Purchased a glass iPhone protector for 6 phone on January 29, 2016. Chipping so returned to Denver store (Colorado Blvd) on February 8. Was told it was out of warranty and I would have to contact manufacturer. Cost was $39.99. When asked if I had to send entire phone in Michael Watson who said he was the store mgr. said he didn't know. No help at all. No wonder Rafio Shack is going out of business. My phone

Michael (manager of Radio Shack's Centennial store on Arapahoe Rd ) made my day today (2/7/2016) - he threw me out of "his" store. This is the first time in my 70 years that I've been thrown out of any place, never mind a Radio Shack store, now I have a story I can tell.

I unfortunately ran in to Michael when I returned a $6.00 12V battery that I had bought earlier that day for my old Radio Shack Multi-Meter. Michael tested the battery (actually he tested it incorrectly, but I did not say anything) using his voltmeter and agreed it was dead so he gave me a replacement battery. I put the new battery in my Multi-Meter and this batter too was dead.

At this point, Michael got annoyed when I wanted to try a 3rdr battery. He told me that this was the last time he was willing to open another battery for me to use. I tried this last battery, it failed too and then Michael tested it with his volt-meter and said the battery was good and it was my device that was bad and NOT his batteries. I tried to explain to him that you can not use a volt-meter, without a load across the battery, to truly test a battery. He did not understand or did not want to listen, but he told me he was not going to let me try any more of his batteries and that it was my device that was bad.

I then walked across the street to a supermarket, bought a battery (at half the cost that Radio Shack charged) put it in my Multi-Meter and it worked. I went back to Radio Shack and showed Michael my now working Multi-Meter. I then politely told him that he should know how to test a battery, and that I wanted to know who his manager was because I wanted to complain about his customer service.

Michael thru a little hissy-fit gave me the customer complaint phone number and told me to leave his store, which I did.

Based on my experience, Michael is still trying to sell a bunch of bad batteries. IMO, Michael needs both technical and customer service training

Paid cash for an alarm for a home that did not work, the next day I took it back they would not give us our money back, said they would mail us a check could take up to 2 weeks. I paid with cash I wanted my cash back. This happen at radio shack in Eldon Missouri.

i purchased a mini am/fm pocket radio at nov.29 for christmas for my son as you know christmas present have to purchase early because of surprises and when a person gets paid. well it broke and i used my debit card for proof of purchas, the sales man said no way he could help us he was rude in this matter. so can any one help me here with this purchase.trans 2242 store

the store in san leandro was terrible the manager was so rude and that is it for me for radio shack i brought mt tracfone to have more minutes he said why do u come here i said every year i come to renew minutes he said very rudely why do u come here i said cause i come here every year cause i bought the phone and minutes here he was very rude so why do u come here he said rudely are u aware we dont do tracphone and why did u come here when we have gone bankrupt which why would i know what the changes are he said u should have known then i asked about maybe buying a sprint he said rudely we dont do tracfone well u lost a customrer for good it was terrible and he yelled at me when i left i said i didnt know u guys were going under it was the store in san leandro he said he was the manager the name was something like aied he didnt care if i called u and reported the horrible experience i have been a radio shack customer for many years not anymore if u have managers who are so rude

I am a 54 yr old retired widow that was in sales ALL MY LIFE. I was very good at it. I sold cars, electronics for Cowboy Malony in Jxn, MS, Furniture and started out smaller. anyway I went into a Radio shack in Brandon, MS and the salesman was pitiful. He either did not want to sell me the 60 dollar item because it would mess up his numbers or he was lazy and awful at his job. He had no training. He did not want to unlock the item so I could see it. I was the ONLY customer in the store. I asked him if I had to sync it with my phone every time I got in the car and he told me yes. When I asked him further he told me I only had to sync it the first time and it would do it automatically from then on. He either did not want me to buy it or he is a terrible salesman. Either way Radio Shack has a bad enough reputation in this area without employees blatantly being rude and totally not wanting to help customers. He should be fired fast before he runs of more customers. He is a young black man around 30 that was the only person I saw working at 12:30pm Wen. 12/30/15. He may have been the manager but if that is the case it makes the situation worse. I will report this to corporate. I will not buy anything from this person. I will go to a different location or likely order online from newegg. They have better prices and no rude employees to deal with.

I purchased a Ion-Glass cover at the Needham Store in MA. For my first ever IPHONE. The store manager placed it on my phone for me. The next day I noticed a hair or a crack, so I took off the glass cover and it cracked in two places. The day after Christmas I went back to the store, I was sure I had a defective glass. I was immediately put in my place by two young employees, who said " it is your fault, you are never supposed to take off the glass." So I went back to the store on December 26th. This time I was told by the store manager " I know your story, it is your fault, we will not allow an exchange or refund, but you can return it to the manufacturer and when you get the new one, come back and I will put it on for you". I immediately went to the Apple Store at Legecy Place, told my story, asked what Apple would do in my case and purchased a new glass. Radio Shack policy and customer service is terrible. Never Again!

I went to purchase 2 Galexy phones at youre santa fe huntington park store the manager gloria assist me before i was going to sign the contract she told me there was a service charge on each phone of 36 dollars i told her
ill think about the phones an come back because what started as a deal is adding up she then told me shell wave the fee to come n an pay my bill when it comes so i did on dec 22 i got them nov 22 when i went n she wasnt there i xplain to this gentlemen he then tx gloria n she recall i left my name n number like i was told n to that she would call me after she took care of it needless to say no one words meant anything i had the 2nd phone wrap for my son for xmas when he open it up it wasnt in service i was waiting on gloria to minus the fee so i can make a pyment this ruin my christmas i was so mad i trusted gloria n radio shack after i resolve this ill never shop at youre stores n im giong tp let everyone no how use handle business use took the joy out of are xmas

I bought a multimeter from Radioshack 2 weeks ago and couldn't get it to work correctly. Took it back today and the store manager confirmed that it was in fact defective. However, she would not replace it because it was a clearance item. When I told her I felt ripped off and that this is why radioshack was struggling, she made me and my 5 year old son leave the store. I went to another location and they also had the same approach with their costomers. I just can't believe they can get away with this type of bad business.

I just called the radio shack in Blue Island the lady answered the phone said her name was Tay and she spelled it Tay.
I attempted to explain to her what my issue was she wasn't interested in listening. I attempted to tell her that I was a customer and I asked if she would just listen and allow me to explain the reason for my call she then said she knew what I wanted and I needed to just come into the store. I called another location spoke with a helpful person who gave me the information that I was looking for I needed to know if you guys carry the item that I was looking for. I called back and ask for the same lady and ask her why she would not listen to me speak informed her once again that I was the customer she refused to listen to my questions or my responses she told me to have a nice day and abruptly hung up on me. Also prior to speaking with her on the second phone call I spoke with one of her associates who refused to identify himself when I asked to speak to her he really put me on hold he didn't ask me to hold on he didn't say he was going to transfer he just abruptly put me on hold. It seems that people in this location have no customer service skills whatsoever they are completely unprofessional and rude to the customer. In speaking with other radio shacks and addressing my concerns it's a known fact that this store and manager has these kinds of issues on a regular basis at some point your corporation has to know that you're going to continue to suffer losses as long as you allow people like this to continue to ruin your business and your name. I'll never want to see or speak to anyone in that location and it is a shame because it is the closest location to my home. So that means I'll never deal with RadioShack good luck and I guess I will be dealing with best buy from now on

I went into the Radioshack on Gravois Plaza in St. Louis this week and there was an employee sitting at a table in the middle of the store, eating fried chicken - greasy fingers, lips, the whole picture. I was amazed and asked him since when Radioshack allowed employees to eat fried chicken in the store. He informed me that he was with the Sprint side' and it was his break. When I spoke to the Radioshack clerk, she said they had no control over what Sprint did. I left and called the store. The manager answered and I asked if he was at the store. Yes, he said. Do you know that your employee is eating fried chicken in the middle of your store. He didn't see a problem with that. I won't be shopping there, I said. Okay, he answered.

I tried to find an email, address or phone number for Radioshack but could not. I posted this on their facebook page, but got a message that the owner of the page would evaluate the comment to see whether or not it was appropriate!

So continued complaint....Defective Netgear router...1st attempt only 1 person can do refunds...when I told sales clerk the router will not set up... (this was having a professional computer person determining it to be defective)...clerk told this is real simple plug yellow line into router then into your computer...newsflash...if a professional computer tech can not get it to work...then so do not insult my intelligence by telling me how to set up a defective router...
After waiting for only person that can do refund come back from lunch...to be told to pick something else out because clearance items have no refund...hummm...if it was not defective this conversation would not be happening...I understand if you change your mind and no refunds...ok can except that.. but a defective item....really....I should have just took my money and burned it...Radio Shack sold me a defective item that is of no use to me, but they basically stole my money and made no effort to make this horrific experience better. I was told by the sales manager could not so anything...I told her to get someone higher up....she acted as if she was making a call and surprise no one else available...she started helping other people leaving me hanging out to dry...sorry after 4 customers later I was
majorly pissed....not only do you sale defective equipment with no refunds but your customer service is even worse...When she finally came back to me and again refuses to give me a refund and would not stop talking over me...I told her to shut up and listen was only way to get her attention...then she said leave my store now and Merry Christmas....Really you steal my money refuse to listen to anything and wish he a Merry Christmas....seriously pathetic..
After looking up that Radio Shack is still in bankruptcy reorganization....610 negative reviews....and the BBB has warning on Radio Shack....hmmmm guess since they can not run their business right they get by with selling defective worthless products and take pride in taking people's money...Boy, they got this down on stealing money....
My advise ...DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH RADIO SHACK...GIVE YOUR MONEY TO HOMELESS SHELTER OR HELP SOMEONE ELSE IN NEED....THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF AND TEACH THEIR EMPLOYEES TO COVER FOR THEM....VERY VERY SAD...

Purchased a Netgear Router that would not hook up to internet ...it is defective and they want to do exchange it instead of refunding money...Really you sale me me a clearance item that is defective and force other products on me. Pretty sad business practices. If a item does not work ther should be a refund of money option. Sorry sorry company. If it worked properly I would not be here returning it.

Purchased an item at RadioShack Bucaneer store in the Vjrgin Islands. Had to go the the one in Nusky Center to pick up the item. Staff at the Nismy store complained that the item should've been bought at their store. Joan the store manager takes receipts goes to the back of the store. Comes back to the counter hands us our receipts, and just walks off. We had to ask another salesperson if we can now retrieve our items. Horrible customer service at Niaky in St. Thomas. I definitely not sop there again. What a great way to start the season!

I have bought two cell phone chargers at the Ashland Ohio store. I paid $25.00 for the first one and it lasted maybe a month before it stopped working. I took it back and they gave me a new one but they weren't very nice about it. The second one lasted about the same amount of time but when I took it back they refused to give me a new one because I didn't buy a warranty. I'm VERY upset that a $25.00 charger can't last more than a month and about how rudely I was treated!! Something needs to happen.

I will never in my life return to the radio shack on west third in bloomington indiana. I went in to pay a sprint bill real quick...so i thought a couple was being helped the employee knew i had to pay a bill when the couple said help me they were going to look at phones she said no let me take 15 minutes to load my systym and proceeded to talk about nothing when i could have paid that bill in literally a minute was complete bull and ignorance i recommend anyone who reads this to avoid that store intirely

I returned a product about a year ago with a guarantee that I could use the credit amount for future purchases. But, recently I tried to use the credit of $52.99 and the store manager told me that it was no longer valid. Please let me know how I can get my money back? Thank you very much.

Went to the radioshack in apopka at 7:45 and the doors were locked... Sign said they close at 8 so i knocked on the door. Rude young girl came to the door and i asked and "are you closed?" before i got a response she had already went back inside and that was that. Very rude and dont even stay open till the posted time...

I purchased a carrying case for my laptop and a 32G memory card (which was pricey) and was told that I had to have the receipt for return. Stores have their right to their choice of policies, but big thanks to Walmart who not only has better prices and a no hassle way for customer returns. Thanks radio shack for reminding me why I don't shop with you.

We walked in to the Kamuela, Hawaii Radio Shack and asked the manager if he had a receptical and ballast for the flourescent bulb that he was shown. He said, "No we don't" and that was it. There was nothing else said by him. He did not even ask if there was a way to help.

i have a complain that radioshack dos'nt have spair parts for what they sail.I bought a wirelees phone ( SIMENS ) and the battary been finished in 14 month (rechargeble ) i went to by a new one , they don't have in any of their branches in Egypt so i have to by a new phone .This is bad service , i would not by anythig from radioshack anymoor
