After returning from our holiday in Ixtapa our luggage did not make our connecting flight. We would like to thank the West Reps in Saskatoon (Leslee and James) for their excellent service and concern. Their numerous emails and phone calls were reassuring that they were tracking our luggage at the earliest possible date. Thank you again to West Jet and the excellent employees.

I would like to tell you how very impressed we were with your staff on ws2382 from ixtapa Mexico march 6th 2015... they were kind informative and funny ...they made our flight one of the most pleasant flights and we want to compliment them...people are quick to complain so I thought I would give them a 5 star rating and wish them well.thank you west jet...the pearson family

As a big fan of WJ I find it odd to be writing this email. I have over the years enjoyed the friendly attitude and easy going conversations.

Unfortunately on my WJ flight 2289 from SJD to YYC yesterday Mar 05, 2015 I believe that the attendants crossed the line into 'unprofessionalism'. The flippant comments came to a point where I (and others around me) felt uncomfortable. I got to a point were I did not feel that if there was any sort of emergency that they would be serious enough to deal with any problems at hand. I thought at first it was just me but talking with people around me there was a common thread.

There is nothing wrong about light heartedness but I believe that the line was crossed yesterday. I don't know if the FA comments are recorded on their PA announcements but if they are it would clearly show you what happened. Of course many of the comments were not on the PA system.

I believe that you can have the WJ attitude and professionalism as well but, I believe that yesterday the line was crossed.

I've travelled with with WJ for over 10 years started in 2001

No complaints â?¦ other people booked flight for me from Saskatoon to QQA & QQA to YXE (Sasktatoon)

So I did not get any rewards (don't really expect any)

My complaint is I booked a flight from QQa to Yxe Apr 23/15 using my I got a flt 0600am

arr in XE 1645 for $216 â?¦ when I went book itâ?¦booking was $378 ? WHY ? This is the 1st time I tried to book it myself; My Daughter is going to try to book my flight tonite or tomorrow! Will she have the same results or it just me ?

Flight 435 from St,Johns to Halifax was the best service I have ever had. The Crew, Pilots & check in crew were fantastic. I love West Jet I feel so welcome. I didn't even feel the landing in strong winds. I would not care of prices any more, I will use West Jet even if the cost was double than competitors.

However you guys are doing it its working. Keep up the good work & please send my comments to the crew. They deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. People like that are hard to find.

See you guys soon.

West Jet Employee Mark Peiz from Abbotford BC....very, very helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to accommodate my husband and myself to get on the flight to Calgary. His associate who was with him on shift Aug 25th at 7pm Shelly(not sure if I got the name right)....both of them were awesome. Thankyou so much for your help getting us home.

On May 29th, on my flight from Vancouver to Prince George, my new, beautiful, lime green suitcase had a huge hole the size of a dinner plate gouged out of the side, going through 2 of the front pockets. They put it on the carousel facing away from me on pick-up, so I didn't notice until I arrived at my daughter's place! However, on June 1st, when I arrived at Prince George airport, a very caring check-in attendant, named Lorraine, offered me a new American Tourister substitute bag-black, not lime green, but comparable otherwise. She also made sure I had good seats all the way back to Toronto. Kudos to Lorraine at PG

My experience with West Jet was On January 13th 2014 on a flight to Calgary from Abbotsford BC. A sudden wind storm blew through Calgary and after 2 or 3 tries at landing, we were diverted to Edmonton where we sat on the tarmac for approx. an hour the pilot and stewardesses did their best of keeping us informed as to what was going on. Making sure that as soon as they knew what was going on we would know. After awhile we were refueled and sent back to Calgary.. Customer service reps were there to help passengers who had missed connecting flights. As a nervous flyer I was very pleased with West jet personnel.

Wow, just watched your video on what you did for your passengers, I have never seen that much generosity from any US airline. All they do is raise fares. We need more companies like you in the world and things might be a lot better. I hope you expend more in the US, I would fly with you anyway, Merry Christmas

Westjet Corporate and staff members - All of you are awesome!! What a fabulous thing that you did with the Christmas surprise for your passengers. That was no easy undertaking and it brought tears to my eyes - seeing your staff having so much fun shopping and seeing the tears in their eyes when the passengers were unwrapping their gifts. Santa was great - even dressed in blue! Wouldn't this world be a better place - if what you did was the norm - instead of the greed displayed by so many companies. I love to fly but weight and handicapps have made so don't do it anymore - but if I could I would fly Westjet for every flight. May all of you be blessed this Christmas and every Christmas and Happy New Year. Rebecca

Saw on the news what you did for the passengers of a recent flight and just watched a video of it.

WELL DONE! WestJet! What a fantastic thing to do for those passengers and what a Merry Christmas you gave them.

I live in the United States and doubt I'll ever be able to fly your airline but kudo's to you and your staff!!

Merry Christmas to all!!

I don't know who was behind the "Christmas Miracles" video, but it was by far the most heartening piece I have watched in years. Kudos to all.

Do you happen to fly to Minneapolis?

Merry Christmas and Happy 2014!

Just watching the news about what WestJet did for giving Christmas gifts to the passengers. It really made me smile and think, Thank you WestJet for doing that for your customers. I usually fly with WestJet to see my family if the price is right. Price is everything for me when flying. Merry Christmas staff and customers of WestJet. Sincerely Richard Kavanagh

First of all let me apologize for not being more prompt in sending this very big thankyou and kudos to the WestJet staff who recently assisted me. For some reason I just kept putting it off but I just watched a video that was sent to me about the Cristmas gift giving promo and it actually brought tears to my eyes. So I thought it was time to send my appreciation to all the staff that helped me when I flew home to attend my sisters funeral. I have flown many times and without problems but on the flight from Vancouver(448)to Hamilton I became ill. Since there was a stopover in Winnipeg I was unsure if I could make it between gates. I asked the inflight staff if it was too late to make a request for a wheelchair and assistance between planes as I was ill , and she assured me she would handle it. Once in Winnipeg I was met by staff and explained what had happened, they promptly arranged for me to see paramedics to examine me and ok me for the next step of journey to Hamilton(WS738)airport. Sorry I was unable to remember everyone's names but I remembered each and everyone kindness from airline staff in air and on the ground as well as paramedics banter even though I was still a little foggy at the time. I was pronounced well enough to fly to my final destination and well cared for along the way. Once in Hamilton, I didn't want to arrive in wheelchair as I didn't want to announce to family picking me up that I had been unwell, they even had someone accompany me to carrousel to pick up luggage. I never told anyone about what happened as it was already a stressful situation, but If it hadn't been for your wonderful staff all along the way I wouldn't have made it through the eventual funeral and all that goes along with that. So even if I have no names to give you, I want you to know that they have made me a West Jeter forever. Thankyou for the forum to express my heartfelt appreciation . Diana Lyell

It is with pleasure that I forward a letter of commendation for one of your valuable employee's personal employee file. Ironically, I have had Ms Lana (Employee number 19289) telephone serving me on two different occasions with her remembering me from the previous conversation whereby she was booking several of my employees travel tickets back to Abbotsford when your online service was not responding. On both occasions, not only did she handle my requests with the utmost of efficiency and professionalism but her friendly and bubbly personality came through as considerably above average. As a global frequent flyer as both a businessman and a lecturer - years of elite membership with Air Canada, etc. - I am very cognoscenti of not only a job well done but when I am left with a smile on my face after interacting with a service employee, I am dealt with only one thing to do and that is to inform her employer that they have an exceptional employee in their employ.
It is people like Ms Lana who do more towards brand-marketing for a company such as yours than any kind of conventional advertising and as such, and although I do not know her personally, I am recommending her as a candidate for advancement based on the fact that she has represented your company in an incredibly positive light and I can only speculate that she will continue to exhibit such excellency.

We flew WJ from Thunder Bay to Halifax. Wonderful service from start to finish. Our flight from TO to Halifax was delayed due to electrical issues. Almost immediately, we were given lunch vouchers. Considering we didn't have more than an hour or so to wait, I was very surprised. Constant updates were very helpful. Have travelled all over the world and you have to go some to beat the friendly service...especially having left mu ipad on the cancelled plane. Good news is that it was turned in. All around, a pleasant experience.

I am quite shocked to hear all of this negativity about West jet, my sister our friend and I were on a flight in February from Florida to St Johns Nl and we got stranded between NL and Toronto for 11 days due to Fog issues in St Johns, yes it was a nightmare but West Jet was wonderful, they took real good care of us, under the circumstances they made it as comfortable as they could, and all of the employees were wonderful. It was my first time traveling with them, I always used Air Canada, but now I will defiantly travel with West Jet. Keep up the good work West Jet.

Your tv ads don't do your company justice...your customer service is far and beyond any other. In January I spoke to Stephen Bell 16127 about a parachuting video that was not delivered in time to our hotel before our departure. Though we did not use Westjet for this trip to cuba, Stephen went far and beyond to do everything to try to get this video to us. Alas, we never did get the video, but we will definately be travelling Westjet for our next trip to Cuba in december. Many thanks for an oustanding service rarely found these days. Lynne & Scott

I have been working in the oil patch in Northern BC for the last five years and have travelled extensively on WestJet and Air Canada. My preference by far is WestJet but on my flight home this week from Edmonton to Halifax once again I found my bags had been inspected which is great but to have found my bottles of vitamins had been open and returned to my bag with the tops open vit B12 and vit D look exactly the same try putting a couple hundred of them back in the correct bottle. This has happened on three occasions with WestJet and never with Air Canada

Hi. I would like to sincerely thank WestJet for their impeccable service. Unfortunately, due to a minor dossier, my husband was not allowed to cross the border at US customs at the airport. After 2 hours of waiting, they refused him entry. A kind WestJet representative immediately helped us, after this unexpected ordeal. She had our luggage taken off the plan and she accompanied us back to the Canadian border and stayed with us until we were left to go back home. Once home, I immediately called WestJet and explained my predicament. they asked me for the Confirmation Code, and they told me that I have a credit on my ticket and that I have 13 months to re-book with a travel agent.
My husband and I are writing to WestJef to say a huge thank you for your services, although we did not fly yet, but we are looking forward to flying with you in the near future. We travel internationally and caribbean flights often, with no problem. Again, thank you for your courteous and respectable services.
I remain Antonietta

Everything was fine with Westjet except that I asked at the airport if I could have a seat in the front row, since I had a knee surgery just lately, I was told that there was no seat available from Toronto to Liberia. At my surprise, there was a seat left empty. Can you tell me how to obtain a seat in the front row for my next trip back to Canada, booked on May31,2013, from Liberia (LIR) WS 2743.
