Recently bought a Prius from James Rucker at Scott Clark's Toyota. Great experience with Hank and James. Love the Prius!

Are the only comments made on this forum negative? I have had great experiences w/ Toyota since I started driving them 20 yrs. ago.(~6 vehicles myself; ~ 13 total in the family). Dealerships suck to start with, so once I own one, it gets serviced by my own, tried and true mechanic. I'm in the process of dealing w/ a recall right now, and I'm disappointed in the attitude of some of the employees,,(mngmnt.) All real mechanics I've dealt with have been helpful, courtious.....(maybe because I'm blue collar too).
Their prices have gotten out of hand, but nothing is reasonably priced these days. I'm am still a Toyota fan, although I wouldn't say"die-hard". I could be swayed under the right conditions. I'm truely hoping for an amiable resolution to my problems w/ my truck. That will tell the story! I welcome feedback.......

I took my 07 Yaris to Stevenson Toyota in Jacksonville NC for a recall notice. Was very pleased with the service. No problems or complaints. The work was performed in about the hour time frame that was stated in the recall letter.
The service advisor, Robert Detweiler, was courteous & pleasant

Just want to applaud the service I received from Lowe Toyota in Warner Robins, Ga. I had just begun a road trip from my home in St. Pete, Florida when my AC conked out five hours into the trip. Luckily Lowe Toyota had a billboard on I-75 so I followed the signs to the service area. There, I thought my vacation was about to go downhill. But the exact opposite happened. No appointment but I still got immediate attention and the problem was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Thanks to Colin Brown for helping make my vacation perfect.

I LOVE MY PRIUS! From the pleasant experience buying it (Maita Toyota, Al Rosenbloom...who has sold us at least 5 cars over the years)...to the efficient service I have had throughout the 5 plus years I've owned it at Folsom Lake Toyota...I could not be happier.

At 176,000 miles, it still runs like a dream.
It was only a few months in my possession, whe I was in a terrible accident - hit from behind by a car going about 55mph, and thrown forward into a small pick up truck. BOTH ends simply accordianed, and my passenger and I walked away unscathed. There was $21,000 in damage and Maita Toyota Body Shop fixed it beautifully. A few minor additional fixes later, but all made good by Maita. Did I say that I'm happy? I am.

In a few weeks, my sister and I will jump in my little red Prius for a perigrination (a journey) through Oregon and Washington. The Prius is our choice because I still get consistently 38 mph on the average. Have gotten as much as 48...but the way I drive, it's more realistically hitting 38. Even in these inflated gas price times...I pay $32 to go 305 miles. Not bad.

I live in the foothills of California, and wondered how this car would handle the climb up hiway 50. I keep up with all the big girl cars just fine! Even in lane #2!!!

Today, I had an experience at Maita Toyota - and just happened to be on Facebook at the time, so I posted as it all unfolded. I thought I would share it here...because this is PROOF that the success is in how a company handles a problem. There will always be problems - but a simple apology and making it right show integrity. This is the Facebook post: (I have removed last names of my friends - but left mine)

Maita Toyota has a comfy waiting room with WiFi, a deli and move customers to visit with! Can't find an outlet tho. And no free coffee or drinks like Folsom Toyota. I'm becoming a car dealer waiting room critic. Wonder if I can be like a paid secret shopper?

I took my receipt to the counter and she said Maita Body is not part of Maita Toyota so I can't have a $1.00 cup of coffee. Are you kidding me??!! I'm here for two hours!!!!!!

Sue Peppers A good friend of mine works here. I had him paged before this to say hi...he hasn't been available yet. So the front desk lady came to tell me he is not answering...so I asked her if Maita Body is indeed not part of Maita Toyota. She said she is sure they are related (she is new)..and so I told her my sad coffee story (Ron, see what you started..I was perfectly happy with water!!!). She is getting a manager. DRAMA!

Ron Never had issues with Maita Toyota. (My family is lifetime customers... Bought many cars there too...) I trust them because I never do anything without going through my same service advisor. He's head of the "blue team", Steve Morris. Ask for him sometime. Tell him I sent ya. I think he would be certain you got your coffee!

Thank you for the many years of Toyota service, for hiring a man of integrity and excellence in Al Rosenbloom (Maita), and apparently Steve (everyone like Steve), in training your service folks to not only FIX cars, but care for people, and for providing a place to post comments about my experiences!

I plan to drive my Prius to 250,00...and then, only if I want to, I may trade it in on another Prius. At the rate I drive, that might be soon! It's become a buddy to me though - not sure I can give it up.

I would like to make a positive comment on the exceptional service and treatment I received from the Toyota Dealership located in Dallas, Tx on Forest Lane.
Mr. Joe Ensey and Mr. Nick Federico were most helpful.
This was my first experience in purchasing a new car. I was, at best, apprehensive. These two gentlemen made the entire experience comfortable and pleasant. I would hope that other first time buyers could be so fortunate as to have as good an experience as I have had.

I just read someone questioned a charge for a light bulb. We just had an inspection on our 2005 Toyota Avalon and the Center Stoplight had ONE bulb burned out and we had to replace the whole unit at a cost of $159.01 because we were told they can't replace only one small bulb. We love our Avalon, but who can afford an Avalon if when replacing one light bulb you are charged $159.0l because you can't replace one light bulb. Unhappy Toyota customer.

I got a highlander at the dealer in Watertown, if you want to buy a car please visit this dealer, they make you feel like the owner of the dealer (ask for lois).

So far, the experience has been positive. Waiting to see what more can be done.

It's hard to summarize multiple experiences for a worldwide company from one location, but I can try. The service department for Hickory Toyota goes above and beyond to satisfy every customer. They are honest and up front with pricing and repair options. Always try and get your work done as quickly as possible.

I have had great experiences at the route 22 Toyota service dept. Hillside N.J., due to the customer service given by consultant Robert Majkowski. He is very astute in his position.

Please give him an accommodation for me. He is well deserving of it.

Long time customer.

Wow rarely have I received such fast wonderful service from any buisness. Chatham Parkway Toyota had us fixed and out the door in 1 hour and thirty minutes. We had a ECM replaced, a cabin air filter and a fuel induction service. We were a walk-in and were seen immediatly. The service consultant Hub McIver was a pleasure. He took the time to explain everything and we were paying our very reasonable bill as the car was coming down the lift. Never have I had such a great experiance at any dealer or car repair. I will even consider buying a Toyota for my next car just to use their service center. Thanks Hub

I was halfway through a 500 mile trip to my father-in-law's funeral when my 2004 Highlander had some unknown vibrations. I pulled off the interstate and the first shop that I passed by was Marianna (FL) Toyota. They took me right in, did a safety check, and gave me piece-of-mind for the remainder of my travels. And did not charge me. Good folks at Marianna.

My car was giving me too many problems, so I thought it was the time to look around to buy a new car. I left the office at 4:30pm, and I stopped at Toyota of Hackensack (New Jersey) with the intentions to find out what options I had. At 9:30pm, I was leaving the store driving my new car. The sales representative (Alexander Garcia)was excellent, he answered the hundred of questions I made. Very patient and polite. My husband and I are really satisfied with the service provided. We are definitely recommending him with some friends. Keep the good work. Thank you.

Performance Toyota in Fairfield Ohio is AWESOME! They have the absolute best customer service in both sales and repair/service. Their waiting room is also really nice. I drove there from West Virginia to buy my Toyota and I don't regret it at all.

I've always had wonderful service at the Toyota Sunnyvale location. The employees are always friendly and helpful. My wait for parts or service is never long. The service managers always give me a price quote and an estimated time of completion for any work being done. They happily answer any questions that I may have. What more could I ask for? Thank you for the wonderful customer service employees of Toyota Sunnyvale! Keep up the good work!

I took my wife's 2009 Rav4 for the fake pedal fix. I still have much confidence in Toyota and Honda products. I would buy a Toyota with this pedal problem before I would buy a G.M. product and have it live in the service dept. Has anyone thought of the probability of sabotage of Toyota? Bill Gates was getting too big and he took a hit. Toyota has become the largest auto maker in the world and now they are getting the hit. I predict the next big boy hit will be Walmart. It seems our government is none to fond of anyone with a lot of $$$$$$.

I had an appointment at Balise Toyota in West Sringfield, Ma. 01089 For a recall on my 2000 tundra for rust issues. After inspection of my vehicle it was no longer safe to drive. Although dissapointed I would like to say that Tina Martinez the assistant trac manager did an excellent job in taking care of all my needs. A special thanks goes out to her. I hope she is recognized for her professionalism. Thank You Jeff Lachowetz

I want to thank you for a service I never imagined to receive. I called concerning the replacement of a steering rack replacment on a 2005 Toyota with only 44,000 miles on it. I just wanted to express my dissatisfaction. The customer service rep was polite and helped me work with the dealer. Toyota fixed the problem and did not charge me. (#2008-1117-0897)

Thank you.
