Highly recommend AMAZON and or TARGET over this company. Ordered one item, promised in two days, never arrived, all tracking information kept changing daily. Numerous attempts to contact customer-NO-service and no responses. Tried the CHAT feature and you have to have your entire life history and blood type to get beyond the hello greeting. Lack of any quality service. How do they stay in business?

This site is a joke. They offer decent prices on some things and I figured since I could save a couple bucks buying here instead of amazon, I might as well try. Biggest mistake. Constant problems with the order, reaching someone who could properly give me information I needed. The only reason I gave 5 on friendly was at one point I did reach one woman who was very helpful and polite, but other than her everything sucked. Will NEVER shop here again, regardless of how much money I could save.

I ordered a coffee table (Anjin Enzo Contemporary 2-tone multi-storage coffee table) with Brand of "Furniture of America" from Overstock.com. I received the parts a week after placing the order, just to realize that there were missing parts, without which I could not even start the process of building the table. When I registered a complaint with customer care of Overstock.com, the gentleman names Kade promised that I would receive USD 50.00 as compensation and that the parts would be replaced at the earliest. What happened next... Guess what!!! I get an email mentioning that the order for missing parts for "Altra Carson End Table' has been placed and I shall hear from their customer care in 2 business days!!! So wrong parts ordered for wrong product and not a mention of the refund!!! When i called customer care again to confirm what's going on, I hear that there was no refund promised or registered in system. Also, the parts were wrongly ordered as I had guessed. They corrected it in their system (apparently.... let's see what email i receive next from Jessica). and there was NO promise for any compensation....

This is not the first time Overstock.com has messed with the delivery of parts for "Furniture of America". Just a few days earlier, my headboard that ordered from Overstock.com had parts with holes drilled in wrong places., They finally had to send replacement parts which arrived after 8 days of complaining.

NEVER AGAIN any order from OVERSTOCK.COM.

Particularly, Furniture of America SUCKS!!! as much as "OVERSTOCK.com"

I ordered a bra as a gift for my wife and received a wrong size, very different from one been ordered. Now I have a choice between tossing the item and incurring losses due to having been charged for shipping. Congratulations, oversuck! Thankfully, I used your services only once, and the lesson I learned was a cheap one.

The Staff is very rude no customer service skills at all , does not return calls after you speaks with them on a matter and the manager is very smart and disrespect at the Overstock store in Lanham MD

3 days to process order. Took 3 days for my order to ship from salt lake city to Denver, Colorado. Poor service.

I purchased a bathroom vanity and sink--just shy of $700. I received an email a couple of days later saying it had shipped. For weeks, the tracking number did not work. After 3 email exchanges with customer service, they told me it had never shipped and was out of stock. We'll see if they ever refund my money. First and last time I ever use this company.

OVERSTOCK CUSTOMER SERVICE REPs LIE LIKE A RUG. Overstock sent my 72 lb, 8 by 11 foot area rug in the wrong color and assured me that a mistake would not happen with the replacement. The mistake happened with the replacement. I asked to be compensated for the huge effort of returning their second mistake. After going through 9 CSRs to whom I have had to repeat the story, I was told they can only offer me a refund for the rug. Period. It is important to know when ordering a large item that requires effort to return that you are very likely to have to return it and they are likely to give you a very bad time about it. I am still waiting for the $530 refund for the rug, by the way. They have held my money for nearly a month.

I don't know what to do I literally ordered thousands of dollars from overstock and I have received 2 out of about 20 I am so upset and disappointed because it is showing a major charge balance and that it's been delivered but I have received a mattress and a box of brackets that were supposed to go to a frame I had ordered wth is really going on. And yes its been plenty of time well over a month someone please help......

Terrible customer service. Terrible delivery methods. It would be helpful if the tracking numbers were provided when you purchase an order instead of having to ask for customer service to send a tracking number. Also, keeping the tracking status up to date... my order status has been the same for 6 days. I called in, and the delivery company told me my order was still in the same state/different city as it was from when I placed the order. I'm hoping the item isnt going to be damaged.. I probably won't ever purchase from overstock again.

I had a complaint about an item I had intended on purchasing, the agent states that item was strictly windows, but the item photo had shown it was macintosh compatible. He kept insisting that "win mac software" meant that it was NOT mac compatible. I asked if the item pictured was not actually what I was purchasing, and he said it was, but the description states i was receiving the item through download. One simple google search will tell you that "win mac software" means it's windows AND macintosh compatible. I don't know who they are hiring over at overstock, but they are evidently not the brightest bulbs in the bunch.

Over stock is a joke. They say they have an item in stock. They lied. Than when you call up after they say it was shipped, it wasn't in stock when we were told it was.So, we tried again because we wanted product. We were told we would get it today. We called again and were told they need 2 days to find out from the warehouse to find out where it is. At this point it's the worse service we ever ran across! They should be ashamed of calling them a business!

TERRIBLE. I lost $55 and change
I would have quit after astonishing poor service but was stuck with a $200 in store credit because they lost a package.
After ordering twice to acquit this credit, with $55 something credit remaining, I ordered a Womens bathrobe one size for about $64. It was a decent fit on a 200 lb gorilla so I returned it. I was refunded the $9 and change and my credit was deleted.
Three emails and a phone call later to hear the revisionist history that somehow results in the fact that had I kept the robe, it would have cost $9 and change.
Just as well, because Overstock is dishonest and keeps your money while delivering poor products and absolutely no service.

terrible custemer care center cant get acct number and address to mail money..,sounds simple.. will,not give me an answer. I just want to make a payment, they dont knoe the answers to really tough questions.. they will be happy to send you some where else 5 times

Totally dissatisfied with Overstock.com. It was my first time ordering from them: a blanket, a body pillow, and pillow case. I got the pillow and blanket fairly quickly. Come to find out its the completely wrong blanket and not even in the size I ordered. Called customer service and they immediately got me a return label and ordered me the supposed correct blanket. Next package I get is the body pillow cover...which rips right as I'm trying to put it on the pillow. Today I get my blanket, and it's STILL the wrong blanket!! I told them to just refund me because I am never ordering from there again. Not a good first impression at all.

I ordered a couch on January 23, 2015 on overstock.com. I understood that because it was oversize, it would take some time. I followed up in early February via Chat, and was advised my couch would be shipping on/about February 13, 2015. I continued to check my order status and it still continued to be 'processing' (as it is as I write this review on 2/21/15). After contacting OS again about this order and indicating that if it was not shipping in 7 days I wanted to cancel, I was contacted (2/19/15) by Jasmine who advised she would be the point person on this order. On 2/20/15, I received a bill for the order. I contacted OS and advised I would not pay a penny until the order AT LEAST shipped out of the warehouse/mfg. OS had me call 2 different numbers, neither CSR could help, and referred me back to Jasmine. At this point, I'm so angry I'm not sure what to do, but I want others to know what to expect from OS customer service!!!

I ordered a Khal Mohammedi oriental rug from them. Delivery was speedy but I couldn't put the rug down right away because I needed a rug pad and was reluctant to order one until the rug came and could be measured as orientals are often not the size they are supposed to be. I rechecked the original size and in doing so I noticed the price had been discounted by $100. They would not credit because they had a 7-day limit however nowhere was that mentioned beforehand. Also they should have noted that this rug is not colorfast which means a much higher cleaning fee than a colorfast rug. I had not order from them in years because of bait and switch merchandise and it will be many, many more years before if and when I order from them again.

I am trying to order three items & have them shipped to a DPO mailing address. I received a message saying these items cannot be shipped to my DPO address. This should not be the case. DPO addresses are domestic, diplomatic mailing addresses. I will try phoning to place my order with a customer service representative.

Beware return costs - even if overstock.com makes the mistake, you are out of pocket!!
I recently ordered bed sheets from overstock.com through eBay; they shipped the wrong size. When I contacted overstock.com, the response was talk to eBay. eBay finally gave approval to return the incorrect time for refund; when I asked about the cost of shipping the incorrect item from Canada, overstock.com said it was nothing to do with them, talk to eBay! eBay told me it was not their problem, and that I had had a choice on whether or not to send the item back - no choice if I wanted any refund!!!
End result: overstock.com sent me the wrong item and I had to pay for the privilege of returning it so that could obtain a refund! Initial purchase cost $125 (refunded by eBay); return shipping $27 - my expense!!
No accountability; no consequences for bad behaviour; poor customer service!

I purchased a table from Overstock and it arrived damaged (the wood was chipped and the finish of the product was poor quality - It was 200$ for a little end table). A replacement was sent that was in far worse condition than the original (more wood chipped and yellow stains on one of the shelves). Terrible customer service, terrible business.

They messed up on my X-mas order 2 years in a row and they misrepresent the products. You think you're getting a bargain but you actually paying top dollar for an item which is available at other retailers.
The product descriptions lack vita information.
