making the entire situation even more annoying not to mention the slew of broken promises that ensued. CustomService 101: at the VERY least empathize with the customer and then correct the mistakes that have been made, or at the very least attempt to.
Now it has been almost 6 months... one of the MOST enticing reasons as to why I purchased so many furniture pieces from Ashley was because the Sales Manager of the Prescott, Arizona store PROMISED me that I would get approximately $2000.00 back in credit card rewards, redeemable anywhere. Every time I contact the store or the Sales Manager I get the runaround. I have yet to receive any of the rewards I was promised. The sales manager rarely returns my calls or texts and when he does he blames someone else and makes yet another promise he then proves incapable of keeping.

Absolutely the worst delivery and customer service ever experienced. There is no customer service- it's outsourced to a foreign call center. Unable to get anything straight leaving customer stranded with damaged furniture and no recourse.

Run as fast as you can to another store, or you will sorely regret your purchase with Ashley.

Terrible service. Called on a Monday and the lady did not open a case number. So I sent pictures of a new recliner that would not recline to her e mail and never heard from her. Followed up with an e mail and another call. This time I receive a case number and send pictures again. Again pictures are not received. So I call again and after giving my e mail about 7 times I sent the pictures again and apparently they were finally received. Discovered these calls are routed to the Philippines. I'm all for people making money but it would be nice to speak to someone who understands English better and maybe Ashley can give a course or two on how to better deal with customers. It is increasingly difficult to be kind to your workers when they are incapable of doing a decent job. Poor job Ashley Furniture.

Ashley Furniture Temple Tx is the worst store ever! Do not buy from here ! I purchased furniture in October with a delivery date at the end of October when it no showed and I got no call, I called them and no answer after 2 days of no answer there I decided to go back by, then it's all BS after that date has changed till end of November! No reason why other than the computer picks a date! The Manager sold me the furniture and I think him and all his employees are paid to lie to their customers! He was supposed to call me the following Monday with answers then of course he never did so Tuesday I went back by there, and well the Bs keeps coming lie after lie after lie OR EXCUSES of their is no one for them to call they can't call anyone to find out why you stuff had changed! Awful customer service! By the way did I mention I paid for my furniture in full?!!!??!? They don't care they got your money! Buyer beware DONOT BUY FROM THEM or the WACO Store who they now bought out!!!!

Ashley furniture in Grapevine TX. Has to be the worst or from other Ashley reviews one of the worst customer service stores in America. There are so many reasons for my wife and I to feel this way but the #1 reason is we were sold a couch and love seat that we were told was all leather because we told the salesman thats what we wanted.There is no easy way to put it. He flat out lied to us and we spent over 4000.00 on a couch & love seat that is fake leather. I am reaching out to my family lawyer to see if there is any recourse

Not only is the customer service department useless
Makes promises they can't keep! The store is completely happy the day of purchase but once you purchase the customer service is out the window! $89.95 for white cloth delivery service which dented and scratch my new wood bed
Ripped the canvas foundation! The headboard was also missing and then had the nerve to tell me after the bed arrived to my home it was a separate purchase! What!!!!! The salesman never said or explained that! So now I have this big wood box with no headboard and they won't make good on what the salesman "SOLD" me on! Nor will they let me return the bed! The store manager Steve was incredibly Rude and disrespectful! I do not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!!!! I will be following up with the better business bureau! The blatantly rip off people around their so called terms!

I brought over 6,000. I. Furniture
And my delivery date was 10/26 now Nov 9....the main office say missing 1 piece be ause 1 piece came broke. I have guess Coming on Nov 2 so I guess they have to sit on The floor. I ordered $8000 worth of furniture the end of august. 2 weeks later I received 2 pieces. Was told only 1 thing was on back order and that would be here before thanksgiving. I just called and was told expect delivery December 23. But that could change to earlier or later. If it's in stock why do I not have it. Was told it might have to be transferred from another warehouse that's why the wait. By the time I get all my pieces the first 2 will be worn out. PLEASE PKEASE PLEASE go somewhere else for your furniture

Purchased an 8 piece sofa for $2,499 that felt great in their home store. Three weeks later, at home, the foam was so compressed, we contacted Ashley's. They were helpful and sent a bunch of replacement foam for our cushions. Low quality, non-memory foam we experienced at their store. Garbage product, poor quality, scam business. Now they and we are paying the price for choosing their Chinese garbage furniture.

Horrible Online Purchase Experience:
- Item was expected to ship it 2 week, but i got it after 6 weeks. That would have been okay considering all the delays in supply chain, but the delivery was partial because some of the parts were still were not delivered. Some items were incorrect parts. So essentially they delivered late and I still cant use it and its been 7 weeks now.
- When i request to cancel/return it, they are saying that I accepted the order and its been 72 hours since delivery and they cannot take it back.
If Ashley did their product delivery correctly and accepted fault for delays in their inventory backlog, then I dont have to deal with it.

Currently went into an Ashley store located in Beckley West Virginia. Was greeted by six or more people at the front we told them that we were looking at kitchen tables. We proceeded to look at all the tables- I happen to turn to one of the sales reps and ask do you have a measuring tape the woman grunted at me went up to the front where the group was and had somebody else bring me a measuring tape when the person gave us the tape we started to ask how do we find the measurements is there somewhere written they showed us and walked away. We took pictures of the information about the furniture we gave back to measuring tape and found other tables, we never ask if we had questions- they all seemed like we were annoying them while they were busy in the front of store chatting! Wow the worst customer service ever! If they work on commission they all must be very poor! When a customer is measuring that is a clear sing that they are very interested in buying! I will go to another furniture store or simply buy in line - hell with their commission!

After waiting for 10 months for our bedroom set we cancelled order. Unfortunately paid by check. After 2 months still waiting for money. Ashley national number refers us to store.Store says corporate sends refund. Will never shop there again.

Ashley Homestore DARTMOUTH NOVA SCOTIA.

Over a 10 year period I have purchased 3 mattress sets and 3 couches. That's A LOT of money. My most recent couch was delivered the beginning of December. I live alone. I do not use my couch often and I also take very good care of anything I own so it should not look like it does within a month or so of owning. I've contacted the store with a response being that

"Hi Sarah, I do apologize for the delay. I've been talking to the General Manager and service about this, and they said this is not a quality issue and the pilling is normal. The easiest way to quickly take care of this is with a fabric shaver, and it will look like new afterwards.
I've attached a link to an article on upholstery fabric pilling that has some suggestions.

I did not purchase a couch for over 1400 dollars to be told that. My last couch that is 4-5 years old actually looks better than my new couch. This is not normal. I would think such a large company would stand behind their products. If I wanted a cheap worn down looking couch I would have bought a cheap one or a second hand one.

I just want the couch to be picked up and be refunded the cost so I can go purchase myself a couch that will actually look good for a much longer time compared to this one!

3 months waiting for rebate that I was told would be automatic once furniture was delivered now they say I have too jump through hoops to get it and it's $50.00 less than what I was told. Never shopping Ashley again.

So two months ago I purchased a very beautiful couch from Ashley furniture well they delivered it to me the first time it was damaged they came and picked it up second time damaged they came and picked it up third time damaged but this time I am angry and Ashley furniture has nothing to say every time I call I can't get anybody higher but Customerservice. They picked my couch up Friday and did not bring me anything else they said they are going to refund me my money I haven't seen it yet so now I am out of a couch at my house I'm sitting on the floor Ashley furniture is Customerservice is absolutely the worst the furniture is cheap I am one not to yelp about businesses but do not go to Ashley furniture they will rob you of your money and now here I am
